The...This paper introduces a novel robot for outer surface inspection of boiler tubes. The paper describes the hardware system, wireless communication strategy, communication procedure and system software of the robot. The WLAN technology is used in the robot. It solves the problem of shielding generated by iron boiler and 11Mbps bandwidth made it possible for video and control stream real-time transmit within the same channel. Though TCP/IP protocol is robust, serial server is a transparent channel but cannot detect error and retransmit the data. In order to improve the reliability of serial communication, a new communication protocol is proposed. By ...Although the sonic soot cleaning techniques have been applied in boilers in power plants, petrochemical works and general industries world wide, most of the correlated basic problems have not been well solved yet. By using Helmholtz integral equation, sound wave scattered by heat-exchanger tubes is numerically calculated. Sound field distribution characteristics on the tube surfaces and around the tube group is obtained. The results can be applied to the development of sonic soot cleaning techniques in boilers.展开更多

Thanks to the technical innovation, the Ф 140 product line has become the most efficient one in the world. With the advance of conglomeracy and the construction of the most advanced weld pipe line and the Ф460 premium quality finishing （PQF） line ,the catalogue of Baosteel tube ＆pipe products has covered the extensive range from the hot roll to cold roll, the seamless to the welded, and all of the product dimension scope from 25.4 mm to 610 ram. To meet the requirements of relevant industries such as energy ,transportation, machinery,ammunition and other relevant industries, the product variety is diverting from carbon steel to alloy steel, stainless steel and special alloys. As the Baosteel Steel Tubing Plant increased its number of production units, expanded its production capacity and developed new products ,it has grown into a pipe and tube supplier with global competitiveness.展开更多
