The effects of varying temperature, applied stress, and grain size(GS) on creep properties and mechanisms are investigated. Notably, the occurrence of tertiary creep is exclusively observed under conditions where the applied stress exceeds 4.5 GPa and the temperature is higher than 1100 K. This phenomenon can be attributed to the significant acceleration of grain boundary and lattice diffusion, driven by the elevated temperature and stress levels. It is found that the strain rate increases with both temperature and stress increasing. However, an interesting trend is observed in which the strain rate decreases as the grain size increases. The stress and temperature are crucial parameters governing the creep behavior. As these factors intensify, the creep mechanism undergoes a sequential transformation: initially from lattice diffusion under low stress and temperature conditions to a mixed mode combining grain boundaries(GBs) and lattice diffusion at moderate stress and mid temperature levels, and ultimately leading to the failure of power-law controlled creep behavior, inclusive of grain boundary recrystallization under high stress and temperature conditions. This comprehensive analysis provides in more detail an understanding of the intricate creep behavior of nano-polycrystalline niobium and its dependence on various physical parameters.展开更多

In order to study the multi-energy dissipation behavior and restorability after an earthquake, two stages of low cyclic loading tests were carded out on ten test specimens. In the first stage, test on five specimens with different number of SP deep beams was carried out, and the test lasted until the displacement drift reached 2%. In the second stage, thin SPs were welded to both sides of the five specimens tested in the first stage, and the same test was carried out on the repaired specimens (designated as new specimens). The load-bearing capacity, stiffness, ductility, hysteretic behavior and failure characteristics were analyzed for both stages and the results are discussed herein. Extrapolating from these results, strength calculation models and formulas are proposed herein and simulations using ABAQUS carried out, they show good agreement with the test results. The study demonstrates that SRC columns, SP deep beams, concrete wall and energy dissipation strips cooperate well and play an important role in energy dissipation. In addition, this study shows that the shear wall has good recoverability after an earthquake, and that the welding of thin SP's to repair a deformed wall is a practicable technique.展开更多

In this study, we investigated the tribological behavior and energy dissipation characteristics of nano-Al_2O_3-reinforced polytetrafluoroethylenepolyphenylene sulfide(PTFE-PPS) composites in a sliding system. The tribological behaviors of the composites were evaluated under different normal loads(100–300 N) at a high linear velocity(2 m/s) using a block-on-ring tester. Addition of the nano-Al_2O_3 filler improved the antiwear performance of the PTFE-PPS composites, and the friction coefficient increased slightly. The lowest wear rate was obtained when the nano-Al_2O_3 content was 3%(volume fraction). Further, the results indicated a linear correlation between wear and the amount of energy dissipated, even though the wear mechanism changed with the nano-Al_2O_3 content, independent of the normal load applied.展开更多

In addition, this study shows that the shear wall has good recoverability after an earthquake, and that the welding of thin SP's to repair a deformed wall is a practicable technique.
文摘The method of energy dispersion in magnetic field is used to analyze the energy spread of the triple-pulse electron beam generated by the Dragon-II linear induction accelerator.A sector magnet is applied for energy analysis of the electron beam, with a bending radius of 300 mm and a deflection angle of 90°.For each pulse, the time-resolved and integral images of the electron position at the output port of beam-bending line are recorded by a streak camera and a CCD camera, respectively.Experimental results demonstrate an energy spread of less than ±2.0%for the electron pulses. The cavity voltage waveforms obtained by different detectors are also analyzed for comparison.

文摘Interpenetrating phase composites (IPCs) are a new class of composite materials with improved combinations of mechanical and physical properties. This study was performed on a new type of IPC called metal porous polymer composite (MPPC) with an interpenetrating network structure. Aluminum-polypropylene (AI-PE) and Aluminum-epoxy resin (Al-Ep) composites were produced by infiltrating the polymer in the aluminum foam. The composite microstructures were characterized using SEM observation. The compressive behavior and energy absorption characteristics of MPPC were investigated and compared with the aluminum foams. The compressive modulus of composite was compared with the VOIGT-REUSS bounds and HASHIN-SHTRIKMAN (H-S) bounds models. The experimental modulus of compressive tests falls well within the theoretical models.

