Clinical features and possible pathogenesis of multiple evanescent white dot syndrome with different retinal diseases and events:a narrative review

●Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome(MEWDS)is a rare fundus disease,characterized by acute vision loss and visual field defects.Many previous studies have explained the possible pathogenesis and clinical features ... ●Multiple evanescent white dot syndrome(MEWDS)is a rare fundus disease,characterized by acute vision loss and visual field defects.Many previous studies have explained the possible pathogenesis and clinical features of primary MEWDS.However,as the number of reported cases increases,secondary MEWDS occurs in other related retinal diseases and injuries,exhibiting some special characteristics.The associated retinal diseases include multifocal choroiditis/punctate inner choroidopathy(MFC/PIC),acute zonal occult outer retinopathy,best vitelliform macular dystrophy,pseudoxanthoma elasticum,and ocular toxoplasmosis.The related retinal injury is laser photocoagulation,surgery,and trauma.Although primary MEWDS often have a self-limiting course,secondary MEWDS may require treatment in some cases,according to the severity of concomitant diseases and complications.Notably,MEWDS secondary to MFC/PIC that is prone to forming choroidal neovascularization and focal choroidal excavation,needs positive treatment with corticosteroids.The possible underlying pathogenesis of secondary MEWDS is the exposure of choroidal antigen after the disruption of Bruch’s membrane.The MEWDS-related features in secondary MEWDS are still evanescent under most circumstances.Its prognosis and treatment depend on the severity of complications.Current studies propose that the etiology is associated with immune factors,including viral infection,inflammation in choroid and Bruch’s membrane,and antigen exposure caused by retinal and/or choroidal insults.More pathogenic studies should be conducted in the future.Accurate diagnosis for secondary MEWDS could benefit patients in aspects of management and prognosis. 展开更多

Choroidal neovascularization as the initial manifestation of multiple evanescent white dot syndrome

To report the case of a patient who presented with idiopathic choroidal neovascularization(CNV)as the first sign of multiple evanescent white dot syndrome(MEWDS).A 25-year-old woman presented with recent onset of decreased vision and metamorphopsia in the right eye.The results of fundoscopic examination,fluorescein angiography,and optical coherence tomography(OCT) were compatible with a diagnosis of idiopathic CNV,which was treated with one intravitreal injection of bevacizumab.Five years later,the patient returned complaining of photopsia and decreased vision in the same eye.The fundoscopic examination showed typical signs of MEWDS.After 3 months,recurrence of CNV was observed in the same eye.In conclusion,idiopathic CNV might be the only manifestation of a subclinical occurrence of MEWDS.In this case,it was followed by a recurrence of MEWDS and subsequent reactivation of CNV. 展开更多

Purpose: To study the clinicopathological change on "Multiple Evanescent White-dot Syndrome (MEWDS)"through fundus angiogrphy analyses.Methods:Examing the case with fluorescein angiography (FFA) and indocyanine green angiography(ICGA), visual field and following up for 15 months.Results :There exist multiple white dots in the fundus photo and angiography. The changes on ICGA maintain longer than fundus photo and FFA. Papille may be edematous and macula could present with special hypofluorescent flecks.Conclusions:MEWDS has specific angiographic features. Its pathological changes involve deep retinal pigment epithelium(RPE) as well as choroidal capillaries. The prognosis of the visual acuity for MEWDS is very good. 展开更多

Hybrid white micro-pillar structure light emitting diodes(LEDs)have been manufacture utilizing blue micro-LEDs arrays integrated with 580 nm CIS((CuInS2-ZnS)/ZnS)core/shell quantum dots.The fabricated hybrid white micro-LEDs have good electrical properties,which are manifested in relatively low turn-on voltage and reverse leakage current.High-quality hybrid white light emission has been demonstrated by the hybrid white micro-LEDs after a systemic optimization,in which the corresponding color coordinates are calculated to be(0.3303,0.3501)and the calculated color temperature is 5596 K.This result indicates an effective way to achieve high-performance white LEDs and shows great promise in a large range of applications in the future including micro-displays,bioinstrumentation and visible light communication. 展开更多

A bright white quantum dot light-emitting device (white-QLED) with 4-[4-(1-phenyl-lH-benzo[d]imidazol-2- yl)phenyl]-2- [3-(tri-phenylen-2-yl)phen-3-yl]quinazoline deposited on a thin film of mixed green/red-QDs as a bilayer emitter is fabricated. The optimized white-QLED exhibits a turn-on voltage of 3.2 V and a maximum brightness of 3660 cd/m2 @8 V with the Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) chromaticity in the region of white light. The ultra-thin layer of QDs is proved to be critical for the white light generation in the devices. Excitation mechanism in the white-QLEDs is investigated by the detailed analyses of electroluminescence (EL) spectral and the fluorescence lifetime of QDs. The results show that charge injection is a dominant mechanism of excitation in the white-QLED. 展开更多

