Generalizable items of quantitative and qualitative cornerstones for personnel requirement of physicians in anesthesia

Anesthesiologists perform a broad spectrum of tasks. However, in many countries, there is no legal basis for personnel staffing of physicians in anesthesia. Also, the German diagnosis related groups system for refunding does not deliver such a basis. Thus, in 2006 a new calculation base for the personnel requirement that included an Excel calculation sheet was introduced by the German Board of Anesthesiologists(BDA) and the German Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine(DGAI), and updated in 2009 and 2015. Oriented primarily to organizational needs, in 2015, BDA/DGAI defined quantitative and qualitative cornerstones for personnel requirement of physicians in anesthesia, especially reflecting recent laws governing physician's working conditions and competence in the field of anesthesia, as well as demands of strengthened legal rights of patients, patient care and safety. We present a workload-oriented model, integrating core working hours, shift work or standby duty, quality of care, efficiency of processes, legal, educational, controlling, local, organizational and economic aspects for calculating personnel demands. Auxiliary tables enable physicians to calculate personnel demands due to differing employee workload, non-patient oriented tasks and reimbursement of full-equivalents due to parental leave, prohibition of employment, or longterm illness. After 10 years of experience with the first calculation tool, we report the generalizable key aspects and items of a necessary calculation tool which may help physicians to justify realistic workload-oriented personnel staffing demands in anesthesia. A modular, flexiblenature of a calculation tool should allow adaption to the respective legal and organizational demands of different countries.

On the Assessment of Generative AI in Requirements Analysis and Modeling Tasks with UML:An Exploratory Study

Generative AI is rapidly employed by software developers to generate code or other software artifacts.However,the analysis and assessment of generative AI with respect to requirements analysis and modeling tasks,especially with UML,has received little attention.This paper investigates the capabilities of generative AI to aid in the creation of three types of UML models:UML use case models,class diagrams,and sequence diagrams.For this purpose,we designed an AI-aided UML modeling task in our course on software requirements modeling.50 undergraduates who majored in Software Engineering at Wuhan University completed the modeling task and the corresponding online survey.Our findings show that generative AI can help create these three types of UML models,but its performance is limited to identifying essential modeling elements of these UML models.

Construction of Psychological Adjustment Function Model of Music Education Based on Emotional Tendency Analysis

In the face offierce competition in the social environment,mental health problems gradually get the attention of the public,in order to achieve accurate mental health data analysis,the construction of music education is based on emotional tendency analysis of psychological adjustment function model.Design emotional tendency analysis of music education psychological adjustment function architecture,music teaching goal as psychological adjust-ment function architecture building orientation,music teaching content as a foundation for psychological adjust-ment function architecture and music teaching process as a psychological adjustment function architecture building,music teaching evaluation as the key of building key regulating function architecture,Establish a core literacy oriented evaluation system.Different evaluation methods were used to obtain the evaluation results.Four levels of psychological adjustment function model of music education are designed,and the psychological adjust-ment function of music education is put forward,thus completing the construction of psychological adjustment function model of music education.The experimental results show that the absolute value of the data acquisition error of the designed model is minimum,which is not more than 0.2.It is less affected by a bad coefficient and has good performance.It can quickly converge to the best state in the actual prediction process and has a strong con-vergence ability.

The Impact of Education on Innovative Economy Polish Experiences

Methods and concepts of innovation performance are widely analyzed, discussed, and evaluated. The influence of educational management on the creation of innovative economy is not widely described in literature, however, procedures of innovation performance include the measures of educational elements. The paper discusses the methodology of European Innovation Scoreboard （EIS） and Innovation Union Scoreboard （IUS） in the aspect of education for innovative economy. Educational indicators in EIS/IUS methodology are quantitative and do not include information about the quality of education. Researchers agreed that innovation processes and economical growth require well-educated and skilled workforce and they assume that skilled workers are on output of the educational system. The measurement system of innovations in Europe includes various economical aspects, allows to observe trends and gives opportunity to improvement for countries and is directed on future educational effects. Quantitative indicators allow to observe trends, educational needs, desires of pupils, and their parents. The efficiency of these indicators is presented on the example of Poland. Educational indicators to improve innovation performance should be very synthetic, but cannot lose important information. The article presents author＇s research on graduate career paths and suggests to include elements of this methodology in the measurement system of innovation economy.