文摘A two-dimensional unsteady heat transfer model of pavement of geothermal road snow-melting system (GRSS) with solar energy storage is established and numerical simulation is carried out based on annual hourly meteorological data and boundary conditions. Simulated results show that ground surface temperature and heating flux decrease with the increase of buried depth, but increase with the increase of fluid temperature in winter. Heat-extracted amount and efficiency drop with the increase of fluid temperature in summer.Compared with ambient temperature, solar radiation has more direct influence on the heat-extracted flux of pipe walls of GRSS in summer. The relationships among maximum and idling snow-melting load, the rate of snowfall, ambient temperature and wind speed are made clear, which provides necessary references for the design and optimization of a practical road snow-melting system.

文摘We numerically study a one-dimensional,nonlinear lattice model which in the linear limit is relevant to the study of bending(flexural)waves. In contrast with the classic one-dimensional mass-spring system, the linear dispersion relation of the considered model has different characteristics in the low frequency limit.By introducing disorder in the masses of the lattice particles,we investigate how different nonlinearities in the potential(cubic, quadratic, and their combination)lead to energy delocalization, equipartition, and chaotic dynamics. We excite the lattice using single site initial momentum excitations corresponding to a strongly localized linear mode and increase the initial energy of excitation.Beyond a certain energy threshold, when the cubic nonlinearity is present, the system is found to reach energy equipartition and total delocalization. On the other hand, when only the quartic nonlinearity is activated, the system remains localized and away from equipartition at least for the energies and evolution times considered here. However, for large enough energies for all types of nonlinearities we observe chaos. This chaotic behavior is combined with energy delocalization when cubic nonlinearities are present, while the appearance of only quadratic nonlinearity leads to energy localization. Our results reveal a rich dynamical behavior and show differences with the relevant Fermi–Pasta–Ulam–Tsingou model. Our findings pave the way for the study of models relevant to bending(flexural)waves in the presence of nonlinearity and disorder, anticipating different energy transport behaviors.

文摘Nanoparticles are increasingly being used to improve the friction and wear performance of polymers. Further, the results indicated a linear correlation between wear and the amount of energy dissipated, even though the wear mechanism changed with the nano-Al_2O_3 content, independent of the normal load applied.

文摘Information asymmetry phenomenon and the differences between the main body's earning targets, which are existing in the building energy saving field, have made the game behaviors of its economic activities become inevitable. There are strategies choice between government departments and the developers, when the building energy saving work is carried out under the government control.Based on the players based assumptions, the path of player's behavior strategy choices is analyzed, expected revenue models are established and mixed Nash equilibrium is obtained in this paper.Based on the analysis results, the incentive strategy enlightenment could be concluded that it is particularly important to design the scientific incentive system for developers to develop energy-saving buildings reasonably and for the government to implement effective control;the role of informal system in encouraging developers to develop energy-saving buildings should not be ignored.

文摘Building energy efficiency is a long-term strategy to achieve sustainable development, but the inconsistencies of main interests during the implementation lead to the need for government regulation in building energy conservation. Implementation of building energy efficiency of government regulation covers three aspects of construction and involves relevant participators, so the paper analyzes interests and roles of the related subjects in building energy saving, explore the motivations and its conversion mechanism of each player, and dissect the game relationship of associated earnings of developers' and consumers' behaviors selection under government control. Finally, the paper proposes basic requirements of building incentive policies for related subjects under government control to regulate the main behaviors of subjects in building energy efficient buildings and achieve energy efficiency goals and balance of all parties' benefits.

文摘Consumers and developers are the market transaction subjects which drive the development of building energy efficiency market. High energy prices, unreasonable heating system, information asymmetry of building energy suppress demand of energy efficiency construction; high technical risk and construction cost, nonstandard market restrict the supply of energy efficiency construction. To promote the development of building energy efficiency, we must set up effective incentive policies for both sides of the market transaction, improve the supervisory system, promote the technological progress, build the information sharing platform, so as to achieve the purpose of cultivating and improving the building energy efficiency market system, regulating the behavior of supply and demand subject, building the mutually beneficial and cooperative partnership, and realizing the balance of interests.
