A Green Synthesis of 2-Ethylanthraquinone by Dehydration of 2-(4'-ethylbenzoyl) benzoic Acid over Solid Acid Catalysts

The dehydration of 2-（4＇-ethylbenzoyl） benzoic acid （BE acid） to 2-ethylanthraquinone （2-EAQ） was investigated over solid acid catalysts. The results showed that H-beta zeolite catalyst modified by dilute HNO3 solution exhibited an excellent performance. In our study, the conversion of BE acid can reach 96.7%, and the selectivity to 2-EAQ is up to 99.6%.

Structures and Properties of Two Pb^Ⅱ Compounds and Theoretical Study of 2,4-Oxybis（benzoic acid）

Two Pb^Ⅱ coordination polymers [Pb（oba）（2,2′-bipy）]·1.5H2O（1） and [Pb（oba）（phen）]（2）（H2oba = 2,4-oxybis（benzoic acid）, 2,2′-bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline） were synthesized by hydrothermal reactions and characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analyses, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Structures of compounds 1 and 2 are similar. Compounds 1 and 2 show 1D wavy chains, which are further connected through aromatic π-π stacking interactions to expand into 2D wavelike networks. The crystal structure of 2,4-oxybis（benzoic acid） ligand（3） was obtained, and its full geometry optimization was carried out by using DFT methods at the B3LYP/6-31G（d） level. The calculated data show that the bond distances and bond angles were very close to the experimental data. The values of the frontier orbital energies indicate that this configuration is stable. Moreover, the solid-state fluorescence properties of 1-3 have also been investigated.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Luminescent Property and DNA-Binding of a Cadmium Complex with 2,4-Bis-oxyacetate-benzoic Acid

A complex [Cd2Na2（BOABA）2（H2O）8]·H2O（1） was synthesized by using 2,4-bisoxyacetate-benzoic acid（H3BOABA） and Cd（OH）2. It was characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectra, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Complex 1 shows a two-dimensional 3-connected rigid plane. The interactions between the ligand and its complex with DNA were studied by Et Br fluorescence probe. Photoluminescent studies indicate that the complex may be excellent candidates for potential photoactive materials.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 2-[(4-Methoxy- 6-methylthio-2-pyrimidinyl)aminocarbonyl- aminosulfonyl] Benzoic Acid Methyl Ester

The title compound 2-[(4-methoxy-6-methylthio-2-pyrimidinyl)aminocarbonyl- aminosulfonyl]benzoic acid methyl ester (C15H16N4O6S2, Mr = 412.44) was obtained by the reaction of (4-methoxy-6-methylthio-2-pyrimidinyl)amine with 2-methoxylcarbonylbenzene-sulfonylisocya- nate. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P21/c with a =11.169(3), b = 9.508(3), c = 17.690(5) ? b = 91.593(5), Z = 4, V = 1877.9(10) 3, Dc = 1.459 g/cm3, F(000) = 856, m(MoKa) = 0.324 mm-1, R = 0.0690 and wR = 0.1368 for 3301 observed reflections (I > 2s(I)). The N(1)H…N(3) and N(2)H…O(4) hydrogen bonds can be observed. In the molecule the phenyl plane(I), pyrimi- din-2-yl-urea bridge plane(Ⅱ) and ester plane(Ⅲ) form three conjugated systems.

Metal-organic frameworks derived from divalent metals and 4-(1H-1, 2, 4-triazol-1-yl)benzoic acid

Two inorganic-organic coordination polymers, [Cd(TBA)2]·3H2O (1) and [Cu(TBA)2]·2H2O (2) have been synthesized by reaction of the metal ions of Cd(II) and Cu(II) with the ligand HTBA [HTBA = 4- (1H-1, 2, 4-triazol-1-yl)benzoic acid] under solvothermal condition. The compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD), and thermo gravimetric analysis (TGA). The structural analyses reveal the two independent polymers exhibit different structures. Complex 1 exhibits a 3D framework with 1D channels, and complex 2 shows a 2-fold interpenetrating 3D diamond net.

