Home visits in brain tumor patient: how nurse and family members cooperate in tumor patient's family self-care

Purposes： We reported the roles and fimctions of nurses in home visits for brain tumor patients using the family health assessment guide in the study. Methods： One patient of brain glioma was chosen as the case illustration. The nurses assessed the patients＇ situation, their families and living environment individually. All these factors were analyzed together. Results： The nurses then implemented their knowledge and skills to adopt different measures in different conditions, investigated the patients＇ health problems and carried out personalized effective actions. Conclusions： Nurses should put effort into community nursing to allow patients to live in a safe environment, to satisfy the health needs of human being and their needs for health knowledge, and enhance their self-care abilities.

Contents of Care and Perception of Home Hospice Nurses Who Work at Visiting Medical Treatment Hospitals

Goal: The aim of this study was to examine the perception of nurses who worked at the clinic which proposed home hospice and contents of care to better understand home hospice and enhance home care. Methods: Six nurses who worked at the clinic where proposed visiting medical treatment participated voluntarily. They received one interview for approximately one hour, in which they narrated their perception of home hospice and content of nursing care. The narrative was recorded by an IC recorder and analyzed as contents analysis. This study was approved by the Ethical Board at St. Mary’s College. Results: About the content of nursing care, some categories were selected such as “Understanding a patient as a living person,” “Examining if a patient and caregiver live at ease,” or “Caring for a caregiver accepting a loved one’s death and care given at death.” Nurses perceived the theme as “Time and space for listening carefully,” the theme as “Feeling of responsibility and attractiveness of work,” the theme as the “Economics and manpower to continue home hospice,” the as a “Required connection between hospitals and home hospice clinics.” Conclusion: Visiting medical treatment nurses understand a patient and a family as living people based on intimate relationships, support them as the disease progresses, and connect to a visiting nurse station. They perceived that “patients can enjoy freedom;the nurses had responsibility and strong relationships. They felt the economic or man-power needs to continue and the requirement of a connection between hospitals and home hospice clinics.

Mother’s need of support and their expectations of the BVC nurse at the first home visit—an interview study

One of the main priorities of the child healthcare services in Sweden is a home visit by the Child Health Care (BVC) nurse to newborn babies and their parents. It is essential that the BVC nurses have a comprehensive knowledge of the parent’s need of support and their expectations as new parents in order to be able to fulfill their needs. The aim of this study was to describe what type of support the mothers of infant children are in need of and what their expectations are of the BVC nurse when it is time for the home visit from the nurse. In this qualitative study twelve women were interviewed within one to two weeks after delivering a baby. The transcripts were analyzed using qualitative content analysis. The study shows that mothers who have previously given birth to children feel more secure in their parental role compared to what they experienced as first time mothers. The findings include that first time mother’s experienced uncertainty in their new role as a mother and caring for a baby. Parents seek support from the BVC nurse and they expect her behavior and attitude towards them to be friendly and professional. The fact that she is privy to personal knowledge of the family gives the parents a feeling of security when they contact the child healthcare center for various reasons. The mother’s need for support to develop as a parent and to feel secure in the parental role was a reoccurring theme in the interviews and became the theme of the study.

Study of the Possible Use of a Home-Visit Nursing Interventional Lymphedema Care Program for Secondary Lymphedema in the Elderly at Home

Objective: This study aimed to clarify the possible use of and points to improve a home-visit nursing interventional lymphedema care program (plan) we developed. Methods: The subjects were visiting nurses with at least three years of home-visit nursing experience and experience with lymphedema care for the elderly at home. Semi-structured interviews were conducted, and the collected opinions were aggregated and summarized. Results: Based on interviews with nine subjects, opinions regarding the use of the program, such as “The assessment perspective at the time of introduction helps to grasp the needs for a wide variety of subjects”, and regarding points to improve, such as “It is necessary to set the duration and timing of the section considering the frequency of visits and degree of edema at the time of introduction” and “It is necessary to have a perspective concerning efforts to maintain motivation for care of the elderly and their families”, were aggregated. Discussion: The results of the interviews were generally useful for the structure and development of the program, care methods and content, and interventions for influencing factors. Consideration of setting the timing according to the degree of lymphedema, modification of the program’s development, development of a program that fully considers the degree of edema at the time of introduction and the acceptance of edema among the elderly, and the need to consider the care content that should be given priority were suggested as points for improvement.

