Analysis on the Way of Integrating Educational Drama into Patriotism Education for Primary School Students

In the process of patriotism education for primary school students,educational drama can play a very important role.However,the premise is that educational drama should be successfully integrated into the process of patriotism education of primary school students,instead of simply and mechanically stuffing educational drama into patriotism education of primary school students.As far as the integration mode of educational drama is concerned,educational drama can be divided into three kinds,namely,discipline-oriented drama education,infiltration-oriented drama education and activity-oriented drama.Therefore,the integration methods are also divided into three categories,namely,setting up educational drama courses,using educational drama to infiltrate patriotic education into other disciplines and carrying out activity-oriented drama education.

Study on the Aesthetic Deformation of Micro Short Drama Audience from the Perspective of Media Ecology

Micro short drama is a new form of fictional narrative in the environment of digital intelligent media,which attracts the attention of the audience in the era of fragmentation and forms an explosive growth of the industrial market with the characteristics of short content,concentrated dramatic conflict and quick plot reversal.However,the“viral”dissemination of micro short drama makes the audience’s aesthetics show the aesthetic deformation characteristics of earthy,ugly and non-reality.The article applies media ecology Neil Postman’s theories of“entertainment to death”and“technological monopoly”to observe the impact of micro short dramas on audience aesthetics in order to optimize the market of micro short dramas and guide the healthy development of audience aesthetics.

Construction and Development of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for Drama and Film and Television Disciplines

Taking the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of the Central Academy of Drama as an example,this article explores the construction and development of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center for the practical teaching of drama and film and television disciplines.The article first introduces the background and importance of the demonstration center and then analyzes in depth the construction content and achievements of the demonstration center from four aspects:practical teaching philosophy,practical teaching system,practical teaching resources,and practical teaching effects.Finally,the article summarizes the experience and shortcomings of the demonstration center and proposes future development directions and suggestions.

Application of VQ-HMM to Chinese Spoken Digit Recognition

In this paper, a new speech recognition method was proposed, which integrated a VQ distortion measure and a discrete HMM. The VQ HMM uses a VQ distortion measure at each state instead of a discrete output probability used by a discrete HMM. The VQ HMM is described, and its speech recognition performance is compared with the conventional HMMs through the experiments on speaker independent Chinese spoken digit recognition. The comparisons confirm that the new method over performed traditional HMMs.

How to Improve Spoken English Teaching through Role play in College Schools in China

Moreover, how to uses the role play specifically in the spoken English teaching, So that the role play can help teacher change traditional teaching method, enhance students’ oral communication ability, cultivate the students’learning interests and improve spoken English teaching in colleges.

Drama to Enhance the Speaking Skills of EFL/ESL Learners

The paper starts with introducing the definition of drama. Then, many drama techniques are introduced. Next, Advantages of using drama techniques are discussed. Nonetheless, some problems in using drama in ESL/EFL are pointed out. The paper concludes that drama offers a useful educational tool to support communicative language teaching for EFL/ESL learners.

RECOGNITION OF SPOKEN CHINESE DIGIT BASED ON INTEGRATION OF VQ AND HMM

A new speech recognition method is proposed, that integrates a VQ distortion measure and a discrete HMM. This VQ distortion based HMM uses a VQ distortion measure at each state instead of a discrete probability output used by a discrete HMM. Although this method is regarded as a refined version of the VQ distortion based recognition method proposed by Burton et al, it is also considered as a special case of a mixed distribution density HMM. In this paper, the VQ distortion based HMM is described, and it is compared with the conventional HMMs and their speech recognition performance through the experiments on speaker independent spoken digit recognition. From these comparisons, we confirm that the new method is better than the traditional HMMs.

Performance-oriented Drama Translation from Skopos Theory: A Case in my Chinese Translation of Translations

Based on the guidelines set by Ningbo Theatre who asked me to translate translations and features of performance-oriented drama, this commentary will deal with how I translate characters and cultural specific items from prospective of skopos theory and explain the reason why I translate it this way.I am required to present vivid characters and bridge the cultural gap while translating. During the process of translation, I try to use specific words or local dialect to differ one person from another. Sometimes, I make one person's language less colloquial which is consistent with his own personality. When encountering some cultural barriers that would make audience confused, I adopt domestication to translate the dialogue. I will add some explanatory words to make audience get to know it and free translation to avoid cultural confusion. In this commentary, six examples are given to show my strategies of translating this book.
