The Expanded Presence of Chinese Companies on the European Market as a Practical Realization of the ＂Go Global＂ Strategy

The article presents the phenomenon of the Chinese companies＇ expansion in Europe as a result of the implementation of the government＇s strategy ＂Go Global＂, including the nature of this expansion, the scale, premises, as well as the possible consequences. The first part of the article is devoted to the analysis of assumptions and instruments of＂Go Global＂ strategy used to strengthen the government＇s initiatives aimed at encouraging the national entrepreneurs to open up and conduct business internationally. Further in the article the dominant forms and directions of Chinese companies＇ expansion on the European market have been presented, followed by the analysis of the impact of Chinese economy on its major foreign investment partners during the current economic slowdown. The basis of the analysis made by the author was data obtained from the statistical bases （Eurostat） and reports of the Research Institutes for China Studies （Rhodium Group, Thomson Reuters）. This is allowed to illustrate the development of Chinese expansion on the European market during the years 1999-2015. A significant increase in the activity of the Chinese capital in Europe could be seen in recent years. The development of relations between European countries and China is taking place not only in economic, but also in political and cultural dimension. This was reflected, among others, in activating of the trade activities between EU and China, the level of which increased greatly in years 1990-1999 from EUR 15,9 bn to EUR 72,2 bn, to reach a value of EUR 428,3 bn in 2011, making EU the most important trading partner of China. It should be emphasized that the European market has become the largest after Asian market, in terms of industry diversification of Chinese investment, where Chinese companies are investing in industries such as： raw materials, infrastructure automotive, chemicals and renewable energy.

Global prevention of gastric cancer needs to increase its level of effectiveness.The prevention strategy should include all stages of primary and secondary prevention.The necessary steps to prevent gastric cancer are the following:Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and diet,avoiding smoking and alcohol;serological screening of Helicobacter pylori infections and eradication;serological screening of atrophic gastritis in the population over 45 years of age and identification of severe atrophic gastritis with a high risk of developing gastric cancer;verification of atrophic gastritis and precancerous changes in the gastric mucosa using modern endoscopic(confocal laser endomicroscopy,narrow-spectrum imaging,and magnifying endoscopy)and morphological methods among patients with severe atrophic gastritis who were identified using serological screening;treatment of patients with atrophic gastritis during diagnosis verification;annual endoscopic and morphological monitoring of patients with atrophic gastritis during permanent treatment;annual serological monitoring of patients with atrophic gastritis who refused endoscopic and morphological monitoring;and radical treatment of patients with verified early gastric cancer.Ways to implement the algorithm for the global strategy for the prevention of gastric cancer(protocol of practical recommendations)are:State,government,and municipal programs;departmental programs of health departments;family doctors for patients who have a contract at the initiative of the doctor;family doctors for patients with a contract at the patient’s initiative;and within private healthcare system where both doctors and patients can initiate the implementation of algorithm.

Zero-determinant strategies in iterated multi-strategy games

Self-serving,rational agents sometimes cooperate to their mutual benefit.The two-player iterated prisoner′s dilemma game is a model for including the emergence of cooperation.It is generally believed that there is no simple ultimatum strategy which a player can control the return of the other participants.The zero-determinant strategy in the iterated prisoner′s dilemma dramatically expands our understanding of the classic game by uncovering strategies that provide a unilateral advantage to sentient players pitted against unwitting opponents.However,strategies in the prisoner′s dilemma game are only two strategies.Are there these results for general multi-strategy games?To address this question,the paper develops a theory for zero-determinant strategies for multi-strategy games,with any number of strategies.The analytical results exhibit a similar yet different scenario to the case of two-strategy games.The results are also applied to the Snowdrift game,the Hawk-Dove game and the Chicken game.