Survey of Bereavement Care Provided by Home-Visit Nurses for Bereaved Families in Japan

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the implementation conditions of bereavement care for bereaved families and the relationship between demographics of home-visit nurses and rates of provision of bereavement care. Methods: A self-rating anonymous questionnaire survey was conducted with 2200 facilities randomly selected from among the members of the Home-visit Nursing Stations of the National Nursing Business Association. Calculating the rates of provision of each pre- and post-bereavement care item of the survey, we performed a multiple logistic regression analysis to investigate the relationship between the demographics of home-visit nurses and rates of provision of care. Statistical processing employed SPSS ver. 21.0 with the significance level set at 5%. Results: A total of 688 responses were collected (collection rate, 31.3%), and 649 were included in the analysis. “Approval of the care that the family has provided” and “Involvement in the care together with the family and listening to their thoughts” were frequently provided in both pre- and post-bereavement care;however, the rate of provision of “Provided continued support/life planning until the family fully recovers social life” was low. More care services were provided by home-visit nurses working in facilities with 24-hour services in pre-bereavement, and by those with longer home-visit nursing experience in post-bereavement. Conclusions: Home-visit nurses provide many post-bereavement care services. However, continued care that helps bereaved families fully recover their social life, including life planning, is less frequently provided. Bereavement care provision rates vary depending on the facility type, whether the facility offers 24-hour services, and the length of home-visit nursing experience.

Nursing Students’Clinical Learning Environment in Norwegian Nursing Homes:Lack of Innovative Teaching and Learning Strategies

Background: Nursing students hesitate to choose aged care as a career, and the aged care sectors are on an edge regarding nursing positions. Clinical learning environments may influence nursing students’ career choices. Few studies have explored learning environments in nursing homes, although students increasingly have placements there. Objectives: The aim was to produce information for developing nursing students’ learning opportunities in nursing homes. Design: A cross-sectional survey design was used. Settings: The study was conducted at a university college in southeast Norway. Participants: Students in two cohorts of a bachelor degree program in nursing participated, N = 499. Methods: Data were collected on nursing students’ perceptions of clinical learning environments during placements in five nursing homes. A 42-item validated questionnaire with the subscales personalization, individualization, involvement, task orientation, innovation, and satisfaction was used. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, t-tests, and linear regression analysis. Results: Total scores showed overall satisfaction with clinical learning environments in nursing homes. However, innovation subscale scores were very low. First year students had significantly higher scores than third year students on the total scale, and most subscales. Age was significantly associated with total scale scores and subscale satisfaction scores. Higher education and work experience before entering nursing education were significantly associated with involvement subscale scores. Conclusions: Students are more positive than negative about their clinical learning environments. Low valuation of innovation seems to be a consistent finding in studies in both nursing homes and hospitals internationally. For innovative learning strategies to function they must be anchored at the organizational level. Future research should develop and test more innovative learning strategies for nursing students.

中学家校协同育人现状与对策——基于对中学生家长的调查

采用自编《中学生家长参与家校协同育人状况调查问卷》,对江苏省、河南省和新疆维吾尔自治区41所中学2 682名学生家长进行问卷调查。研究发现,家长对家校协同育人功能认知不够到位、对家校协同育人内容认识不够全面、对家校协同育人参与度较低,主要原因是家长教育能力有限、忙于生计和重视程度不够。研究认为,提高中学生家长参与家校协同育人的水平,要加强家长对家校协同育人功能的认知,积极搭建多元化家校协同育人的沟通平台,统合资源以激发家长参与热情和利用“家长学校”提升家长的家校协同育人效能感。

中小学生心理健康问题家校协同预防的现状及对策

采用自编的《中小学生心理健康问题家校协同预防调查问卷》,对江苏省、河南省以及新疆维吾尔自治区41所中小学的3839名学生家长和1144名教师进行问卷调查,结果发现:家长和教师对学生心理健康问题家校协同预防责任的看法不够全面;家长和教师对学生心理健康问题家校协同预防方式比较单一;家长和教师参与学生心理健康问题家校协同预防程度不够;家长和教师对学生心理健康问题家校协同预防成效不够满意;影响学生心理健康问题家校协同预防成效的家长和教师因素是多方面的,能力有限是首选因素。提高中小学生心理健康问题家校协同预防成效,应形成家校协同预防共识,提升家校协同预防能力,强化家校协同预防保障机制。

乡村振兴背景下大学生返乡创业路径探析

乡村振兴是我国现阶段实施的重要战略之一,目的是为了推进乡村产业与人才结构改革,促进乡村经济可持续发展,加速城乡一体化进程。近年来,大学生返乡创业在乡村振兴中崭露头角,不仅引领着农村发展的新风貌,也缓解了城市大学生就业压力。针对大学生返乡创业面临的困境,从政府、社会、高校三个层面深入研究,准确把握现实问题,探索适合大学生回乡创业的有效途径。通过加强政策支持、建设社会支持体系、优化高校创业教育体系等多维度举措,全面激发大学生参与乡村产业发展的热情,为乡村振兴注入新的活力,进一步推动乡村发展。

