A Motherland That One Cannot Return to An Interpretation on Song of The Chu From a Perspective of Cultural Security

Song of The Chu, a novel written by LAN Zi-- a Chinese Australian writer, recounts the struggle in Australia over 20 years （1988-2008） of a group of Chinese young people. Cultural difference or even conflict is one of the inevitable issues in terms of migration. The Chinese （Han） culture which belongs to the continental civilization and the Australian （Western） culture which belongs to the maritime one are both mighty and cannot be conquered or assimilated by each other. This means that the Chinese immigrants to Australia, compared to the ones from a less mighty culture, are more sensitive and resistant to the impact of an alien culture, which leads to a conscious or unconscious sense of security of the mother culture. Cultural security, not unidirectional, also refers to the worry by the locals of the impact brought by the immigrants. Measurement of transient thickness between the body and graze layers of ancient porcelains using microprobe EDXRF technique

The oxide contents of TiO2, MnO, SrO and Fe2O3 in the body and graze layers of the Jiao-Tan-Xia (JTX) and Lao-Hu-Dong (LHD) porcelains in Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279 A.D.) have been determined using an In- ternational Eagle-II μ-probe EDXRF spectrometer. The results show that the contents in the body are much different from those in the graze one. Therefore, the transient thickness (TT) between the body and graze layers can be meas- ured through determination of a distance of the drift change in the chemical contents. The TT average for the JTX porcelains is 161μm, while that for the LHD porcelains is 258μm, which are consistent with a range of 0.15-0.3mm in the Ru-Yao porcelains. The different TT is related to the variances in firing temperature and raw material for manu- facturing the respective porcelains.

A Feasible Approach for Automatic Detection and Recognition of the Bengalese Finch Songnotes and Their Sequences

The Bengalese finch song has been widely studied for its unique features and similarity to human language. For com-putational analysis the songs must be represented in songnote sequences. An automated approach for this purpose is highly desired since manual processing makes human annotation cumbersome, and human annotation is very heu-ristic and easily lacks objectivity. In this paper, we propose a new approach for automatic detection and recognition of the songnote sequences via image processing. The proposed method is based on human recognition process to visually identify the patterns in a sonogram image. The songnotes of the Bengalese finch are dependent on the birds and similar pattern does not exist in two different birds. Considering this constraint, our experiments on real birdsong data of different Bengalese finch show high accuracy rates for automatic detection and recognition of the songnotes. These results indicate that the proposed approach is feasible and generalized for any Bengalese finch songs.

The Influence of Miao Nationality’s Culture in Yuan Xiang Region on the Later Poetry Creation of Qu Yuan

Miao culture is one of the minority cultures in China.It also has a certain impact on the development of Chinese literature and poetry.Chu ci is a new poetic style created by Qu Yuan,an ancient poet in China.It is the first collection of romantic poetry in the history of Chinese literature.Qu Yuan’s poetry creation is related to his life experience.Qu Yuan was exiled to Yuan Xiang region,and he had been in contact with the Miao ancestors in Yuan Xiang area during the exile.Therefore,the Miao land culture in Yuan Xiang area has a profound influence on Qu Yuan’s later poetry creation.This paper,taking Qu Yuan’s later poetry as an example,analyzes the influence of Miao culture on Chu ci in Yuan Xiang area,introduces Qu Yuan’s life and how to contact Miao culture,and probes into the influence of Miao nationality’s religious thought,customs,language and culture,oral folk song and pan song on the later poetry creation of Qu Yuan.

