EXISTENCE AND NONEXISTENCE FOR THE INITIAL BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM OF ONE CLASS OF SYSTEM OF MULTIDIMENSIONAL NONLINEAR SCHRDINGER EQUATIONS WITH OPERATOR AND THEIR SOLITON SOLUTIONS

The nonlinear interactions between the monochromatic wave have been considered by K. Matsunchi, who also proposed one class of the nonlinear Schrdinger equation system with wave operator. We also obtain the same type of equations, which are satisfied by transverse velocity of higher frequency electron, as we study soliton in plasma physics. In this paper, under some condition we study the existence and nonexistence for this equations in the cases possessing different signs in nonlinear term.

EXISTENCE AND NONEXISTENCE OF GLOBAL SOLUTIONS OF THE INITIAL-BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM FOR SOME DEGENERATE HYPERBOLIC EQUATION

The author considers the global existence and global nonexistence of the initial-boundary value problem for some degenerate hyperbolic equation of the form utt- div（｜△↓｜^P-2 △↓u）=｜u｜^m u, （x,t）∈[0, ＋∞） ×Ω with p 〉 2 and m 〉 0. He deals with the global solutions by D.H.Sattinger＇s potential well ideas. At the same time, when the initial energy is positive, but appropriately bounded, the global nonexistence of solutions is verified by using the analysis method.

In this paper, a class of one-dimension p-Laplacian equation with nonlocal initial value is studied. The existence of solutions to such a problem is obtained by using the topological degree method.

Opportunities and Challenges for the Human Rights Development of Southern Countries in the Belt and Road Initiative

Human rights are of great concern to the international community, as they focus on the survival of all people and people’s right to development. The right to life is a prerequisite for the right to development. For countries of the Global South, the right to life is fundamental to development. Thus the Belt and Road Initiative put forward by the Chinese government in 2013 presents opportunities for the human rights development of Global South countries. However, several factors such as the large poverty-stricken populations, economic backwardness, and the cultural difference present challenges to the promotion of human rights ideology and culture. South-South Countries should strive to address this challenge by eliminating poverty, and strengthening communication and cooperation with developed countries promoting inter-cultural exchanges, and finally promoting South-South human rights development cooperation.

In this article, we study the initial boundary value problem of generalized Pochhammer-Chree equation utt-uxx-uxxt-uxxtt=f（u）xx,x∈Ω,t〉0,u（x,0）=u0（x）,ut（x,0）=u1（x）,x∈Ω,u（0,t）=u（1,t）=0,t≥0, where Ω = （0, 1）. First, we obtain the existence of local Wkp solutions. Then, we prove that, if f（s） ∈ Ck＋1（R） is nondecreasing, f（0） = 0 and ｜f（u）｜ ≤ C1｜u｜∫0uf（s）ds ＋ C2, u0（x）,u1（x） ∈ WkP（Ω） ∩ W01,P（Ω）, k≥ 1, 1 〈 p≤ ∞, then for any T 〉 0 the problem admits a unique solution u（x, t） ∈ W2,∞（0, T; WkP（Ω） ∩ W01,P（Ω））. Finally, the finite time blow-up of solutions and global Wkp solution of generalized IMBo equations are discussed.

ON THE GLOBAL EXISTENCE OF SMOOTH SOLUTIONS TO THE MULTI-DIMENSIONAL COMPRESSIBLE EULER EQUATIONS WITH TIME-DEPENDING DAMPING IN HALF SPACE

This paper is a continue work of [4, 5]. In the previous two papers, we studied the Cauchy problem of the multi-dimensional compressible Euler equations with time-depending damping term --u/（1＋t）λpu, where λ≥ 0 and μ 〉 0 are constants. We have showed that, for all λ ≥ 0 andμ 〉 0 the smooth solution to the Cauchy problem exists globally or blows up in finite time. In the present paper, instead of the Cauchy problem we consider the initial- boundary value problem in the half space R＋^d with space dimension d = 2, 3. With the help of the special structure of the equations and the fluid vorticity, we overcome the difficulty arisen from the boundary effect. We prove that there exists a global smooth solution for 0 ≤λ 〈 1 when the initial data is close to its equilibrium state. In addition, exponential decay of the fluid vorticity will also be established.

