The hyperbola model, a nonlinear load transfer function, was introduced to establish t...To study calculating method of settlement on top of extra-long large-diameter pile, the relevant research results were summarized. The hyperbola model, a nonlinear load transfer function, was introduced to establish the basic differential equation with load transfer method. Assumed that the displacement of pile shaft was the high order power series of buried depth, through merging the same orthometric items and arranging the relevant coefficients, the solution which could take the nonlinear pile-soil interaction and stratum properties of soil into account was solved by power series. On the basis of the solution, by determining the load transfer depth with criterion of settlement on pile tip, the method by making boundary conditions compatible was advised to solve the load-settlement curve of pile. The relevant flow chart and mathematic expressions of boundary conditions were also listed. Lastly, the load transfer methods based on both two-broken-line model and hyperbola model were applied to analyzing a real project. The related coefficients of fitting curves by hyperbola were not less than 0.96, which shows that the hyperbola model is truthfulness, and is propitious to avoid personal error. The calculating value of load-settlement curve agrees well with the measured one, which indicates that it can be applied in engineering practice and making the theory that limits the design bearing capacity by settlement on pile top comes true.展开更多

For successful concrete track construction and operation in earthwork areas, the residual settlement should be reasonably controlled by using an appro- priate method. The maintenance for excessive settlement is very difficult on the operating line because the maintenance method is very restrictive. The objective of this study is to introduce pressurized rapid-hardening cement grouting (PRCG) method to restore a subsided concrete track without any adverse effects on train operation. This method involves the use of special types of materials (very quick hardening and middle-hardening mortar), compact grouting equipment, and a special construction process. In spite of the extremely restrictive environment, this method has been demonstrated to be very effective and reasonable through laboratory and field tests.展开更多

As an example, soil structure collapse caused by moisture increment or rising underground water level results in huge settlements. This type of problematic soil, named collapsible soil, can cause dramatic problems and should be amended where exists. Today, the use of different techniques for soil reinforcement and soil improvement is widely used to treat soil properties. One of these methods is Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) method. This method becomes more important in the cases of studying and examining collapsible soils. In this research, the settlement of amended collapsible soils, applying deep soil mixing method, is examined. The experiments show that soil amendment using this method, well prevents the settlement of collapsible soils giving rise to bearing capacity.展开更多

文摘煤矿长时间开采会导致上覆岩层在重力因素下产生刚性弯曲、断裂等,进而造成一系列安全隐患。如何高效地对煤矿区进行地表形变监测,对煤矿安全、自然生态有着十分重要的意义。文章结合小基线集干涉测量(small baseline subset InSAR,SBAS-InSAR)技术与瞬变电磁测深法对煤矿区进行沉降监测。此外,采用标准差椭圆分析了沉降体空间形变规律与特征,利用长短时记忆网络(long short term memory network,LSTM)模型预测了沉降体形变趋势。分析结果表明:通过瞬变电磁法与干涉测量结合,地表形变范围基本与瞬变电磁反演的采空区吻合,标准差椭圆分析出形变中心向西南方移动376 m,沉降形态也在向似圆状过渡;LSTM模型可以预测两个月的形变,误差为2 mm,可以实现煤矿区形变趋势的短期预测。
