A Comparative Study on the Two Chinese Versions of the Nightingale and the Rose: From the Perspective of Functional Equivalence

This study explores the realization of functional equivalence through a comparative analysis of Ba Jin's and Lin Huiyin's Chinese versions of The Nightingale and the Rose at the levels of meaning,style and culture.Ba's version achieves the highest functional equivalence,especially at the level of style.By contrast,with strong personal style and characteristics of the Republicanperiod,Lin's version is difficult for the children to read and comprehend.Besides,for both translators fail to understand the original texts completely,their versions mislead the readers as to meanings and cultural interpretations.

The historical evolution of the regulations for the Florence Nightingale Medal

Objective: This study aimed to explore the 100-year changes in regulations for the Florence Nightingale Medal.Methods: We used the announcements of the Florence Nightingale Medal awards as the research object to analyze-via historical and inductive methods-the regulations for receiving the Florence Nightingale Medal.Results: In the award years, the greatest number of winners per award year was 71 and the lowest was 12. The medal was initially exclusively awarded to living people but evolved to include both living and deceased people. The recipients were balanced among all countries. The gender of the winners showed a changing trend from being limited to only females to including both males and females.There was also a shift from emphasis on only dedication of the recipient to equal emphasis on both dedication and innovation.Conclusions: The selection criteria for recipients of the Florence Nightingale Medal evolved from consideration of those showing only dedication to equal consideration of both dedication and innovation.

ROSE技术联合电子支气管镜对多重耐药感染患者细菌培养阳性率、炎症指标及疗效的影响

目的 探讨ROSE技术联合电子支气管镜对多重耐药感染患者细菌培养阳性率、炎症指标及疗效的影响,为临床实际应用提供参考。方法 选取2023年1月—2024年4月于新疆生产建设兵团医院呼吸与危重症医学科RICU和ICU住院治疗的最终诊断为多重耐药感染并在住院期间行电子支气管镜检查术的重症监护病房住院患者80例。根据是否接受ROSE干预分为ROSE组和未行ROSE组。未行ROSE组在住院期间单纯行电子支气管镜(奥林巴斯,BF-Q290)检查术。ROSE组在住院期间行ROSE技术联合电子支气管镜检查术。对比两组细菌阴转率、定植率、感染率、住院期间总花费、住院时间、抗生素使用时间、临床疗效、炎症等指标水平。结果 治疗后,ROSE组的细菌阴转率高于未行ROSE组,定植率和感染率低于未行ROSE组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。ROSE组住院期间总花费、住院时间、抗生素使用时间等指标均低于未行ROSE组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。ROSE组总有效为97.50%,高于未行ROSE组的75.00%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。治疗后,ROSE组CRP、IL-4、IL-6等指标均低于未行ROSE组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论 ROSE技术有助于增加行电子支气管镜检查的多重耐药感染患者细菌阴转率,降低定植率和感染率,效果显著,且节省住院期间总花费,缩短住院时间和抗生素使用时间,改善CRP、IL-4、IL-6等指标水平。

基于ROSE2.0的普洱地区CINRAD/CC雷达冰雹探测算法评估及参数本地化

为提高冰雹探测算法(Hail Detection Algorithm, HDA)产品的可用性,针对2015—2020年普洱地区监测到的22次冰雹个例,利用新一代雷达业务应用软件ROSE2.0对相关雷达基数据进行回放及产品分析,以命中率、虚警率、临界成功指数为指标对HDA算法在普洱地区的识别效果进行评估并给出本地化参数配置方案。结果表明:HDA算法在普洱地区命中率接近100%,但虚警现象非常普遍,使用强冰雹概率(Probability of Severe Hail, POSH)的预警效果优于任意大小冰雹概率(Probability of Hail, POH),且冰雹尺寸越大POSH虚警的概率越低。进一步使用模拟测评法对POSH算法的适配参数进行分析,发现正确输入降雹日当天的0℃层和-20℃层高度能有效减少POSH的虚警率及提高临界成功指数;同时使算法预测的最大冰雹直径普遍偏大的情况得到控制,其中,中小冰雹直径偏离百分比减小76.07%,改善效果显著高于大冰雹。此外,增大反射率因子及POSH阈值能有效控制虚警,但也导致漏报次数快速增加,当阈值太大时命中率明显降低,为了保证较高的命中率和临界成功指数,选择Z=50 dBz或POSH=70%为阈值能明显改善HDA算法的识别效果。

Effect of Modified Biochar with Organic Fertiliser on the Growth and Development of Chinese Rose

In order to reduce the waste of resources and environmental pollution caused by excessive application of chemical fertilizers, improve the utilization rate of fertilizers, and promote the large-scale and high-quality development of the Chinese rose industry. In this experiment, corn stover biochar, phosphoric acid modified biochar and organic fertilizer were used as test materials, and the effects of mixed application of modified biochar and organic fertilizer on the growth and development of Chinese rose as well as soil physicochemical properties were investigated by using the method of pot planting test. The results showed that modified biochar with organic fertilizer had the most significant effect on the enhancement of soil pH, organic matter content and soil carbon-to-nitrogen ratio. After 120 d of planting, modified biochar with organic fertilizer had the most significant effect on the enhancement of plant height and crown width of Chinese rose;both organic fertilizer and modified biochar with organic fertilizer significantly increased the chlorophyll content of Chinese rose. The number of flowers and the number of branches were the highest in the modified biochar with organic fertilizer treatment. In conclusion, the application of modified biochar with organic fertilizer can better improve the soil pH, and increase the soil organic matter content and carbon-to-nitrogen ratio to change the biological traits of Chinese rose. The results of this study provide a theoretical basis for the reduction of chemical fertilizers and the resource utilization of agricultural wastes and guarantee the sustainable development of the cut flower industry.

