The Impact of Street Interviews on Chinese EFL Undergraduates’Intercultural Communicative Competence

The study adopts Byram’s Intercultural Communicative Competence(ICC)model as the theoretical framework,and structured interviews were conducted to explore the impact of street interviews on the participants’ICC.Analysis results revealed street interviews help students acquire knowledge in intercultural attitudes,intercultural knowledge,skills of discovery and interaction,and critical cultural awareness,aligning with the four components of Byram’s ICC model.Meanwhile,they have positive perceptions of street interviews.Therefore,street interviews have a positive effect on the development of participants’ICC.

Study on Full English Teaching of Hospitality Management in Application-oriented Undergraduate Universities

With the emergence of development of international integration,the domestic education also attaches great importance to English discipline.The hospitality management of application-oriented undergraduate universities demands high standard for English.The hospitality management of some domestic undergraduate universities has reformed the traditional English teaching mode and adopted the Full English Teaching mode.However,due to the lack of high-quality English teachers,the single teaching methods,and the lack of support from university for Full English Teaching,the actual effect of Full English Teaching is not ideal.Through investigation and analysis of an undergraduate university,this paper finally puts forward countermeasures against the deficiencies in the Full English Teaching mode so as to improve the professional quality of the teaching staff,adopt diversified teaching means and enhance the school’s support for English teaching.

Research on the Construction of Application-Oriented Undergraduate Data Science and Big Data Technology Courses

In order to conduct research and analysis on the construction of application-oriented undergraduate data science and big data technology courses,the professional development characteristics of universities and enterprises should be taken into consideration,the development trend of the big data industry should be scrutinized,and professional application-oriented talents should be cultivated in line with job requirements.This paper expounds the demand for capacity-building professional development in application-oriented undergraduate data science and big data technology courses,conducts research and analysis on the current situation of professional development,and puts forward strategies in hope to provide reference for capacity-building professional development.

Relationship between clinical belonging,professional identity,and nursing information ability among nursing interns:Model construction

BACKGROUND Clinical belonging refers to the feeling that clinical medical staff feel recognized and accepted by others or groups.The level of clinical belonging of nursing interns affects students’learning motivation and confidence,which in turn affects their clinical practice behavior.AIM To explore the effects of professional identity and nursing information ability on clinical belonging among nursing interns and establish a relationship model for these factors.METHODS The researchers used the convenience sampling method to select 682 nursing interns from China.The survey was conducted using a general information questionnaire,clinical sense of belonging scale,nursing information ability self-assessment scale,and a nursing student professional identity questionnaire.The mediating effect of nursing information ability between their professional identity and clinical sense of belonging was analyzed using SPSS 21.0 and the path analysis in structural equation modeling.RESULTS The total scores of clinical belonging,professional identity,and nursing information ability of nursing interns were(104.29±13.11)points,(57.89±7.16)points,and(70.29±6.20)points,respectively.Nursing information ability had a direct effect on the clinical sense of belonging(effect value=0.46,P<0.05).Occupational identity had a direct effect(effect value=0.52,P<0.05)and an indirect effect(effect value=0.21,P<0.05)on clinical belonging.CONCLUSION Nursing administrators in nursing colleges and hospitals should take effective measures to improve the professional identity and nursing information ability of nursing interns,as well as the clinical sense of belonging among nursing interns.

Identification Model for Needy Undergraduates Based on FFM

In recent years, as the enrollment rate of Chinese colleges has increased year by year, the identification of needy undergraduates has become increasingly important. However, the traditional way to identify college students with financial difficulties mainly relies on manual review and collective voting, which easily causes subjectivity and randomness. To alleviate the problem above, this paper establishes an automatic identification model for needy undergraduates based on the 1842 questionnaires collected from undergraduates in WHUT. Firstly, this paper filters the questionnaire preliminary using the local outlier factor algorithm. Secondly, this paper combines mutual information, Spearman rank correlation coefficient and distance correlation coefficient by rank-sum ratio to select features for eliminating noise from irrelevant features. Thirdly, this paper trains filed-aware factor machine model and compares it with other models, such as Logistic Regression, SVM, etc. Eventually, this paper finds that filed-aware factor machine performers much better than other models in the identification of needy undergraduates, and prominent features affecting the identification of needy undergraduates are the year of the family income, cost of living provided parents, etc.

The construction and practice of humanistic care teaching model based on 5C care theory

Objective:To construct a scientific and feasible teaching mode based on 5C caring theory and evaluate it,so as to provide a reference basis for future study about nursing humanistic quality education.Methods:Based on the 5C caring theory,the teaching design and teaching content were revising and implementing in the intervention group.Before and after the implementation of the course,a questionnaire survey was conducted using the Caring Ability Inventory(CAI).The results of the surveys were collected,and the data were statistically analysis using SPSS.Results:After the implementation of the course,the cognitive dimension,patience dimension,and humanistic caring ability scores of the nursing students in the intervention group improved compared with those before the implementation of the course(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion:The humanistic caring teaching model based on 5C caring theory has a positive effect on improving nursing students'humanistic caring ability.In the future nursing teaching,the modules with the characteristics of humanistic caring ability can be increased,and carry out the educational reform throughout the humanistic caring ability.Actively guiding nursing students to establish the awareness of humanistic caring,so as to lay a solid foundation for high-quality clinical nursing work.

