A simple and rapid method of ionic liquid based dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction (DLLME) combining with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was developed for the analysis of four toxic anilines in flour steamed bread and maize steamed bread. Several possible influential factors such as the type of ionic liquid and disperser solvent, extraction time, sample pH, ionic strength and the volume of ionic liquid and disperser solvent were optimized using single factor experiments and orthogonal array design (OAD) with OA25(54) matrix. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) and percent contribution (PC) were used to investigate the significance of the factors of OAD. Sample pH and ionic strength are statistically demonstrated two chief factors. Under the optimum condition, the method exhibits a good linearity (r2 〉 0.99) over the studied range (50-1000 ng g-l) for anilines. The extraction factors and recoveries for the anilines in two kinds of steamed breads ranged between 34.1%-73.3% and 44.3%-95.3%, respectively. The limit of detections (LODs) and limit of quantitations (LOQs) ranged be- tween 10-15 ng g-1 and 30--45 ng g-1. 展开更多

In this study,a moored array optimization tool(MAOT)was developed and applied to the South China Sea(SCS)with a focus on three-dimensional temperature and salinity observations.Application of the MAOT involves two steps:(1)deriving a set of optimal arrays that are independent of each other for different variables at different depths based on an empirical orthogonal function method,and(2)consolidating these arrays using a K-center clustering algorithm.Compared with the assumed initial array consisting of 17 mooring sites located on a 3°×3°horizontal grid,the consolidated array improved the observing ability for three-dimensional temperature and salinity in the SCS with optimization efficiencies of 19.03%and 21.38%,respectively.Experiments with an increased number of moored sites showed that the most cost-effective option is a total of 20 moorings,improving the observing ability with optimization efficiencies up to 26.54%for temperature and 27.25%for salinity.The design of an objective array relies on the ocean phenomenon of interest and its spatial and temporal scales.In this study,we focus on basin-scale variations in temperature and salinity in the SCS,and thus our consolidated array may not well resolve mesoscale processes.The MAOT can be extended to include other variables and multi-scale variability and can be applied to other regions. 展开更多

Firstly,the integrated priority of different radar tasks is designed,which ensures that the imaging tasks are scheduled without affecting the search and tracking tasks; Then,the optimal scheduling model of radar resource is established according to the constraints of pulse interleaving; Finally,a heuristic algorithm is used to solve the problem and a sparse-aperture cognitive ISAR imaging method is used to achieve partial precision tracking target imaging. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can both improve the performance of the radar system,and generate satisfactory imaging results. 展开更多

Maximizing aged photovoltaic array power:a computer modelling study

Photovoltaic(PV)modules age with time for various reasons such as corroded joints and terminals and glass coating defects,and their ageing degrades the PV array power.With the help of the PV array numerical model,this paper explores the effects of PV module ageing on the PV array power,and the power gains and costs of rearranging and recabling aged PV modules in a PV array.The numerical PV array model is first revised to account for module ageing,rearrangement and recabling,with the relevant equations presented herein.The updated numerical model is then used to obtain the array powers for seven different PV arrays.The power results are then analysed in view of the attributes of the seven PV array examples.A guiding method to recommend recabling after rearranging aged modules is then proposed,leading to further significant power gains,while eliminating intra-row mismatches.When certain conditions are met,it was shown that recabling PV modules after rearranging them may lead to further significant power gains,reaching 57%and 98%in two considered PV array examples.Higher gains are possible in other arrays.A cost-benefit analysis weighing annual power gains versus estimated recabling costs is also given for the seven considered PV array examples to guide recabling decisions based on technical and economic merits.In the considered examples,recabling costs can be recovered in<4 years.Compared with the powers of the aged arrays,power gains due to our proposed rearranging and recabling the PV arrays ranged between 73%and 131%in the considered examples—well over the gains reported in the literature.Moreover,the cost of our static module rearrangement and recabling method outshines the costs of dynamic reconfiguration methods recently published in the literature. 展开更多

Then,in the case of dovetail,wedge is designed to maximize the stable amplitude of the beam along the steering path;in the case of austenitic weld,modified focal law are developed to solve the problem of beam screwing and defocusing due to the material properties.To verify the effectiveness of the modified focal law,beam fields are calculated using LPMGB model in austenitic welds. 展开更多

In order to couple the numerical simulation of a primary test stand driver with an optimal load design, a zero- dimensional wire array load model is designed based on the Saturn load model using PSPICE, which is an upgraded version of the Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis (SPICE) designed by the ORCAD Corporation to perform circuit simulations. This paper calculates different load parameters and discusses factors influencing the driving current curve. With appropriate driving current curves chosen, further magneto-hydrodynamic calculations are carried out and discussed to provide the best results for experiments. The suggested optimal load parameters play an important role in experimental load design. 展开更多

A direction of arrival(DOA) estimation algorithm is proposed using the concept of sparse representation. In particular, a new sparse signal representation model called the smoothed covariance vector(SCV) is established, which is constructed using the lower left diagonals of the covariance matrix. DOA estimation is then achieved from the SCV by sparse recovering, where two distinguished error limit estimation methods of the constrained optimization are proposed to make the algorithms more robust. The algorithm shows robust performance on DOA estimation in a uniform array, especially for coherent signals. Furthermore, it significantly reduces the computational load compared with those algorithms based on multiple measurement vectors(MMVs). Simulation results validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm. 展开更多
