Soil organic carbon dynamics in ecosystem plays a great role in global carbon cycle and global change. With development of mathematical models that simulate changes in soil organic carbon, there have been considerable advances in understanding soil organic carbon dynamics. This paper mainly reviewed the composition of soil organic matter and its influenced factors, and recommended some soil organic matter models worldwide. Based on the analyses of the developed results at home and abroad, it is suggested that future soil organic matter models should be developed toward based-process models, and not always empirical ones. The models are able to reveal their interaction between soil carbon systems, climate and land cover by technique and methods of GIS (Geographical Information System) and RS (Remote Sensing). These models should be developed at a global scale, in dynamically describing the spatial and temporal changes of soil organic matter cycle. Meanwhile, the further researches on models should be strengthen for providing theory basis and foundation in making policy of green house gas emission in China.展开更多

The intrinsic model of emotional loops is built on the basis of Papez's circuit and related prior knowledge, and then three modulatory connection models are established. In these models, stimuli are placed at different points, which represents they affect the neural activities between brain regions, and these activities are modulated in different ways. Then, the optimal model is selected by Bayesian model comparison. From group analysis, patients' intrinsic and modulatory connections from the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) to the right inferior frontal gyrus (rlFG) are significantly higher than those of the control group. Then the functional connection parameters of the model are selected as classifier features. The classification accuracy rate from the support vector machine(SVM) classifier is 80.73%, which, to some extent, validates the effectiveness of the regional connectivity parameters for depression recognition and provides a new approach for the clinical diagnosis of depression.展开更多

It can be treated as a multi-rigid-body system with a floating base and a particular hydrodynamic profile. In this paper, theorems on linear and angular momentum are used to establish the dynamic equations of motion of each rigid body and the effect of translational and rotational motion of internal masses on the attitude control are taken into consideration. In addition, due to the unique external shape with fixed wings and deflectable rudders and the dual-drive operation in thrust and glide modes, the approaches of building dynamic model of conventional AUV and hydrodynamic model of submarine are introduced, and the tailored dynamic equations of the hybrid glider are formulated. Moreover, the behaviors of motion in glide and thrust operation are analyzed based on the simulation and the feasibility of the dynamic model is validated by data from lake field trials.展开更多

Policies which integrate the supply and demand are needed to address the water stress issues. An object-oriented system dynamics model was developed to capture the interrelationships between water availability and increasing water demands from the growth of industries, agri- cultural production and the population through modeling the decision-making process of the water exploration ex- plicitly, in which water stress is used as a major indicator. The model is composed of four sectors: 1 ) natural surface and groundwater resources; 2) water demand; 3) the water exploitation process, including the decision to build reservoirs, canals and pumps; 4) water stress to which political and social systems respond through increasing the supply, limiting the growth or improving the water use efficiency. The model was calibrated using data from 1949 to 2009 for population growth, irrigated land area, industry output, perceived water stress, groundwater resources availability and the drying-out process of Manas River; and simulations were carried out from 2010 to 2050 on an annual time step. The comparison of results from calibration and observation showed that the model corresponds to observed behavior, and the simulated values fit the observed data and trends accurately. Sensitivity analysis showed that the model is robust to changes in model parameters related to population growth, land reclamation, pumping capacity and capital contribution to industry development capacity. Six scenarios were designed to inves- tigate the effectiveness of policy options in the area of reservoir relocation, urban water recycling, water demand control and groundwater pumping control. The simulation runs demonstrated that the technical solutions for im- proving water availability and water use efficiency are not sustainable. Acknowledging the carrying capacity of water resources and eliminating a growth-orientated value system are crucial for the sustainability of the Manas River Basin.展开更多

Two combination methods are proposed. In one method, historical data is introduced into the grey time series model to predict future trend of measurement values in chemical process. These predicted measurements are then used in the dynamic model to retrieve the change of fault parameters by model based diagnosis algorithm. In another method, historical data is introduced directly into the dynamic model to retrieve historical fault parameters by model based diagnosis algorithm. These parameters are then predicted by the grey time series model. The two methods are applied to a gravity tank example. The case study demonstrates that the first method is more accurate for fault prediction.展开更多

Firstly, the aerodynamic acceleration acting on the target is analyzed to reveal the essence of the target’s motion. Then three coupled structures for modeling aerodynamic parameters are developed by different ideas: the spiral model with a harmonic oscillator, the bank model with trigonometric functions of the bank angle and the guide model with the changing rule of guidance variables. Meanwhile, the comparison discussion is concluded to show the novelty and advantage of these models. Finally, a performance assessment in different simulation cases is presented and detailed analysis is revealed. The results show that the proposed models perform excellent properties. Moreover, the guide model produces the best tracking performance and the bank model shows the second; however, the spiral model does not outperform the maneuvering reentry vehicle(MaRV) model markedly.展开更多

Meanwhile, the further researches on models should be strengthen for providing theory basis and foundation in making policy of green house gas emission in China.