The traumatic narratives of sexuality in Chinese writer Shao-Lin Chu’s trilogy

This paper explores the narratives of the Chinese woman novelist Shao-Lin Chu’s trilogy to see how the problem of female sexuality and resistance to parental wedlock tragedy becomes a traumatic experience.The traumatic symptoms in the narratives are taken as Peircean signs for tracing the negative influences of traumatic experiences on the formation of personal identity and the associated depressive disorder.The scenes portrayed in Chu’s traumatic narratives of female and male sexuality are implications and representations of how sexuality is conceptualized and confined by the traumatic events while backgrounded with regulations and restrictions of a traditional society.The stories of Chu’s female narrators reveal the persistent and resisting feminine power.This paper adopts the concept of feminist narrative to analyze the traumatic and sexual events in Chu’s trilogy.The decoding and re-encoding of resistance and sexuality in the traumatic narratives prove that the narratological textual analysis and semiotic reading strategy together offer a solid approach to the discovery of the persistent traumatic impacts of the secret veiled in the narratives and reveal the probable strength of compassion that has its roots derived from deplorable trauma but later transforms itself to stimulate a positive reconstruction of the traumatic survivors’identity.

Aspect Level Songs Rating Based Upon Reviews in English

With the advancements in internet facilities,people are more inclined towards the use of online services.The service providers shelve their items for e-users.These users post their feedbacks,reviews,ratings,etc.after the use of the item.The enormous increase in these reviews has raised the need for an automated system to analyze these reviews to rate these items.Sentiment Analysis(SA)is a technique that performs such decision analysis.This research targets the ranking and rating through sentiment analysis of these reviews,on different aspects.As a case study,Songs are opted to design and test the decision model.Different aspects of songs namely music,lyrics,song,voice and video are picked.For the reason,reviews of 20 songs are scraped from YouTube,pre-processed and formed a dataset.Different machine learning algorithms—Naïve Bayes(NB),Gradient Boost Tree,Logistic Regression LR,K-Nearest Neighbors(KNN)and Artificial Neural Network(ANN)are applied.ANN performed the best with 74.99%accuracy.Results are validated using K-Fold.

楚简诗类文献与孔子删《诗》

孔子删《诗》与否一直是《诗》学史上的一大难题,结合楚简中越来越多的诗类文献,并从古本《诗》的编集流传、孔子时《诗》的形态、主张删《诗》者的论据等角度看,孔子可能并未删《诗》。首先,古本《诗》的编集是一个渐进的过程,乐官最初对诗歌进入《诗》文本进行了一定的整理甚至删削,清华简《耆夜》中的《蟋蟀》和《周公之琴舞》等都启示这一点。其次,《诗》传到孔子时,整体框架等与今本《诗》差别应该不是很大。最后,《史记·孔子世家》所言“及至孔子,去其重,取可施于礼义”的说法有不合事实之处;“诗三百”不是专指孔子所删之《诗》而言,它与《诗》的含义不是对立的,而是大体一致的。总之,孔子并未删《诗》,只是进行了正乐、调整篇次等工作。

2021年屈原及楚辞研究综述

屈原及楚辞的学术研究历史悠久,2021年继续呈现出持久生命力,各类专著、学术论文等成果迭出,涉及屈原精神与文化影响研究、楚辞文本研究、楚辞学史研究、宋玉研究、楚辞海外传播与翻译接受研究等诸多领域。

