Characteristics of road landscaping were analyzed,as a kind of "linear" landscaping,it could be classified into urban street landscaping,urban ring road and expressway landscaping.Differences between road landscaping projects and other garden landscaping projects or construction projects were analyzed.Landscaping project for the South 3rd Ring Road of Xi'an City(in Yanta District)was taken for an example to summarize construction experience,discuss present conditions and features of garden landscaping supervision in China.The artistic and physiological properties of garden landscaping,as well as the supervision during maintenance period were stressed,but it was also pointed out that garden landscaping supervision in China was actually not given sufficient attention.On this basis,key points in the supervision of road landscaping project were proposed:understanding design ideas,selection of landscape plants,quality control of concealed works,prevention and control of diseases and insects,construction safety management and overall image;only by effectively implementing these key points,a high-quality road landscaping project could be realized to improve the image of a city and beautify its environment. 展开更多

This study proposes a detailed concept of how landscape changes can be transferred and communicated in a 3D environment using the storytelling approach. In 2018, Mocnik and Fairbairn argued that maps are good for representing a geographic space but texts have a better benefit than maps for telling a story [1]. A framework is presented on how a landscape change can be retrieved out of textual descriptions. A prototype of a 3D model with a projection on top of it was developed. The case study tells the story of the landscape change in the city of Pristina. The key element of the visualization is a timeline. Several media like cadastral maps, orthophotos, texts, graphics, and background sound are used and combined in an animated light show and the visualization was evaluated within a user study. 展开更多

Mountainous regions have disadvantages in economic development because of harsh physical and climatic conditions.However,winter tourism activities are one of the key components for supporting economic development in the highlands.Establishing a ski resort area supports direct and indirect employment in a region,and it stops immigration from mountainous regions to other places.This research aimed to assess the potential ski areas using a multi criteria evaluation technique in the Van region which is located in the eastern part of Türkiye.In this context,snow cover duration,sun effect,slope,slope length,elevation,population density,distance from main roads and lake visibility were used as input factors in the decision making process.Each factor was standardized using a fuzzy technique based on existing well-known ski centers in Türkiye.The weight of inputs was defined by applying a survey to the professional skiers.The most important factors were detected as transportation opportunities and snow covers whereas,the least important factors were elevation and population density.Additionally,lake visibility was very important to make a difference from other existing facilities in the region.Therefore,it was included as constraints and lake visible areas were extracted at the final stage of the research.Potential ski areas were mapped in three levels as professional,intermediate and beginner skiers.One of the suitable areas was selected as a sample projection and for the 3D simulation of the ski investment area.Potential costs and benefits were discussed.It was found that a ski tourism area investment can be amortized in 3 years in the region. 展开更多

城市绿地能够改善城市区域环境污染进而提高人居环境质量。以北京奥林匹克森林公园绿地为例,选定典型植物群落结构、群落类型及景观环境样点,基于多年连续动态持续测定并选取典型年度数据(2020年),分析和阐释该公园绿地区域PM_(2.5)、O_... 城市绿地能够改善城市区域环境污染进而提高人居环境质量。以北京奥林匹克森林公园绿地为例,选定典型植物群落结构、群落类型及景观环境样点,基于多年连续动态持续测定并选取典型年度数据(2020年),分析和阐释该公园绿地区域PM_(2.5)、O_(3)及PM_(2.5)-O_(3)复合污染空间分异特征。结果表明,公园绿地不同群落结构区域的PM_(2.5)浓度,乔灌草/乔灌/乔草结构低于灌草/草本地被结构;不同群落类型区域的PM_(2.5)浓度,常绿针叶型/针阔叶混交型/落叶阔叶型低于草本地被/灌丛;不同典型景观环境中,复层群落结构/双层群落结构/滨水植物群落/滨水广场区域的PM_(2.5)浓度要低于单层群落结构。试验中,不同群落结构、类型以及景观环境区域的O_(3)浓度均高于100μg·m^(-3)且样点间未呈现显著差异;以PM_(2.5)-O_(3)复合污染值为主要参数的空气质量评价值(AQI)达到“中度污染”等级,此结果值得进一步关注。以期为基于循证设计的功能型城市绿地规划设计及更新优化提供基础科学依据。 展开更多

Data acquisition and modeling are the two important, difficult and costful aspects in a Cybercity project. 2D-GIS is mature and can manage a lot of spatial data. Thus 3D-GIS should make the best of data and technology of 2D-GIS. Construction of a useful synthetic environment requires integration of multiple types of information like DEM, texture images and 3D representation of objects such as buildings. In this paper, the method for 3D city landscape data model and visualization based on integrated databases is presented. Since the data volume of raster are very huge, special strategies(for example, pyramid gridded method) must be adopted in order to manage raster data efficiently. Three different methods of data acquisition, the proper data structure and a simple modeling method are presented as well. At last, a pilot project of Shanghai Cybercity is illustrated. 展开更多

