Its forming age and petrogenesis are critical for better understanding the orogenic process and relationship of the Yangtze and Cathaysian blocks since the Neoproterozoic. However, few zircon U-Pb ages of samples from the Yingyangguan Group have been reported, which are much debated, such as the metamorphic spilite (819±11 Ma), keratophyre (415.1±2.1 Ma) and ignimbrite (821.3±3.9 Ma) (Tian Yang et al., 2015 and references in). In this study, we focus on the new discovered Early Yanshannian monzogranite and its mafic enclaves from the Yingyangguan Group, and conducted zircon U-Pb dating and in-situ Hf isotopic analyses to constrain their petrogenesis.展开更多

The holotype specimen consists of the left ilium, left pubis, anterior caudals, most of the dorsal ribs and distal end of the left femur. Fusuisaurus zhaoi is diagnosed by a unique combination of character states among the known sauropods. It displays several synapomorphies of Titanosauriformes but lacks many derived features seen in other titanosauriforms, suggesting that the new taxon represents the basalmost known titanosauriform and providing new evidence that Titanosauriformes originated from Asia. A size comparison suggests that Fusuisaurus zhaoi is among the largest Early Cretaceous sauropods, providing an important addition to the Early Cretaceous Chinese sauropod diversity.展开更多

At the top of the profile is developed a red clay zone which is characterized mineralogically by kaolinite, iron oxide minerals, quartz, and a small amount of illite, montmorillonite and vermiculite. In going downwards the red clay zone gives way to a saprolite zone in which plagioclase pseudomorphs have been well preserved although replaced by kaolinite. Beneath the saprolite zone is the saprock zone characterized by less weathering for dacite. At the bottom of the weathering profile is the parent material, dacite, which is composed mainly of plagioclase, quartz, K-feldspar and biotite which have been largely altered into chlorite owing to submarine extrusion of dacite lavas. Some layers in the weathering profile show obvious sodium enrichment and potassium depletion relative to others. In the Al2O3-(CaO*+Na2O)-K2O triangular diagram, the weathering trends of these layers in the middle stage are remarkably deviated from normal ones. Both mineralogy and micro-morphology of these layers indicate such deviation resulted from sodic metasomatism of orthoclase.展开更多

Regional variation characteristics of grain production are introduced from two aspects of the decline of grain sowing area and the increase of grain output. According to the data in Guangxi Statistical Yearbook, comparative advantages of regional grain production in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region are analyzed by the method of Comprehensive Comparative Dominance Index. Result shows that eastern Guangxi and northern Guangxi have the maximum comprehensive dominance indices with the minimum increasing amount of dominance indices. Their advantages in grain production are gradually diminished; and the grain production center is moving to central Guangxi and southern Guangxi. In order to solve the problems in grain production, Guangxi should make full use of the comparative advantage in agricultural production, carry out structural adjustment of agricultural production, and try to realize the rational distribution and specialization of agricultural production.展开更多

The same problem of water shortage is one of the hot spots of global concern. The peak-cluster depression basins in southwest of Guangxi is an important water connotation and ecological barrier areas in the Pearl River Basin of China. Thus, studying the spatial and temporal variations and the influencing factors of its water yield services is critical to achieve the sustainable development of water resources and ecological environmental protection in this region. As such, this paper uses the Integrated Valuation of Ecosystem Services and Tradeoffs(InVEST) model to assess the spatial and temporal variabilities of water yield services and its trends in the peak-cluster depression basins in southwest of Guangxi from 2000 to 2020. This work also integrates precipitation(Pre), reference evapotranspiration(ET), temperature(Tem), digital elevation model(DEM), slope, normalized difference vegetation index(NDVI), land use/land cover(LULC) and soil type to reveal the main factors that influence water yield services with the help of Geodetector. Results show that: 1) in time scale, the total annual water yield in the study area show a fluctuating and increasing trend from 2000 to 2020, with a growth rate of 7.3753 × 10^(8)m^(3)/yr, and its multi-year average water yield was 538.07 mm;2) in spatial pattern, with high yield areas mainly distributed in the south of the study area(mainly including Shangsi County, Pingxiang City, Ningming County, Longzhou County and Jingxi County), and low yield areas mainly distributed in Baise City and Nanning City;3) the dominant factor of water yield within karst and non-karst landforms is not necessarily controlled by precipitation, and the explanation degree of DEM factors in karst areas is significantly higher than that in non-karst areas;4) amongst the climatic factors, Pre, ET and Tem are dominant in the spatial pattern of region water yield capacity. among which Pre has the highest explanatory power for the spatial heterogeneity of annual water production, with q values above0.8, and each driver showed a significant interaction on the spatial distribution of water yield, with Pre exhibiting the strongest interaction with LULC.展开更多

