The performance of different nonlinear modelling strategies to simulate the response of RC columns subjected to axial load combined with cyclic biaxial horizontal loading is compared. The models studied are classified into two categories according to the nonlinearity distribution assumed in the elements: lumped-plasticity and distributed inelasticity. For this study, results of tests on 24 columns subjected to cyclic uniaxial and biaxial lateral displacements were numerically reproduced. The analyses show that the global envelope response is satisfactorily represented with the three modelling strategies, but significant differences were found in the strength degradation for higher drift demands and energy dissipation. 展开更多

The performance of the FLPI controller was investigated and compared with that of the conventional PI/PID controller. The Cox proportional hazard model is being used extensively in oncology in studying the relationship between survival times and prognostic factors. The main question that needs to be addressed with respect to the applicability of the Cox PH model is whether the proportional hazard assumption is met. Failure to justify the subject assumption will lead to misleading results. In addition, identifying the correct functional form of the continuous covariates is an important aspect in the development of a Cox proportional hazard model. The purpose of this study is to develop an extended Cox regression model for breast cancer survival data which takes non-proportional hazards and non-linear effects that exist in prognostic factors into consideration. Non-proportional hazards and non-linear effects are detected using methods based on residuals. An extended Cox model with non-linear effects and time-varying effects is proposed to adjust the Cox proportional hazard model. Age and tumor size were found to have nonlinear effects. Progesterone receptor assay status and age violated the proportional hazard assumption in the Cox model. Quadratic effect of age and progesterone receptor assay status had hazard ratio that changes with time. We have introduced a statistical model to overcome the presence of the proportional hazard assumption violation for the Cox proportional hazard model for breast cancer data. The proposed extended model considers the time varying nature of the hazard ratio and non-linear effects of the covariates. Our improved Cox model gives a better insight on the hazard rates associated with the breast cancer risk factors. 展开更多

Aiming at the difficulty of accurately constructing the dynamic model of subtropical high, based on the potential height field time series over 500 hPa layer of T106 numerical forecast products, by using EOF(empirical orthogonal function) temporal-spatial separation technique, the disassembled EOF time coefficients series were regarded as dynamical model variables, and dynamic system retrieval idea as well as genetic algorithm were introduced to make dynamical model parameters optimization search, then, a reasonable non-linear dynamic model of EOF time-coefficients was established. By dynamic model integral and EOF temporal-spatial components assembly, a mid-/long-term forecast of subtropical high was carried out. The experimental results show that the forecast results of dynamic model are superior to that of general numerical model forecast results. A new modeling idea and forecast technique is presented for diagnosing and forecasting such complicated weathers as subtropical high. 展开更多

The model consists of two coupled, deterministic differential equations allowing for cell reproduction and death, and cell infection. The model is one of the conceptual mathematical models of tumor growth that treat a tumor as a dynamic society of interacting cells. In this paper, we obtain an approximate analytical expression of uninfected and infected cell population by solving the non-linear equations using Homotopy analysis method (HAM). Furthermore, the results are compared with the numerical simulation of the problem using Matlab program. The obtained results are valid for the whole solution domain. 展开更多

A time slotted transmission pattern is considered. Each slot can be divided into two phases, downlink(DL) WET and uplink(UL) wireless information transmission(WIT). Since energy conversion efficiency of the energy harvesting circuits are non.linear, the conventional linear model leads to a mismatch for resource allocation. In this paper, the power allocation algorithm considering the practical non.linear energy harvesting circuits is studied. The optimization problem is formulated to maximize the energy efficiency of system with multiple constraints, i.e., the transmission power, the received power and the minimum harvested energy, which is a non.convex problem. We transform the objective function from fractional form into an equivalent objective function in subtractive form and provide an iterative power allocation algorithm to achieve the optimal solution. Numerical results show that our proposed algorithm with the non.linear RF energy conversion models can achieve much better performance than the algorithm with the conventional linear model. 展开更多

Voice conversion algorithm aims to provide high level of similarity to the target voice with an acceptable level of quality.The main object of this paper was to build a nonlinear relationship between the parameters for the acoustical features of source and target speaker using Non-Linear Canonical Correlation Analysis(NLCCA) based on jointed Gaussian mixture model.Speaker indi-viduality transformation was achieved mainly by altering vocal tract characteristics represented by Line Spectral Frequencies(LSF).To obtain the transformed speech which sounded more like the target voices,prosody modification is involved through residual prediction.Both objective and subjective evaluations were conducted.The experimental results demonstrated that our proposed algorithm was effective and outperformed the conventional conversion method utilized by the Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE) estimation. 展开更多