The landscape pattern metrics can quantitatively describe the characteristics of landscape pattern and are widely used in various fields of landscape ecology.Due to the lack of vertical information,2D landscape metrics cannot delineate the vertical characteristics of landscape pattern.Based on the point clouds,a high-resolution voxel model and several voxel-based 3D landscape metrics were constructed in this study and 3D metrics calculation results were compared with that of 2D metrics.The results showed that certain quantifying difference exists between 2D and 3D landscape metrics.For landscapes with different components and spatial configurations,significant difference was disclosed between 2D and 3D landscape metrics.3D metrics can better reflect the real spatial structure characteristics of the landscape than 2D metrics. 展开更多

本文利用3S技术,通过对1975、1985、1995和2005年的内蒙古奈曼旗TM影像的解译,提取出近30年来该地区耕地动态变化的信息。从耕地数量、变化速率以及耕地空间格局动态变化等方面对耕地的动态变化进行了全面的分析,并对其驱动机制进行了... 本文利用3S技术,通过对1975、1985、1995和2005年的内蒙古奈曼旗TM影像的解译,提取出近30年来该地区耕地动态变化的信息。从耕地数量、变化速率以及耕地空间格局动态变化等方面对耕地的动态变化进行了全面的分析,并对其驱动机制进行了探讨。研究表明:近30年来,奈曼旗耕地面积呈增加趋势,而变化速度呈下降趋势;耕地主要向林地和固定沙丘地转化;耕地连通性指数、破碎度指数的变化呈波动趋势;耕地斑块数量的变化趋势与破碎度指数相同;耕地的分形维数随着人为干扰程度的增加呈现出逐渐降低的趋势。耕地在整个景观中的影响作用逐渐加强。耕地动态变化的主要驱动因素是耕地需求增加与土地退化之间的矛盾。 展开更多

Virtual landscape roaming system is of vital value and significance to the improvement of design process, optimization of design scheme, shortening of design cycle and increase of engineering quality, and meanwhile can provide a good opportunity for the display and publicity of garden landscape. By taking a landscape scene for example, the plane graph of the scene has been made by using CAD, which then has been imported in 3ds Max to construct the scene model. By combining with interactive virtual technology Virtools, landscape virtual roaming system has been developed. Finally, the paper has introduced the allocation requirements for the software and hardware, installation conditions and advantages of Virtools, matters needing attention in the modeling of 3ds Max, and the basic process for its development. 展开更多

Urban planning has become a widely concern for minimizing the negative effects of urban expansion on terrestrial ecosystems. We developed an interdisciplinary modeling framework to evaluate the effectiveness and shortcomings of urban expansion management strategies. A three-step method was applied to Yinchuan Plain in the northwestern of China, including(1)analyzing the relationship between landscape pattern and ecosystem service values through mathematical statistics;(2) predicting landscape pattern and ecosystem services change under different scenarios based on cellular automaton model(SLEUTH-3r model); and(3) designing and validating optimized scenario through integrating historical analysis experiments and future multi-comparison suggestions. Results have suggested that landscape composition and configuration can significantly affect regional ecosystem service values, especially the connectivity and shape of landscape. Compact urban growth policy and medium environment protection policy are the appropriate setting for urban expansion plan. Optimization validation of the combined designed scenario implied the reliability of this method. Our results highlighted the significance of integrating application of landscape pattern analysis, ecosystem service value evaluation,model simulation and multi-scenario prediction in urban planning. 展开更多

Study on landscape spatial pattern in the center of Chengdu City is based on the Landsat-8 image by using 3S technique and spatial pattern analysis software Fragstats 3.3. The results showed that there covered an area of 193.92 km<sup>2</sup> in the center of Chengdu City. 55.24% of the total area was made up of buildings, covering an area of 107.12 km<sup>2</sup>, and the overall landscape of impervious ground-based. There were 22,666 patches;29.67% of the patches were roads. The human interference of buildings, roads and green space was a maximum;fragmentation of the highest was green space. The fragmentation of overall urban landscape was high;the diversity was low;the value of Shannon’s diversity index was 0.63;the value of Shannon’s evenness index was 0.70. All kinds of landscape distribution were not balanced, and lack of connectivity. This research puts important reference for creating good urban landscape space and restoring the natural ecological environment in the western regions of China. 展开更多

Land use and land cover change is one of the important topics in the global change study with the development of satellite-based remote sensing technologies.This study employed 3D landscape pattern metrics to analyze the dynamics of land cover types around Heaven Lake in Changbai Mountain area from 2010 to 2015.The results indicated that forest land occupied the most proportion and increased from 61.9%in 2010 to 66%in 2015 due to government forest protection policy.The mean elevation of vegetation,including agriculture,fo-rest,grass and shrub was much lower compared with other land cover types(water,wetland,imperious land and bare land)in both 2010 and 2015.The elevation of agriculture land increased from 1700 m in 2010 to 1890 m in 2015 a decreased land proportion.Considering the adjacent relationship between the local agriculture land and forest land,the transformation from agriculture land to forest land was obvious in the lower elevation area.The study showed that the selected 3D landscape pattern metrics had the ability and efficiency to describe the spatiotemporal variations of mountainous landscape,and significant correlation existed between land cover and local terrain. 展开更多
