Professional Development of County-level Physical Education Teachers from the Perspective of the New Curriculum Standards:A Case Study of Huaiji County

Using methods such as questionnaire survey and literature review,a survey was conducted on the professional development of physical education teachers in Huaiji County under the background of the new curriculum standards.The research results found that physical education teachers in Huaiji County have a relatively good distribution structure in terms of teaching experience,age,and education level,but the gender ratio and professional title ratio need to be improved.In terms of professional competence,teachers have shown good performance in teaching implementation ability,but there is still room for improvement in teaching design ability.A certain proportion of teachers still express dissatisfaction with professional title promotion,hardware configuration satisfaction,salary and benefits,and school reward mechanisms.Based on this,this study proposes some measures to improve the professional development level of county-level physical education teachers,such as enhancing teachers teaching design and implementation abilities,strengthening the cultivation of technical action demonstration abilities,improving hardware configuration satisfaction and teaching effectiveness reflection level,strengthening guidance and support for teachers professional development,and enhancing the promotion and implementation of post employment training.

The Influence of Physical Education Curriculum Reform on Students’Physical Fitness:Taking Guangdong University of Foreign Studies as an Example

The purpose of this study is to deeply explore the impact of physical education(PE)curriculum reform on students’PE test results.By comparing the data of students’PE tests before and after the reform,analyzing the results of the questionnaire survey,and interviewing teachers and students,this paper reveals the significant effect of curriculum reform in improving students’PE test results.It is found that the curriculum reform effectively stimulates students’interest and participation in sports through optimizing teaching content,innovating teaching methods,improving evaluation systems,and increasing extracurricular sports activities,thus improving students’physical fitness and physical test scores.This study provides an empirical basis and suggestions for further promoting PE curriculum reform.

School Physical Education Promotes Students’ Mental Health Education: An Exploratory Study

This study explores how school physical education promotes students’mental health education,focusing on analyzing the impact of sports activities on improving students’self-esteem,reducing psychological stress,improving social skills and other aspects of mental health.By analyzing the connotation and function of school sports,supported by the three theories of self-determination,stress reduction,and social support,the relationship between the adjustment effect of school sports on students’psychology,the cultivation of psychological resilience in sports competitions,and the impact of sports on social activities was analyzed.This proves that school physical education has significant advantages in students’self-esteem,stress resistance,and social skills.It is recommended that educational decision makers and school administrators focus on curriculum innovation and differentiated customization,strengthen participation and self-efficacy cultivation,sports skills improvement and psychological construction,team cohesion and social network construction,cross-border integration and system integration,increase investment in school sports facilities and procedures,design more diverse and highly participatory sports activities,and more effectively promote students’mental health growth.

The Effects of Pain Neuroscience Education with Conventional Physical Therapy on Chronic Plantar Fasciitis: A Case Study

Background and Purpose: Plantar Fasciitis (PF) is a condition that affects the foot and causes complaints such as pain and stiffness. The most common symptom of this condition is pain. There are many treatment options to deal with this condition, such as conservative therapy, medications, and surgical interventions in rare cases. This case study aims to investigate the potential impact of pain neuroscience education (PNE), combined with a conventional Physical Therapy (PT) program on a 37-year-old-patient with chronic plantar fasciitis. Case description: A 37-year-old male health care professional presented to an outpatient physical therapy clinic with a diagnosis of chronic PF for around two years. The participant had tried several treatment options with no improvement of his symptoms. After undergoing a physical therapy evaluation, he was given a plan of care for twelve sessions by a skilled physical therapist for a six-week period, with each session consisting of 30 minutes of conventional PT, followed by 5 to 15 minutes of PNE. Results: After completing the prescribed plan of care, the patient reported a reduction in subjective symptoms via the Visual Analog Scale (VAS). He also reported improvement with symptoms and functional independence via the Foot Function Index (FFI). The patient reported no change in the quality of sleep via Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Lastly, he demonstrated no objective improvement in foot pressure with the Navicular Drop Test. Discussion: This case report indicates that PNE, combined with conventional PT for PF can have a positive impact on subjective pain and foot function. PNE should involve many topics about the physiology of pain and the nervous system and should be administered by a certified therapeutic pain specialist. Further studies are recommended to investigate the impact of this intervention in combination with traditional PT for PF in larger populations.