Hydrothermal Syntheses and Crystal Structures of Six Complexes Constructed from 1,3,5-Benzenetricarboxylic Acid and 4'-(4-Pyridyl)-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine Mixed Ligands

Six new transition metal complexes, [Zn（HBTC）（PYTPY）]n·n PYTPY（1）, [Cu（HBTC）（PYTPY）]n·n PYTPY（2）, [Co（HBTC）（PYTPY）]n·n DMF（3）, [Mn（HBTC）（PYTPY）]n·n DMF（4）, [Cd（HBTC）（PYTPY）（H2O）]n·2nH2O（5）, and [Co（HBTC）（PYTPY）（H2O）2]（6）,（H3BTC = 1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylic acid, PYTPY = 4＇-（4-pyridyl）-2,2＇：6＇,2＇＇-terpyridine, DMF = N,N？-dimethylformamide）, have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. Complexes 1~5 all feature one-dimensional chain structures, and complex 6 exhibits a zero-dimensional structure. Complexes 1~5 present three-dimensional（3D） supramolecular frameworks via π-π stacking interactions, whenas 6 has also a 3D supramolecular structure assembled by hydrogen bonding. Meanwhile, complexes 1 ~ 6 exhibit the thermal stabilities and photoluminescent properties.

A New Luminescent Cd(Ⅱ) Coordination Polymer Constructed with 2-(Carboxymethoxy) benzoic Acid

In this work, we synthesized a new Cd（Ⅱ） coordination polymer, [Cd（L）(cmb)H;O]· H;O（1）, by using mixed 2-（carboxymethoxy）benzoic acid（H2 cmb） and typical chelating N-donor ligands 2-（2-fluoro-6-fluorophenyl）-1 H-imidazo[4,5-f][1,10]phenanthroline ligand（L）. 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 17.6150（8）, b = 9.7811（4）, c = 18.1603（8） ?, β = 118.9150（10）o, V = 2738.9（2） ?;, Z = 4, C28 H20 CdF2 N4 O7, Mr = 674.88, Dc = 1.637 g/cm3, F（000） = 1352, μ（Mo Ka） = 0.865 mm–1, R = 0.0643 and w R = 0.1976. In 1, the cmb2– anions link neighboring Cd（Ⅱ） atoms in a bis-chelating mode, yielding a one-dimensional chain structure along the b axis. The L ligands are attached on one side of the chain through chelating the Cd（Ⅱ） atoms, and are stacked with those of an adjacent chain through π-π interactions to generate a one-dimensional double-chain structure. Furthermore, the one-dimensional double-chains are stacked by C–H???π interactions between the carbon atom of L ligand and the benzene ring of cmb2–ligand to give a layer structure. Moreover, the solid state luminescent property of 1 was also investigated at room temperature.

Syntheses, Structures and Photoluminescence of the Cadmium(Ⅱ) and Copper(Ⅱ) Complexes Based on 4'-(4''-Pyridyl)-2,2':6',2''-terpyridine and 1,4-Benzenedicarboxylic Acid Ligands

Two new metal-organic complexes [Cd2（1,4-BDC）（4-pytyp）（H2O）4]·（1,4-BDC）（1） and [Cu2（1,4-BDC）（4-pytyp）2（H2O）2]·（1,4-BDC）·8H2O（2）（4-pytyp = 4＇-（4＇＇-pyridyl）-2,2＇：6＇,2＇＇-terpyridine, 1,4-H2 BDC = 1,4-benzenedicarboxylic acid） have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analysis, infrared analysis and X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The scrutiny of single-crystal structure reveals that complex 1 forms to a 3D supramolecular network linked by π-π stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds. X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that complex 2 exhibits a 3D supramolecular network linked through complicated hydrogen bonds. The thermogravimetric analysis and photoluminescent properties of 1 and 2 are discussed in detail.

