The purpose of this study is to examine the nature and content of the rapidly evolving undergraduate Principles of Information/Cybersecurity course which has been attracting an ever-growing attention in the computing ... The purpose of this study is to examine the nature and content of the rapidly evolving undergraduate Principles of Information/Cybersecurity course which has been attracting an ever-growing attention in the computing discipline, for the past decade. More specifically, it is to provide an impetus for the design of standardized principles of Information/Cybersecurity course. To achieve this, a survey of colleges and universities that offer the course was conducted. Several schools of engineering and business, in universities and colleges across several countries were surveyed to generate necessary data. Effort was made to direct the questionnaire only to Computer Information System (CIS), Computer Science (CS), Management Information System (MIS), Information System (IS) and other computer-related departments. The study instrument consisted of two main parts: one part addressed the institutional demographic information, while the other focused on the relevant elements of the course. There are sixty-two (62) questionnaire items covering areas such as demographics, perception of the course, course content and coverage, teaching preferences, method of delivery and course technology deployed, assigned textbooks and associated resources, learner support, course assessments, as well as the licensure-based certifications. Several themes emerged from the data analysis: (a) the principles course is an integral part of most cybersecurity programs;(b) majority of the courses examined, stress both strong technical and hands-on skills;(c) encourage vendor-neutral certifications as a course exit characteristic;and (d) an end-of-course class project, remains a standard requirement for successful course completion. Overall, the study makes it clear that cybersecurity is a multilateral discipline, and refuses to be confined by context and content. It is envisaged that the results of this study would turn out to be instructive for all practical purposes. We expect it to be one of the most definitive descriptive models of such a cardinal course, and help to guide and actually, shape the decisions of universities and academic programs focusing on information/cyber security in the updating and upgrading their curricula, most especially, the foundational principles course in light of new findings that are herein articulated. 展开更多

In the paper, the authors present their experience and results related to the design and management of the on-line course "Development of e-learning resources based on the EUCIP (The European Certification of Informatics Professionals) certification scheme", which was organized under the auspices of the international Leonardo da Vinci project Sloop2desc (Sharing learning objects in an open perspective for development of European skills and competences). The course was primarily aimed at teachers of informatics. Out of 64 participants that applied for the course, slightly less than 50% managed to reach the last course module. In line with other research, the authors' experience showed that in order to minimize participants' drop-out rate, a sustained communication flow between tutors and participants was necessary and specific assignments had to be provided by the tutors, along with guidance. The authors expect the participants who successfully finished the on-line course to become a some kind of ambassadors for the introduction of the EUCIP scheme in Slovenia. 展开更多

Change of interval–force dependence of rat papillary muscles at acute and course use of amiodarone was investigated. Methods. The experiments were performed on isolated papillary muscles of Wistar rats. The extrasystolic (0,2-1,5 s), postextrasystolic contractions and post-rest (4-60 s) reactions of rat left papillary muscles perfused Krebs-Henseleit solution with amiodarone (1 μM) and papillary muscles of rat treated amiodarone in dose 20 mg/kg/day for 14 days were investigated. Results. It has been found that both acute and course use of amiodarone decreases the amplitude of extrasystolic contraction. At the same time, only acute use of amiodarone leads to additional enhancement of potentialtion of contractile response at extrasystolic impulse and performance of post-rest test. Conclusion was made, that both acute and course use of amiodarone decreases excitability of cardiomyocytes but only at course use this antiarrythmic drug increases effective refractory period of myocardium. Acute exposure of amiodarone is accompanied with change of functional state of cardiomyocyte sarcoplasmatic reticulum. 展开更多

基于“岗课赛证”融通的实践教学改革研究——以临床实践技能课程为例

目的在“岗课赛证”综合育人模式下,探索临床实践技能课程教学改革路径与实践效果。方法选取2021级临床医学专业5、6班(对照组)和2022级临床医学专业5、6班(实验组)学生为研究对象,分别采用传统教学法和基于“岗课赛证”融通的“校院一... 目的在“岗课赛证”综合育人模式下,探索临床实践技能课程教学改革路径与实践效果。方法选取2021级临床医学专业5、6班(对照组)和2022级临床医学专业5、6班(实验组)学生为研究对象,分别采用传统教学法和基于“岗课赛证”融通的“校院一体、四场联动”教学模式。课程结束后,比较两组课程考核成绩和教学满意度。结果实验组过程性考核优秀率(27.18%)显著高于对照组(14.95%),终结性考核中病史采集与病例分析、心肺听诊、体格检查、基本操作成绩以及总成绩均高于对照组,教学满意度也高于对照组(均P<0.05)。结论基于“岗课赛证”融通的“校院一体、四场联动”教学模式应用于临床实践技能课程,有助于提高学生学习积极性、参与度及教学满意度,提升教学效果。 展开更多

In maritime industry, personnel’s training is considered by shipping companies as a top priority matter on the list of factors affecting competitiveness in operating vessels. This paper presents the importance and the effects of training Electro-Technical Experts in the context of latest developments, particularly the advent of the “Electric Ship” and the “Communicative Ship” analyzing the feedback received from several relevant two-days seminars for “Ship Electrical and Electronic Systems for Electro-Technical Officers”, in North East European countries. The pre-test and post-test self assessment method that has been used for more efficient interaction between trainers and trainees is analyzed using t-statistics. The attendees have had diverse basic backgrounds, yet company experts Fleet Engineers on merchant or war ships. The training’s effectiveness and gain is discussed in this paper and further proposals for the Electrical and Electronic training are presented through the valuable feedback for improvement. 展开更多