Taking the Guangxi Xijiang River Economic Belt in southwest China (GXEB) as a case study, we assess ecological vulnerability based on the Vulnerability Scoping Diagram (VSD) model. The indices system is decomposed into three sub objects, ten elements and 25 indicators layer by layer, which included factors from both natural and human ifelds. Results indicate that zones with lower, middle-lower, middle, middle-higher and higher vulnerability account for 11.31%, 22.63%, 27.60%, 24.39%, and 14.07%, respectively. The western and eastern parts of GXEB are more vulnerable than the central part and the mountain and urban areas are of higher vulnerability than the basins and river valleys. Compared with a vulnerability assessment based on natural factors only, it is concluded that human activities indeed cause the transition from naturally stable zones to vulnerable zones. The nature-dominated vulnerable zones are different with human-dominated ones in size and distribution, the latter being smaller, more scattered and distributed in urban areas and their surroundings. About 53%of total construction land is distributed in zones with middle and middle-higher ecological vulnerability;less vulnerable zones should attract construction in the future. Relevant suggestions are proposed on how to reduce vulnerability according to inducing factors. The VSD model has a signiifcant advantage in the quantitative evaluation of ecological vulnerability, but is insufficient to distinguish nature- or human-dominated vulnerability quantitatively.展开更多

In order to solve the problems in grain production, Guangxi should make full use of the comparative advantage in agricultural production, carry out structural adjustment of agricultural production, and try to realize the rational distribution and specialization of agricultural production.

文摘Karst environmental issues have become one of the hot spots in contemporary international geological research. Results show that: 1) in time scale, the total annual water yield in the study area show a fluctuating and increasing trend from 2000 to 2020, with a growth rate of 7.3753 × 10^(8)m^(3)/yr, and its multi-year average water yield was 538.07 mm;2) in spatial pattern, with high yield areas mainly distributed in the south of the study area(mainly including Shangsi County, Pingxiang City, Ningming County, Longzhou County and Jingxi County), and low yield areas mainly distributed in Baise City and Nanning City;3) the dominant factor of water yield within karst and non-karst landforms is not necessarily controlled by precipitation, and the explanation degree of DEM factors in karst areas is significantly higher than that in non-karst areas;4) amongst the climatic factors, Pre, ET and Tem are dominant in the spatial pattern of region water yield capacity. among which Pre has the highest explanatory power for the spatial heterogeneity of annual water production, with q values above0.8, and each driver showed a significant interaction on the spatial distribution of water yield, with Pre exhibiting the strongest interaction with LULC.

文摘Firstly,it is briefly introduced that Guangxi characteristic economic agricultural products are currently characterized by typical regional features and strong competitiveness. Then,Guilin is taken as an example, the problems existing in constructing the supply chain and brand of Guilin characteristic economic agricultural products are pointed out after the analysis of its current situations, the problems include weak agricultural production infrastructure, weak deep products processing capacity, low modernization level of storage and transportation as well as short of fixed marketing channels;meanwhile, brand construction faces the problems of little top brands and few differentiated products. Finally, some measures are proposed to solve these problems from the perspectives of establishing the management idea of agricultural products supply chain and enhancing the awareness to protect agricultural products brand,it is also suggested that these measures be extended to the whole Guangxi autonomous region in order to explore the way of the development of Guangxi characteristic agriculture.

文摘The interactive effects of natural and human factors on ecosystems have been well studied, and the quantitative assessment of large-scale ecological vulnerability caused by natural and human factors is now one of the most active topics in the ifeld. The VSD model has a signiifcant advantage in the quantitative evaluation of ecological vulnerability, but is insufficient to distinguish nature- or human-dominated vulnerability quantitatively.

