BACKGROUND Surgery, which is a major risk factor for venous thrombosis, has rarely been considered a risk factor for arterial thrombosis.Recent studies have suggested that venous and arterial thromboses share common risk factors and have a bidirectional relationship.Accordingly, there is a growing interest in the risk of arterial thrombosis after surgery. We report a case of acute bilateral lower extremity arterial thromboses that developed after a prolonged surgery.CASE SUMMARY A 59-year-old man was hospitalized for intraocular foreign body removal surgery. He was a heavy-drinking smoker and had untreated hypertension and varicose veins in both legs. The operation was unexpectedly prolonged, lasting 4 h and 45 min.Immediately after emergence from general anesthesia, the patient complained of extreme pain in both legs. After the surgical drape was removed, cyanosis was evident in both feet of the patient. The pulse was not palpable, and continuous-wave Doppler signals were inaudible in the bilateral dorsalis pedis and posterior tibial arteries.Computed tomography angiography confirmed acute bilateral thrombotic occlusion of the popliteal arteries, proximal anterior tibial arteries, and tibioperoneal trunks.Arterial pulse returned in both lower limbs after 6 h of heparin initiation. The patient was discharged on postoperative day 26 without any sequelae.CONCLUSION Acute lower extremity arterial thrombosis can occur after surgery.Anesthesiologists should pay particular attention to patients with risk factors for thrombosis. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Umbilical artery thrombosis(UAT)is extremely uncommon and leads to adverse perinatal outcomes.Hypercoagulation of blood in pregnant women is suspected to be an important risk for UAT.Ultrasound is an effective way to detect thrombosis. The mother can monitor her own fetal health using ultrasound, which enables her to take preventative action in case of emergency.AIM To investigate ultrasonic blood signal after UAT in the umbilical artery, and evaluate the relationship between hypercoagulability and UAT.METHODS We described a case of a newly formed UAT with markedly altered ultrasonic indices of umbilical artery blood flow, and retrospectively studied it with 18 UAT patients confirmed by histopathology from October 2019 and March 2023 in Xiamen Women and Children's Hospital.Patients’information was collected from medical archives, including maternal clinical data, neonatal outcomes, pathological findings and ultrasonic indices of umbilical artery blood flow, such as systolic-diastolic duration ratio(S/D),resistance index(RI),pulsatility index(PI)and peak systolic velocity(PSV).Ultrasound and coagulation indices were analyzed with matched samples t-test and Wilcoxon rank sum test using the statistical packages in R(version 4.2.1)including car(version 3.1-0)and stats(version 4.2.1),and visualized by ggplot2 package(version 3.3.6).RESULTS A patient with normal findings in second and third-trimester routine ultrasound scan developed UAT with severe changes in ultrasonic indices of umbilical artery blood flow(within 2.5th of reference ranges)in a short period of time.Statistical analysis of umbilical artery blood flow ultrasound indices for 19 patients with UAT showed that the decrease in S/D,RI,and PI and increase of PSV during the disease process was greater than that of non-UAT.All 18 patients delivered in our hospital showed characteristic manifestations of UAT on histological examination after delivery, most of which(16/18)showed umbilical cord abnormalities, with 15 umbilical cord torsion and 1 pseudoknot.Coagulation parameters were not significantly changed in UAT patients compared with normal pregnancy women.CONCLUSION Significant changes in ultrasound indicators after UAT were demonstrated.PSV can play important roles in the diagnosis of UAT.Hypercoagulability alone is not sufficient for the occurrence of UAT. 展开更多

BACKGROUND It is well-described that the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)infection is associated with an increased risk of thrombotic complications. While there have been many cases of pulmonary emboli and deep vein thrombosis in these patients, reports of COVID-19 associated portal vein thrombosis(PVT)have been uncommon. We present a unique case of concomitant PVT and splenic artery thrombosis in a COVID-19 patient.CASE SUMMARY A 77-year-old-male with no history of liver disease presented with three days of left-sided abdominal pain. One week earlier, the patient was diagnosed with mildly symptomatic COVID-19 and was treated with nirmatrelvir/ritonavir.Physical exam revealed mild right and left lower quadrant tenderness, but was otherwise unremarkable.Significant laboratory findings included white blood cell count 12.5 K/μL,total bilirubin 1.6 mg/dL,aminoaspartate transferase 