印支造山带:Song Chay构造带

印支运动是二十世纪初法国地质学家根据越南北部晚三叠世大规模角度不整合所提出。越南北部的Song Chay构造带作为印支造山带概念的提出地,记录了大量经典的印支造山相关的信息,是理解印支造山带构造演化的关键地区。本文在课题组对Song Chay地区十多年研究基础上,结合前人研究成果,系统厘定了Song Chay构造带的几何空间格架、运动学特征及其演化过程。详细的野外地质考察表明,Song Chay构造带从SW向NE依次可以划分成:新生代的大象山单元、代表缝合带的Song Chay蛇绿混杂岩单元,以及越南东北部褶皱冲断系统。其中蛇绿混杂岩单元和褶皱冲断系统中发育NE-SW向矿物拉伸线理,并具有顶部向NE方向的剪切变形特征,指示了Song Chay洋壳向SW的俯冲以及向NE的逆冲过程。精确的年代学工作表明,Song Chay蛇绿混杂岩中斜长花岗岩的结晶年龄为356.4±2.9Ma,表明至少在早石炭世Song Chay洋就已经形成了成熟的大洋地壳。褶皱冲断带内部的低温年代学数据约束了顶部向NE的剪切变形年龄在250~245Ma之间,表明为华南和印支板块碰撞时间。另外,Song Chay蛇绿混杂岩基质中碎屑锆石物源研究表明,Song Chay蛇绿混杂岩基质中碎屑锆石主要是来自于俯冲的华南板块,只有很少一部分来自印支板块,因此推测Song Chay洋可能为一个十分有限的小洋盆。构造几何学、运动学以及碎屑锆石物源研究表明,在Song Chay构造带内的“滇-琼缝合带”两侧构造特征可对比,并未因“滇琼洋”的闭合而造成差异。因此,我们认为“滇-琼缝合带”并不能代表一个大洋。根据我们及前人的构造学、岩石学、年代学工作,建立了一个初步的Song Chay洋从晚石炭世至中三叠世的构造演化模型:(1)310~270Ma,Song Chay洋开始向SW俯冲到印支板块之下,此时岩浆弧并不发育,蛇绿混杂岩物源主要为华南板块;(2)270~250Ma,Song Chay洋继续俯冲,此时弧岩浆岩大量发育,蛇绿混杂岩同时接受弧岩浆岩及华南板块碎屑物质;(3)250~245Ma,Song Chay洋闭合,华南板块与印支板块碰撞;(4)245~230Ma,印支造山带进入碰撞后伸展阶段。

论颜鼎受《初阳山人渔鼓曲》的道情书写

颜鼎受散曲别集《初阳山人渔鼓曲》一卷,有浙图藏《复庄今乐府选》本,新发现上图藏抄本与浙图本多有不同。上图抄本曲文首尾多出赠诗、小传及跋文,套曲中缀入诗词、小序和衍句,可追索《初阳山人渔鼓曲》早期刊本的面貌,更可全面考察颜鼎受散曲创作出于道情醒俗而归于谛视自得的个人情志,以及寓含其中的诗词曲联吟和文体融通意识。从这些内容增衍与文体互动,亦可窥见其组套言情之佳构与破体说理之谐趣在承接文人道情传统的同时显现出清初道情散曲持守与新变的意脉,以及其对清中后期道情散曲分化的影响。

“花儿”与党:西北民歌中的百年中国共产党形象

“花儿”是流行于中国西北部甘、青、宁三省区,由汉族和其他少数民族共创共享的民歌。本文选取了中国共产党成立以来的649首“花儿”曲目,运用内容分析法对“花儿”曲目进行分析。研究发现,在时间脉络中,“花儿”的叙事话语随着时代而变迁,与社会议题关联紧密;在传唱议题方面,“花儿”歌词主要通过符号象征、领袖感召、呼吁劳动的角度反映和歌唱中国共产党;从歌词所反映的空间角度进行分析发现,“花儿”主要通过地理构造的意义空间来塑造社会认同。“花儿”适切地反映了不同历史阶段当中的中国共产党形象与社会风貌,为了解传统文化和中国共产党之间的关联提供了一个可供观察的入口。

经验意义系统下《葬花吟》及其英译本的生态话语分析

《葬花吟》作为林黛玉诗词的代表作,出现在《红楼梦》第二十七回。这首诗并非因伤春而无病呻吟,也并非因爱情而烦心苦闷,而是作为封建贵族阶级的叛逆者林黛玉与贾府封建正统势力斗争冲突的结果。文章基于韩礼德的系统功能语言学,以生态场所观为理论指导,对《葬花吟》原诗及杨-霍英译本进行生态话语分析。研究发现:诗中运用了生态场所观中的多个施事,表明人对于场所之间的紧密依附关系;通过及物性过程分析,尤其是心理过程方面,表明诗中主人公及原诗作者对美好生活及良好的社会环境的渴望与向往。原诗及其英译本在生态话语的深层涵义上具有积极的生态立场,属于生态保护型语篇。