We make a rigorous exploration of the profiles of a few diagonal and off-diagonal components of linear (αxx, αyy, αxy andαyx), first nonlinear (βxxx, βyyy, βxyy andβyxx), and second nonlinear (γxxxx, γyyyy, γxxyyandγyyxx) polarizabilities of quantum dots under the influence of external pulsed field. Simultaneous presence of additive white noise has also been considered. The quantum dot contains dopant described by a Gaussian potential. The numbers of pulse and the dopant location have been found to fabricate the said profiles jointly. The β components display greater complexity in their profiles in comparison with the α and γ counterparts. The presence of noise prominently enhances the influence of dopant coordinate on the polarizability profiles, particularly for α and γ components. However, for β components, the said influence becomes quite evident both in the presence and absence of additive noise. The study reveals some means of achieving stable, enhanced, and often maximized output of noise-driven linear and nonlinear polarizabilities. 展开更多

目的:观察新冠肺炎(COVID-19)相关视网膜病变患眼的多模式影像特征,探讨相关发病危险因素,并分析治疗和预后结果。方法:选取2022-12-13/2023-01-13在天津医科大学总医院确诊的COVID-19相关视网膜病变患者7例7眼。纳入患者均行眼底彩照... 目的:观察新冠肺炎(COVID-19)相关视网膜病变患眼的多模式影像特征,探讨相关发病危险因素,并分析治疗和预后结果。方法:选取2022-12-13/2023-01-13在天津医科大学总医院确诊的COVID-19相关视网膜病变患者7例7眼。纳入患者均行眼底彩照、红外眼底照相(IR)、频域光相干断层扫描(SD-OCT)、眼底自发荧光(FAF)等眼科检查和血清学检查。结果:纳入患者中,视网膜中央静脉阻塞(CRVO)2例2眼表现与既往CRVO不同,患者均为青年,视网膜出血呈中心白点状的类圆形、梭形出血斑,其中1例1眼半侧视网膜静脉阻塞(HRVO)患者血管性血友病因子抗原(vWF:Ag)水平升高(161.8%),另1例1眼CRVO患者狼疮抗凝物试验(+);多发性一过性白点综合征(MEWDS)2例2眼,FAF示后极部散在圆点样高自发荧光,给予激素治疗后预后良好;急性黄斑神经视网膜病变(AMN)3例3眼,IR示黄斑旁边界清楚的低反射病灶,SD-OCT示外核层(ONL)、外界膜(ELM)高信号,EZ/IZ信号断裂,预后良好。结论:COVID-19可能引发炎症风暴,累及视网膜各层组织及血管,导致视网膜多种病变的发生,激素治疗可能有效,多预后良好,其中CRVO眼底出血可见Roth斑,狼疮抗凝物和vWF:Ag增高可能是COVID-19后易发CRVO的危险因素。 展开更多

本文用5×2孔的白色聚氯乙烯板(白色PVC)作载体,研制、建立的诊断华支睾吸虫病的白色PVC-Fast-Dot-ELISA试剂盒,检测华支睾吸虫病人血清610份和其它奇生虫病及健康人血清764份,敏感性为97.9%,特异性为97.2%,交叉反应0-7.7%,平均... 本文用5×2孔的白色聚氯乙烯板(白色PVC)作载体,研制、建立的诊断华支睾吸虫病的白色PVC-Fast-Dot-ELISA试剂盒,检测华支睾吸虫病人血清610份和其它奇生虫病及健康人血清764份,敏感性为97.9%,特异性为97.2%,交叉反应0-7.7%,平均3.5%。试剂盒与NC-Dot-ELISA和PS-ELISA比较,敏感性、特异性均无显著差异。试剂盒稳定性良好。现场应用显示,与粪检的阳性符合率为97.6%,总符合率随粪检方法及检查次数不同而升高。本试剂盒的特点是:试验载体和试验容器合一,孔浅而大,易于洗净,操作方便,快速,全程只需30min,适用于基层群体查病及临床快速检测。 展开更多

