Weighted Forwarding in Graph Convolution Networks for Recommendation Information Systems

Recommendation Information Systems(RIS)are pivotal in helping users in swiftly locating desired content from the vast amount of information available on the Internet.Graph Convolution Network(GCN)algorithms have been employed to implement the RIS efficiently.However,the GCN algorithm faces limitations in terms of performance enhancement owing to the due to the embedding value-vanishing problem that occurs during the learning process.To address this issue,we propose a Weighted Forwarding method using the GCN(WF-GCN)algorithm.The proposed method involves multiplying the embedding results with different weights for each hop layer during graph learning.By applying the WF-GCN algorithm,which adjusts weights for each hop layer before forwarding to the next,nodes with many neighbors achieve higher embedding values.This approach facilitates the learning of more hop layers within the GCN framework.The efficacy of the WF-GCN was demonstrated through its application to various datasets.In the MovieLens dataset,the implementation of WF-GCN in LightGCN resulted in significant performance improvements,with recall and NDCG increasing by up to+163.64%and+132.04%,respectively.Similarly,in the Last.FM dataset,LightGCN using WF-GCN enhanced with WF-GCN showed substantial improvements,with the recall and NDCG metrics rising by up to+174.40%and+169.95%,respectively.Furthermore,the application of WF-GCN to Self-supervised Graph Learning(SGL)and Simple Graph Contrastive Learning(SimGCL)also demonstrated notable enhancements in both recall and NDCG across these datasets. 展开更多

Under some appropriate assumptions on the curvature condition CDE’(n,0), the polynomial volume growth of degree m, the initial values, and the exponents in absorption terms, we prove that every non-negative solution of the semilinear parabolic system blows up in a finite time. Recent years have witnessed significant advances in utilizing machine learning-based techniques for thermal metamaterial-based structures and devices to attain favorable thermal transport behaviors.Among the various thermal transport behaviors,achieving thermal transparency stands out as particularly desirable and intriguing.Our earlier work demonstrated the use of a thermal metamaterial-based periodic interparticle system as the underlying structure for manipulating thermal transport behavior and achieving thermal transparency.In this paper,we introduce an approach based on graph neural network to address the complex inverse design problem of determining the design parameters for a thermal metamaterial-based periodic interparticle system with the desired thermal transport behavior.Our work demonstrates that combining graph neural network modeling and inference is an effective approach for solving inverse design problems associated with attaining desirable thermal transport behaviors using thermal metamaterials. 展开更多

The relationship between users and items,which cannot be recovered by traditional techniques,can be extracted by the recommendation algorithm based on the graph convolution network.The current simple linear combination of these algorithms may not be sufficient to extract the complex structure of user interaction data.This paper presents a new approach to address such issues,utilizing the graph convolution network to extract association relations.The proposed approach mainly includes three modules:Embedding layer,forward propagation layer,and score prediction layer.The embedding layer models users and items according to their interaction information and generates initial feature vectors as input for the forward propagation layer.The forward propagation layer designs two parallel graph convolution networks with self-connections,which extract higher-order association relevance from users and items separately by multi-layer graph convolution.Furthermore,the forward propagation layer integrates the attention factor to assign different weights among the hop neighbors of the graph convolution network fusion,capturing more comprehensive association relevance between users and items as input for the score prediction layer.The score prediction layer introduces MLP(multi-layer perceptron)to conduct non-linear feature interaction between users and items,respectively.Finally,the prediction score of users to items is obtained.The recall rate and normalized discounted cumulative gain were used as evaluation indexes.The proposed approach effectively integrates higher-order information in user entries,and experimental analysis demonstrates its superiority over the existing algorithms. 展开更多

