Chinese differs from English or Japanese, and the four Chinese tones are important characteristics,In this paper, the four Chinese tones are analysed and nine parameters are introduced. They are (1) the pitch period (2) the two parameters of the time length of talker pronounciation, (3) the pitch pattern gradinet (in 5 sections) and (4) the sum of spectral distances. Many Chinese words consist of one syllable, lt's combinationrules consist of single vowels, diphthongs or trinphtiogs.The spectrum of the vowel uses FFT in the medium frame.This method uses a group of input signals that consists of three input signal, and decides the logic “pass” or “out” .The experimental recognition ratio is over 90% for the reference talker, 7.2% for the other talker with the reference input word,and 0% for the other talker with random input words.展开更多

On the basis of the coincidence relation between the spectrum signal ...A software system of pattern recognition on spectrum signal of metal transfer mode has been developed using Visual Basic under Windows environment. On the basis of the coincidence relation between the spectrum signal and metal transfer mode, according to the geometrical pattern feature of the spectrum signal, several key characteristic parameters are extracted. The correspondent recognition function and a minimum distance classifier have been constructed based on Bayesian decision theory. The results show that using this system, the metal transfer mode of MIG, MAG, CO2 welding can be recognized automatically which provides the basis for automatically controlling of the metal gas arc welding metal transfer.展开更多
This study investigated the influence of different linearly polarized spectrum lights on locusts polartactic response characteristics linearly polarized vector sensitivity mode and polartactic response by using linear...This study investigated the influence of different linearly polarized spectrum lights on locusts polartactic response characteristics linearly polarized vector sensitivity mode and polartactic response by using linearly polarized spectrum vector light module and experimental device.The objective was to clarify the vector sensitivity characteristics and functional effect of linearly polarized light spectrum intensity on locusts polartactic response,determine the influence specificity of linearly polarized spectrum illumination properties on locusts polarization-related behavior.When spectrum and illumination were constant,locusts polartactic response,presenting the response feature of sine and cosine function change specificity,was related to spectrum attribute.The visual acuity effect stimulated by violet spectrum was the best,whereas the optical distance modulation effect induced by orange spectrum was the strongest.When illumination was enhanced,locusts vector sensitivity mode shifted to present the specific sensitivity prompted by light intensity at long distance and inhibited by light intensity at short distance.Moreover,the regulating function of violet spectrum was the strongest,and the regulatory mutation effect of orange spectrum was the least significant.Simultaneously,locusts polartactic sensitivity to 300°vector at 100 lx,whereas to 240°vector at 1000 lx of linearly polarized violet light was the strongest.Locusts polartactic aggregation and visual tendency sensitivity to 90°vector at 100 lx,whereas to 270°vector at 1000 lx of linearly polarized violet light was the strongest.The heterogeneous regulation function of different linearly polarized spectrum couplings with light intensity led to significant variations in locusts vector sensitivity mode.This was derived from the antagonistic and specific tuning characteristics of locusts polartactic vision,reflecting the integrated output effect of locusts vector dependence regulated by linearly polarized spectrum intensity attribute.The findings were significant for the construction of pest polarization induction light sources and the investigation of the sensitive physiology pathway of locusts polarization vision.展开更多
The plane wave spectrum surface integration (PWS SI) is a practical and efficient method for antenna radome system analysis, especially for determining the boresight error (BSE) in the system. But it is only used f...The plane wave spectrum surface integration (PWS SI) is a practical and efficient method for antenna radome system analysis, especially for determining the boresight error (BSE) in the system. But it is only used for sum pattern calculation till now, and BSE is calculated by the beam maximum searching method. In this paper, the aperture distribution for difference pattern is formulated as the product of that for sum pattern and a two dimensional periodic window function. A series representation for the spectrum of difference pattern is then obtained according to the convolution theorem. The truncation error of the series has been analyzed by introducing the coverage radius of the spectrum of sum pattern. Based on this representation, the PWS SI technique is extended to difference pattern calculation of radome enclosed antennas. The BSE of a three dimensional multilayered radome, with thickness tapers in all layers, is calculated through the difference pattern null searching. Owing to the steep slope of difference pattern near the nulls, this method for BSE calculation is more stable and reliable than the original beam maximum searching method in PWS SI analysis. The results are compared with those from aperture integration surface integration (AI SI) analysis and the measured ones.展开更多
