The structural identity of the synthesized compounds was establishe...The synthesis of new 4-imino-4H-chromeno[2,3-d]pyrimidin-3(5H)-amine in four steps including one step under microwave dielectric heating is reported. The structural identity of the synthesized compounds was established according to their spectroscopic analysis, such as FT-IR, NMR and mass spectroscopy. These new compounds were tested for their antiproliferative activities on seven representative human tumoral cell lines (Huh7 D12, Caco2, MDA-MB231, MDA-MB468, HCT116, PC3 and MCF7) and also on fibroblasts. Among them, only the compounds 6c showed micromolar cytotoxic activity on tumor cell lines (1.8 50 50 > 25 μM). Finally, in silico ADMET studies ware performed to investigate the possibility of using of the identified compound 6c as potential anti-tumor compound.展开更多
The CO2reforming of CH4is studied over MgO‐promoted Ni catalysts,which were supported on alumina prepared from hydrotalcite.This presents an improved stability compared with non‐promoted catalysts.The introduction o...The CO2reforming of CH4is studied over MgO‐promoted Ni catalysts,which were supported on alumina prepared from hydrotalcite.This presents an improved stability compared with non‐promoted catalysts.The introduction of the MgO promoter was achieved through the‘‘memory effect’’of the Ni‐Al hydrotalcite structure,and ICP‐MS confirmed that only0.42wt.%of Mg2+ions were added into the Ni‐Mg/Al catalyst.Although no differences in the Ni particle size and basicity strength were observed,the Ni‐Mg/Al catalyst showed a higher catalytic stability than the Ni/Al catalyst.A series of surface reaction experiments were used and showed that the addition of a MgO promoter with low concentration can promote CO2dissociation to form active surface oxygen arising from the formation of the Ni‐MgO interface sites.Therefore,the carbon‐resistance promotion by nature was suggested to contribute to an oxidative environment around Ni particles,which would increase the conversion of carbon residues from CH4cracking to yield CO on the Ni metal surface.?2018,Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics,Chinese Academy of Sciences.Published by Elsevier B.V.All rights reserved.展开更多

The specific objective of this study is to determine...The study aimed to determine the anthocyanin content in callus cultures of Sesbania grandiflora L. (Red Katuray) using petal explants as influenced by 2,4-D and BA. The specific objective of this study is to determine the effect of plant growth regulators specifically auxin (2,4-D) and BA (Benzyladenine) on Murashige and Skoog’s (MS) medium in anthocyanin production. Earliest callus initiation was noted in 2.5 ppm to 5.0 ppm 2,4-D without BA and 2.5 ppm 2,4-D with 2.5 ppm BA. Same treatment combination had the highest degree of callus formation and obtained the greatest percentage of callus formation 2.5 ppm 2,4-D without BA and 2.5 ppm 2,4-D with 2.5 ppm BA. The heaviest weight of callus was registered at 2.5 ppm 2,4-D without BA. Significantly higher anthocyanin content was noted in 2.5 ppm to 5.0 ppm 2,4-D without or with 2.5 ppm BA, with 2.5 and 5.0 ppm BA and with 5.0 ppm 2,4-D and 2.5 ppm BA. There is a positive relationship between callus formation and anthocyanin production. Results showed that treatments that promoted significantly greater callus formation e.g. 2.5 ppm 2,4-D alone or in combination with 2.5 ppm BA also produced the highest anthocyanin content.展开更多

Electrical conductivity of the order of 105Ω-1.m-1 and the opt...Transparent conductive cadmium indium oxide films (CdIn2O4) were prepared by r.f. reactive sputtering from Cd-In alloy targets under an Ar-O2 atmosphere. Electrical conductivity of the order of 105Ω-1.m-1 and the optical transmission as high as 94% are easily attained by postdeposition annealing treatment. The effects of oxygen concentration in the reactive gas mixture and post-deposition annealing treatment on the optical transmittance as well as optical parameters, such as refractive index (n), extinction coefficient (k), real part (ε') and imaginary part (ε') of the dielectric constant, were studied in the visible and near-infrared region. The highfrequency dielectric constant ε∞ the plasma frequency ωP, and the conduction band effective mass mc of different samples were also investigated展开更多
