The anisotropic continuum stored energy density (ACSED) functional is applied for accurate constitutive modeling of biological tissues and finite element implementation without the isochoric—volumetric split, the anisotropic—isotropic split, or the anisotropic invariant split. Related stress and elasticity tensors in the reference and current configurations are worked out. A new kinematic model is derived based on the tangent Poisson’s ratio as a cubic polynomial function of stretch. The ACSED model, along with the kinematic model, accurately fits uniaxial extension test data for compressible human skin, bovine articular cartilage, and human aorta samples. 展开更多

An approach is presented for computing the adjoint operator vector of a class of nonlinear (that is, partial-nonlinear) operator matrices by using the properties of conjugate operators to generalize a previous method proposed by the author. A unified theory is then given to solve a class of nonlinear (partial-nonlinear and including all linear) and non-homogeneous differential equations with a mathematical mechanization method. In other words, a transformation is constructed by homogenization and triangulation, which reduces the original system to a simpler diagonal system. This paper discusses a distributed decision procedure for determining the electricity price for a real-time electricity market in an energy management system. The price decision algorithm proposed in this paper derives the optimal electricity price while considering the constraints of a linearized AC power grid model. The algorithm is based on the power demand-supply balance and voltage phase differences in a power grid. In order to determine the optimal price that maximizes the social welfare distributively and to improve the convergence speed of the algorithm, the proposed algorithm updates the price through the alternating decision making of market participants. In this paper, we show the convergence of the price derived from our proposed algorithm. Furthermore, numerical simulation results show that the proposed dynamic pricing methodology is effective and that there is an improvement in the convergence speed, as compared with the conventional method. 展开更多