The Association between Physical Education and Mental Health Indicators in Adolescents:A Cross-Sectional Study

Objective:To explore the associations between physical education attendance and mental health indicators.Methods:Using data from the Global Student Health Survey,the frequency of physical education attendance,suicidality-related indicators,loneliness,bullying,and anxiety were all assessed using a standardized self-reported questionnaire.Multivariable logistic regression was used to estimate the association between physical education attendance and mental health-related indicators.Results:The study included 276,169 participants from 71 coun-tries(47.3%males,aged 11–18 years old).After controlling for sex,age,food insecurity,close friends,physical activity,sedentary time,others’help,and parents’understanding,physical education attendance was not signifi-cantly associated with suicidal attempts,suicidal ideation,and anxiety.However,compared with no physical edu-cation attendance,individuals attending physical education for 1,2,as well as 5 or more days had significantly reduced odds/ratios of suicide;only 2 days of physical education attendance was associated with a lower odds ratio for suffering from loneliness.Even 1 day of physical education was associated with not being bullied by others.Conclusion:This study suggests that physical education attendance may not have an effective role in reducing mental health illnesses in children and adolescents.Future studies are encouraged to corroborate or negate our research discoveries by using better and further improved study designs.

Professional Development of Rural Physical Education Teachers from the Perspective of Educational Ecology:A Case Study of Deqing County

Based on the theoretical perspective of educational ecology,the basic situation of professional development of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County and the restricting factors in the process of professional development were investigated and analyzed by using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistic analysis,aiming to find out the problems existing in the professional development of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County.The targeted optimization strategies were explored,so as to achieve the effects of enriching the research theory of professional development of rural physical education teachers,improving the quality of physical education in rural schools,inheriting excellent rural sports culture,driving the development of rural mass sports,promoting the construction of rural material and spiritual civilization,and improving the quality of rural human capital.According to the research,the gender structure of rural physical education teachers in Deqing County was unreasonable;the teachers were undertaken heavy teaching task;there was a shortage of highly educated people;some teachers lacked understanding and attention to the connotation of professional development;the teachers had insufficient knowledge of educational science;teachers’sense of responsibility needed to be strengthened;schools did not pay enough attention to teachers’continuing education and training,and teachers were less satisfied with training.

Study and Practice of ＂Harmonious Teaching Method＂ in Art Course Teaching of College Physical Education Taking College Sports Dance Teaching As an Example

The ultimate goal of college personnel training is ＂comprehensively implementing quality-oriented education and cultivating innovation-oriented personnel＂. The application of ＂harmonious teaching method＂ in the sports dance teaching of general colleges can help theoretically analyze the teaching process of existing sports dance actions and reveal the main reason for the gap with the goal of ＂comprehensive harmonious development＂, and also can verify the theoretical analysis results. Therefore, using teaching experiment method, experiment class and control class were selected for implementing two different teaching methods. Difference T test of small samples average was made on the acquired data for revealing the teaching effect difference between two different teaching methods. The result shows that the difference between two teaching methods was significant. The application of ＂harmonious teaching method＂ in the sports dance teaching of physical education of general colleges plays a certain positive role in training the comprehensive and harmonious moral, intellectual and physical developments of college students.

A Study of the Rain Classroom-Based Teaching Mode of College English for Art or Physical Education Majors

The study delves into the online teaching practice that uses "Rain Classroom" for the school-based curriculum of college English and explored whether such a teaching mode can arouse students’ interests in learning,and enhance their learning effect and satisfaction by means of a questionnaire survey and semi-structured interviews to collect feedback from students of art or physical education majors on the effectiveness of Rain Classroom-based teaching for quantitative and qualitative analysis.The collected data indicates that this teaching mode was greatly accepted by these students,who showed strong interests in learning,but as they were not disciplined much in their studies,their learning effect was not significant.Therefore,this paper concluded therefore that we should integrate such smart teaching modes as Rain Classroom with traditional classroom teaching styles to tap the benefits of blended learning which features the combination of information technology(IT) with foreign language teaching.