Dynamic Balancing Structure Optimal Design for the Rotating Arc Sensor

Rotating arc sensor is a key device for automation welding. The vibration has a big influence on signal's correct collection and reliable automatic welding. In order to solve the vibration problem and the dynamic balancing design with the restricted space,a bearing force analysis based dynamic balancing structure optimal design is proposed and implemented with the help of Pro/Engineer( PROE) and automatic dynamic analysis of mechanical systems( ADAMS) virtual prototype technology, in which three parameters of the counterbalance are considered. The method is suitable for the practical online adjustment. The simulation result shows that optimal design based counterbalance structure and parameters can satisfy the space requirement with lower vibration. The methodology provides a new idea for dynamic balancing design and adjustment of rotating arc sensor with adjustable rotation radius.

Empirical Research on the Status Quo of Teachers of Common Required Courses in Vocational Higher Education Institutions

In order to build a high-quality team of teachers in vocational higher education institutions, and investigate the current situation of teachers of common required courses in vocational higher education institutions of Hainan Province, an empirical research is conducted. A questionnaire survey was carried out in aspects of satisfaction of teaching and scientific research, professional quality, work saturation and teacher’s job satisfaction. The research results shows that the professional quality of teachers of common required courses cannot significantly influence the satisfaction of teaching and scientific research;Job saturation can positively influence teaching and research satisfaction;teaching and research satisfaction can positively influence teachers’ job satisfaction.

中国行将“入世”。加入ＷＴＯ，将激活我国的就业市场，我国传统劳动密集型行业受益最多，相关专业人才需求大幅上升；我国第三产业特别是服务行业将更加快速发展，与第三产业相关的专业人才需求持续增加；我国原有的资本密集型和技术密集行业受到挑战．相关专业人才需求下降。就业市场的变化必然对人才的数量、质量、结构带来影响，进而影响培养人才的高等教育结构的调整。高等教育应该主动从型式结构、学科专业结构和层次结构进一步调整和优化，以适应社会对人才的需求。

Determination of correlation of Adjusted Blood Requirement Index with outcome in patients presenting with acute variceal bleeding

AIM： To determine the correlation of Adjusted Blood Requirement Index （ABRI） with the 7th day outcome in patients presenting with acute variceal bleeding.METHODS： All patients presenting with acute variceal hemorrhage （AVH） were included. Patients with previous band ligation, sclerotherapy, gastrointestinal or hepatic malignancies were excluded. Patients were managed as per standard protocol for AVH with terlipressin and band ligation. ABRI scores were calculated using the formula outcome of alive or expired up to the 7th day after treatment. The correlation between ABRI and mortality was estimated and a receiver operative characteristic （ROC） curve was plotted.RESULTS： A total of 113 patients （76 male; 37 female） were included. On assessment, 18 were in Child＇s Pugh Class A, 82 in Class B and 13 were in Class C. The median number of blood units transfused ± inter-quartile range was 3.0 ± 2.0. The median ± inter-quartile range for ABRI was 1.3 ± 1.1. The ROC curve of ABRI for expiry showed a significantly large area of 0.848 （P 〈 0.0001; 95% CI： 0.75-0.95）. A significant correlation of log transformation of ABRI with an outcome of mortality was present （P 〈 0.0001）.

Evaluation of a model for providing cost effective,accessible continuing education to the forensic science community

This study presents a detailed model and its subsequent assessment for the development and optimized delivery of continuing education for the forensic science community.Online continuing education is on the rise as this modality of content dissemination allows for accessibility,convenience,and affordability.The model,which includes an educational needs assessment,gap analysis,online content delivery and archival,was evaluated through the launch of a global training event/symposium series.The four-year study of over 6000 participants representing>75 countries provides empirical support for the model based upon registration/attendance data and participant self-assessment surveys.Best practices are identified relative to content and format,operational excellence,technology,and financing of the event.Future directions along with opportunities to further enhance the model are also discussed.

基于预防医学专业核心价值的课程思政教育研究

目前,疾病防控与健康促进对预防医学专业教育教学改革提出了新要求。在分析预防医学专业教育的问题、开展课程思政教育必要性的基础上,构建预防医学专业核心价值体系,包括价值取向(维护和保障人民健康)、伦理道德(为了每个人健康生活)、时代使命(构建大卫生大健康的公共卫生体系)、职业要求(建设健康中国、服务大众健康)。围绕专业核心价值挖掘各门课程中的课程思政元素;开展多种课程思政教育实践方法,包括将思政教育元素融入微视频中、融入课堂教学改革中,开展主题活动实践,与创新创业教育深度融合;并统筹协调各专业课程之间的教育实践方法;从学生的课程总结、考试、章节测验中检验课程思政教育效果。基于以上努力,取得了良好的课程思政教育成效。