An efficient route towards R-2-phenoxypropionic acid synthesis for biotransformative production of R-2-(4-hydroxyphenoxy)propionic acid

R2(4hydroxyphenoxy)propionic acid(RHPPA)is a key intermediate for the synthesis of classic herbicides with high selectivity against grassy weed.The main route for RHPPA biosynthesis is to hydroxylate the substrate R2phenoxypropionic acid(RPPA)at C4 position with microbes.In order to provide sufficient RPPA for the industrial production of RHPPA,an effective RPPA synthesis method was established and optimized in this work.The synthesis process mainly consisted of two steps:(1)synthesis of S2chloropropionic acid from Lalanine via diazotization and chlorination reactions;and(2)synthesis of RPPA from S2chloropropionic acid and phenol via etherification reaction.The optimal reaction conditions were as follows:HCl:NaNO_(2):KI:LAla=2.0:1.2:0.7:1.0(in molar),125℃reflux for 1.5 h,with KI as catalyst,and KI:S2chloropropionic acid:phenol=0.075:1.2:1.0(in molar).Under these conditions,an improved molar conversion rate(74.9%,calculated in phenol)was achieved.After extraction using anionic exchange resin Amberlite IRA400(CI),RPPA product with a purity of 95.08%was obtained.The purified RPPA was identified and evaluated in the application of the biotransformative production of RHPPA.The results indicated that the synthesized RPPA supported the RHPPA biosynthesis with a comparable yield as that of the standard RPPA.The RPPA synthesis method provided herein exhibited the advantages of low price and easy availability of raw materials,less toxicity of reagents,simple manipulations,and low equipment/instrument requirements.

A One-dimensional Cd(Ⅱ)Coordination Polymer Constructed from 1,4-Benzene-dicarboxylic Acid and 3-(2,6-Di(pyrazin-2-yl)pyridin-4-yl)-1H-indole:Synthesis,Structure and Photoluminescence

A new coordination polymer {[Cd（C_（21）H_（14）N_6）（C_8H_4O_4）]·H_2O}_n（1） was synthesized by an elaborate design via the reaction of 3-（2,6-di（pyrazin-2-yl）pyridin-4-yl）-1H-indole（bppi）,1,4-benzene-dicarboxylic acid（H2bdc） and cadmium（Ⅱ） nitrate in CH_3OH/H_2O mixed solvents. Complex 1 crystallizes in orthorhombic,space group Ccca with a = 20.012（4）,b = 31.881（6）,c = 19.808（4） ？,V = 12638（4） ？~3,Z = 16,C_（29）H_（20）CdN_6O_5,M_r = 644.91,D_c = 1.356 g·cm^（-3）,μ = 0.735 mm^（-1）,F（000） = 5184,GOOF = 1.046,the final R = 0.0405 and wR = 0.1063 for 6870 observed reflections（I 〉 2σ（I））. The Cd（Ⅱ） centre is hepta-coordinated by three N and four O atoms from one bppi terminal ligand and two bdc2– ligands,respectively,displaying a capped trigonal prism geometry. Structure extension gives coordination polymeric chains,in which the bdc2– linkers connect Cd（Ⅱ） cations into a one-dimensional（1D） coordination polymer along the c axis,giving zigzag chains with the Cd···Cd separation of 11.178（1） ？. The adjacent bppi terminal ligands in the chains are anti-periplanar conformation. The three-dimensional（3D） structure is stabilized by π···π stacking and hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a supramolecular self-penetrating network with 1D channels. In 1,there are voids 2999.7 ？~3 with 23.7% of per unit cell volume. Thermal analysis indicates that the framework of 1 is stable until 651 K and the photoluminescence of 1 in the solid shows very weak fluorescence at 382 and 560 nm upon excitation at 310 nm.

Enantioselective esterification of(R,S)-2-(4-methylphenyl)propionic acid via Novozym 435:Optimization and application

This paper reports on the resolution of(R,S)-2-(4-methylphenyl)propionic acid(MPPA)enantiomers by enzymatic esterification in organic solvent.Novozym 435(CALB)has the best catalytic performance compared with other lipases.Of the alcohols screened,n-hexanol is the best acyl acceptor and gives the highest enzyme activity and enantioselectivity in n-hexane.Response surface methodology(RSM)was used to evaluate the influence of the factors,such as temperature,enzyme amount,substrate concentration and reaction time on the substrate conversion(c)and enantiomeric excess(ee).The correlation coefficient R2 for enantiomeric excess and the conversion are 0.9827 and 0.9910,respectively,indicating that can accurately predict the experimental results.By simulation and optimization,the optimal conditions were obtained,involving 600 mmol·L^-1 MPPA concentration(0.60 mmol),850 mmol·L^-1 hexanol concentration(0.85 mmol),58 mg enzyme amount,75℃temperature and 4.5 h reaction time,respectively.Under the optimized conditions,the experimental values of conversion and enantiomeric excess were 89.34%and 97.84%,respectively,which are in good agreement with the model predictions.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of 4-(4,6-dimethoxyl -pyrimidin-2-yl)-3-thiourea Carboxylic Acid Methyl Ester