An Analysis of A Rose for Emily from the Perspective of Spatial Narrative

The novel A Rose for Emily is one of the early works of William Faulkner,a famous American southern writer who has won The Nobel Prize in Literature in 1950.Spatial narrative theory analyzes and summarizes the spatial characteristics of modern and postmodern novels,showing the narrative characteristics of the works that the time is disrupted and suspended,and the space is extended indefinitely.This paper intends to interpret A Rose for Emily from the perspective of spatial narrative theory,and analyze the geological space,social space and text space in the novel,so as to reveal the important role of spatial structure in creating atmosphere and promoting narrative process,in order to better grasp the spatial metaphors in Faulkner’s novels.

ROSE2.1产品在黔东南一次冰雹天气过程中的应用检验

【目的】根据中国气象局部署,自2023年12月1日起,在全国所有组网业务运行的新一代天气雷达正式业务运行ROSE2.1。为检验ROSE2.1冰雹报警产品在黔东南州短临监测预警业务中的应用效果,提高本地冰雹监测预警能力。【方法】选取2023年4月18日黔东南州出现的一次冰雹天气过程,基于ROSE2.1.2版本软件,利用ROSE降水估测和报警产品评估系统,对榕江双偏振雷达和三穗单偏振雷达2部雷达ROSE2.1系统中冰雹报警产品(UAM hail)以及2部雷达组网的冰雹报警产品(NUAM hail),从命中次数、虚警次数、漏报次数、命中率、虚警率、漏报率、准确率7个方面分距离等级进行检验评估,并计算其报警提前量。【结果】(1)榕江雷达及2部雷达组网的冰雹报警产品UAM hail和NUAM hail的命中率和准确率均与距离成正比,即随距离增加而增大;三穗雷达冰雹报警产品命中率和准确率与距离成反比,即随距离增加而减小。(2)3个产品各有所长,互补短板,分距离等级50 km范围内三穗雷达表现最优,50 km以上榕江雷达表现最优;平均榕江雷达表现最优,组网的较三穗雷达有明显提升,三穗雷达无虚警率,榕江、组网有一定的虚警率。(3)ROSE2.1冰雹报警产品提前量榕江雷达平均时间提前量最高,组网的产品最低,但整体均在30 min以上,对冰雹的短临预报预警业务有很好的指示意义。【结论】在冰雹的短临监测预警业务中,当ROSE2.1冰雹报警产品持续报警时次小于2个时,可认为报警产品为虚警。

ROSE技术在乳腺癌前哨淋巴结术中活检的诊断价值

目的:探讨快速现场评估(ROSE)技术在乳腺癌前哨淋巴结(SLN)术中活检的应用价值。方法:分析2023年10月至2024年3月在甘肃省肿瘤医院接受乳腺癌SLN术中活检患者的临床病理数据。共纳入123例SLN活检患者,共467枚SLN,所有SLN均行ROSE检查和冷冻切片检查,分析ROSE诊断的敏感性、特异性、阳性预测值(PPV)、阴性预测值(NPV)和准确率,并统计ROSE和术中冷冻技术诊断单例患者所有SLN的平均时长。结果:ROSE诊断的敏感性、特异性、PPV和NPV分别为84.2%、98.4%、82.1%、98.6%,准确率为97.2%。ROSE技术与最终石蜡病理诊断一致性好,Kappa一致性指数为0.816(P<0.001)。ROSE诊断单例患者所有SLN平均时长(4.20±1.94)min,低于术中冷冻诊断时间(25.76±4.38)min,差异有统计学意义(t=75.59,P<0.001)。结论:ROSE技术在乳腺癌SLN术中活检中诊断准确率高且用时短,与术中冷冻切片诊断和石蜡病理诊断结果一致性好,值得临床推广应用。

快速一步法(ROSE法)提取DNA应用于RAPD-PCR扩增

对ROSE法的操作程序进行了进一步的简化，“一管一步”即可完成DNA提取全过程，系统地与CTAB和SDS法进行了比较，其提取过程明显比CTAB法、SDS法简单，提取效率分别比CTAB、SDS提高4倍和9倍，无污染物产生；与CTAB和SDs法相比分别节省费用200％和700％。提取的DNA能满足RAPD－PCR研究的需要。因此，改良后的ROSE法可能是一种适合于DNA提取自动化的方法，同时可能成为植物分子育种实验室提取DNA的常规方法。