40 U/L,and alanine aminotransferase 61 U/L.Computed tomography of the abdomen and pelvis revealed acute PVT with thrombus extending from the distal portion of the main portal vein into the right and left branches. Also noted was a thrombus within the distal portion of the splenic artery with resulting splenic infarct.Hypercoagulable workup including prothrombin gene analysis, factor V Leiden, cardiolipin antibody, and JAK2 mutation were all negative.Anticoagulation with enoxaparin was initiated, and the patient’s pain improved. He was discharged on apixaban.CONCLUSION It is quite uncommon for PVT to present simultaneously with an arterial thrombotic occlusion,as in the case of our patient.Unusual thrombotic manifestations are classically linked to hypercoagulable states including malignancy and hereditary and autoimmune disorders.Viral infections such as Epstein-Barr virus, cytomegalovirus, viral hepatitis, and COVID-19 have all been found to increase the risk of splanchnic venous occlusions, including PVT.In our patient, prompt abdominal imaging led to early detection of thrombus, early treatment, and an excellent outcome. This case is unique in that it is the second known case within the literature of simultaneous PVT and splenic artery thrombosis in a COVID-19 patient. 展开更多

Background: Aortic dissection (AD) is a relatively rare but dreadful illness, often accompanied by severe, sharp (or tearing) back pain or anterior chest pain, as well as acute hemodynamic compromise. Painless dissection has also been reported in rare cases and might be misdiagnosed due to its atypical symptoms leading to catastrophic outcomes. Case presentation: The patient was admitted to the hospital due to right limb weakness with speech inability for more than 10 hours. In the routine cardiac ultrasound examination, the avulsion intimal echo was found in the initial segment of the descending aorta. The rupture range was about 11 mm, and the lumen was separated into real and false lumen. Further computed tomography angiography (CTA) examination confirmed the major arterial dissection (De Bakey Type I). Conclusion: We report a case of painless aortic dissection with active carotid artery thrombosis diagnosed by ultrasound and CTA, and to improve the understanding of painless aortic dissection by reviewing relevant domestic and foreign literature. 展开更多

TFPI is expressed by endothelial and smooth muscle cells in the vasculature. Endothefium-derived TFPI has been reported to play a regulatory role in arterial thrombosis. However, the role of endogenous TFPI in vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in thrombosis and vascular disease development has yet to be elucidated. In this TFPI^Flox mice crossbred with Sma-Cre mice were utilized to establish TFPI conditional knockout mice and to examine the effects of VSMC-directed TFPI deletion on development, hemostasis, and thrombosis. The mice with deleted TFPI in VSMCs (TFP^Sma) reproduced viable offspring. Plasma TFPI concentration was reduced 7.2% in the TFPIsma mice compared with TFPI^Flox littermate controls. Plasma TFPI concentration was also detected in the TFPI^Tle2 (mice deleted TFPI in endothefial ceils and cells of hematopoietic origin) mice. Plasma TFPI concentration of the TFPI^Tle2 mice was 80.4% lower (P 〈 0.001) than that of the TFPI^Flox mice. No difference in hemostatic measures (PT, APTT, and tail bleeding) was observed between TFPIsma and TFPI^Flox mice. However, TFP^Sma mice had increased ferric chloride-indueed arterial thrombosis compared with TFPI^Flox littermate controls. Taken together, these data indicated that endogenous TFPI from VSMCs inhibited ferric chloride-induced arterial thrombosis without causing hemostatic effects. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: Early hepatic artery thrombosis (eHAT) has been recognized as an important cause of graft loss and mortality. However, the incidence, etiology and outcome are not dear, especially for children. The present study was to investigate the formation of collateral artery flow after irreversible eHAT and its impact on patient's prognosis. METHODS: We analyzed eHAT after liver transplantation in children from October 2006 to April 2015 in our center, illustrated the formation of collateral hepatic artery flow after irreversible eHAT and explored the diagnosis, complications, treatment and prognosis. The basic and follow-up ultrasonographic images were also compared. RESULTS: Of the 330 pediatric liver recipients, 22 (6.67%) de- veloped eHAT within 1 month. Revascularization attempts in- duding surgical thrombectomy, interventional radiology and conservational treatment (thrombolysis) were successful in 5 patients. Among the 17 patients who had irreversible eHAT, follow-up ultrasonography revealed that collateral artery flow was developed as early as 2 weeks after eHAT. Liver abscess and bile duct complication occurred secondary to eHAT in variable time. CONCLUSIONS: Collateral arterial formation is a compensatory adaptation to eHAT to supply blood to liver grafts. However, the severe bile duct damage secondary to eHAT is irreversible and retransplantation is unavoidable. