Traumatic spinal cord injury is potentially catastrophic and can lead to permanent disability or even death.China has the largest population of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury.Previous studies of traumatic ...Traumatic spinal cord injury is potentially catastrophic and can lead to permanent disability or even death.China has the largest population of patients with traumatic spinal cord injury.Previous studies of traumatic spinal cord injury in China have mostly been regional in scope;national-level studies have been rare.To the best of our knowledge,no national-level study of treatment status and economic burden has been performed.This retrospective study aimed to examine the epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and economic burden of traumatic spinal cord injury in China at the national level.We included 13,465 traumatic spinal cord injury patients who were injured between January 2013 and December 2018 and treated in 30 hospitals in 11 provinces/municipalities representing all geographical divisions of China.Patient epidemiological and clinical features,treatment status,and total and daily costs were recorded.Trends in the percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department and cost of care were assessed by annual percentage change using the Joinpoint Regression Program.The percentage of traumatic spinal cord injuries among all hospitalized patients and among patients hospitalized in the orthopedic department did not significantly change overall(annual percentage change,-0.5%and 2.1%,respectively).A total of 10,053(74.7%)patients underwent surgery.Only 2.8%of patients who underwent surgery did so within 24 hours of injury.A total of 2005(14.9%)patients were treated with high-dose(≥500 mg)methylprednisolone sodium succinate/methylprednisolone(MPSS/MP);615(4.6%)received it within 8 hours.The total cost for acute traumatic spinal cord injury decreased over the study period(-4.7%),while daily cost did not significantly change(1.0%increase).Our findings indicate that public health initiatives should aim at improving hospitals’ability to complete early surgery within 24 hours,which is associated with improved sensorimotor recovery,increasing the awareness rate of clinical guidelines related to high-dose MPSS/MP to reduce the use of the treatment with insufficient evidence.展开更多

The results showed that the warming in summer was 0.15~C/10a in Northeast China, which was higher than that on the global, Northern Hemisphere or Northeast Asia scale in the recent 50 years. The responses of NET to global warming were shown in 3 aspects mainly. Firstly, it became warm and the average temperature increased in summer; secondly, the temperature variability increased, which displayed the increase of climatic instability; thirdly, the disaster of low temperature decreased and high temperature damage increased obviously, but the disaster of low temperature still existed in some areas under global warming background, which would be worthy of notice further.展开更多

