Design of Experimental System of USB Data Acquisition Card-based Temperature Acquisition

In order to design a more efficient and more convenient temperature acquisition system, an approach combining USB data acquisition card with K type thermocouple temperature sensor is proposed under the circumstance of LabVIEW 2012 programming software. Firstly, the LabVIEW 2012 programming software is used to complete a temperature acquisition control program. Secondly, K type thermocouple temperature sensor is employed to transfer the temperature information. Thirdly, Then the USB data acquisition card can collect the voltage of K type thermocouple temperature sensor and convert it to a temperature scale. And, the simplification of experimental procedure can reduce the cost of development greatly. Finally, the experimental results illustrate that the range of measurement temperature is more wide and the temperature scale is more accurate.

A New Multi-platform Data Acquisition System for Power Quality Metrological Certification

In order to provide power quality monitoring activities with metrological certification, a DAS （data acquisition system） has been designed, realized and characterized. The system allows acquisition on tri-phases plus neutral lines picking up 499 samples per period of the fundamental at 50 Hz. To ensure certified measurements, the system gets external certified time and voltage references. The system uses a FTDI Virtual Com Port Driver to communicate data over High Speed RS232 virtual interface and it does not need any advanced programming skill. The choice to use a virtual serial communication makes the data acquisition software portable over many platforms, regardless by the development environment and by the programming language. To test the proposed device some custom software have been written in many programming language （C^#, VB6, LabView, MatLab）, moreover in order to characterize the device the most common ADC （analog to digital converter） performing test have been applied.

Research on Testing System for Three-dimensional Distribution of Luminous Intensity of LED

In terms of asymmetrical three-dimensional distribution(ID) of luminous intensity(LI) of light-emitting-diode(LED),a testing system was conducted in this study. Design and principle of the testing system were introduced. 31 photometers were placed on a concentric circle,and all of them were used to gather LI data of LED at the same time. The data acquisition card(DAC) was used to gather multichannel data and controlled motor. Experimental results indicated that the testing system had achieved the goal of testing three-dimensional distribution of LI. And each parameter could meet the requirements of industrial production and measurement.

Intelligent Control System of Textile Mill's Air-conditioning

This paper briefly analyzes the present situation of textile mill＇s air-conditioning system. Since it is difficult to establish detailed math model to control a textile mill＇s airconditioning system because of the influence of various factors such as the differences in seasons, regions, etc., most air-conditioning equipment can not be controlled automatically. This paper suggests utilizing multi-function data acquisRion card to collect the data about the temperature and humidity of a workshop, processing the data on a PC, comparing them with the expert database, and then using the 485 serial port expanding module to output the parameters, which are used to control the inverter, so that the purpose of adjusting the temperature and humidity of the workshop is achieved.

The Development and Application of Color Doppler Ultrasound Image-text Management System

In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of the existing ultrasonic image management system are analyzed, and also a multi-functional color Doppler ultrasound image-text management system is researched and developed in combination with the experience of color Doppler ultrasound doctors. With this system, the related operations such as color Doppler ultrasound images acquisition, processing, preservation, and medical records are implemented. In the design of the system, a professional acquisition card is used for implementing the acquisition of ordinary video signals. In the meantime, DICOM interface is designed using DICOM3.0 protocol for implementing multi-mode acquisition.

Performance Analysis of Robotic Arm Manipulators Control System under Multitasking Environment

This work is to observe the performance of PC based robot manipulator under general purpose （Windows）, Soft （Linux） and Hard （RT Linux） Real Time Operating Systems （OS）. The same open loop control system is observed in different operating systems with and without multitasking environment. The Data Acquisition （DAQ, PLC-812PG） card is used as a hardware interface. From the experiment, it could be seen that in the non real time operating system （Windows）, the delay of the control system is larger than the Soft Real Time OS （Linux）. Further, the authors observed the same control system under Hard Real Time OS （RT-Linux）. At this point, the experiment showed that the real time error （jitter） is minimum in RT-Linux OS than the both of the previous OS. It is because the RT-Linux OS kernel can set the priority level and the control system was given the highest priority. The same experiment was observed under multitasking environment and the comparison of delay was similar to the preceding evaluation.