The going global strategy of Chinese literature is a vital part of the going global strategy of Chinese culture. In recent years,the Chinese government has launched and strongly supported a series of activities and projects to promote this strategy,but little effect has been produced. Global Piecewise Analysis of HIV Model with Bi-Infectious Categories under Ordinary Derivative and Non-Singular Operator with Neural Network Approach

This study directs the discussion of HIV disease with a novel kind of complex dynamical generalized and piecewise operator in the sense of classical and Atangana Baleanu(AB)derivatives having arbitrary order.The HIV infection model has a susceptible class,a recovered class,along with a case of infection divided into three sub-different levels or categories and the recovered class.The total time interval is converted into two,which are further investigated for ordinary and fractional order operators of the AB derivative,respectively.The proposed model is tested separately for unique solutions and existence on bi intervals.The numerical solution of the proposed model is treated by the piece-wise numerical iterative scheme of Newtons Polynomial.The proposed method is established for piece-wise derivatives under natural order and non-singular Mittag-Leffler Law.The cross-over or bending characteristics in the dynamical system of HIV are easily examined by the aspect of this research having a memory effect for controlling the said disease.This study uses the neural network(NN)technique to obtain a better set of weights with low residual errors,and the epochs number is considered 1000.The obtained figures represent the approximate solution and absolute error which are tested with NN to train the data accurately.

Global transplantation:Lessons from organ transplantation organizations worldwide

Although national transplant organizations share common visions and goals,the creation of a unified global organization remains impractical.Differences in ethnicity,culture,religion,and education shape local practices and infrastructure,making the establishment of a single global entity unfeasible.Even with these social disparities aside,logistical factors such as time and distance between organ procurement and transplantation sites pose significant challenges.While technological advancements have extended organ preservation times,they have yet to support the demands of transcontinental transplantations effectively.This review presents a comparative analysis of the structures,operational frameworks,policies,and legislation governing various transplant organizations around the world.Key differences pertain to the administration of these organizations,trends in organ donation,and organ allocation policies,which reflect the financial,cultural,and religious diversity across different regions.While a global transplant organization may be out of reach,agreeing on best practices for the benefit of patients is essential.

Optimization Strategies of Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3) Cathode Materials for Sodium‑Ion Batteries

Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP)has garnered great attentions as a prospective cathode material for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)by virtue of its decent theoretical capacity,superior ion conductivity and high structural stability.However,the inherently poor electronic conductivity and sluggish sodium-ion diffusion kinetics of NVP material give rise to inferior rate performance and unsatisfactory energy density,which strictly confine its further application in SIBs.Thus,it is of significance to boost the sodium storage performance of NVP cathode material.Up to now,many methods have been developed to optimize the electrochemical performance of NVP cathode material.In this review,the latest advances in optimization strategies for improving the electrochemical performance of NVP cathode material are well summarized and discussed,including carbon coating or modification,foreign-ion doping or substitution and nanostructure and morphology design.The foreign-ion doping or substitution is highlighted,involving Na,V,and PO_(4)^(3−)sites,which include single-site doping,multiple-site doping,single-ion doping,multiple-ion doping and so on.Furthermore,the challenges and prospects of high-performance NVP cathode material are also put forward.It is believed that this review can provide a useful reference for designing and developing high-performance NVP cathode material toward the large-scale application in SIBs.

Gastric cancer ranks fifth as the most common cancer and third as the leading cause of death worldwide.Risk factors include advancing age,low-fiber diets,high salt intake and Helicobacter pylori infection.Diagnosis relies on histological examination following endoscopic biopsy with staging accomplished through various imaging modalities.Early gastric cancer is primarily managed via endoscopic resection,while non-early operable cases typically undergo surgery.Advanced cases are addressed through sequential chemotherapy lines,with initial treatment usually comprising a platinum and fluoropyrimidine combination.Linitis plastica(LP)is a rare,aggressive form of gastric cancer characterized by diffuse infiltration of the gastric wall,resulting in poor outcomes even after curative resection.The absence of a standardized definition contributes to uncertainty regarding the precise incidence of these tumors.LP is often diagnosed at advanced stages,with a reported median survival rate of approximately 4%-29%,despite“curative resection”.Its distinctive biological behavior includes perineural invasion,nodal metastasis,and peritoneal dissemination.The bleak prognosis for LP patients partly stems from delayed diagnosis and its aggressive biological nature,posing significant challenges for clinical management.Currently,no specialized treatment strategy exists for LP,and clinical approaches typically align with those used for general gastric cancer treatment.Surgical resection is the primary treatment,but the optimal surgical approach remains contentious.Recent studies have investigated the efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy in improving survival outcomes for LP patients.However,controversies persist regarding the role of adjuvant chemotherapy and postoperative radiotherapy.LP requires a multidisciplinary approach and personalized treatment strategies tailored to each patient’s condition.Further research is needed to elucidate optimal therapeutic interventions and improve outcomes for LP patients.