However, after the policy of reform and open-up was taken in China. the economic development speed and efficiency ofthis area have turned to be evidently lower than those of coastal area and the national average level as well, which is so-called 'Northeast Phenomenon' and 'Neo-Northeast Phenomenon'. In terms of those phenomena, this paper firstly reviews the spatial and temporal features of the regional evolution of this area so as to unveil the profound forming causes of 'Northeast Phenomena' and 'Neo-Northeast Phenomena'. A distinct aridity trend in China in last 100 years is presented by applying a linear fitting to both the climate records and the hydrological records, which is supported by evidence of environmental changes and seems...A distinct aridity trend in China in last 100 years is presented by applying a linear fitting to both the climate records and the hydrological records, which is supported by evidence of environmental changes and seems to be associated with a global warming trend during this period.The Mann Kendall Rank statistic test reveals a very interesting feature that the climate of China entered into a dry regime abruptly in about 1920's, which synchronized with the rapid warming of the global temperature at almost the same time.According to an analysis of the meridional profile of observed global zonal mean precipitation anomalies during the peak period of global wanning (1930-1940), the drought occurred in whole middle latitude zone (25°N-55°N) of the Northern Hemisphere, where the most part of China is located in. Although this pattern is in good agreement with the latitude distribution of the difference of zonal mean rates of precipitation between 4 × CO2 and 1 × CO2 simulated by climate model (Manabe and Wetherald, 1983), more studies are required to understand the linkage between the aridity trend in China and the greenhouse effect.The EOF analysis of the Northern Hemisphere sea level pressure for the season of June to August shows an abrupt change of the time coefficient of its first eigenvector from positive to negative in mid-1920's, indicating an enhancement of the subtropical high over Southeast Asia and the western Pacific after that time. This is an atmospheric circulation pattern that is favorable to the development of dry climate in China.展开更多
The thermal characteristics during the South China Sea (SCS) summer monsoon onset period near the Indo-China Peninsula are analyzed by using the South China Sea Monsoon Experiment (SCSMEX) reanalysis data from 1 May t...The thermal characteristics during the South China Sea (SCS) summer monsoon onset period near the Indo-China Peninsula are analyzed by using the South China Sea Monsoon Experiment (SCSMEX) reanalysis data from 1 May to 31 August 1998 and the NCEP/ NCAR pentad-mean reanalysis data from January 1980 to December 1995. The possible relationships between the anomaly of thermal features near the Indo-China Peninsula and the SCS monsoon onset are investigated, and the mechanism causing the SCS summer monsoon onset is also discussed. Results from the 1998 SCSMEX reanalysis data show that there exists a strong persistent surface sensible heating near the Indo-China Peninsula prior to the SCS monsoon onset, which has apparent low frequency oscillation features. This sensible healing leads lo a warmer center in the lower atmosphere near the Indo-China Peninsula and strong local horizontal temperature and geopotential height gradients which are favorable to strengthening the southwest wind over the Indo-China Peninsula. It is also found that stronger convergent winds at lower levels and stronger divergent winds at high levels appear, which provide a favorable configuration for the development of vertical motion, enhancement of precipitation, and onset of the SCS monsoon. These results can be verified by analysis of the multi-year mean data. Additionally, it is found that the temperature at 850 hPa increases more rapidly over the Indo-China Peninsula than the South China Sea prior to the SCS monsoon onset, which leads to a strengthening of the temperature difference between the Indo-China Peninsula and the South China Sea. Moreover, results from the analysis of the longitudinal temperature and geopotential height differences show that the eastern retreat of the subtropical high over the Indo-China Peninsula during the period of SCS monsoon onset is associated with the temperature increase over the Indo-China Peninsula and the eastern extension of low trough over the Bay of Bengal.展开更多
Newly acquired high-resolution shallow seismic profiles(7069 km in length) in the coastal and offshore areas of Zhejiang Province, East China Sea, China, have revealed eight marine hazardous geological features: shall...Newly acquired high-resolution shallow seismic profiles(7069 km in length) in the coastal and offshore areas of Zhejiang Province, East China Sea, China, have revealed eight marine hazardous geological features: shallow gas, sand ridges, erosion ditches, scarps, irregular bedrock features, underwater shoals, buried paleo-channels, and submarine deltas. Based on the seismic profiles, we have constructed a marine geological map of these hazardous features. Shallow gas accumulations are common and occur mainly in two separate nearshore regions that cover 4613 and 3382 km^2 respectively. There are also scattered shallow gas accumulations in the offshore area, typically accompanied by paleo-channels that occur mainly in the middle of the study area. Sand ridges, erosion ditches, scarps, and irregular bedrock features are found mainly in the northeast of the study area in association with each other. In the southeastern part of the study area, the sand ridges have a linear form and trend NW–SE, representing the western part of the linear sand ridges in the East China Sea. The maximum slope gradient is 1?, which suggests that this area is prone to landslides. These hazardous marine geological features are important to marine and engineering activities in this region.展开更多

This paper reports systematically geochemical features of some elements in water and sediment in crater and barrier lakes, and discusses the vertical changes, seasonal variation of some elemental concentrations in the lake water and the correlation and the moving coefficient of some elements in sediment. The result shows that the concentrations of Na, Rb, Cs, K, Be, W and F in the crater lake water are higher than those in the barrier lake water, the concentrations of Pb and La are higher and the concentrations of V, Co and Ba are lower in the crater lake sediment than in the barrier lake sediment. Moreover, the concentrations of elements in the lake water and sediment are effected strongly by the lithological characters of the catchment; on the other hand, the biogeochemical effect also acts as an important role.展开更多
Tsavorite green colored by Cr3+/V3+ has been traditionally found and mined in Tanzania, Kenya and Madagascar in the Neoproterozoic Mozambique metamorphic belt (NMMB), and recently be found in Sanjiang, Litang, Sichuan...Tsavorite green colored by Cr3+/V3+ has been traditionally found and mined in Tanzania, Kenya and Madagascar in the Neoproterozoic Mozambique metamorphic belt (NMMB), and recently be found in Sanjiang, Litang, Sichuan, China. The differences of the chemical formula, spectroscopic features, as well as the concentrations of the V2O3 and Cr2O3 in the tsavorite crystals collected from major international deposits and Sanjiang, China have been investigated using EPMA, XRF, UV-VIS spectrometers, FTIR, Raman scattering microscopy, DiamondView TM techniques. It was found that the chemical formulas of African tsavorite and Chinese tsavorite are Ca3(Al,V)2[SiO4]3 and Ca3(Al,Cr)2[SiO4]3, respectively, indicating that tsavorite is a solid solution between dominant grossular and minor goldmanite and uvarovite. Two broad bands centered at 430 nm and 605 nm were the main absorption features in the tsavorite samples, which attribute to the absorption of Cr3+ and/or V3+ ions in the lattice. The green coloration is caused by Cr3+ and/or V3+ ions resulting in the absorption of purple and red components of the visible light. Absorptions caused of Fe3+ and Fe2+ ions could add the bluish color component in some of tsavorite samples. The intensity of green color is proportional to the concentrations of V2O3 and Cr2O3. The basic gemological properties, such as refractive index in the investigated samples were presented, and the definition and chemical and spectroscopic properties of tsavorite are discussed.展开更多