文摘A new hadrosaurid dinosaur, Nanningosaurus dashiensis gen. et sp. nov., is described based on an incomplete skeleton from the Late Cretaceous red beds of the Nalong Basin, Guangxi, southern China. Diagnostic features for the new taxon include the presence of a tall and sharply peaked dorsal process of the maxilla with reduced process of the jugal and a distinct lacrimal facet, gracile humerus with low, rounded deltopectoral crest, mandibular condyle of the quadrate transversly broad with reduced paraquadrate notch, dentary tooth with sinuous median carina and subsidiary ridge, relatively few tooth positions, ischial shaft straight along most of its distance, but to curve dorsally and expand at the distal end before the ischial foot begins. Phylogenetic analysis suggests that Nanningosaurus dashiensis is a basal member of Lambeosaurinae.

文摘[Objective] The aim was to analyze one strong precipitation process in Northern Guangxi from May 27 to 28 in 2010.[Method] By dint of 2.5×2.5 NCEP reanalysis data, physical quantities such as the water vapor flux,pseudo-equivalent temperature,Non-geotropic wet Q vector in one front rainstorm process in north Guangxi from May 27 to 28 in 2010 was expounded. The forecast application of Non-geotropic wet Q vector in rainstorm falling area in Guangxi during early flood period was discussed.[Result] The water vapor in Bay of Bengal transported to Guangxi and formed convergence lifting movement in north Guangxi, which provided favorable water vapor transportation condition for the generation of strong precipitation in north Guangxi. The 850 hPa pseudo-equivalent temperature front (close area) moved southward to the north part of Guangxi.North Guangxi was in pseudo-equivalent temperature area. The highly wet unstable energy of lower layer and the cold air penetrating downward from the middle layer led to potential instability in the lower level established in northern Guangxi, which thus provided certain thermal condition for the strong precipitation process;Northern Guangxi was in the overlap region of the maximum gradient region of contour Qx at 850 hPa and stronger negative areas of ▽Q,which provided favorable dynamic condition for the rainstorm process in northern Guangxi in the future.[Conclusion] The study provided reference in accordance to the forecast of rainstorm.

文摘It is unclear whether the South China blocks have an affinity with continental Gondwana due to a lack of direct Pan-African magmatic and metamorphic features. In this study,we conducted U-Pb geochronological and Lu-Hf isotopic analyses for detrital zircons from a sandstone of the Chang'an Formation of the Nanhua Group in the Longsheng region of northern Guangxi, with the aim of constraining the timing of sedimentation and information as to its source,as well as seeking evidence for Pan-African events in the South China blocks. The results show that the ages of detrital zircons peaked at 654.7±6.2 Ma,773.2±4.1 Ma and 821.9±6.5 Ma,with some at 920–870 Ma;the youngest age indicates the existence of the Pan-African thermal event. The ε_(Hf)(t)and T_(DM2) values demonstrate that the study area has experienced three stages of crustal growth at 3.0–2.4 Ga,2.1–1.5 Ga and 1.3–0.9 Ga.With intensively distributed Neoproterozoic mafic-ultramafic and granitic plutons emplaced at 830–810 Ma along the southwestern section of the Jiangnan Orogenic Belt and positiveεHf(t)values from a large group of zircon grains,it is proposed that the sediments of the Chang'an Formation(of Nanhua Group)were largely sourced from the southeastern margin of the Yangtze block.Comparison with the zircon age spectra of the Cathaysian block shows that about 79%of the Pan-African aged detrital zircon grains that have TDM2=1352–1031 Ma andεHf(t)=3.68–8.79,were sourced from the recycled Grenvillian crust of the Cathaysian block, suggesting that the Cathaysian block had a close connection with Gondwana.

文摘Based on the similarity in geographic and climatic conditions between Guangxi and Vietnam, a new extension model, i.e., variety prescreening test in Nanning-variety screening tests in Vietnam-multi-location test and demonstration in Vietnam-commercial production in Vietnam, was put forward for rapid extension of the hybrid rice varieties from Guangxi, China in Vietnam. Through practice, this model had a very good effect on a group of hybrid rice varieties like Teyou 136 selected for rapid extension in Vietnam. Besides, some suggestions were offered for the extension of Guangxi hybrid rice varieties in Vietnam.
