The urban heat island(UHI) effect has significant effects on the quality of life and public health. Numerous studies have addressed the relationship between UHI and the increase in urban impervious surface area(ISA), ...The urban heat island(UHI) effect has significant effects on the quality of life and public health. Numerous studies have addressed the relationship between UHI and the increase in urban impervious surface area(ISA), but few of them have considered the impact of the spatial configuration of ISA on UHI. Land surface temperature(LST) may be affected not only by urban land cover, but also by neighboring land cover. The aim of this research was to investigate the effects of the abundance and spatial association of ISAs on LST. Taking Harbin City, China as an example, the impact of ISA spatial association on LST measurements was examined. The abundance of ISAs and the LST measurements were derived from Landsat Thematic Mapper(TM) imagery of 2000 and 2010, and the spatial association patterns of ISAs were calculated using the local Moran’s I index. The impacts of ISA abundance and spatial association on LST were examined using correlation analysis. The results suggested that LST has significant positive associations with both ISA abundance and the Moran’s I index of ISAs, indicating that both the abundance and spatial clustering of ISAs contribute to elevated values of LST. It was also found that LST is positively associated with clustering of high-ISA-percentage areas(i.e.,>50%) and negatively associated with clustering of low-ISA-percentage areas(i.e.,<25%). The results suggest that, in addition to the abundance of ISAs,their spatial association has a significant effect on UHIs.展开更多

Meanwhile, the pipeline confi...The safety of offshore pipeline has drawn a great deal of attention during deepwater installation due to the combined actions of high external pressure, axial tension, and bending moment. Meanwhile, the pipeline configuration has a remarkable effect on the structural behaviour of the tube. The special studies focus on the deepwater S-lay technique in the present paper. The stiffened catenary theory is applied to establish the static equilibrium governing differential equation of a pipe element, and the solution equations of the total pipeline configuration from a lay-barge over a stinger to the seabed are derived, The numerical iteration method for solving pipeline configuration is described in detail, and the corresponding program is developed to conduct the analysis of effects of various parameters such as laying water depth, pipe diameter, thickness of concrete weighted coating layer, stinger length, control strain, and axial tension on pipeline configuration. The results show that the laying water depth, the submerged weight of the pipe, and the axial tension are the critical factors influencing pipeline configuration. In addition, geometrical parameters of the stinger such as length, radius, and shape have an important effect on the pipe-laying capacity of the vessel. The validity of the program is further verified by means of a comparison with results obtained from the commercial finite element software OFFPIPE.展开更多

As a continuum model of DNA, a thin elastic rod subjected to interfacial interactions is used to investigate the helical equilibrium configuration of DNA in salt solution. In this paper, the Kirchhoff's equations in the presence of interracial traction and the free energy density functions of different configurations are studied. The transition formula of the free energy between B-DNA and Z- DNA is obtained, and the results show that the free energy of the transition is mainly determined by the salt concentra- tion, which agrees well with the experimental data.展开更多

Basing on a deep investigation into the market and the structure of the aircraft, this paper proposed a method of dividing and creating the aircraft options, in which we set up optional constraints to meet the demand of configuration and then optimized the constraint algorithm. This work can help to realize the optimum association between the aircraft options and modules. 目的探讨NOTCH3基因第5外显子C260S位点突变导致的伴有皮层下梗死和白质脑病的常染色体显性遗传性脑动脉病(cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy,CADASIL)家系的临床和影像学...目的探讨NOTCH3基因第5外显子C260S位点突变导致的伴有皮层下梗死和白质脑病的常染色体显性遗传性脑动脉病(cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy,CADASIL)家系的临床和影像学特征。方法选取2021年12月首都医科大学附属北京同仁医院来自同一家庭的CADASIL患者,对所有患者进行NOTCH3基因测序,回顾性分析患者的临床表现和头颅影像学特征。复习既往文献报道的导致同一位置氨基酸改变的其他突变类型的临床及影像学特征。结果4名家庭成员中,包括先证者(46岁,女)及其两个姐姐(分别为48岁和50岁)和女儿(18岁)。先证者及其父亲、两个姐姐都有偏头痛病史,其中大姐有记忆力减退;先证者患有脑梗死及伴有视觉先兆的偏头痛;先证者女儿体健;先证者父亲因脑梗死去世。4名家庭成员均存在C260S位点的NOTCH3基因突变。既往文献无此位点突变的报道,先证者头颅MRI示右侧脑桥亚急性梗死,颞叶、脑室周围及脑干异常高信号改变,其大姐脑桥可见腔隙性梗死灶。结论NOTCH3基因第5外显子c.778T>A(p.C260S)的罕见突变导致的CADASIL发病时间早,早期会出现认知障碍。合并偏头痛的脑干梗死患者,需警惕CADASIL的可能。展开更多