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Early hepatic artery thrombosis(E-HAT)is a serious complication after liver transplantation(LT),which often results in graft failure and can lead to patient deaths.Treatments such as re-transplantation and re-anastomosis are conventional therapeutic methods which are restricted by the shortage of donors and the patient’s postoperative intolerance to re-laparotomy.Due to the advances in interventional techniques and thrombolytics, endovascular treatments are increasingly being selected by more and more centers. This study reviews and reports our single-center experience with intra-arterial thrombolysis as the first choice therapy for E-HAT after deceased donor LT.AIM To evaluate the feasibility and reasonability of intra-arterial thrombolysis for EHAT after deceased donor LT.METHODS A total of 147 patients who underwent deceased donor LT were retrospectively reviewed in our hospital between September 2011 and December 2016.Four patients were diagnosed with E-HAT.All of these patients underwent intraarterial thrombolysis with alteplase as the first choice therapy after LT.The method of arterial anastomosis and details of the diagnosis and treatment of EHAT were collated. The long-term prognosis of E-HAT patients was also recorded. The median follow-up period was 26 mo(range:23 to 30 mo).RESULTS The incidence of E-HAT was 2.7%(4/147).E-HAT was considered when Doppler ultrasonography showed no blood flow signals and a definite diagnosis was confirmed by immediate hepatic arterial angiography when complete occlusion of the hepatic artery was observed. The patients were given temporary thrombolytics(mainly alteplase)via a 5-Fr catheter which was placed in the proximal part of the thrombosed hepatic artery followed by continuous alteplase using an infusion pump.Alteplase dose was adjusted according to activated clotting time. The recanalization rate of intra-arterial thrombolysis in our study was 100%(4/4)and no thrombolysis-related mortality was observed.During the follow-up period, patient survival rate was 75%(3/4),and biliary complications were present in 50%of patients(2/4).CONCLUSION Intra-arterial thrombolysis can be considered first-line treatment for E-HAT after deceased donor LT.Early diagnosis of E-HAT is important and follow-up is necessary even if recanalization is successful. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Extremely premature infants have poor vascular conditions.Operators often choose deep veins such as the femoral vein and axillary vein to peripherally insert central catheters, and these vessels are often accompanied by arteries;thus,it is easy to mistakenly enter the artery.CASE SUMMARY The case of an extremely premature infant(born at gestational age 28+3)in whom the left upper extremity artery was accidentally entered during peripheral puncture of the central venous catheter is reported. On the 19th day of hospitalization, the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of the left hand were rosy, the left radial artery and brachial artery pulse were palpable, the recovery was 95%,and the improvement was obvious. At discharge 42 d after admission, there was no abnormality in fingertip activity during the follow-up period.CONCLUSION Arterial embolization in preterm infants requires an individualized treatment strategy combined with local anticoagulation and 2%nitroglycerin ointment for local tissue damage caused by arterial embolism in the upper limb.Continuous visualization of disease changes using image visualization increases the likelihood of a good outcome. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Arterial thrombosis is a serious and rare complication of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome(OHSS).Herein,we describe a case of OHSS complicated by common carotid artery thrombosis and malignant middle cerebral artery infarction after egg retrieval and before embryo transfer.CASE SUMMARY A 32-year-old female with a family history of thrombosis who was undergoing in vitro fertilization due to unexplained infertility, was admitted due to abdominal distension for 3 d and coma for 2 h.She received egg retrieval 7 d ago and embryo transfer had not yet been performed.Blood biochemical analysis showed estrogen of 15781 pmol/L.Gynecological examination showed palpable masses on both sides of the adnexal areas.Ultrasound observed enlarged ovaries and abdominal ascites.Imaging examination of the head and neck revealed fresh malignant middle