Based on some influential definitions, and achievements made in sociology and anthropology, this paper makes an attempt to summarize and discuss some characteristics of culture. With regard to the categorization of culture, we put forward the idea that it is closely related to the definition and features of culture, and also that it is closely related with human cognition and different perspectives, and thus culture category is an open system just as culture in general. Cultural development as product of human evolution and development is both a need and reality, going on through cultural transmission. In the process, it is human nature to encounter cultural conflicts like culture shock, the solution of which partially depends on cultural studies, on a close relationship with the main school of culture or dominating culture and on seeking similarities and accepting differences, and in a word, on friendly and cordial contacts and understanding through linguistic communication.展开更多
Based on the techniques of X-ray diffraction analysis, identification of the thin sections of core cast, phys- ical analysis and scanning electron microscopy analysis, this paper studied the reservoir characteristics ...Based on the techniques of X-ray diffraction analysis, identification of the thin sections of core cast, phys- ical analysis and scanning electron microscopy analysis, this paper studied the reservoir characteristics of the Carboniferous strata in Donghe well No.1 of Tarim region. The results show that the reservoir lithology is mainly the fine-grained quartz sandstone with ferrocalcite and pyrite, mud cement-based, the permeability concentrated in 5-40 × 10-3 μm2, a small part of the high permeability up to 150-327 ×10-3 μm2 and porosity ranged from 10% to 20%. The most part of the reservoirs is low perme- ability with a small part of the layer in moderate-high permeability. The types of reservoir space include intergranular pores, intra particle-molding pores, micro-pores and cracks, which mainly are intergranular pores with the pore diameter of 15-200 μm, 95.5μm on average. And the types of the throats are comolex with the main tvne of constricted l:hroats in this area and large contribution to the permeability.展开更多

It is revealed that there is a kind of abrupt nonlinear characteristic behaviour, which relates to rapid onset and intermittency of El Nino events, on the second order slow time scale due to the nonlinear interaction between a linear unstable low-frequency primary eigen component of ocean-atmosphere coupled Kelvin wave and its higher order harmonic components under a strong ocean-atmosphere coupling background. And, on the other hand, there is a kind of finite amplitude nonlinear characteristic behaviour on the second order slow time scale due to the nonlinear interaction between the linear unstable primary eigen component and its higher order harmonic components under a weak ocean-atmosphere coupling background in this model system.展开更多

Tactile perception plays a critical role in the interaction of humans and environment.It begins with the mechanical stimulation induced by friction and is processed in the somatosensory cortex.To quantify the tactile ...Tactile perception plays a critical role in the interaction of humans and environment.It begins with the mechanical stimulation induced by friction and is processed in the somatosensory cortex.To quantify the tactile perceptions of textile fabrics,the mechanical properties of fabrics and the features extracted from the friction and vibration signals were correlated with the subjective sensation rated by questionnaires.Meanwhile,the technique of functional magnetic resonance imaging(fMRI)was used to identify the brain areas responsible for the tactile perception of textile fabrics.The results showed that during the tactile perception of textile fabrics,the coefficient of friction increased with the increasing normal load,indicating that the deformation mechanism of skin was relevant to the friction of skin against fabrics.The features of spectral centroid(SC),coefficient of friction,and diameter and critical buckling force of fiber had a strong correlation with the perceived fineness,slipperiness,and prickliness of fabrics,respectively.The postcentral gyrus,supramarginal gyrus,and precentral gyrus,with the corresponding functional regions of the primary somatosensory cortex(SI),secondary somatosensory cortex(SII),primary motor cortex(MI),and secondary motor cortex(MII),were involved with the perceptions of fabric textures.The fiber properties and fabric surface structures that caused the multidimensional feelings tended to induce the large area,intensity,and percent signal change(PSC)of brain activity.This study is meaning for evaluating the tactile stimulation of textile fabrics and understanding the cognitive mechanism in the tactile perception of textile fabrics.展开更多

First, according to two important criteria, the empty circle features and the maximized minimum angle characteristics, we established constrained conditions. Then, we iterated the container vertices, structure triangular face linked lists, and finally got the Delaunay data. The experimental results showed that the efficiency of the improved triangulation dissection method increased by 9.47% compared with traditional triangulation algorithms in irregular triangle vertex data.展开更多