Schema theory and its application in teaching listening for non-English major undergraduates

Both empirical research findings and teaching experiences show that most non-English major undergraduates who are poorly aware of the cognitive psychological aspect of listening usually pay far greater attention to their improvement of pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, etc. only in listening class. That might be part of the reason, and the author will discuss the application of information-processing model theory, schema theory in particular from the angle of cognitive psychology in listening comprehension course, hoping to remove barriers in the listening procedure to achieve better progress for students in listening ability.

An Exploration on Translation Teaching and Learning for Undergraduate English Majors

The extending of Chinese internationalization proposes higher requests on the translation markets, which means more and more high-qualified translators and interpreters are needed to meet the market demands. However, the traditional"teacher and text-centered"translation teaching methods can not equip the students with skillful and practical ability to satisfy the requirements of the society. Therefore, this paper explores a new translation teaching model which suggests more efficient and quicker ways to cultivate available interpreters and translators for the translation market.

Increasing Undergraduate Student’s Satisfaction in Higher Educa-tion:Optimal Improvement Path Analysis

Undergraduate student’s satisfaction is fundamental to creating and implementing successful higher education.The present study sought to identify the factors and analyses impact on satisfaction and service quality.The research was carried out in Chinese higher education institution,with a sample of 1660 students.Based on the higher education satisfaction questionnaire,the“optimal path”model of problem improvement was constructed by applying the“structural equation model”,satisfaction and importance matrix diagram,improvement effect size and other tools.Eight major areas of three-dimensional improvement of“satisfaction,importance,and improvement effect”were formed.Identify the issues that students have urgent demands,high importance,and strong improvement effects.Scientifically analyze the main attention focus of each subgroup of students.Concentrate superior resources and strengths,formulate targeted measures and make key breakthroughs based on“light”,“heavy”,“slow”,“urgent”and“classified”.Provide suggestions for improving student’s satisfaction and promoting the development of high-quality connotative and characteristic development in higher education.

土木工程重点学科建设推进本科人才培养质量的研究与实践

将土木工程重点学科建设与本科教育相结合,提升本科人才的培养质量是有意义和必要的。该文以河南大学土木工程专业的教学模式革新为例,结合省级重点学科的实际建设情况,对原有本科人才培养方案进行改革补充,从制度体系建设和创新创业实践两个方面提出十六项具体措施。通过2018—2021年的改革结果跟踪调研分析,验证其可行性,取得良好的创新效果。

一流本科课程下高等数学课程建设

“双万计划”是教育部为推动我国高等教育的发展而计划资助发展建设万门国家级一流本科课程和万门省级一流本科课程。为实现黑龙江大学一流本科课程下的高等数学课程建设,黑龙江大学高等数学课程的建设,要顺应时代需求,在高等数学课程的教学理念、教学体系、教学模式、教学内容、教学方法、考核方法和团队建设等多方面进行改革。

新工科背景下融合“互联网+”模式的应用型人才培养改革

应用型人才教育必须在实践中进行,而学生也应该进行系统的知识学习与能力培养。该文为响应我国加快建设高水平应用型本科人才,以青岛理工大学信息与控制工程学院为试点,研究基于新工科背景下融合“互联网+”新模式的教学理念,充分利用“互联网+”模式对高校实践创新本科教学进行发展优化,培养出适应新工科发展变革下的创新应用人才,并形成了“一中心两融合三维度四平台”的本科应用型人才教育教学改革新模式。

基于SPOC的沉浸式教学方法在心内科护理实践教学中的应用

目的:探讨基于SPOC的沉浸式教学方法在心内科护理实践教学中的应用效果。方法:采用方便抽样法,按照实习先后顺序将2018年7月至2019年12月临床实习的73名本科实习护生设为对照组,采用传统教学模式,2020年2月至2021年6月临床实习的65名本科实习护生设为试验组,在传统教学模式基础上采用基于SPOC的沉浸式教学方法。结果:试验组理论出科成绩、操作技能成绩均高于对照组(P<0.05);试验组临床实践自我评价认可率高于对照组(P<0.05);试验组临床教学满意度高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论:基于SPOC的沉浸式教学方法有利于提高本科护生的临床实习教学效果及教学满意度。

