Classic English literature is high culture of a sort, too high for tertiary English majors in the 21st China, who have grown up with total exposure to popular culture in an electronic way, to reach so that they show indifference to literature class. To solve this problem, this paper intends to consider the implications and feasibilities of integrating popular culture into literature education in English departments of Chinese universities. After carefully reviewing the current English literature teaching connected with popular culture both in China and other parts of the world, this paper concludes that the choice of the popular culture texts shall be neither too random to include any form of popular culture nor too limited to only cover the film/TV adaptations of literary classics. Subsequently, the paper records the procedure and progress of the author’s classic-literature and popular-culture class and reflects upon the students’ substantial responses to the class. From the record and the reflection, three major findings are drawn: The students know little about how classic literature inspire popular culture and when they know, they become excited and want to know more;when further exploring those original texts which inspired their favourite pop, the students find themselves greatly challenged and stimulated as well;the students have strong desire to reach the “highness” of classic literature and would like to read challenging texts with their own spirits. A conclusion can be drawn from these findings: Both academic and popular literacy of English majors in Chinese universities should be enhanced, and it is workable to incorporate popular culture into literature classroom with careful preparations for classroom activities and guarantees of the smooth implements of these activities. 展开更多

This promotion would also serve as a critical step to advance the cultural development and internationalization of Beijing. As an important group of foreigners living in Beijing, foreign students can play a unique part in upgrading Beijing culture' s international influence.These students look at Beijing culture from a cross-cultural standpoint and thus can offer a vital reference for the international promotion effort. Using a combination of questionnaires and interviews, the author surveyed international students in seven Beijing universities that have a relatively high number of foreign students. Based on this firsthand data, this paper analyzes the Beijing-based international students' identity with Beijing culture, reflects on the experiences and inadequacies in the current promotion of Beijing culture, and makes relevant suggestions regarding the inadequacies. 展开更多

Television as one of the popular culture media plays an important role in the development of students' personality and knowledge because it provides countless information and entertainment that can enhance their knowledge as the viewers. This study was conducted to give an idea whether television viewing and parental attention can assist students to take a decision of choosing major at the senior high school. This study used descriptive method which analyzed the correlation among television viewing, parental attention, and the students' motivation to choose a major. The sample of this study consisted of 100 students of the state senior high school in Malang, East Java. The finding shows that there is no correlation among television viewing, parental attention, and the students' motivation to choose major at the senior high school. In other words, the possibility of choosing the major can be attributed to some other factors such as interest, talent, aspiration, and other expectation to achieve their goals 展开更多

[目的]以三伏贴为例,调查居民中医药科普知识现状及其影响因素,为制定中医药科普宣教策略与方法提供科学建议。[方法]采用网络调查问卷及Logistic回归分析法,研究居民对三伏贴的认知、行为、意愿及影响因素,探讨中医药科普的有效策略及... [目的]以三伏贴为例,调查居民中医药科普知识现状及其影响因素,为制定中医药科普宣教策略与方法提供科学建议。[方法]采用网络调查问卷及Logistic回归分析法,研究居民对三伏贴的认知、行为、意愿及影响因素,探讨中医药科普的有效策略及方法。[结果]居民对其治病类型的认知正确率分别为支气管炎或慢性阻塞性肺疾病(22.9%)、鼻炎(21.4%)、保健和增强免疫力(19.3%);对治疗方式的认知正确率分别为医保可报销(35.0%)和每疗程用药次数(20.3%);只有7.8%居民曾有治疗体验;获取知识途径单一,主要为口口相传(26.6%)和网络(22.6%)。治病类型认知正确率的最大促进因素为基础疾病患者,其比值比(odds ratio,OR)为2.44(P<0.05);治疗方式认知正确率的促进因素有女性(OR=1.70,P<0.01)和参保人员(OR=2.41,P<0.01)。居民知识需求率为71.7%,60岁及以上老年人为100%,国内外科普宣教认同率为78.2%和80.0%。[结论]居民三伏贴科普知识及应用水平较低,但治疗意愿、知识需求及科普宣教认同率较高。建议加大特定疗法的微观宣教,以女性、基础病患者、参保居民与老年人为突破口,扩大科普宣教的受众人群,开拓多元化科普宣教路径,进行科普宣教的精准施策,从而提高居民健康素养,助力健康中国。 展开更多

目的 了解黑龙江省居民中医药健康文化知识普及情况对中医药健康生活方式的影响,为今后改善居民健康状况提供科学依据。方法 采用多阶段分层整群概率法抽取黑龙江2437名居民为调查对象,应用《2020年中国公民中医药健康文化素养调查问卷... 目的 了解黑龙江省居民中医药健康文化知识普及情况对中医药健康生活方式的影响,为今后改善居民健康状况提供科学依据。方法 采用多阶段分层整群概率法抽取黑龙江2437名居民为调查对象,应用《2020年中国公民中医药健康文化素养调查问卷》进行入户调查。应用χ^(2)检验,Spearman相关和Amos路径进行数据分析。结果 黑龙江省居民中医药健康文化知识普及率为93.5%、阅读率为92.3%、信任率为32.2%、行动率为13.2%,中医药健康生活方式水平为21.4%。城市居民的信任率(55.0%)和行动率(25.3%)高于农村(17.7%和5.4%);男性的信任率(35.7%)和行动率(17.7%)均高于女性(28.3%和8.3%);15~24年龄组的普及率、阅读率最高(均为97.1%),45~54年龄组的信任率(35.9%)和行动率(15.7%)最高;文化程度越高,居民的普及率、阅读率、信任率、行动率越高;职业方面,非农民在信任和行动等方面都高于农民;以上差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05)。路径分析显示,中医药健康文化知识普及、信任、行动对健康生活方式存在正向作用(β=0.051、0.194、0.170)。中医药健康文化知识的普及对中医健康生活方式的总效应为0.262,其中直接效应为0.051,通过其他路径产生的间接效应为0.211。结论 黑龙江省居民中医药健康生活方式水平较低,中医药健康文化知识普及对其有影响,应采取更有效的方式把中医药健康知识转化成实际行动以提高居民对中医药的信任。 展开更多

文艺大众化的主要问题和基本观点,大致有六个方面:文艺发展的方向、文艺服务的对象、文艺创作的主体、文艺的内容与形式、文艺的语言、对五四新文化的评价。文艺大众化的理论与实践有其积极的意义,但也有其偏颇和局限之处。毛泽东没有... 文艺大众化的主要问题和基本观点,大致有六个方面:文艺发展的方向、文艺服务的对象、文艺创作的主体、文艺的内容与形式、文艺的语言、对五四新文化的评价。文艺大众化的理论与实践有其积极的意义,但也有其偏颇和局限之处。毛泽东没有延续文艺大众化运动的思路与方向,而是对文艺大众化的内容与问题进行了分解、总结与转型,对相关问题与争论提出了自己的观点和解决办法,将其提升到一个新的层次。《讲话》发表之后,文艺大众化进入“泛化”时期。20世纪50年代之后,繁荣社会主义文艺需要提高型的作品,文艺大众化逐渐失去活力。80年代之后,传统的大众文艺受到新起的大众文化挤压,开始走向式微。2014年,习近平发展毛泽东、邓小平等人的相关思想,适应人民日益增长的精神文化需求,提出“精品战略”。文艺大众化无论在实践还是理论上,都失去了现实性与合理性,整个文艺发展的方向由“大众化”转型为“精品战略”,便成为时代的必然要求与历史的必然趋向。 展开更多