The Weight of a Backpack:A Phenomenological Analysis of Typical Chinese Children’s Songs

Purpose-The purpose of this paper is to explore the experience of the weight of a backpack as represented in typical Chinese children’s songs through a kind of phenomenological approach.Design/Approach/Methods-The core issue pertaining to Chinese children’s songs about backpacks is how the weight sense of backpacks is generated and developed in the field of song phenomenology.Findings-The“whatness”of a backpack in typical songs has varied over the past six decades,meanwhile,the backpack and its songs conceal not only the secrets of childhood but also those of China’s educational system.Originality/Value-The originality of this paper embodies the unique perspective to provide a new insight into the current scholarship of the micro-politics of song-singing and the weight sense of backpack.

论郭店简《性自命出》与上博简《孔子诗论》的诗学关联

郭店简《性自命出》的一个突出特点是对“情”的关注,充分肯定情感的正面价值和积极意义,同时强调用诗、礼、乐陶冶性情、培养德行,从而使道德在人的内心扎根。从上博简《孔子诗论》的内容来看,简文论《诗》具有强烈的主“情”或重“情”色彩,它在充分肯定真性情价值的同时,也主张用礼义来合理地规范、引导、约束情感。从两篇文献对于性情观念的阐发及情与礼关系的揭示可以看出,它们之间存在着紧密的诗学关联。以《性自命出》为代表的早期儒家的性情学说与礼乐教化思想是《孔子诗论》评《诗》论《诗》的思想来源,《孔子诗论》将早期儒家的性情哲学与礼乐教化思想绵密无间地融入了《诗经》的阐释中,呈现出尚情性、重礼义的双重特征。

论信阳民歌蕴含的楚韵吴调的精神气韵

信阳民歌作为中国民歌的重要组成部分,有着悠久的历史传统。信阳特殊的地理位置与历史文化传统使信阳民歌兼容吸纳了南北文化的精髓及多地民歌的特点,形成了独具特色的风格。人们通常把“豫风楚韵”作为信阳地域文化最显著的特征,然而通过仔细分析信阳原生态民歌形成历史以及唱腔、调式、风格等,发现“楚韵吴调”更具信阳民歌的底色和精神气韵。

材、情、笔:《诗》《辞》浪漫之不同

《诗》《辞》分别是现实主义和浪漫主义文学之源,此语鲜明,但可能造成“《楚辞》不够现实,《诗经》不大浪漫”的误会。澄清它们都有兼容现实和浪漫的性质,并加以区别,可根除误解。《诗》《辞》的浪漫有学术性和生活化两重解读,前者侧重作者情怀,《诗经》浪漫说属此;后者侧重作品素材,《楚辞》浪漫说属此。研究发现:“超经验”是《诗》《辞》浪漫的通式,在二书的素材、情怀和笔法三个生成点上都有落实,分别具体化为“超现实”“超感人”“超新颖”三个局部特征。二书的浪漫生成点的分布情况和兼容程度都有不同,因此,造成《诗》《辞》浪漫的感染力不同——前者源自情怀的浪漫更感人,成于笔法的浪漫更可贵。

《大武》卒章论——以宋版《春秋经传集解》及王家嘴楚简为线索

《大武》乐章的篇数、篇目、篇序等问题,历来聚讼纷纭。如关于《武》在《大武》中的次序,大抵有首章说、次章说、卒章说三种观点。部分持首章说和次章说的学者认为今本《左传》所记楚子语“其卒章”有误,今本与宋版存在出入。然验之现存宋版《春秋经传集解》,朱熹刊定《诗集传》时,当时所流传的宋版《左传》所记楚子语确作“其卒章”。新出土的王家嘴楚简《诗经》亦进一步证明,《武》当是《大武》卒章。