An iterative algorithm for modeling of non-linear joint by the displacement discontinuity method (DDM) was described, and the effect of the non-linear joint on the in-situ stress field was investigated in this paper. The Barton-Bandis (BB) non-linear joint model and failure criterion were adopted in the new DDM program. Using this program, the stress field around the non-linear joint was obtained, the parameters analysis of the joint was carried out, and the deformation and stress distribution of the joint were studied. The simulation results show that: (1)the in-situ stress is significantly affected by the joint; (2)the increase of stiffness, friction angle, and thickness of the joint affect the stress concentration in different ways; (3)the influence distance of the joint changes with the angle of the joint; (4)the deformation and stress of the joint change with the point position. 展开更多

Approximate analytical me-thod (He’s Homotopy perturbation method) is used to solve the coupled non-linear differential equations containing a non-linear term related to enzymatic reaction. Closed analytical expres-sions for substrate concentration, enzyme sub-strate concentration and product concentration have been derived in terms of dimensionless reaction diffusion parameters k, and us-ing perturbation method. These results are compared with simulation results and are found to be in good agreement. The obtained results are valid for the whole solution domain. 展开更多

A variational formulation of the synthesis problem for plane radiating systems according to the prescribed power directivity pattern (DP) is considered. The function representing the mean-square deviation of the prescribed and synthesized power DPs and containing the additional term with squared norm of the current or field in the antenna aperture is considered as the criterion of optimization. Freedom to choose the phase DP is used to improve the proximity of the prescribed and synthesized DPs. In such formulation, the classes of non-linear problems, for which the non-uniqueness of solutions, their branching and bifurcation are characteristic, arise. The properties of solutions depend on the electric size of radiating system and prescribed power DP. From a practical point of view, the existence of different solutions creating the same or similar DPs, gives the opportunity to choose the solution that has a simpler implementation. The aim of this paper is to design a memoryless non-fragile state feedback control law such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable for all admissible parameter uncertainties and controller gain variations. A new linear matrix inequality (LMI) based sufficient condition for the existence of such controllers is established. As to deal with high dimension of the vector of unknown parameters, the regularization is introduced by specifying a priori non-negative covariance structure for the vector of estimated parameters. 数字普惠金融能够缓解农村金融困境,成为巩固脱贫攻坚成果、实现共同富裕的重要方式。基于2013—2022年中国280个地市级面板数据,实证检验了数字普惠金融对共同富裕的影响机制、非线性关系及空间溢出效应。研究表明,我国区域间共同富裕... 数字普惠金融能够缓解农村金融困境,成为巩固脱贫攻坚成果、实现共同富裕的重要方式。基于2013—2022年中国280个地市级面板数据,实证检验了数字普惠金融对共同富裕的影响机制、非线性关系及空间溢出效应。研究表明,我国区域间共同富裕水平呈显著的空间正相关性,且样本考察期内集聚模式未发生显著变化,具有显著的空间集聚性;机制分析表明,数字普惠金融对共同富裕具有显著正向作用,农民增收在数字普惠金融与共同富裕关系中发挥中介作用;数字普惠金融的积极影响存在“边际效应”非线性递增,且农民增收能够调节数字普惠金融的非线性溢出效应;数字普惠金融对共同富裕的积极影响具有空间溢出特点,且呈“东部>中部>西部”区域异质性。通过推动数字普惠金融优先发展、努力促进区域协调发展以及充分带动农民增收,能够加快实现共同富裕。 展开更多

探索了使用传感器阵列和LightGBM-SR模型的危化品泄露监测方法,采用多个传感器实时获取危化品监测数据,并且采用非线性随机共振(stochastic resonance,SR)模型对监测数据调整获取特征信息。选取ExtraTrees、XGBoost、KNN和LightGBM模型... 探索了使用传感器阵列和LightGBM-SR模型的危化品泄露监测方法,采用多个传感器实时获取危化品监测数据,并且采用非线性随机共振(stochastic resonance,SR)模型对监测数据调整获取特征信息。选取ExtraTrees、XGBoost、KNN和LightGBM模型作为研究对照模型,分别使用传感器阵列原始数据和SR调理数据对四种模型进行自主学习拟合,然后对测试集数据进行回归预测。研究结果证明未经非线性模型调理的原始传感器阵列监测数据与四种模型的匹配度有所不足。数据经非线性SR算法处理后代入训练,LightGBM-SR模型准确率由LightGBM模型的78.75%提升至98.34%,ExtraTrees-SR稳定性最佳但实际依然存在用时较长,XGBoost-SR和KNN-SR泛化能力与稳定性良好,但是平均准确率不高。LightGBM-SR模型展现了较高的平均准确率,更适合危化品泄露监测的应用场景。 展开更多

