Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching projec...Background:With the continuous development of information technology,most universities use mobile teaching platforms for classroom teaching.With the help of the national virtual simulation experimental teaching project sharing platform,students can enhance self-directed learning through the virtual simulation operations of the project.Purpose:To explore the application of virtual simulation experiment in teaching the fundamentals of nursing practice based on the Platform of the National Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching Project during the COVID-19 pandemic analyze the impact of this teaching method on the autonomous learning ability of undergraduate nursing students.Methods:Convenience sampling was used to select 121 nursing undergraduates from Y University’s School of Nursing;the online teaching of fundamentals of nursing practice was conducted to the students.After taking the course,questionnaires were distributed to the undergraduate nursing students to collect their perceptions regarding the use of the virtual simulation experiment platform and autonomous learning competencies.Results:Most students expressed their preference for the virtual simulation teaching platform,and their satisfaction with the project evaluation was high 83.05%.They hoped to promote the application in future experimental teaching.Undergraduate nursing students believed that the virtual simulation teaching platform was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,could stimulate learning interest,enhanced autonomous learning competencies.Conclusion:During the pandemic,the virtual simulation teaching platform for a lecture on in nursing education has achieved good results in both the aspects of teaching and student learning.Teachers efficiently used their training time and reduced their teaching burden.Moreover,the laboratory cost was also reduced.For undergraduate nursing students,the system was conducive to cultivating clinical thinking ability,stimulating their interest in learning,enhancing their learning and comprehension abilities and learning initiative.展开更多

The study aims to verify the teachability of listening comprehension strategies, the enhancement of students' awareness of applying these strategies in their listening comprehension pratice and positive effects of listening comprehension strategies cast on students' listening comprehension proficiency. Questionnares on listening comprehension strategies were conducted at the beginning and at the end of the research respectively, in addition to the listening comprehension strategies training from the beginning to the end of the research. Besides, there was a interview arranged in the middle of the research. Meanwhile, there were two listening comprehension proficiency tests arranged at the beginning and at the end of the research. The purpose of this paper is to share the findings of an action research aiming at helping college students to improve their speaking by applying a WeChat-based autonomous learning community.WeChat is the most wide-sp...The purpose of this paper is to share the findings of an action research aiming at helping college students to improve their speaking by applying a WeChat-based autonomous learning community.WeChat is the most wide-spread social media platform in China.In this 10-week action research,a total of 16 participants in a Chinese university were involved.After identifying the incentive of participating in this WeChat Group speaking activity,most of which were related with pronunciation and a lack of speaking fluency practice,an action plan was developed and implemented.In this WeChat group,the participants received weekly learning material about pronunciation and speaking assignments accordingly,then they had one week to learn the pronunciation independently and prepare the oral assignments.Following this,participants submitted their voice recording in the WeChat group and were given feedback by an instructor in this group.Observations,questionnaires,and surveys were used to collect data.The results show a positive feedback from the learners on a WeChat-based autonomous learning community.The study observes(1)college EFL learners have a strong motivation;intrinsic motivation especially has a positive relationship with participants’performance;(2)students have a positive attitude towards WeChat-based autonomous learning community;(3)timely feedback from instructors is highly valued by language learners.展开更多

文摘Ideological and political theory teaching course is the public compulsory course of college students, which is the effective measures of conducting socialism core value system education for college students and realizing the ideological political and moral quality cultivation and improvement of chinese characteristic socialism successors, the ideological and political theory course learning of college students has obvious features in chinese university education, reflecting the party central committee' s great attention to college students' ideological and political education, and we should strengthen college students' ideological and political theory education, explore autonomous learning path of university exploration college students and promote the combination of theory and practice of college students, realizing autonomous learning, autonomous education and autonomous improvement, in order to effectively improve the effect of ideological and political theory education.
文摘Improving Non-English major students' autonomous learning is a focus for the teachers in the high vocational and technical college. Furthermore, promoting students' autonomous learning through metcacognitive strategies training has been received increasing attention. The research reports an empirical study on the relationship between metacognitive strategies and English autonomous learning. Finally, the teaching experiment was proved to be feasible and valid.
文摘The purpose of this paper is to share the findings of an action research aiming at helping college students to improve their speaking by applying a WeChat-based autonomous learning community.WeChat is the most wide-spread social media platform in China.In this 10-week action research,a total of 16 participants in a Chinese university were involved.After identifying the incentive of participating in this WeChat Group speaking activity,most of which were related with pronunciation and a lack of speaking fluency practice,an action plan was developed and implemented.In this WeChat group,the participants received weekly learning material about pronunciation and speaking assignments accordingly,then they had one week to learn the pronunciation independently and prepare the oral assignments.Following this,participants submitted their voice recording in the WeChat group and were given feedback by an instructor in this group.Observations,questionnaires,and surveys were used to collect data.The results show a positive feedback from the learners on a WeChat-based autonomous learning community.The study observes(1)college EFL learners have a strong motivation;intrinsic motivation especially has a positive relationship with participants’performance;(2)students have a positive attitude towards WeChat-based autonomous learning community;(3)timely feedback from instructors is highly valued by language learners.
文摘This study conducted an action research on facilitating students’vocabulary autonomous learning competence by applying web corpora into vocabulary teaching in EFL classroom.The research last for one semester(15 weeks),53intermediateEnglish learners.whose age ranged from 20 to 22 were the subjects.The data was collected usingquestionnaire,teacher’s log,students’diaries and interview.The findings were discussed in the light of interventions and recommendations in the classroom instruction.
文摘This paper mainly focuses on the development of autonomous learning worldwide and its reflections on English teachingin China.Autonomous learning,which is beneficial to one’s lifelong journey,is the ability to take responsibility for one’s learning.The final goal of education is to cultivate students with autonomous learning skills.As for EFL teachers,three steps are as followed.Firstly,EFL teachers need to be trained to learn autonomously.Secondly,EFL teachers should construct some online autonomouslearning platforms.Thirdly,EFL teachers need to motivate learners to listen and watch more about English to arouse students’ in-terests in the target language.