置信职业行为在儿科本科实习中的应用初探

目的探索如何将置性职业行为(entrustable professional actibities,EPAs)应用于儿科学本科临床医学教育的实习阶段,提升儿科本科实习培养质量。方法选取2021年6月—2022年6月南通大学附属医院儿内科参加实习的本科医学生56名。随机分为对照组与试验组,各28名。对照组采用传统实践教学模式,试验组在传统教学模式的基础上加入EPAs评价。两组学员的培训时间均为4周。观察学生实习前后EPAs评分的差异,以及试验组和对照组学员在传统教学考核成绩方面的差异。结果试验组EPAs自评分、中级职称带教老师评分、高级职称带教老师评分均高于对照组[(16.96±1.75)分vs(39.32±2.06)分]、[(17.21±1.66)分vs(41.00±1.68)分]、[(17.35±1.64)分vs(39.86±1.84)分],差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。试验组病史采集、体格检查、病历书写、沟通能力评价评分及总分高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);2组体格检查、技能操作比较差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。结论EPAs评价在儿科本科实习教学中的应用可有效提高实习教学质量。

“三创五育”背景下“双一流”高校本科人才培养的DIE模式初探及评价

针对新时代背景下“双一流”高校人才培养的发展需求,在“三创五育”理念指导下,解析基于产学研合作理论引入的DIE模式的内涵,系统阐述了DIE理念贯彻下的教学系统设计并付诸实践,旨在打破教学系、研究所、企业之间的壁垒,为学生学习、实践提供更多样化的渠道。问卷调查结果表明DIE模式在本科生团队协作、学术创造、自信心树立等方面有切实作用,为培养全面发展的高素质本科人才提供了参考。

基于RE-AIM和柯氏模型的反思实践培训方案在本科医学带教中的应用

目的观察基于可及性、有效性、采用率、实施性与持续性(reach,effectiveness,adoption,implementation,maintenance,RE-AIM)和柯氏模型的反思实践培训方案在本科医学带教中的应用效果。方法选取2022年3月-2023年6月重庆医科大学附属第一医医学临床医学专业学生124名,使用随机数字表法将其分为对照组(n=61)及研究组(n=63)。对照组采用传统教学方案,研究组使用基于RE-AIM和柯氏模型的反思实践培训方案进行教学。观察2组学生的教学效果、考核成绩、自我效能、批判思维评分及学生满意度。结果研究组临床思维能力、医学人文精神、公共卫生服务、社区情怀评分均高于对照组;研究组实践成绩、理论成绩、总分高于对照组;研究组工作职责评分、教育要求评分高于对照组;研究组寻找真相、自信心、求知欲、分析能力、开放思维、认知成熟度、系统化能力7个维度均高于对照组;研究组学习兴趣激发、思维能力提高、自学能力培养、理论知识掌握、语言和表达能力提高5个维度满意度评分高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论基于RE-AIM和柯氏模型的反思实践培训方案有助于提高本科医学生的教学效果,提高教理论及实践成绩,培养实习生批判思维并提高其对带教工作的满意。

基于“5W1H”模型的应用型本科院校教学质量保障体系构建研究

研究围绕应用型本科教学质量保障体系的建构与实践,整合新时期应用型本科高校教学质量保障体系构建的多种先进理念,包括全面质量管理(TQM)、PDCA循环、OBE理论等提出了一套全新的“5W1H”模型。该模型重点围绕5个维度:保障目标(Why)、保障主体(Who)、保障内容(What)、保障场域(where)、保障周期(when),保障机制(How)构建而成。强调以社会需求为导向,注重实践教学与理论教学的融合,旨在培养具有创新能力和实践技能的应用型人才以及提高应用型高校的教学质量。

社会建构主义理论观照下统计人才培养模式设计与构建

随着越来越多的国内外高校开设统计专业,学者们对统计人才培养模式的研究不断深入。为了科学地支撑统计人才培养,需要借鉴国内外成熟的育人模式,并结合科学的教育理论。基于此,以社会建构主义为理论基础,结合统计专业教育特点和数字化社会职业需求,提出本科统计人才培养“1341”模式。该模式以“一个中心”为核心,聚焦于培养统计创新型应用人才,通过“价值、知识、能力”三个维度革新三大课程构造体系,以“四种融合”联通四个教学情境,并以“一个闭环系统”保障人才培养质量,旨在解决本科统计人才培养模式应然与实然之间的矛盾。

发达国家本科层次职业教育的发展模式与启示

发展本科层次甚至硕博层次职业教育是及时适应经济社会发展和产业升级的必然要求。德国、英国、日本、美国形成不同的本科职业教育发展模式,是职业教育发展层次不断“高移”的结果。对本科层次职业教育发展特色鲜明的发达国家进行历史回顾与现状考察可知,因不同国家的政治、经济、社会及文化发展水平具有显著差异,在发展本科职业教育的过程中形成了诸如升格、新建、融合分化等不同的发展模式。就我国目前本科层次职业教育的发展情况而言,需要发挥政府重要职能,做好顶层规划;完善相关学位制度,弱化标签效应;以人才培养为核心,促进技能发展;探寻多样发展模式,坚持多元办学。