In this paper, we propose a novel anomaly detection method for data centers based on a combination of graphstructure and abnormal attention mechanism. The method leverages the sensor monitoring data from targetpower substations to construct multidimensional time series. These time series are subsequently transformed intograph structures, and corresponding adjacency matrices are obtained. By incorporating the adjacency matricesand additional weights associated with the graph structure, an aggregation matrix is derived. The aggregationmatrix is then fed into a pre-trained graph convolutional neural network (GCN) to extract graph structure features.Moreover, both themultidimensional time series segments and the graph structure features are inputted into a pretrainedanomaly detectionmodel, resulting in corresponding anomaly detection results that help identify abnormaldata. The anomaly detection model consists of a multi-level encoder-decoder module, wherein each level includesa transformer encoder and decoder based on correlation differences. The attention module in the encoding layeradopts an abnormal attention module with a dual-branch structure. Experimental results demonstrate that ourproposed method significantly improves the accuracy and stability of anomaly detection. 展开更多

The collective Unmanned Weapon System-of-Systems(UWSOS)network represents a fundamental element in modern warfare,characterized by a diverse array of unmanned combat platforms interconnected through hetero-geneous network architectures.Despite its strategic importance,the UWSOS network is highly susceptible to hostile infiltrations,which significantly impede its battlefield recovery capabilities.Existing methods to enhance network resilience predominantly focus on basic graph relationships,neglecting the crucial higher-order dependencies among nodes necessary for capturing multi-hop meta-paths within the UWSOS.To address these limitations,we propose the Enhanced-Resilience Multi-Layer Attention Graph Convolutional Network(E-MAGCN),designed to augment the adaptability of UWSOS.Our approach employs BERT for extracting semantic insights from nodes and edges,thereby refining feature representations by leveraging various node and edge categories.Additionally,E-MAGCN integrates a regularization-based multi-layer attention mechanism and a semantic node fusion algo-rithm within the Graph Convolutional Network(GCN)framework.Through extensive simulation experiments,our model demonstrates an enhancement in resilience performance ranging from 1.2% to 7% over existing algorithms. 展开更多

With the development of unmanned driving technology,intelligent robots and drones,high-precision localization,navigation and state estimation technologies have also made great progress.Traditional global navigation satellite system/inertial navigation system(GNSS/INS)integrated navigation systems can provide high-precision navigation information continuously.However,when this system is applied to indoor or GNSS-denied environments,such as outdoor substations with strong electromagnetic interference and complex dense spaces,it is often unable to obtain high-precision GNSS positioning data.The positioning and orientation errors will diverge and accumulate rapidly,which cannot meet the high-precision localization requirements in large-scale and long-distance navigation scenarios.This paper proposes a method of high-precision state estimation with fusion of GNSS/INS/Vision using a nonlinear optimizer factor graph optimization as the basis for multi-source optimization.Through the collected experimental data and simulation results,this system shows good performance in the indoor environment and the environment with partial GNSS signal loss. 展开更多

In this paper,a new distributed consensus tracking protocol incorporating local disturbance rejection is devised for a multi-agent system with heterogeneous dynamic uncertainties and disturbances over a directed graph.It is of two-degree-of-freedom nature.Specifically,a robust distributed controller is designed for consensus tracking,while a local disturbance estimator is designed for each agent without requiring the input channel information of disturbances.The condition for asymptotic disturbance rejection is derived.Moreover,even when the disturbance model is not exactly known,the developed method also provides good disturbance-rejection performance.Then,a robust stabilization condition with less conservativeness is derived for the whole multi-agent system.Further,a design algorithm is given.Finally,comparisons with the conventional one-degree-of-freedombased distributed disturbance-rejection method for mismatched disturbances and the distributed extended-state observer for matched disturbances validate the developed method. 展开更多

Knowledge graph technology has distinct advantages in terms of fault diagnosis.In this study,the control rod drive mechanism(CRDM)of the liquid fuel thorium molten salt reactor(TMSR-LF1)was taken as the research object,and a fault diagnosis system was proposed based on knowledge graph.The subject–relation–object triples are defined based on CRDM unstructured data,including design specification,operation and maintenance manual,alarm list,and other forms of expert experience.In this study,we constructed a fault event ontology model to label the entity and relationship involved in the corpus of CRDM fault events.A three-layer robustly optimized bidirectional encoder representation from transformers(RBT3)pre-training approach combined with a text convolutional neural network(TextCNN)was introduced to facilitate the application of the constructed CRDM fault diagnosis graph database for fault query.The RBT3-TextCNN model along with the Jieba tool is proposed for extracting entities and recognizing the fault query intent simultaneously.Experiments on the dataset collected from TMSR-LF1 CRDM fault diagnosis unstructured data demonstrate that this model has the potential to improve the effect of intent recognition and entity extraction.Additionally,a fault alarm monitoring module was developed based on WebSocket protocol to deliver detailed information about the appeared fault to the operator automatically.Furthermore,the Bayesian inference method combined with the variable elimination algorithm was proposed to enable the development of a relatively intelligent and reliable fault diagnosis system.Finally,a CRDM fault diagnosis Web interface integrated with graph data visualization was constructed,making the CRDM fault diagnosis process intuitive and effective. 展开更多

