ON THE STABILITY OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF PIECEWISE SMOOTH PERIODIC DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

In this paper,we address the stability of periodic solutions of piecewise smooth periodic differential equations.By studying the Poincarémap,we give a sufficient condition to judge the stability of a periodic solution.We also present examples of some applications.

TIME PERIODIC SOLUTIONS TO THE EVOLUTIONARY OSEEN MODEL FOR A GENERALIZED NEWTONIAN INCOMPRESSIBLE FLUID

In this paper we study a nonstationary Oseen model for a generalized Newtonian incompressible fluid with a time periodic condition and a multivalued,nonmonotone friction law.First,a variational formulation of the model is obtained;that is a nonlinear boundary hemivariational inequality of parabolic type for the velocity field.Then,an abstract first-order evolutionary hemivariational inequality in the framework of an evolution triple of spaces is investigated.Under mild assumptions,the nonemptiness and weak compactness of the set of periodic solutions to the abstract inequality are proven.Furthermore,a uniqueness theorem for the abstract inequality is established by using a monotonicity argument.Finally,we employ the theoretical results to examine the nonstationary Oseen model.

ON THE EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR NONLINEAR SYSTEM WITH MULTIPLE DELAYS

The existence of T_periodic solutions of the nonlinear system with multiple delays is studied. By using the topological degree method, sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of T_periodic solutions. As an application, the existence of positive periodic solution for a logarithmic population model is established under some conditions.

PERIODIC SYSTEMS WITH TIME DEPENDENT MAXIMAL MONOTONE OPERATORS

We consider a first order periodic system in R^(N),involving a time dependent maximal monotone operator which need not have a full domain and a multivalued perturbation.We prove the existence theorems for both the convex and nonconvex problems.We also show the existence of extremal periodic solutions and provide a strong relaxation theorem.Finally,we provide an application to nonlinear periodic control systems.

Diversity of Rogue Wave Solutions to the (1+1)-Dimensional Boussinesq Equation

A periodically homoclinic solution and some rogue wave solutions of (1+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation are obtained via the limit behavior of parameters and different polynomial functions. Besides, the mathematics reasons for different spatiotemporal structures of rogue waves are analyzed using the extreme value theory of the two-variables function. The diversity of spatiotemporal structures not only depends on the disturbance parameter u0 but also has a relationship with the other parameters c0, α, β.

EXISTENCE OF POSITIVE PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR VOLTERRA INTERGO-DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS

This paper deals with the existence of positive periodic solutions for a kind of nonautonomous Volterra intergo-differential equations by employing the Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem. Applying the general theorems established to several biomathematical models, the paper improves some previous results and obtains some new results.

SOLUTIONS TO DISCRETE MULTIPARAMETER PERIODIC BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEMS INVOLVING THE p-LAPLACIAN VIA CRITICAL POINT THEORY

In this paper, we consider the existence of three nontrivial solutions for a discrete non-linear multiparameter periodic problem involving the p-Laplacian. By using the similar method for the Dirichlet boundary value problems in [C. Bonanno and P. Candito, Appl. Anal., 88（4） （2009）, pp. 605-616], we construct two new strong maximum principles and obtain that the boundary value problem has three positive solutions for λ and μ in some suitable intervals. The approaches we use are the critical point theory.

TIME PERIODIC SOLUTION TO THE COMPRESSIBLE NAVIER-STOKES EQUATIONS IN A PERIODIC DOMAIN

This article is concerned with the time periodic solution to the isentropic compressible Navier-Stokes equations in a periodic domain. Using an approach of parabolic regularization, we first obtain the existence of the time periodic solution to a regularized problem under some smallness and symmetry assumptions on the external force. The result for the original compressible Navier-Stokes equations is then obtained by a limiting process. The uniqueness of the periodic solution is also given.

Existence of two periodic solutions of a ratio-dependent Holling-Taner model with infinite delay and prey harvest

This paper considers a class of ratio-dependent Holling-Taner model with infinite delay and prey harvest, which is of periodic coefficients. By means of the coincidence degree theory, a set of sufficient conditions for the existence of at least two positive periodic solutions of this model is established.

