Therefore, New Century Graduate English Series, as constructivism-based course books, has made some beneficial attempts for the implementation of the new graduate English teaching reauirements.展开更多

Its emergence is believed a success of college English coursebook reform. Assessed in light of general criterion home and abroad, it is concluded that New College English is indeed centered on Syllabus of College English, keep up with the times and suit college students’ life and thinking. Nevertheless, it needs further improvement in terms of reduction of new words, of length of sentence, difficulty of content, amount of teaching as well as negligence of grammar teaching.展开更多