现有碎石桩复合地基固结理论通常基于等应变假设,与工程实际情况有出入。基于分段线性差分法,建立了一种考虑非等应变刺入修正和任意桩土非线性本构关系的碎石桩复合地基非线性固结模型。该模型可以考虑桩土自重、涂抹区、井阻效应和变... 现有碎石桩复合地基固结理论通常基于等应变假设,与工程实际情况有出入。基于分段线性差分法,建立了一种考虑非等应变刺入修正和任意桩土非线性本构关系的碎石桩复合地基非线性固结模型。该模型可以考虑桩土自重、涂抹区、井阻效应和变荷载,可以计算碎石桩向垫层或下卧层的刺入并对等应变假设进行修正,可以分析桩土附加应力沿深度方向的衰减,以及任意的非线性压缩性及渗透性关系。与工程实测数据对比发现,考虑非等应变修正的模型计算值与工程实测值基本吻合。结合算例分析,进一步研究了垫层及下卧层模量、桩土竖向应力衰减和应力路径对碎石桩复合地基土体固结特性的影响,结果表明:碎石桩向垫层或下卧层刺入使复合地基桩土应力比减小、沉降量增大、固结速率减缓;忽略桩土竖向应力衰减虽对固结速率影响不大,但会高估复合地基沉降变形;不同应力路径对碎石桩复合地基固结特性影响显著,简化的土层压缩性关系将对分析结果带来较大误差。 展开更多

地化录井受工程、地质条件及人为因素的影响,往往造成岩石样品从井底到地表的烃类损失,不能很好地反映地下储层的真实含油气信息,因此需要一种合理准确的方法进行烃类损失恢复。针对渤海海域不同地区不同层位的岩屑值(自变量)与壁心值(... 地化录井受工程、地质条件及人为因素的影响,往往造成岩石样品从井底到地表的烃类损失,不能很好地反映地下储层的真实含油气信息,因此需要一种合理准确的方法进行烃类损失恢复。针对渤海海域不同地区不同层位的岩屑值(自变量)与壁心值(因变量)之间的关系,基于最小二乘法、梯度下降法及其衍生算法,以多元线性回归和非线性回归两种方式来拟合研究区井壁取心数据。多元线性回归模型可使用标准方程法、岭回归、LASSO(Least Absolute Shrinkage and Selection Operator)及弹性网进行回归拟合,非线性回归模型可使用梯度下降法和分段函数的拟合方法。对不同回归分析方法进行分析对比可知,岭回归在计算线性关系的烃类损失方面具有较好的效果,决定系数r^(2)均超过0.7;基于岭回归分段函数拟合和非线性回归模型y=x/(b+kx)适合非线性烃类损失恢复。与传统的烃类损失恢复方法相比,使用量化的方式对研究区烃类进行恢复,更加科学全面,具有广泛的应用前景。 展开更多

目的考虑聚氨酯材料非线性的影响,建立一种简单高效的柔性立管限弯器设计方法。方法首先确定限弯器的初始尺寸,在此基础上进行参数分析,并根据分析结果绘制设计图谱,然后通过插值获得最佳的设计尺寸。结果针对深水与浅水2种典型环境,分... 目的考虑聚氨酯材料非线性的影响,建立一种简单高效的柔性立管限弯器设计方法。方法首先确定限弯器的初始尺寸,在此基础上进行参数分析,并根据分析结果绘制设计图谱,然后通过插值获得最佳的设计尺寸。结果针对深水与浅水2种典型环境,分别采用本方法与基于遗传算法的优化设计方法进行限弯器设计,通过结果对比验证了方法的有效性。同时发现,深水环境条件设计出的限弯器相对短粗,而浅水条件设计出的限弯器则较为细长,且考虑材料非线性后,2种环境下限弯器的设计尺寸均有所减小。结论本文建立的限弯器设计方法具有广泛的适用性,且能够在确保得到理想设计方案的前提下,显著提高设计效率。与基于遗传算法的优化设计方法相比,采用线性材料和考虑材料非线性时的设计效率可分别提高约10倍和20倍。 展开更多