目的探讨二氧化碳点阵激光联合他克莫司软膏治疗白癜风的效果。方法选取濮阳市安阳地区医院于2020年1月至2022年10月期间收治的白癜风患者84例,按照随机数字表法分为对照组(n=42)和观察组(n=42)。对照组予以他克莫司软膏进行治疗,观察... 目的探讨二氧化碳点阵激光联合他克莫司软膏治疗白癜风的效果。方法选取濮阳市安阳地区医院于2020年1月至2022年10月期间收治的白癜风患者84例,按照随机数字表法分为对照组(n=42)和观察组(n=42)。对照组予以他克莫司软膏进行治疗,观察组在对照组治疗基础上联合二氧化碳点阵激光进行治疗。比较两组患者疗效、白斑复色时间、心理状态及满意度。结果两组疗效相比,观察组疗效优于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);两组白斑复色时间相比,观察组复色时间更短,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗前,两组患者抑郁自评量表(SDS)评分及焦虑自评量表(SAS)评分相比,差异无统计学意义(P>0.05);治疗后,两组SDS评分及SAS评分均降低,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后,观察组SDS评分及SAS评分低于对照组,心理状态更好,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。观察组满意度高于对照组,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论二氧化碳点阵激光联合他克莫司软膏治疗白癜风,可提高患者的临床疗效,缩短白斑复色时间,且能缓解患者负面情绪,提高患者满意度。 展开更多

Optoelectronic applications require the development of new fluorescent and efficient luminescent materials, free of toxicity, low in cost, and easy to produce. In this way the synthesis of zinc-oxide (ZnO) quantum dots (QDs) has recently received special attention due to their good optical, electrical and chemical properties with low production costs and blue light emission. In this work ZnO QDs were successfully doped with europium in order to obtain a tunable emission luminescence from blue emission of ZnO to red emission of europium as a function of wavelength excitation. Results show an efficient blue to red tuning when the excitation wavelength was changed from 317 nm to 395 nm, respectively. This opens the possibility of having new optical devices to produce different color emission using the same material. 展开更多

A rebuilt vector pCANTAB 5 EE was obtained by inserting a 34 bp double-stranded oligonucleotide which contained a EcoRV recognition sequence into pCANTAB 5 E. White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) genome DNA was fragmented by sonication to isolate fragments mainly in the range of 0.8 ~2.0 kb, then the fragments were blunt-ended with T4 DNA polymerase and cloned into the EcoRV site of pCANTAB 5 EE. The primary recombinant clone of the library was 3.0 × 10^5.Colony PCR of random selected recombinants showed that the size of the inserts was 0.12 ~ 1.77 kb. After the whole library recombinant phages infected Escherichia coli HB2151 cells, the extracellular and periplasmic extracts were dropped on PVDF membranes to perform dot blot, using polyclonal mouse anti-VP24 serum,anti-WSV026 serum,anti-WSV063 serum,anti-WSV069 serum,anti-WSV112 serum, anti WSV238 serum,anti-WSV303 serum and anti-VP26 serum as the primary antibody, respectively. 荧光碳量子点是一种新型的、有前途的光致发光纳米材料。由于其多样的理化性质和独特的光学特性,低成本、生态友好、丰富的功能基团等优势,在生物成像、光电器件、光催化、离子检测、靶向药物输运等领域有广阔的应用前景。发光二极管(L... 荧光碳量子点是一种新型的、有前途的光致发光纳米材料。由于其多样的理化性质和独特的光学特性,低成本、生态友好、丰富的功能基团等优势,在生物成像、光电器件、光催化、离子检测、靶向药物输运等领域有广阔的应用前景。发光二极管(LED)多年来一直是学术研究的热点,广泛应用于液晶显示、全彩显示和日常照明设备中。许多荧光材料已经被应用于LED的研制;纳米荧光碳量子点因其具有荧光发射波长可调、发光性能稳定、环境友好、原材料丰富、成本低廉等优点在光电器件方面有着极大的应用前景。但目前碳量子点的可控制备依然是个挑战,大多数碳量子点的荧光发射波长主要集中在蓝、绿光波段,且量子产率偏低,限制了碳量子点在该领域的发展。因此,合成覆盖全光谱的荧光碳量子点并简单分析其发光机理可以极大地推动碳量子点在白光LED领域的应用。以柠檬酸三胺为前驱体,以多种低毒、廉价的酸试剂为修饰剂,采用一步溶剂热法成功制备了全色荧光碳量子点,并用荧光光谱仪、透射电镜、 X射线衍射仪、拉曼光谱仪、 X射线光电子能谱仪、紫外-可见分光光度计及傅里叶变换红外光谱仪对制备的碳量子点进行了表征分析。结果表明,所制备的碳量子点尺寸均匀,分散性好,发射的荧光由蓝色逐渐变为红色,发射峰值波长在450~650 nm之间可调,其荧光量子产率均在30%以上,红色碳量子点的量子产率高达38.75%,且表面富含羧基和羟基,具有很强的亲水性。通过不同酸试剂控制碳量子点的石墨化程度和表面羧基的数量,简单探究了碳量子点的发光机理。通过向环氧树脂中添加一种或多种颜色的碳量子点制备了全彩发射CQDs/环氧树脂复合薄膜,并制备了三种具有高显色指数的白光LED,其中暖白光LED的CIE色坐标为(0.43,0.39),相关色温为3 913 K,显色指数为86;制备的中性白光LED的CIE色坐标为(0.37,0.37),相关色温为4 170 K,显色指数为85.5;制备的冷白光LED的CIE色坐标为(0.30,0.34),相关色温为6 857 K,显色指数为80.4。该研究为开发低成本全彩色荧光薄膜和发光器件的替代荧光粉提供了一种新思路。 展开更多

