Dryden model is usually used in studying the response of flight vehicle to atmospheric turbulence. For a modern flight simulator,it is necessary to generate random winds ( in Dryden model or sometimes others) with a digital computer.In this paper,a theoretically strict new method to meet this purpose is proposed.By this method,we can acquire a three-dimensional atmospheric turbulence which contains three components of wind velocity and three components of wind velocity gradient.The reliability of this method is checked by comparing the obtained autocorrelation value with the theoretical one.A numerical example has shown a satisfactory result.Finally,some proposals about how to use this mathematical model in flight simulator are given. 展开更多

The Square Kilometre Array(SKA)is the largest radio interferometer under construction in the world.Its immense amount of visibility data poses a considerable challenge to the subsequent processing by the science data processor(SDP).Baseline dependent averaging(BDA),which reduces the amount of visibility data based on the baseline distribution of the radio interferometer,has become a focus of SKA SDP development.This paper developed and implemented a full-featured BDA module based on Radio Astronomy Simulation,Calibration and Imaging Library(RASCIL).Simulated observations were then performed with RASCIL based on a full-scale SKA1-LOW configuration.The performance of the BDA was systematically investigated and evaluated based on the simulated data.The experimental results confirmed that the amount of visibility data is reduced by about 50%to 85%for different time intervals(Δt_(max)).In addition,differentΔt_(max)have a significant effect on the imaging quality.The smallerΔt_(max)is,the smaller the degradation of imaging quality. 展开更多

Based on the transfer matrix method and the virtual source simulation technique, this paper proposes a novel semi-analytical and semi-numerical method for solving 2-D sound- structure interaction problems under a harmonic excitation.Within any integration segment, as long as its length is small enough,along the circumferential curvilinear coordinate,the non- homogeneous matrix differential equation of an elastic ring of complex geometrical shape can be rewritten in terms of the homogeneous one by the method of extended homogeneous capacity proposed in this paper.For the exterior fluid domain,the multi-circular virtual source simulation technique is adopted.The source density distributed on each virtual circular curve may be ex- panded as the Fourier's series.Combining with the inverse fast Fourier transformation,a higher accuracy and efficiency method for solving 2-D exterior Helmholtz's problems is presented in this paper.In the aspect of solution to the coupling equations,the state vectors of elastic ring induced by the given harmonic excitation and generalized forces of coefficients of the Fourier series can be obtained respectively by using a high precision integration scheme combined with the method of extended homogeneous capacity put forward in this paper.According to the superposition princi- ple and compatibility conditions at the interface between the elastic ring and fluid,the algebraic equation of system can be directly constructed by using the least square approximation.Examples of acoustic radiation from two typical fluid-loaded elastic rings under a harmonic concentrated force are presented.Numerical results show that the method proposed is more efficient than the mixed FE-BE method in common use. 展开更多

Owing to the complexity , variation and randomness of ocean environmental conditions, the commonly used methods for determining design criteria cannot consider the joint occurring probabilities of several environmental factors ,therefore, lead to overestimate design criteria of them and result in an unnecessary overspend invest in engineering. On the basis of the measured and hindcasting data and the multi-demension joint probability theory, this paper presented the study of the joint loads of wind , wave and current on the offshore structures and its responsible joint probability level with the application of random simulation techniques, and presented the joint design criteria of environmental loads for the realistic design of engineerings. 展开更多

A simple phenomenological model and detailed simulation studies of the breakdown phenomena in argon and nitrogen under the simultaneous action of electric and magnetic fields are presented in this paper. Expressions for the breakdown voltage have been derived taking into account variations of both the ionization coefficient and the secondary electron yield in a magnetic field. Calculations were performed by using XOOPIC code, an Object Oriented Particle in Cell code, with both the original and the improved secondary emission model with inclusion of the influence of the magnetic field on the secondary electron production. The simulation results presented here clearly show that the inclusion of the dependence of the secondary electron yield on the magnetic field leads to better agreement with existing experimental results. 展开更多

The structural change in heat affected zone(HAZ)and its influence on properties of welded white cast iron have been investigated by means of thermal cycle simulation technique.The structure of the white cast iron at peak temperature 800℃ was examined as cementite in pearlitic matrix,of which the hardness and impact toughness are the lowest,while the struc- ture after cyclic heating at high peak temperature is mainly cementite together with twin martensite,of which the hardness and impact toughness are rather higher.The phase bounda- ries in the structure of low hardness are smooth and regular as well as with fine precipitates. Both the cleavage and interphase fracture were revealed in the structure of low hardness,while the transgranular fracture was found in those areas of higher hardness. 展开更多

Fluid flow in fractured media has been studied for decades and received considerable attention in the oil and gas industry because of the high productivity of naturally fractured reservoirs.Due to formation complexity and reservoir heterogeneity,characterizing fluid flow with an appropriate reservoir model presents a challenging task that differs relatively from homogeneous conventional reservoirs in many aspects of view,including geological,petrophysical,production,and economics.In most fractured reservoirs,fracture networks create complex pathways that affect hydrocarbon flow,well performance,hence reservoir characterization.A better and comprehensive understanding of the available reservoir modeling approaches is much needed to accurately characterize fluid flow behavior in NFRs.Therefore,in this paper,a perspective review of the available modeling approaches was presented for fluid flow characterization in naturally fractured medium.Modeling methods were evaluated in terms of their description,application,advantages,and disadvantages.This study has also included the applications of these reservoir models in fluid flow characterizing studies and governing equations for fluid flow.Dual continuum models were proved to be better than single continuum models in the presence of large scale fractures.In comparison,discrete models were more appropriate for reservoirs that contain a smaller number of fractures.However,hybrid modeling was the best method to provide accurate and scalable fluid flow modeling.It is our understanding that this paper will bridge the gap between the fundamental understanding and application of NFRs modeling approaches and serve as a useful reference for engineers and researchers for present and future applications. 展开更多

With the solution ,fea- ture points can be conveniently picked to build kinematic constraints are the preparation of the model will be simpli- fied. The optimization method of a mathematical model and connected-pipe experimental technique for a test in altitude test facility (ATF) of a liquid fuel ramjet engine was researched.The optimization of the simple mathematical model was divided into two steps.Firstly,using the test engine's geometry configuration size data,a preliminary adjustment was done.Secondly,using experimental test data,the components' experiential coefficients were modified appropriately.Emphasis was laid on the simulation technique of flight condition and parameters measurement method.The experimental technique was applied to a ramjet ATF test successfully.The comparison results show that the optimized-model has higher precision and the nozzle gross thrust difference drops from 12% to about 4%. 展开更多

The supply chain of perishable products is a combination of information organization,sharing and integration.The information modeling of supply chain is constructed to abstract key quality information including environment information,processing procedures and product quality assessments based on principle of quality safety factors and property of decay rate.The coloured Petri Net is applied for integrated description of independent information classification,aiming at risk identification and risk management framework.Well,according to the quality deterioration tendency,risk grades management and decision-making system are established.Practically,the circulation system of aquatic products is studied in this paper for full processing description.The simulation experiments are manipulated on environmental information,processing information and product quality information by the coloured Petri Net.Eventually,the conclusion turns out precisely as such that the coloured Petri Net conclusive for information classification and information transmission while integrated information management is available of efficient risk identification and decision-making system in supply chain of perishable products.Meanwhile,the validity of evaluating management and shelf-life estimation of perishable products are technically feasible. 展开更多