Design strategies and insights of flexible infrared optoelectronic sensors

Infrared optoelectronic sensing is the core of many critical applications such as night vision,health and medication,military,space exploration,etc.Further including mechanical flexibility as a new dimension enables novel features of adaptability and conformability,promising for developing next-generation optoelectronic sensory applications toward reduced size,weight,price,power consumption,and enhanced performance(SWaP^(3)).However,in this emerging research frontier,challenges persist in simultaneously achieving high infrared response and good mechanical deformability in devices and integrated systems.Therefore,we perform a comprehensive review of the design strategies and insights of flexible infrared optoelectronic sensors,including the fundamentals of infrared photodetectors,selection of materials and device architectures,fabrication techniques and design strategies,and the discussion of architectural and functional integration towards applications in wearable optoelectronics and advanced image sensing.Finally,this article offers insights into future directions to practically realize the ultra-high performance and smart sensors enabled by infrared-sensitive materials,covering challenges in materials development and device micro-/nanofabrication.Benchmarks for scaling these techniques across fabrication,performance,and integration are presented,alongside perspectives on potential applications in medication and health,biomimetic vision,and neuromorphic sensory systems,etc.

Comprehensive influence of individualized nutrition support and nursing strategy on rehabilitation of patients with liver cancer after operation

BACKGROUND Hepatocellular carcinoma ranks among the most prevalent malignant neoplasms.Surgical intervention constitutes a critical therapeutic approach for this condition.Nonetheless,postoperative recovery is frequently influenced by the patient's nutritional status and the quality of nursing care provided.AIM To examine the comprehensive impact of personalized nutritional support and nursing strategies on the postoperative rehabilitation of patients with liver cancer.METHODS In this study,a retrospective comparative analysis was conducted involving 60 post-operative liver cancer patients.The subjects were selected as subjects and divided into two groups based on differing nursing interventions,with each group comprising 30 patients.The control group received standard nutritional support and care,whereas the experimental group received individualized nutritional support and nursing strategies.The study aimed to evaluate the impact of individualized nutrition by comparing the rehabilitation indices,nutritional status,quality of life(QoL),and complication rates between the two groups.RESULTS The results showed that the recovery index of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group 2 weeks after surgery,and the average liver function recovery index of the experimental group was 85.significantly higher than that of the control group(73.67±7.19).In terms of nutritional status,the serum albumin level and body weight stabilization rate of the experimental group were also significantly higher than those of the control group,which were 42.33±2.4 g/L and 93.3%,respectively,compared with 36.01±3.85 g/L and 76.7%of the control group.In addition,the average QoL score of the experimental group was 84.66±3.7 points,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(70.92±4.28 points).At the psychological level,the average anxiety score of the experimental group was 1.17±0.29,and the average depression score was 1.47±0.4,which were significantly lower than the 2.26±0.42 and 2.57±0.45 of the control group.This showed that patients in the experimental group were better relieved of anxiety and depression under the individualized nutrition support and nursing strategy.More importantly,the complication rate in the experimental group was only 10%,much lower than the 33.3%in the control group.CONCLUSION Personalized nutritional support and tailored nursing strategies significantly enhance the postoperative rehabilitation of liver cancer patients.Consequently,it is recommended to implement and advocate for these individualized approaches to improve both the recovery outcomes and QoL for these patients.