“互联网+居家护理”在志愿护理服务中的应用效果

目的探讨"互联网+居家护理"在志愿护理服务中的应用效果。方法选取2020年12月至2021年12月"党群服务365平台"82例需要服务人群作为研究对象,采用随机数字表法将其分为对照组(41例)和观察组(41例)。对照组实施常规医疗服务,观察组实施"互联网+居家护理"服务,两组均持续护理12个月。比较两组的医院看病次数、医疗花费情况、日常生活能力、精神状态、照护者照护技能水平以及生活满意度。结果观察组医院看病次数、医疗花费情况均少于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组护理后日常生活活动能力量表(ADL)评分低于对照组,简易精神状态检查量表(MMSE)评分、照护技能水平评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组护理后生活满意度调查表(LSR)各项评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论通过互联网平台,护理志愿者对服务人群进行居家护理,能够改善服务人群的精神状态,促使其保持身心健康,提高生活自理能力,还能提高照护者的护理技能,一定程度上减少看病次数和医疗花费,从而提升服务人员满意度。

乡村振兴背景下高职院校学生返乡创业现状及对策研究

2023年中央一号文件指出全面建设社会主义现代化国家,把解决“三农”问题作为全党工作的重心,努力推进乡村振兴以加快农村现代化建设,而乡村增速发展则需要加强乡村人才队伍建设。在此背景下,文章对高职院校学生返乡创业现状进行调研,分析影响高职院校学生返乡创业的因素,为高职院校学生返乡创业提出对策。

农村中小学生居家体育锻炼行为与促进研究

目的:了解农村中小学生居家体育锻炼行为现况,为促进农村青少年居家体育锻炼效果与养成良好运动卫生习惯提供参考。方法:采用方便抽样的方法,选取江苏省农村中小学生1448名,利用问卷星进行居家体育锻炼行为现况问卷调查。结果:体育锻炼现状上,有30.11%的老师布置家庭体育作业、28.76%的学生认真完成家庭体育作业、96.98%的屏幕时间≥2h、15.86%的每周体育锻炼≥3次、9.21%的每次锻炼时间≥60min、41.67%的运动强度达中等以上,不同学段学生居家体育锻炼情况差异均有统计学意义(P值均<0.05);体育锻炼程序与卫生上,有36.83%的运动前热身、14.38%的运动中监测心率、40.73%的运动后放松、85.08%的饭后不立即运动、82.66%的运动中注意补水、71.24%的运动后不立即坐卧休息、77.02%的注意运动后保暖;体育锻炼动机上,有65.93%的为了增强体质、39.05%的喜欢运动、38.64%的瘦身塑形、45.23%的缓解压力、49.53%的增强抵抗力、20.09%的学校要求、11.09%的家长要求,不同学段学生居家体育锻炼动机差异均有统计学意义(P值均<0.05)。结论:农村中小学生居家体育锻炼行为与卫生状况堪忧,需特别关注对其进行体育锻炼兴趣培养与健康教育工作,促进学生养成科学居家体育锻炼的卫生习惯。

全国高职学校访企拓岗工作成效、问题分析及改进建议

以2022年度高职状态数据平台企业表、走访表、校企合作表、学生就业表等9张数据表为依据,从国家、省及学校三个层面用数据展示了1441所高职学校访企拓岗工作开展情况,从走访企业覆盖行业广、拓展优质就业岗位多,深度了解企业人才需求、提高人才供给精准性,推动校企优势互补、扩大校企合作增长极三个方面分析了高职学校访企拓岗取得的显著成效,并进一步总结了高职学校访企拓岗工作存在主观认识不足、推进合作落实不力、合作目标有差异等问题。据此,提出提高访企拓岗工作认识、加强数据调度管理、提升学校服务企业能力、健全访企拓岗工作制度、完善访企拓岗工作评价机制等改进建议。

农村籍大学生返乡就业意愿的多元驱动

对农村籍大学生返乡就业的现有研究主要涉及外部就业环境和个人特质两个方面,但少有从整体出发关注这两个方面对农村籍大学生返乡就业意愿可能存在的协同影响的研究。在前因条件分析的基础上进行调研,利用模糊集定性比较分析法对调研所得的191份农村籍在校大学生的有效样本数据进行分析,从组态视角出发探讨了外部环境和个人特质对农村籍大学生返乡就业意愿的影响。结果表明,在6条组态路径中,谋事在人型和政策助推型两种前因组态能激发农村籍大学生高返乡就业意愿。

教育数字化转型对于“家-校-社”协同育人实践变革的价值日益凸显。教育数字化转型在价值理念、问题结构、演进动力等方面为“家-校-社”协同育人提供了支撑条件和行动理据。基于对“家-校-社”协同育人的核心问题和发展机遇的研判,在其逻辑转换的基础上,探索提出“家-校-社”协同育人的实践机制,即从主体联动机制、融合共育机制以及需求驱动机制三个方面,把协同育人实践各个结构部分链接起来,使它们协调运作而发挥作用,实现协同育人工作的切实落实和实践深化,从而以高效能协同育人支撑教育高质量发展,为实现中国式教育现代化提供坚实基础与现实突破口。