cerebral artery infarction in the left side of brain and internal carotid artery as well as occlusion in the left carotid artery, internal carotid artery, and middle cerebral artery. The patient was finally diagnosed with severe OHSS,complicated by common carotid artery thrombosis and malignant middle cerebral artery infarction.Liquid replacement, anticoagulation, vascular endothelium protection, brain protection and decompressive craniectomy were carried out.Rehabilitation training was then performed for 6 mo.At present, she has poor speaking ability and decreased muscle strength on the right side.CONCLUSION There is a risk of thrombosis during any period of OHSS.During in vitro assisted reproduction, for cases with a family history of thrombosis, hyperlipidemia and other high-risk factors, serum lipid levels should be controlled as soon as possible to improve metabolic dysfunction. When thrombosis occurs, timely and effective treatment should be performed to improve the prognosis. 展开更多

BACKGROUND The hypercoagulable state associated with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has been shown to complicate the course of this viral illness with both venous and arterial clots.Often presenting after hospitalization and known COVID-19 diagnosis, the etiology of thrombosis has been attributed to the hyperinflammatory state and endothelial dysfunction associated with COVID-19.This report portrays a patient who experienced an aortic thrombosis resulting in back and leg pain with subsequent loss of motor function of his legs as his initial presentation of COVID-19.CASE SUMMARY Patient is a 60-year-old Caucasian male with no medical history who presented with sudden onset pain in his lower back and lower extremities. He went on to experience complete motor loss of the lower extremities two hours after admission.Chest pain and shortness of breath developed one day later but were not present at time of presentation.Computed tomography angiography of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis revealed occlusion by thrombosis of the abdominal aorta in addition to multifocal pulmonary ground-glass opacities prompting COVID-19 PCR,which was positive. He was taken to surgery for attempted thrombectomy and the thrombus was retrieved starting from the right common femoral artery, but a second thrombus had immediately reformed in place of the prior thrombectomy site resulting in conclusion of the procedure. He was continued on unfractionated heparin and received a dose of tocilizumab 400 mg,but rapidly developed hemodynamic compromise and expired from cardiac arrest.CONCLUSION This presentation emphasizes the importance of evaluating patients for COVID-19 who experience unusual thromboses without superior explanation. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: Hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) which is a serious complication after orthotopic liver transplanta- tion (OLT) remains a significant cause of graft loss. The purpose of this study was to sum up our experiences in the prevention, diagnosis and management of HAT after liver transplantation. METHODS: From April 1993 to September 2003, a total of 198 patients underwent OLT at our hospital. The hepatic artery was anastomosed using 7/0 prolane with running continuous suture in 96 patients (group 1) and with inter- rupted suture in 102 (group 2). Ultrasonography was per- formed every day in two weeks after operation and selec- tively afterwards. RESULTS: HAT occurred in 6 patients (6.3%, 6/96) of group 1, and in 1 (1%, 1/102) of group 2 (x2=4.027, P= 0.045). Six patients received emergency thrombectomy, and 1 conservative therapy but died from tumor recurrence eventually. Biliary complication developed in 3 patients af- ter thrombectomy of whom 2 died of liver failure and one waited for retransplantation. In the other 3 patients after thrombectomy, 1 died of renal failure, and 2 survived. The mortality of patients with HAT was 57.1% (4/7). CONCLUSIONS: The technique of hepatic arterial anasto- mosis is the key factor for the prevention of HAT. Routine ultrasonography is very important in early detection of HAT after OLT. Biliary complication is a severe outcome secondary to HAT. 展开更多