The title compound 4-（4,6-dimethoxylpyrimidin-2-yl）-3-thiourea carboxylic acid methyl ester was synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-4,6-dimethoxyl pyrimidine, potassium thiocyanate and methyl chloroformate in ethyl acetate. Single crystals suitable for X-ray measurement were obtained by recrystallization with the solvent of dimethyl formamide at the room temperature. The structure was characterized by elemental analysis and IR and determined by X-ray diffraction analysis＇ Crystallographic data： C9H12N4O4S, Mr = 272.29, monoclinic, space group C2/m with a = 1.6672（3）, b = 0.66383（12）, c = 1.1617（2） nm, β = 109.275（2）°, V = 1.2136（4） nm^3, Dc = 1.490 g/cm^3,μ = 0.281 mm^-1, F（000） = 568, Z = 4, R1 = 0.0341and wR2 = 0.1042.

有机酸改性Hβ沸石催化剂上2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸脱水闭环合成2-乙基蒽醌

采用柠檬酸等有机酸对Hβ沸石样品进行改性,研究了改性后Hβ沸石样品在2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸(BEA)脱水闭环合成2-乙基蒽醌(2-EAQ)反应中的催化性能.采用X射线衍射、X射线荧光光谱、红外光谱、核磁共振和程序升温脱附方法对催化剂进行了表征.结果表明,有机酸改性没有破坏Hβ沸石样品的骨架结构,但其有序度和结晶度均有不同程度的降低,而且酸量明显减少;其中草酸改性后的催化剂脱铝严重.柠檬酸、酒石酸、苹果酸和丙二酸改性后的Hβ沸石样品在合成2-EAQ的反应中有较好的反应性能,以其为催化剂,BEA的转化率和2-EAQ的选择性均在95.0%以上.

柠檬酸改性的H-Beta上2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸的脱水反应(英文)

以改性的H-beta沸石分子筛为催化剂,代替传统的浓硫酸或发烟硫酸催化剂,使2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸脱水闭环生成2-乙基蒽醌是一条清洁生产路线.其中柠檬酸改性的H-beta催化剂表现出很好的催化性能,可以明显降低反应温度,缩短反应时间.在柠檬酸改性的H-beta催化剂上,当反应温度为529 K,反应时间为60 min时,2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸的转化率为99.5%,2-乙基蒽醌的选择性可达97.2%;而在未经柠檬酸改性的H-beta催化剂上,当反应温度为550 K,反应时间为60 min时,2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸的转化率只有81.6%,2-乙基蒽醌的选择性为96.4%.

柠檬酸浸渍改性H-β沸石对2-(4＇-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸脱水合成2-乙基蒽醌反应的催化性能

采用浸渍法制备了柠檬酸改性的H-β沸石催化剂,采用X射线衍射、X射线荧光、红外光谱、核磁共振和程序升温脱附方法对催化剂进行了表征,并考察了催化剂对2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸(EBA)脱水合成2-乙基蒽醌(EAQ)反应的催化性能.结果表明,经柠檬酸改性没有破坏H-β沸石的骨架结构,但其酸量明显减少.柠檬酸浸渍改性后未经水洗的催化剂上有较多的非骨架铝及柠檬酸残留;水洗至中性的催化剂在EBA脱水合成EAQ反应中有较好的催化性能,EBA转化率可高达96.5%,EAQ选择性可高达96.0%.