文摘To realize automatic modeling and dynamic simulation of the educational assembling-type robot with open structure, a general dynamic model for the educational assembling-type robot and a fast simulation algorithm are put forward. First, the educational robot system is abstracted to a multibody system and a general dynamic model of the educational robot is constructed by the Newton-Euler method. Then the dynamic model is simplified by a combination of components with fixed connections according to the structural characteristics of the educational robot. Secondly, in order to obtain a high efficiency simulation algorithm, based on the sparse matrix technique, the augmentation algorithm and the direct projective constraint stabilization algorithm are improved. Finally, a numerical example is given. The results show that the model and the fast algorithm are valid and effective. This study lays a dynamic foundation for realizing the simulation platform of the educational robot.

文摘Dynamic casual modeling of functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI) signals is employed to explore critical emotional neurocircuitry under sad stimuli. The classification accuracy rate from the support vector machine(SVM) classifier is 80.73%, which, to some extent, validates the effectiveness of the regional connectivity parameters for depression recognition and provides a new approach for the clinical diagnosis of depression.
文摘The tangentially fired utility boiler furnace is divided into several sections. The dynamic mathematical models for each section are presented. In the combustion zone, three dimensional model is used, while for the upper sections, lumped parameter model is used instead. With the combination of different models, we can get detailed distributions of gas velocity, temperature, chemical species, heat flux, etc. in the furnace, but with less CPU time. The radiation through the interfaces of each section is cons...
文摘This paper investigates the problem of the model validation in identifying discrete-time-nonlinear dynamic systems by using neural networks with a single hidden layer.Based on the estimation theory,a synthetic error-index(SEI)criterion for the neural network models has been developed.By using the powerful training algorithm of recursive prediction error (RPE),two simulated non-linear systems are studied, and the results show that the synthetic error-index criterion can be used to verify the dynamic neural network models.Furthermore, the proposed technique is much simple in calculation than that of the effective correlation tests. Finally, some problems required by further study are discussed.

文摘PETREL, a winged hybrid-driven underwater glider is a novel and practical marine survey platform which combines the features of legacy underwater glider and conventional AUV (autonomous underwater vehicle). Moreover, the behaviors of motion in glide and thrust operation are analyzed based on the simulation and the feasibility of the dynamic model is validated by data from lake field trials.

文摘The Manas River Basin in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, similar to other arid regions, is facing water constraints which challenge decision-makers as to how to rationally allocate the available water resources to meet the demands from industries and natural ecosystems. Acknowledging the carrying capacity of water resources and eliminating a growth-orientated value system are crucial for the sustainability of the Manas River Basin.

文摘This paper combines grey model with time series model and then dynamic model for rapid and in-depth fault prediction in chemical processes. The case study demonstrates that the first method is more accurate for fault prediction.

文摘For consideration of both the eccentric rotatable rigid body and the translational rigid body, the dynamic model of the underwater glider is derived. Dynamical behaviors are also studied based on the model and can be used as the guidance to underwater gliders design. Gibbs function of the underwater glider system is derived first, and then the nonlinear dynamic model is obtained by use of Appell equations. The relationships between dynamic behaviors and design parameters are studied by solving the dynamic model. The spiral motion, swerving motion in three dimensions and the saw-tooth motion of the underwater glider in vertical plane are studied. Lake trials are carried out to validate the dynamic model.

文摘Aiming at handling complicated maneuvers or other unpredicted emergencies for hypersonic glide vehicle tracking, three coupled dynamic models of state estimation based on the priori information between guidance variables and aerodynamics are presented. Moreover, the guide model produces the best tracking performance and the bank model shows the second; however, the spiral model does not outperform the maneuvering reentry vehicle(MaRV) model markedly.