BACKGROUND Thromboembolic complications are relatively common causes of increased morbidity and mortality in the perioperative period in liver transplant patients.Early postoperative portal vein thrombosis(PVT,incidence 2%-2.6%)and early hepatic artery thrombosis(HAT,incidence 3%-5%)have a poor prognosis in transplant patients, having impacts on graft and patient survival. In the present study,we attempted to identify the predictive factors of these complications for early detection and therefore monitor more closely the patients most at risk of thrombotic complications.AIM To investigate whether intraoperative thromboelastography(TEG)is useful in detecting the risk of early postoperative HAT and PVT in patients undergoing liver transplantation(LT).METHODS We retrospectively collected thromboelastographic traces,in addition to known risk factors(cold ischemic time, intraoperative requirement for red blood cells and fresh-frozen plasma transfusion, prolonged operating time),in 27 patients, selected among 530 patients(≥18 years old),who underwent their first LT from January 2002 to January 2015 at the Liver University Transplant Center and developed an early PVT or HAT(case group).Analyses of the TEG traces were performed before anesthesia and 120 min after reperfusion. We retrospectively compared these patients with the same number of nonconsecutive control patients who underwent LT in the same study period without developing these complications(1:1 match)(control group). The chosen matching parameters were:Patient graft and donor characteristics[age, sex, body mass index(BMI)],indication for transplantation, procedure details,United Network for Organ Sharing classification,BMI,warm ischemia time(WIT),cold ischemia time(CIT),the volume of blood products transfused, and conventional laboratory coagulation analysis.Normally distributed continuous data are reported as the mean±SD and compared using one-way Analysis of Variance(ANOVA).Nonnormally distributed continuous data are reported as the median(interquartile range)and compared using the Mann-Whitney test.Categorical variables were analyzed with Chi-square tests with Yates correction or Fisher’s exact test depending on best applicability.IBM SPSS Statistics version 24(SPSS Inc.,Chicago,IL,United States)was employed for statistical analysis.Statistical significance was set at P<0.05.RESULTS Postoperative thrombotic events were identified as early if they occurred within 21 d postoperatively. The incidence of early hepatic artery occlusion was 3.02%,whereas the incidence of PVT was 2.07%.A comparison between the case and control groups showed some differences in the duration of surgery, which was longer in the case group(P=0.032),whereas transfusion of blood products, red blood cells, fresh frozen plasma, and platelets, was similar between the two study groups.Thromboelastographic parameters did not show any statistically significant difference between the two groups, except for the G value measured at basal and 120’postreperfusion time.It was higher, although within the reference range,in the case group than in the control group(P=0.001 and P<0.001,respectively).In addition, clot lysis at 60 min(LY60)measured at 120’postreperfusion time was lower in the case group than in the control group(P=0.035).This parameter is representative of a fibrinolysis shutdown(LY60=0%-0.80%)in 85%of patients who experienced a thrombotic complication, resulting in a statistical correlation with HAT and PVT.CONCLUSION The end of surgery LY60 and G value may identify those recipients at greater risk of developing early HAT or PVT,suggesting that they may benefit from intense surveillance and eventually anticoagulation prophylaxis in order to prevent these serious complications after LT. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: Hepatic artery thrombosis (HAT) is a frequent complication following liver transplantation, but it is rarely caused by arcuate ligament compression of the celiac artery. This article mainly describes our experience in managing a patient with celiac artery stenosis and HAT after liver transplantation. METHODS: A 44-year-old man with a 15-year history of hepatitis B was admitted to our hospital for hepatocellular carcinoma. Before the operatiori, he received transarterial chemoembolization once, and pretransplant MR angiography indicated a suspected stenosis at the initiation of the celiac artery, while color Doppler showed normal blood flow in the arterial system. In this case, orthotopic liver transplantation was performed for radical cure of hepatocellular carcinoma. However, B-ultrasonography detected poor blood flow in the intra- and extra-hepatic artery on the first posttransplant day, and during exploratory laparotomy a thrombus was found in the hepatic artery. Thus, re-transplantation was conducted with a bypass between the graft hepatic artery and the recipient abdominal aorta with the donor's splenic artery. RESULTS: The patient made an uneventful recovery and color Doppler showed good blood flow in the artery and portal system. Histology confirmed extensive thrombosis in the left and right hepatic artery of the explanted graft, indicating HAT. CONCLUSIONS: Although HAT caused by celiac trunk compression is rarely reported in liver transplantation, the diagnosis should be considered in patients with pretransplant hepatic artery stenosis on angiography and abnormal blood flow on B-ultrasonography. Once HAT is formed, treatment such as thrombectomy or retransplantation should be performed as early as possible. 展开更多