ALMOST PERIODIC SOLUTION OF ONE DIMENSIONAL VISCOUS CAMASSA-HOLM EQUATION

This article studies one dimensional viscous Camassa-Holm equation with a periodic boundary condition. The existence of the almost periodic solution is investigated by using the Galerkin method.

Multiple Periodic Solutions for Some Classes of First-Order Hamiltonian Systems

Considering a decomposition R2N=A⊕B of R2N , we prove in this work, the existence of at least (1+dimA) geometrically distinct periodic solutions for the first-order Hamiltonian system Jx'(t)+H'(t,x(t))+e(t)=0 when the Hamiltonian H(t,u+v) is periodic in (t,u) and its growth at infinity in v is at most like or faster than |v|a, 0≤ae is a forcing term. For the proof, we use the Least Action Principle and a Generalized Saddle Point Theorem.

THE PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR TIME DEPENDENT AGE-STRUCTURED POPULATION MODELS

In this paper, the existence of periodic solutions for a time dependent age-structured population model is studied. The averaged net reproductive number is introduced as the main parameter to determine the dynamical behaviors of the model. The existence of a global parameterized branch of periodic solutions of the model is obtained by using the contracting mapping theorem in a periodic and continuous function space. The global stability of the trivial equilibrium is studied and a very practical stability criteria for the model is obtained. The dynamics of the linear time-periodic model is similar to that of the linear model.

Periodic Solutions of Mixed Type p-Laplacian Equations with Deviating Arguments

Based on Mansevich-Mawhin continuation theorem and some analysis skill,some sufficient conditions for the existence of periodic solutions for mixed type p-Laplacian equation with deviating arguments are established,which are complement of previously known results.

ON THE EXISTENCE OF POSITIVE SOLUTIONS TO SECOND ORDER PERIODIC BVPS

The existence of positive solutions to second-order periodic BVPs-u'+Mu =j(t, u),t(0) = u(2π),u'(0) = '(2π) and u'+ Mu = I(t, u), u(0) = u(2π), u'(0) = u'(2π)is proved by a simple appliCation of a Fixed point Theorem in cones due to Krasnoselskii.

Periodic Solution for Diffusive Predator-Prey System with Functional Response

In this paper, a three species diffusive predator-prey model with functional response is studied, where all parameters are time dependent. By using the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, the existence of a positive periodic solution for this system is established.

EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS FOR A DIFFERENTIAL INCLUSION SYSTEMS INVOLVING THE p(t)-LAPLACIAN

We study a nonlinear periodic problem driven by the p（t）-Laplacian and having a nonsmooth potential （hemivariational inequalities）. Using a variational method based on nonsmooth critical point theory for locally Lipschitz functions, we first prove the existence of at least two nontrivial solutions under the generalized subquadratic and then establish the existence of at least one nontrivial solution under the generalized superquadratic.

The pth-order periodic solutions for a family of N-coupled nonlinear SchrSdinger equations

By using the solutions of an auxiliary Lame equation, a direct algebraic method is proposed to construct the exact solutions of N-coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations. The abundant higher-order exact periodic solutions of a family of N-coupled nonlinear Schrodinger equations are explicitly obtained with the aid of symbolic computation and they include corresponding envelope solitary and shock wave solutions.

EXISTENCE OF PERIODIC SOLUTIONS OF PLANAR SYSTEMS WITH FOUR DELAYS

The sufficient condition for the existence of non constant periodic solutions of the following planar system with four delays are obtained:x [FK(W1*1。*3/4]′ 1(t)=-a 0x α 1(t)+a 1f 1(x 1(t-τ 1),x 2(t-τ 2)), x [FK(W1*1。*3/4]′ 2(t)=-b 0x α 2(t)+b 1f 2(x 1(t-τ 3),x 2(t-τ 4)).This approach is based on the continuation theorem of the coincidence degree, and the a priori estimate of periodic solutions.