This paper is concerned with bipartite consensus tracking for multi-agent systems with unknown disturbances.A barrier function-based adaptive sliding-mode control(SMC)approach is proposed such that the bipartite steady-state error is converged to a predefined region of zero in finite time.Specifically,based on an error auxiliary taking neighboring antagonistic interactions into account,an SMC law is designed with an adaptive gain.The gain can switch to a positive semi-definite barrier function to ensure that the error auxiliary is constrained to a predefined neighborhood of zero,which in turn guarantees practical bipartite consensus tracking.A distinguished feature of the proposed controller is its independence on the bound of disturbances,while the input chattering phenomenon is alleviated.Finally,a numerical example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed controller. 展开更多

With the rapid growth in the availability of digital health-related data,there is a great demand for the utilization of intelligent information systems within the healthcare sector.These systems can manage and manipulate this massive amount of health-related data and encourage different decision-making tasks.They can also provide various sustainable health services such as medical error reduction,diagnosis acceleration,and clinical services quality improvement.The intensive care unit(ICU)is one of the most important hospital units.However,there are limited rooms and resources in most hospitals.During times of seasonal diseases and pandemics,ICUs face high admission demand.In line with this increasing number of admissions,determining health risk levels has become an essential and imperative task.It creates a heightened demand for the implementation of an expert decision support system,enabling doctors to accurately and swiftly determine the risk level of patients.Therefore,this study proposes a fuzzy logic inference system built on domain-specific knowledge graphs,as a proof-of-concept,for tackling this healthcare-related issue.The system employs a combination of two sets of fuzzy input parameters to classify health risk levels of new admissions to hospitals.The proposed system implemented utilizes MATLAB Fuzzy Logic Toolbox via several experiments showing the validity of the proposed system. 展开更多

It is also important for the description of the spatial distribution of particles. In this work, we propose a new order parameter φ to quantify the degree of order in the spatial distribution of particles. The results show that the spatial distribution order parameter can effectively describe the transition from a disorderly moving phase to a phase with a coherent motion of the particle distribution and the same conclusion could be obtained for systems with different sizes. Furthermore, we develop a powerful molecular dynamic graph network(MDGNet) model to realize the long-term prediction of the self-propelled collective system solely from the initial particle positions and movement angles. Employing this model, we successfully predict the order parameters of the specified time step. And the model can also be applied to analyze other types of complex systems with local interactions. 展开更多

Toaddress these problems, we design a questionnaire to investigate which repository information developers focus onand propose a graph convolutional network-based repository recommendation system (GCNRec). First, to solveinsufficient information utilization in open-source communities, we construct a Developer-Repository networkusing four types of behavioral data that best reflect developers’ programming preferences and extract features ofdevelopers and repositories from the repository content that developers focus on. Then, we design a repositoryrecommendation model based on a multi-layer graph convolutional network to avoid the manual formulation ofscoringmetrics. Thismodel takes the Developer-Repository network, developer features and repository features asinputs, and recommends the top-k repositories that developers are most likely to be interested in by learning theirpreferences. We have verified the proposed GCNRec on the dataset, and by comparing it with other open-sourcerepository recommendation methods, GCNRec achieves higher precision and hit rate. 展开更多