为了实现煤沥青的高值利用,以煤沥青为碳源,邻/间/对苯二胺分别为氮源,通过先化学氧化、后水热两步法制备了三种高量子产率(QY)的氮掺杂碳点,分别标记为:CP-OCDs、CP-MCDs和CP-PCDs,并做了空白对照实验。结果显示,CP-OCDs、CP-MCDs和CP-... 为了实现煤沥青的高值利用,以煤沥青为碳源,邻/间/对苯二胺分别为氮源,通过先化学氧化、后水热两步法制备了三种高量子产率(QY)的氮掺杂碳点,分别标记为:CP-OCDs、CP-MCDs和CP-PCDs,并做了空白对照实验。结果显示,CP-OCDs、CP-MCDs和CP-PCDs的紫外可见吸收、激发和发射光谱与空白样品均不相同,氮掺杂改变了未掺氮碳点(CP-CDs和CP-HCDs)的吸收和荧光性质,并提高了QY。当最佳激发波长分别为385、385和365 nm时,CP-OCDs、CP-MCDs和CP-PCDs的最大发射波长分别为525、515和500 nm,都发明亮的绿光,QY分别为29.21%,19.86%和14.14%,高于CP-CDs和CP-HCDs的QY(4.90%和6.97%)。QY最高的碳点为CP-OCDs。CP-OCDs为分散性好、粒径为2-5 nm的无定形碳纳米粒子,其表面和骨架内部含有大量氨基和酰胺基团,这些含氮官能团引起CP-OCDs的荧光明显增强。将CP-OCDs作为荧光粉,结合紫外芯片制备了3.2 V下发白光的LED,器件的发射光谱几乎跨越了整个可见光区,色坐标(0.30,0.34),显色指数81,色温7293 K,流明效率3.42 lm·W^(-1),发明亮的冷白光,并具有高的光和色稳定性,CP-OCDs在固态照明领域具有较大的应用潜力。 展开更多

研究了6世代线生产的A产品边角白点不良问题。首先针对不良进行实物分析,然后利用Minitab软件的二元逻辑回归方法进行了数据分析,最后通过不同的工艺试验条件对不良进行改善。实验结果表明:不良区域封框胶被金属走线遮挡,遮挡比例是边... 研究了6世代线生产的A产品边角白点不良问题。首先针对不良进行实物分析,然后利用Minitab软件的二元逻辑回归方法进行了数据分析,最后通过不同的工艺试验条件对不良进行改善。实验结果表明:不良区域封框胶被金属走线遮挡,遮挡比例是边角白点不良的重要影响因素;TOF-SIMS(Time of Flight Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry)进一步分析发现不良区有更高含量的封框胶成分(丙烯酸类、双酚A类)。封框胶被金属走线遮挡,造成该区域封框胶固化不完全,导致封框胶成分析出溶入液晶,继而影响液晶正常偏转,产生边角白点不良。通过调整边角处的封框胶画法,可以有效降低不良率。实验改善了边角白点不良,为A产品的顺利量产打下了坚实基础。 展开更多

为了得到一种高性能的白光发光二极管用荧光材料,采用热注入法合成了一种银锰共掺杂的核/壳量子点。利用X射线衍射、透射电子显微镜、紫外-可见分光光度计、荧光光谱仪对样品的微观形貌、结构以及发光性能进行了测试与表征。测试结果表... 为了得到一种高性能的白光发光二极管用荧光材料,采用热注入法合成了一种银锰共掺杂的核/壳量子点。利用X射线衍射、透射电子显微镜、紫外-可见分光光度计、荧光光谱仪对样品的微观形貌、结构以及发光性能进行了测试与表征。测试结果表明:成功制备了目标量子点,所得样品呈类球形,平均粒径为(10.7±0.5)nm;该量子点能被紫外光有效激发,发射峰位于510 nm与615 nm处;与未包覆ZnSe壳层的量子点相比,核/壳量子点的发光强度与稳定性得到显著提升,并且量子产率达到了68%。核/壳结构量子点在254 nm紫外光连续辐照24 h后以及温度达到475 K时仍分别保持初始亮度的82%与50%。该量子点的优异发光性能与稳定性表明其在照明领域具有良好的应用前景。 展开更多