GLOBAL EXISTENCE AND LARGE TIME BEHAVIOR OF SOLUTION TO REACTING FLOW MODEL WITH BOUNDARY EFFECT

The initial boundary value problem (IBVP) for the 3×3 hyperbolic system of reacting flow with source term proposed by R.J.LeVeque and others (see [8]) is considered.It is shown, in the present paper, that if the initial data are a suitable perturbation of a shiftcd shock profile which is suitably away from the boundary, then there exists a unique smooth solution in R2+ to the IBVP of the 3×3 hyperbolic system, which tends to another shifted shock profile of this system as t →∞.

The Crested Ibises expanding to plain areas exhibit a higher tolerance of human proximity

Animals must strike a balance between anti-predation behavior and other essential behaviors,such as foraging.Within the same species,strategies may vary on individuals’risk-taking preferences,and in this process the environment is a determinant,in addition to predator regime.The Crested Ibis(Nipponia nippon)exhibits such tendency.This is an endangered species,once inhabiting exclusively in China’s Qinling Mountain.This used to be the sole remaining wild population.However,over recent decades,this population has expanded.A portion has relocated to breed in the lower plain area,which is characterized by elevated level of human activities and landscape complexity.We used flight initiation distance(FID)as an indicator of the ibises’risk-taking preference,particularly their response to human proximity.Additionally,we examined the environmental factors influencing their foraging site selection,including altitude,terrain openness,human activity intensity and human construction.Our findings revealed a significantly shorter FID among individuals relocating to plain habitats,indicating a higher tolerance of human proximity.The results showed that FID decreased with distance to the nearest human settlement.Another finding is that FID was independent of instant human activity intensity and environmental factors(altitude and terrain openness).These different may arise from various combinations of human activity,predation risk,and food abundance within the two habitats.These results provide insights into the in situ conservation of the threatened species within the context of global urbanization.

Non-Global Existence of Regular Solution to Initial Value Problem of Relativistic Euler Equations in R^(N)

In fluid mechanics and astrophysics,relativistic Euler equations can be used to describe the effects of special relativity which are an extension of the classical Euler equations.In this paper,we will consider the initial value problem of relativistic Euler equations in an initial bounded region of R N.If the initial velocity satisfies max→x 0∈∂Ω(0)N∑i=1 v_(i)^(2)(0,→x 0)<c^(2)A_(1)/2,where A 1 is a positive constant depend on some sufficiently large T^(*),then we can get the non-global existence of the regular solution for the N-dimensional relativistic Euler equations.

Malignant Transformation and Abnormal Expression of Eukaryotic Initiation Factor in Bronchial Epithelial Cells Induced by Cadmium Chloride

Objective To analyze the relationship between malignant transformation and abnormal expression of eukaryotic initiation factor 3 （eIF3 p36） in human bronchial epithelial （16HBE） cells induced by cadmium chloride （CdCl2）. Methods 16HBE cells were treated several times with different concentrations of CdCl2. Tumorigenic potential of transformed cells was identified by assays for anchorage-independent growth in soft agar and for tumorigenicity in nude mice after the 35th passage. Total RNA was isolated from 16HBE cells induced by CdC12, including non-transformed, Cd-transformed, and Cd-tumorigenic cell lines. Special primers for eIF3 p36 were designed and the expression of eIF3 mRNA in different cell lines was detected with fluorescent quantitative-polymerase chain reaction technique （FQ-PCR）. Results The 35th passage of 16HBE cells transformed by CdCl2 exhibited overlapping growth. Compared with the non-transformed cells, colonies of transformed cell lines in soft agar showed statistically significant increases and dose-dependent effects （P〈0.01）. All Cd-induced transformed cell lines formed rumors in nude mice within 2 weeks of inoculation, but none of the mice injected with non-transformed cells showed tumors even after 3 weeks. All tumors were pathologically identified as poorly differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. The eIF3 p36 genes in different stages of 16HBE cells transformed by CdCl2 were elevated as compared with the non-transformed control （P〈0.01）, and the eIF3 expression increased with the degree of cell malignancy. Conclusion CdCl2 is capable of inducing morphological transformation in 16HBE cells and transformed cells are potentially tumorigenic. Over-expression of eIF3 p36 is positively correlated with malignant transformation of 16HBE cells induced by CdCl2 and may be one of the molecular mechanisms potentially responsible for carcinogenesis due to Cd.
