With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,face recognition systems are widely used in daily lives.Face recognition applications often need to process large amounts of image data.Maintaining the accuracy an...With the rapid development of artificial intelligence,face recognition systems are widely used in daily lives.Face recognition applications often need to process large amounts of image data.Maintaining the accuracy and low latency is critical to face recognition systems.After analyzing the two-tier architecture“client-cloud”face recognition systems,it is found that these systems have high latency and network congestion when massive recognition requirements are needed to be responded,and it is very inconvenient and inefficient to deploy and manage relevant applications on the edge of the network.This paper proposes a flexible and efficient edge computing accelerated architecture.By offloading part of the computing tasks to the edge server closer to the data source,edge computing resources are used for image preprocessing to reduce the number of images to be transmitted,thus reducing the network transmission overhead.Moreover,the application code does not need to be rewritten and can be easily migrated to the edge server.We evaluate our schemes based on the open source Azure IoT Edge,and the experimental results show that the three-tier architecture“Client-Edge-Cloud”face recognition system outperforms the state-of-art face recognition systems in reducing the average response time.展开更多

It offers a recommendation for the top 1000 Authors of co...This research paper has provided the methodology and design for implementing the hybrid author recommender system using Azure Data Lake Analytics and Power BI. It offers a recommendation for the top 1000 Authors of computer science in different fields of study. The technique used in this paper is handling the inadequate Information for citation;it removes the problem of cold start, which is encountered by very many other recommender systems. In this paper, abstracts, the titles, and the Microsoft academic graphs have been used in coming up with the recommendation list for every document, which is used to combine the content-based approaches and the co-citations. Prioritization and the blending of every technique have been allowed by the tuning system parameters, allowing for the authority in results of recommendation versus the paper novelty. In the end, we do observe that there is a direct correlation between the similarity rankings that have been produced by the system and the scores of the participant. The results coming from the associated scrips of analysis and the user survey have been made available through the recommendation system. Managers must gain the required expertise to fully utilize the benefits that come with business intelligence systems [1]. Data mining has become an important tool for managers that provides insights about their daily operations and leverage the information provided by decision support systems to improve customer relationships [2]. Additionally, managers require business intelligence systems that can rank the output in the order of priority. Ranking algorithm can replace the traditional data mining algorithms that will be discussed in-depth in the literature review [3].展开更多

Black clay (BC) was used as a catalyst for the decolorization of Azure B dye by Fenton process. BC was modi ed by acid, alkali, distilled water, and calcination to check their changes in characterization and e ciency on decolorization of Azure B. Among three modi ed catalysts, maximum decolorization was obtained by acid-modi ed BC (AMBC) catalyst due to the highest removal of impurities, comparatively. The characterization of AMBC was done by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and X-ray di raction spectroscopy which show the presence of metal ion. The BET surface area, pore volume, pore size, and density of AMBC were calculated to be 79.402 m 2 /g, 0.0608 m 3 /g, 0.00306 nm, and 16 g/cm 3 , respectively. The highest decolorization of 97.59% was achieved only in 10 min using AMBC at optimized calcination of 100 °C and 3 h of aging. AMBC was considered as the main catalyst for optimizing the di erent process parameters. Optimized conditions were obtained: pH 2, 0.2 mL of H 2 O 2 , catalyst dose 0.3 g, room temperature (30 °C), and stirring speed 400 r/min. The catalyst has showed excellent stability and reusability. It could remove more than 85% of color even after four cycles of run and less than negligible leaching of iron. AMBC has good recycling ability among other modi ed catalysts. To check the selectivity of catalyst, di erent dyes such as Congo red and mixed dye (mixture of Azure B and Congo red) decolorization were studied. In the present work, kinetic study was also carried out and a three-stage decolorization process was found.展开更多