Objective:To compare the differences in postoperative survival and complications between extended right liver transplantation(ERLT)and whole liver transplantation(WLT).Methods:The Chinese and English databases were searched for clinical studies on comparing ERLT with WLT for end-stage liver disease from the date of database construction to April 15,2022.The searched literature was de-duplicated and selected according to the order of title, abstract and content, after which NOS quality evaluation was performed for literature that matched the study.Postoperative complications and survival data were extracted from the eligible literature and subjected to Meta-analysis with Review Manager 5.3,and finally data sensitivity analysis and publication bias tests were performed. Results:The complication of ERLT such as biliary complications[OR=1.77,95%CI=(1.39,2.25),P<0.00001],biliary leakage[OR=2.16,95%CI=(1.64,2.84),P<0.0001],total vascular complications[OR=2.00,95%CI=(1.48,2.70),P<0.0001],hepatic arterial thrombosis[OR=2.06,95%CI=(1.50,2.83),P<0.00001],re-Transplantation[OR=1.93,95%CI=(1.53,2.45),P<0.00001]have a higher occurrence rate compared with WLT.While the biliary stenosis[OR=0.74,95%CI=(0.48,1.15),P=0.18],hepatic portal vein thrombosis[OR=1.72,95%CI=(0.84,3.49),P=0.14],primary non-function[OR=1.27,95%CI=(0.80,2.02),P=0.32]had no statistically difference in the incidence of complications after liver transplantation. In terms of survival,ERLT had lower 1-year graft survival rate[OR=0.64,95%CI=(0.54,0.76),P<0.00001]and patient survival rate[OR=0.75,95%CI=(0.62,0.91),P=0.003]than WLT.Fortunately, there was no statistically difference in 5-year graft survival rate[OR=0.97,95%CI=(0.76,1.23),P=0.78]and 5-year patient survival rate[OR=0.94,95%CI=(0.78,1.14),P=0.54].Conclusion:ERLT is a safe and effective treatment for adult end-stage liver disease. As a surgical method with postoperative complications and survival similar to that of WLT,ERLT can increase the source of donor liver. 展开更多

AIM:To retrospectively investigate microsurgical hepatic artery(HA) reconstruction and management of hepatic thrombosis in adult-to-adult living donor liver transplantation(A-A LDLT).METHODS:From January 2001 to September 2009,182 recipients with end-stage liver disease underwent A-A LDLT.Ten of these patients received dual grafts. The 157 men and 25 women had an age range of 18 to 68 years(mean age,42 years).Microsurgical techniques and running sutures with back-wall first techniques were performed in all arterial reconstructions under surgical loupes(3.5 ×) by a group of vascular surgeons.Intimal dissections were resolved by interposition of the great saphenous vein(GSV) between the donor right hepatic artery(RHA) and recipient common HA(3 cases) or abdominal aorta(AA)(2 cases),by interposition of cryopreserved iliac vessels between the donor RHA and recipient AA(2 cases).RESULTS:In the 58 incipient patients in this series, hepatic arterial thrombosis(HAT) was encountered in 4 patients, and was not observed in 124 consecutive cases(total 192 grafts, major incidence,2.08%).All cases of HAT were suspected by routine color Doppler ultrasonographic examination and confirmed by contrast-enhanced ultrasound and hepatic angiography.Of these cases of HAT,two occurred on the 1st and 7th d,respectively, following A-A LDLT,and were immediately revascularized with GSV between the graft and recipient AA.HAT in one patient occurred on the 46th postoperative day with no symptoms, and the remaining case of HAT occurred on the 3rd d following A-A LDLT,and was cured by thrombolytic therapy combined with an anticoagulant but died of multiorgan failure on the 36th d after A-A LDLT.No deaths were related to HAT.CONCLUSION:Applying microsurgical techniques and selecting an appropriate anastomotic artery for HA reconstruction are crucial in reducing the high risk of HAT during A-A LDLT. 展开更多

Acute mesenteric ischemia(AMI)is a rare cause of the“acute abdomen”,characterized by impaired blood flow to the intestine. The principle of treatment is restoration of perfusion to ischemic bowel and resection of any necrotic intestine.Surgery and endovascular intervention are two complementary approaches to mesenteric ischemia.Endovascular intervention is not an alternative to the surgical approach, but it has the potential to improve the prognosis of patients with AMI when judiciously combined with a surgical approach.Due to the need for emergent treatment of patients with acute mesenteric ischemia, the treatment strategy needs to be modified for each facility. This review aims to highlight cutting-edge studies and provide reasonable treatment strategies for patients with acute mesenteric ischemia based on available evidence. 展开更多