Hβ沸石催化剂酸性及晶粒尺寸对2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸脱水闭环反应的影响

采用4种不同硅/铝比(n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3))β沸石经柠檬酸改性制备了4种催化剂。采用XRF、XRD、NH3-TPD和SEM等方法对催化剂进行了表征。并将它们用于2-(4′-乙基苯甲酰基)苯甲酸(BEA)脱水闭环合成2-乙基蒽醌(2-EAQ)反应,考察其催化性能。结果表明,在较低反应温度(230℃)下,4种催化剂样品的活性差别很大,n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3)=25的催化剂样品上反应物BEA的转化率为82.2%,而n(SiO2)/n(Al2O3)=38的催化剂样品上BEA的转化率仅为30.3%;在较高反应温度(258℃)下,4种催化剂样品的活性差别较小。结果还表明,β沸石的酸性质对催化剂的催化性能有一定影响,而催化剂晶粒尺寸对其催化性能影响较大,晶粒小,扩散容易,反应活性高;反之,活性较低。

2-(4-氟代苯甲酰基)苯甲酸-铕配合物的合成、结构表征及荧光性能的研究

以硝酸铕、2-（4-氟代苯甲酰基）苯甲酸（HL）、1,10-菲咯啉（Phen）和三苯基氧膦（TPPO）合成了EuL3（H2O）6,EuL3Phen（H2O）4和EuL3（TPPO）（H2O）5三种固态配合物。用元素分析、红外光谱、核磁共振氢谱对配合物进行了组分确定和结构表征。IR表明,2-（4-氟代苯甲酰基）苯甲酸与Eu^3＋形成配合物后,位于1 692 cm^-1处羧基的νC O峰消失,2 500-3 200 cm^-1处羧基的νO—H峰也消失,出现了羧酸盐特有的反对称伸缩振动吸收峰（aνs（CO2^-））和对称伸缩振动吸收峰（sν（CO2-））,且Δν（aνs（CO2^-）-sν（CO2^-））与钠盐的Δν相近,说明羧酸根与Eu^3＋以对称双齿桥式配位。在1H NMR中,形成配合物后第一配体苯环上的质子峰变为宽峰且移向高场,Phen和TPPO中质子化学位移移向低场。室温下测定了配合物的荧光激发光谱和发射光谱,激发光谱表明配合物EuL3（H2O）6,EuL3Phen（H2O）4和EuL3（TPPO）（H2O）5的最佳激发波长分别为353.0,355.0和357.0 nm;发射光谱均显示Eu^3＋离子的特征发射光谱,且表明Phen对Eu3＋离子的荧光发射有明显增强作用。

Pig Liver Esterase-catalyzed Hydrolysis of Three Diesters of meso-Bicyclic Dicarboxylic Acid and Three Tetraesters of Tetrahydrofuran -2,3,4,5-tetracarboxylic Acid

Three diesters of exo- syn-meso-oxabicyclo (2, 2, 1 ) -hept- 5- ene- 2, 3- dicarboxylic acid and three tetraesters of tetrahydrofuran-2, 3, 4, 5-tetracarboxylic acid were synthesized and tested with enantioselective hydrolysis catalyzed by pig liver esterase(PLE). The results of the PLEcatalyzed hydrolysis were discussed.

One-pot synthesis of 2-(1-acyloxypentyl)benzoic acids

A one-pot synthesis of 2-（1-acyloxypcntyl） benzoic acids by trapping the carboxylatc/alkoxide dianion with acylating reagents following Grignard addition with n-BuMgBr to 2-formylbcnzoic acid was described. Compared with routine synthetic method, this novel procedure has the advantage of convenient operation and higher yields.

2,4,6-三溴-3-羟基苯甲酸的合成

2,4,6-三溴-3-羟基苯甲酸是一种高灵敏度替代酶法测定Trinder反应中苯酚的理想色原剂,合成方法多种.文中以间氨基苯甲酸为原料,经溴代、重氮、水解三步反应合成2,4,6-三溴-3-羟基苯甲酸,并采用IR、1H NMR和13C NMR对产物结构进行了表征.探讨了合成过程中硫酸用量、亚硝酸钠用量及温度对重氮硫酸盐合成的影响,以及水解过程中酸浓度及重氮硫酸盐滴加速率对产物产率的影响.在最佳合成条件下,产率可达93.4%,纯度99.7%.
