Practical Research on Green Complex with Industrial Heritage as the Core

In the context of ecological civilization construction in the new era,the development of highquality cities places more emphasis on resource integration and multi-party coordination.The exploration of the concept of green complex has proposed a new path for urban double repair and urban renewal.The green complex centered on industrial heritage has achieved the combination of industrial heritage activation and utilization with natural ecosystem restoration,which is of great significance for sustainable and healthy urban development.Based on the landscape design of the main exhibition area of the 11th Jiangsu Garden Expo,the application of green complex in industrial heritage protection is explored.By integrating industrial heritage relics,green activity spaces,urban public resources,and natural environment in the form of green complex,it promotes the coordinated development of various functions and creates a new type of green inclusive city.

Practical Research on Online and Offline Teaching-Taking Baoshan University in Yunnan Province as an Example

Online teaching has both opportunities and challenges.The main issues that are emphasized in this study is on how to grasp and adapt to the situation,strengthen training and policy incentives,establish quality assurance supervision and inspection as well as linkage mechanism,and actively explore the reform mode.From the perspective of management,taking Baoshan University in Yunnan Province as an example,this article summarizes the practical experience of online teaching,analyzes the shortcomings of online teaching,explores the online and offline hybrid teaching,and promotes local colleges to refomi their teaching mode.

Research on Practical Education of Speciality Teachers in Vocational Colleges to Promote Curriculum-based Ideological and Political Education

Curriculum-based ideological and political education is the inevitable requirement of constructing the pattern of ideological and political education in the new era.As the main leader and implementer of curriculum-based ideological and political education in vocational colleges,speciality teachers should take the fundamental task of moral education as the guidance,focus on it through curriculum,promote the organic unity of knowledge teaching,skill improvement and value guidance in the teaching process,and finally form a new ideological and political work mode in line with the requirements of“high-level vocational college and speciality”construction.At present,speciality teachers in vocational colleges have some problems in curriculum-based ideological and political education,which is mainly reflected in some speciality teachers’weak self-consciousness,poor understanding and integration ability.In order to effectively solve the problem,they have to establish the curriculum-based ideological and political education promotion mechanism led by the college Party committee,consolidate the institutional guarantee for speciality teachers in moral education,strengthen their consciousness and awareness,innovate and improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism of their dedicated education.

Research on the Teaching Reform and Practice of the Food Analysis Course Under the New Situation

With the development of society,the overall development of various industries in our country is unprecedentedly prosperous.However,various damaging industries with the sole goal of profit have emerged,significantly reducing people’s experience in basic needs such as food,clothing,housing,and transportation.Food analysis course is an essential primary subject established by colleges and universities to cultivate food quality and safety talents.In order to further ensure the food safety of society,this article mainly analyzes the teaching reform path of food analysis courses under the new situation.We hope the views in this article can provide guidelines for relevant workers.

Emerging Research Efficacy Through Scaffolded Research Practice: An EFL Preservice Teacher Autobiographical Narrative

EFL preservice teachers ’ research efficacy, as perceived competence to perform tasks in research, is crucial to their research engagement. This autobiographical narrative inquiry investigates the contribution of scaffolded research practice to a female EFL preservice teacher ’s research efficacy.The data were collected through conversations, notes, journals, and portfolios. The findings suggest that teacher research efficacy was pliable through scaffolded research practice. It emerged gradually over time, in different places with social and personal interaction. The factors contributing to the emerging research efficacy were: teacher educators ’ support, peers ’ support,and research participation. The study sheds light on teacher educators and EFL preservice teachers,with the intention of establishing an inquiry-based pedagogy for M.Ed. programs.

Evaluation of District-Based Indigenous Farmers’ and Researchers’ Fertilizer Application for Optimal Maize Production

Most research-based fertilizer inputs proposed for small scale farmers to increase their productivity do not achieve the required results and should consider indigenous practices. This study evaluates the practices of nutrient fertilizer input by farmers and researchers and relates them to their corresponding yields and profit so as to establish the appropriateness of the practices in 13 districts of the Northern regions of Ghana. Soil nutrients assessment of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K) contents used to evaluate the soil NPK status was based on previous studies. Data on fertilizer application by farmers and researchers were obtained from the Savanna Agricultural Research Institute (SARI). The amount of N, P and K fertilizer input in 13 Districts and its associated maize grain yields by both farmers (89) and researchers were calculated and compared using two-sample t-test. The t-test results indicated that average amount of fertilizer input by researchers was significantly (p < 0.05) higher than the average amount of fertilizer input by the smallholder farmers, but the high fertilizer input did not significantly (p = 0.74) increase researchers’ maize yields and profits in all 13 study districts grouped together, but there was maize increment in only eight districts. On the average, farmers from five districts applied low fertilizer and recorded low yields. However, when researchers increased quantities of fertilizer applied in these five districts, yield significantly (p < 0.05) increased. The outcome showed that smallholder farmers in these five districts could increase maize yields by 36% in the region should they adopt the maize production strategy by the researchers. The study concluded that, for best options, recommended fertilizer doses to enhance maize yields should consider district-specific farmers’ practices and soil NPK status. The study could enable better implementation of location-based nutrient recommendation in the Northern Region of Ghana.

Research and Implementation of the Practical Texture Synthesis Algorithms

How to generate pictures real and esthetic objects is an important subject of computer graphics. The techniques of mapping textures onto the surfaces of an object in the 3D space are efficient ap- proaches for the purpose.We developed and implemented algorithms for generating objects with appear ances stone,wood grain,ice lattice,brick,doors and windows on Apollo workstations. All the algorithms have been incorporated into the 3D geometry modelling system(GEMS)developed by the CAD Center of Tsinghua University.This paper emphasizes the wood grain and the ice lattice algorithms.

Quality Assessment of Clinical Practice Guidelines for Integrative Medicine in China:A Systematic Review

Objective： To assess the quality of integrative medicine clinical practice guidelines（CPGs） published before 2014. Methods： A systematic search of the scientific literature published before 2014 was conducted to select integrative medicine CPGs. Four major Chinese integrated databases and one guideline database were searched： the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database（CBM）, the China National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）, China Science and Technology Journal Database（VIP）, Wanfang Data, and the China Guideline Clearinghouse（CGC）. Four reviewers independently assessed the quality of the included guidelines using the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation（AGREE） Ⅱ Instrument. Overall consensus among the reviewers was assessed using the intra-class correlation coefficient（ICC）. Results： A total of 41 guidelines published from 2003 to 2014 were included. The overall consensus among the reviewers was good [ICC： 0.928; 95% confidence interval（CI）： 0.920 to 0.935]. The scores on the 6 AGREE domains were： 17% for scope and purpose（range： 6% to 32%）, 11% for stakeholder involvement（range： 0 to 24%）, 10% for rigor of development（range： 3% to 22%）, 39% for clarity and presentation（range： 25% to 64%）, 11% for applicability（range： 4% to 24%）, and 1% for editorial independence（range： 0 to 15%）. Conclusions： The quality of integrative medicine CPGs was low, the development of integrative medicine CPGs should be guided by systematic methodology. More emphasis should be placed on multi-disciplinary guideline development groups, quality of evidence, management of funding and conflicts of interest, and guideline updates in the process of developing integrative medicine CPGs in China.