Operation control of power systems has become challenging with an increase in the scale and complexity of power distribution systems and extensive access to renewable energy.Therefore,improvement of the ability of data-driven operation management,intelligent analysis,and mining is urgently required.To investigate and explore similar regularities of the historical operating section of the power distribution system and assist the power grid in obtaining high-value historical operation,maintenance experience,and knowledge by rule and line,a neural information retrieval model with an attention mechanism is proposed based on graph data computing technology.Based on the processing flow of the operating data of the power distribution system,a technical framework of neural information retrieval is established.Combined with the natural graph characteristics of the power distribution system,a unified graph data structure and a data fusion method of data access,data complement,and multi-source data are constructed.Further,a graph node feature-embedding representation learning algorithm and a neural information retrieval algorithm model are constructed.The neural information retrieval algorithm model is trained and tested using the generated graph node feature representation vector set.The model is verified on the operating section of the power distribution system of a provincial grid area.The results show that the proposed method demonstrates high accuracy in the similarity matching of historical operation characteristics and effectively supports intelligent fault diagnosis and elimination in power distribution systems. 展开更多

Blockchain merges technology with the Internet of Things(IoT)for addressing security and privacy-related issues.However,conventional blockchain suffers from scalability issues due to its linear structure,which increases the storage overhead,and Intrusion detection performed was limited with attack severity,leading to performance degradation.To overcome these issues,we proposed MZWB(Multi-Zone-Wise Blockchain)model.Initially,all the authenticated IoT nodes in the network ensure their legitimacy by using the Enhanced Blowfish Algorithm(EBA),considering several metrics.Then,the legitimately considered nodes for network construction for managing the network using Bayesian-Direct Acyclic Graph(B-DAG),which considers several metrics.The intrusion detection is performed based on two tiers.In the first tier,a Deep Convolution Neural Network(DCNN)analyzes the data packets by extracting packet flow features to classify the packets as normal,malicious,and suspicious.In the second tier,the suspicious packets are classified as normal or malicious using the Generative Adversarial Network(GAN).Finally,intrusion scenario performed reconstruction to reduce the severity of attacks in which Improved Monkey Optimization(IMO)is used for attack path discovery by considering several metrics,and the Graph cut utilized algorithm for attack scenario reconstruction(ASR).UNSW-NB15 and BoT-IoT utilized datasets for the MZWB method simulated using a Network simulator(NS-3.26).Compared with previous performance metrics such as energy consumption,storage overhead accuracy,response time,attack detection rate,precision,recall,and F-measure.The simulation result shows that the proposed MZWB method achieves high performance than existing works. 展开更多

Accurate traffic pattern prediction in largescale networks is of great importance for intelligent system management and automatic resource allocation.System-level mobile traffic forecasting has significant challenges due to the tremendous temporal and spatial dynamics introduced by diverse Internet user behaviors and frequent traffic migration.Spatialtemporal graph modeling is an efficient approach for analyzing the spatial relations and temporal trends of mobile traffic in a large system.Previous research may not reflect the optimal dependency by ignoring inter-base station dependency or pre-determining the explicit geological distance as the interrelationship of base stations.To overcome the limitations of graph structure,this study proposes an adaptive graph convolutional network(AGCN)that captures the latent spatial dependency by developing self-adaptive dependency matrices and acquires temporal dependency using recurrent neural networks.Evaluated on two mobile network datasets,the experimental results demonstrate that this method outperforms other baselines and reduces the mean absolute error by 3.7%and 5.6%compared to time-series based approaches. 展开更多

Accurate trajectory prediction of surrounding road users is the fundamental input for motion planning,which enables safe autonomous driving on public roads.In this paper,a safe motion planning approach is proposed based on the deep learning-based trajectory prediction method.To begin with,a trajectory prediction model is established based on the graph neural network(GNN)that is trained utilizing the INTERACTION dataset.Then,the validated trajectory prediction model is used to predict the future trajectories of surrounding road users,including pedestrians and vehicles.In addition,a GNN prediction model-enabled motion planner is developed based on the model predictive control technique.Furthermore,two driving scenarios are extracted from the INTERACTION dataset to validate and evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed motion planning approach,i.e.,merging and roundabout scenarios.The results demonstrate that the proposed method can lower the risk and improve driving safety compared with the baseline method. 展开更多