Water Quality,Influential Factors,and Management Strategies from 2016 to 2020 in the Yangtze River Economic Belt,China

The Yangtze River economic belt(YREB),China is important to the Chinese economy and for supporting sustainable development.Clarifying the relationship between water quality indices and socioeconomic indicators could help improve aquatic environment management in the YREB and our understanding of the causes and effects of water quality variations in other large river basins.In this study,river water quality,factors affecting water quality,and management strategies,and correlations between water quality indices and socioeconomic indicators in the YREB during the 13th Five-Year Plan period(2016-2020)were assessed.The single-factor evaluation method,constant price for GDP,and correlation analyses were adopted.The results showed that:1)water quality in the YREB improved during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.The number of aquatic environment sections meeting GradeⅠ-Ⅲwater quality standards increased by 13.1%and the number below Grade V decreased by 2.9%.2)The values of 12 indicators in the YREB exceeded relevant standards.The indicators with highest concentreation were the total phosphorus,chemical oxygen demand,ammonia nitrogen,and permanganate index,which were relatively high in downstream regions in Anhui Province,Jiangsu Province,and Shanghai Municipality.3)Ammonia nitrogen,chemical oxygen demand,and total phosphorus emissions per unit area and water extraction per unit area are relatively high in the three downstream regions mentioned above.4)Increased domestic sewage discharges have increased total wastewater discharges in the YREB.5)River water quality in the YREB strongly correlated with population,economic,and water resource indices and less strongly correlated with government investment,agriculture,meteorology,energy,and forestry indices.This confirmed the need to decrease wastewater discharges and non-point-source pollutant emissions.The aquatic environment could be improved by taking reasonable measures to control population growth,adjusting the industrial structure to accelerate industrial transformation and increase the proportion of tertiary industries,and investing in technological innovations to protect the environment.

A Strategy for Merging Objective Estimates of Global Daily Precipitation from Gauge Observations, Satellite Estimates, and Numerical Predictions

This paper describes a strategy for merging daily precipitation information from gauge observations, satellite estimates （SEs）, and numerical predictions at the global scale. The strategy is designed to remove systemic bias and random error from each individual daily precipitation source to produce a better gridded global daily precipitation product through three steps. First, a cumulative distribution function matching procedure is performed to remove systemic bias over gauge-located land areas. Then, the overall biases in SEs and model predictions （MPs） over ocean areas are corrected using a rescaled strategy based on monthly precipitation. Third, an optimal interpolation （OI）-based merging scheme （referred as the HL-OI scheme） is used to combine unbiased gahge observations, SEs, and MPs to reduce random error from each source and to produce a gauge--satellite-model merged daily precipitation analysis, called BMEP-d （Beijing Climate Center Merged Estimation of Precipitation with daily resolution）, with complete global coverage. The BMEP-d data from a four-year period （2011- 14） demonstrate the ability of the merging strategy to provide global daily precipitation of substantially improved quality. Benefiting from the advantages of the HL-OI scheme for quantitative error estimates, the better source data can obtain more weights during the merging processes. The BMEP-d data exhibit higher consistency with satellite and gauge source data at middle and low latitudes, and with model source data at high latitudes. Overall, independent validations against GPCP-1DD （GPCP one-degree daily） show that the consistencies between B MEP-d and GPCP-1DD are higher than those of each source dataset in terms of spatial pattern, temporal variability, probability distribution, and statistical precipitation events.

Update on global epidemiology of viral hepatitis and preventive strategies

Viral hepatitis is one of the major public health concerns around the world but until recently it has drawn little attention or funding from global health policymakers.Every year 1.4 million people die from viral hepatitisrelated cirrhosis and liver cancer.However,the majority of the infected population are unaware of their condition.This population have significant obstacles to overcome such as lack of awareness,vulnerability,increased migration,disease stigma,discrimination,as well as poor health resources,conflict in policy development and program implementation.Despite implementing infection control measures over the last few decades eradication or significant disease reduction remains elusive.This study aims to present the current global prevalence status and examines potential elimination strategies.The information for this research were obtained through a systematic review,published scientific literatures,the official websites of various government organisations,international public health organisations and internationally recognised regulatory bodies over a period of 40 years between 1978 and2018.

Global Analysis of an SEIR Epidemic Model with Infectious Force under Intervention Strategies

In this paper, we investigate the global stability of an SEIR (Susceptible-Exposed-Infected-Remove) epidemic model with infectious force under intervention strategies. To address this issue, we prove that the basic reproduction number R0 plays an essential role in determining whether the disease extincts or persists. If , there is a unique disease-free equilibrium point of the model which is globally asymptotically stable and the disease dies out, and if , there exists a unique endemic equilibrium point which is globally asymptotically stable and the disease persists.
