This method allows jump conditions on immerse...A new simple fictitious domain method, the algebraic immersed interface and boundary (AIIB) method, is presented for elliptic equations with immersed interface conditions. This method allows jump conditions on immersed interfaces to be discretized with a good accuracy on a compact stencil. Auxiliary unknowns are created at existing grid locations to increase the degrees of freedom of the initial problem. These auxiliary unknowns allow imposing various constraints to the system on interfaces of complex shapes. For instance, the method is able to deal with immersed interfaces for elliptic equations with jump conditions on the solution or discontinuous coefficients with a second order of spatial accuracy. As the AIIB method acts on an algebraic level and only changes the problem matrix, no particular attention to the initial discretization is required. The method can be easily implemented in any structured grid code and can deal with immersed boundary problems too. Several validation problems are presented to demonstrate the interest and accuracy of the method.展开更多

Controlling robots with spoken natural language has become expectable. With the reliability problem of this kind of control in mind a confirmation process of natural language instruction should be included before carried out by the robot autonomously and the prototype dialog system was designed thus the standardization problem was raised for the natural and understandable language interaction. In the application background of remotely navigating a mobile robot inside a building with Chinese natural spoken language considering that as an important navigation element in instructions a place name can be expressed with different lexical terms in spoken language this paper proposes a model for substituting different alternatives of a place name with a standard one (called standardization). First a CRF (Conditional Random Fields) model is trained to label the term required be standardized then a trained word embedding model is to represent lexical terms as digital vectors. In the vector space similarity of lexical terms is defined and used to find out the most similar one to the term picked out to be standardized. Experiments show that the method proposed works well and the dialog system responses to confirm the instructions are natural and understandable.展开更多

From the point of view to construct an intelligent machine with self-monitoring and self-diagnosis abilities, the technology for realizing an internet orient...An intelligent machine is the earnest aspiration of people. From the point of view to construct an intelligent machine with self-monitoring and self-diagnosis abilities, the technology for realizing an internet oriented embedded intelligent condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for the rotating machine with remote monitoring, diagnosis, maintenance and upgrading functions is introduced systematically. Based on the DSP ( Digital Signal Processor) and embedded microcomputer, the system can measure and store the machine work status in real time, such as the rotating speed and vibration, etc. In the system, the DSP chip is used to do the fault signal processing and feature extraction, and the embedded microcomputer with a customized Linux operation system is used to realize the internet oriented remote software upgrading and system maintenance. Embedded fault diagnosis software based on mobile agent technology is also designed in the system, which can interconnect with the remote fault diagnosis center to realize the collaborative diagnosis. The embedded condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology proposed in this paper will effectively improve the intelligence degree of the fault diagnosis system.展开更多
