As a first step to develop an ASIC product, the entire system is designed on a field programmable gate array (FPGA) with an embedded CPU. To reduce working frequency of the FPGA, the byte-to-word conversion is proposed. Propagation delays are equalized by ranging procedure so as to avoid data collision. Implementations of synchronization, classification, as well as Linux porting are illustrated in detail. The interface between the FPGA and CPU are also presented. Experimental results show that the proposed system can properly function in a relatively low cost FPGA.展开更多

To study the passive worm behaviors, this paper firstly ...Passive worms can passively propagate through embedding themselves into some sharing files, which can result in significant damage to unstructured P2P networks. To study the passive worm behaviors, this paper firstly analyzes and obtains the average delay for all peers in the whole transmitting process due to the limitation of network throughput, and then proposes a mathematical model for the propagation of passive worms over the unstructured P2P networks. The model mainly takes the effect of the network throughput into account, and applies a new healthy files dissemination-based defense strategy according to the file popularity which follows the Zipf distribution. The simulation results show that the propagation of passive worms is mainly governed by the number of hops, initially infected files and uninfected files. The larger the number of hops, the more rapidly the passive worms propagate. If the number of the initially infected files is increased by the attackers, the propagation speed of passive worms increases obviously. A larger size of the uninfected file results in a better attack performance. However, the number of files generated by passive worms is not an important factor governing the propagation of passive worms. The effectiveness of healthy files dissemination strategy is verified. This model can provide a guideline in the control of unstructured P2P networks as well as passive worm defense.展开更多

A new passive method for automatic discovery and location of network failure is proposed.This method employs a passive measurement to collect information and events from network traffic,and employs a model-based reaso...A new passive method for automatic discovery and location of network failure is proposed.This method employs a passive measurement to collect information and events from network traffic,and employs a model-based reasoning system to detect and locate network faults.Measurement points are deployed in a backbone network to capture the traffic and then evaluate the Quality of Service(QoS) metrics of end-to-end IP conversations.A routing model is also established for the observed network to simulate the attributes and activities of routers and links.This routing model also deduces the routing path for each IP conversation,and thus the QoS metrics of IP conversations are mapped into the metrics of paths.With the information of shared links of overlapping paths and network tomography technique,the QoS metrics of links can also be estimated,and the poorly rated links are picked out as failure points.This method is implemented in a tool named FaultMan,which is deployed in a campus network.Test results have shown its availability in middle-scale networks.展开更多

And we propose an inference algorithm based on the standard Expectation-Maximization (EM) techniques. Our algorithm is applicable not only to periodic data collection scenarios but to event detection scenarios. In recent years,dual-homed topologies have appeared in data centers in order to offer higher aggregate bandwidth by using multiple paths simultaneously.Multipath TCP(MPTCP) has been proposed as a replacement for TCP i...In recent years,dual-homed topologies have appeared in data centers in order to offer higher aggregate bandwidth by using multiple paths simultaneously.Multipath TCP(MPTCP) has been proposed as a replacement for TCP in those topologies as it can efficiently offer improved throughput and better fairness.However,we have found that MPTCP has a problem in terms of incast collapse where the receiver suffers a drastic goodput drop when it simultaneously requests data over multiple servers.In this paper,we investigate why the goodput collapses even if MPTCP is able to actively relieve hot spots.In order to address the problem,we propose an equally-weighted congestion control algorithm for MPTCP,namely EW-MPTCP,without need for centralized control,additional infrastructure and a hardware upgrade.In our scheme,in addition to the coupled congestion control performed on each subflow of an MPTCP connection,we allow each subflow to perform an additional congestion control operation by weighting the congestion window in reverse proportion to the number of servers.The goal is to mitigate incast collapse by allowing multiple MPTCP subflows to compete fairly with a single-TCP flow at the shared bottleneck.The simulation results show that our solution mitigates the incast problem and noticeably improves goodput in data centers.展开更多

文摘In this work,an H_(∞)/passive-based secure synchronization control problem is investigated for continuous-time semi-Markov neural networks subject to hybrid attacks,in which hybrid attacks are the combinations of denial-of-service attacks and deception attacks,and they are described by two groups of independent Bernoulli distributions.On this foundation,via the Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality technology,the H_(∞)/passive-based performance criteria for semi-Markov jump neural networks are obtained.Additionally,an activation function division approach for neural networks is adopted to further reduce the conservatism of the criteria.Finally,a simulation example is provided to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method.

文摘For the influence caused by multipath fading and non-line-of-sight(NLOS)transmission,it is challenging to accurately localize a moving signal source in complex environment by using the wireless sensor network(WSN)on the ground.In this paper,we establish a special WSN in the sky to address this challenge,where each sensor is loaded on an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)and the operation center of all the UAVs is fixed on the ground.Based on the analyzing of the optimal distribution and the position error calibration of all the sensors,we formulate the localization scheme to estimate the position of the target source,which combines the time difference of arrival(TDOA)method and the frequency difference of arrival(FDOA)method.Then by employing the semidefinite programming approach,we accurately obtain the position and velocity of the signal source.In the simulation,the validity of the proposed method is verified through the performance comparison.

文摘The problem of passivity analysis is investigated for uncertain stochastic neural networks with discrete interval and distributed time-varying delays.The parameter uncertainties are assumed to be norm bounded and the delay is assumed to be time-varying and belongs to a given interval,which means that the lower and upper bounds of interval time-varying delays are available.By constructing proper Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and employing a combination of the free-weighting matrix method and stochastic analysis technique,new delay-dependent passivity conditions are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs).Finally,numerical examples are given to show the less conservatism of the proposed conditions.