BACKGROUND The features of gastric cancer based on the anatomic site remain unknown in northern China patients.AIM To analyze gastric cancer features and associated trends based on the anatomical site in northern Chin...BACKGROUND The features of gastric cancer based on the anatomic site remain unknown in northern China patients.AIM To analyze gastric cancer features and associated trends based on the anatomical site in northern China patients.METHODS This cross-sectional study used incident gastric cancer case data from 10 Peking University-affiliated hospitals(2014 to 2018).The clinical and prevailing local features were analyzed.RESULTS A total of 10709 patients were enrolled,including antral(42.97%),cardia(34.30%),and stomach body(18.41%)gastric cancer cases.Cancer in the cardia had the highest male:female ratio,proportion of elderly patients,and patients with complications,including hypertension,diabetes,cerebrovascular,and coronary diseases(P<0.001).gastric cancer involving the antrum showed the lowest proportion of patients from rural areas and accounted for the highest hospitalization rate and cost(each P<0.001).The proportion of patients with cancer involving the cardia increased with an increase in the number of gastroesophageal reflux disease cases during the same period(P<0.001).Multivariate analysis revealed that tumor location in the cardia increased the risk of inhospital mortality(P=0.046).Anatomical subsite was not linked to postoperative complications.CONCLUSION The features of gastric cancer based on the anatomical site differ between northern China and other regions,both globally and within the country.Social factors may account for these differences and should affect policy-making and clinical practice.展开更多

Tectonically located on the eastern margin of the northern Tibet geodepression. and nearly 500 km of the Himalayan Yarlung Zangbo plate subduction zone of nearly E-W trend. it is a relatively typical intracontinental rejuvenated platform-type porphyry copper belt. Ore-bearing porphyry masses in the belt mainly represented by monzogranite-porphyry occurring as stocks in variegated sandshale of the lower Upper Triassic Jiapila Fromation and its overlying and underlying copper-bearing strata. They are characterized by enrichment in K. CI and LREE. abundant fluid inclusions and a distinct porphyroblastic texture. The oxygen. hydrogen. strotium. lead and sulfur isotopic values of the rock show the feature of crust-mantle mixing.The Orebodies are plpe-shaped stratoid; the mineralization is dominated by Cu and Mo, accompanied by Fe. Co. Au. Ag. Bi. W. Pb. Zn. and Pt-group elements. Alteration is strong. marked mainly by potassic alteration, silicification. skarnization and propylitization. The formation of this type of deposit largely progressed through two stages. The first stage was the stage of formation of Cu-bearing source beds. It occurred in the Triassic. when a transgressive copper-bearing formation was deposited on the western margin of the Qamdo Bay. which was represented by intermediate-acid volcanic rocks and variegated sandshale in the lower part. dolomitic carbonate rocks in the middle and black carbonaceous sandshale in the upper part. In the second stage. composite porphyry copper deposits were formed. This stage took place in the Paleogene. when this district was in a stage of platform rejuvenation. forming a series of NNW-trending deep faults. so that Na, K. Cl. H2O and CO2-rich hydrothermal fluids from the depths were injected into the upper crust and replaced and melted copper-bearing sialic rocks of the upper crust. e. g. the Triassic copper-bearing rock series in the Yulong area. to form porphyroblastic cooper-bearing intermediate-acid porphyry.展开更多

On the basis of thermodynamic calculations, the stable fields of sphalerite from different mineralization stages were determined and are shown in logfs_2-logfo_2 diagrams; furthermore. the physico-chemical conditions of mineralization and the properties of mineralization solutions are discussed so that reliability of the genetic information provided by the spectroscopy of sphalerite may also be verified. It is suggested that the temperature and pH value of the mineralization system decrease, and so do the fugacities of O_2, S_2, H_2. and H_2S and the activities of HS^- and SO_4^(2-) from the early to late stages of minerahzation.展开更多

文摘The thermal characteristics during the South China Sea (SCS) summer monsoon onset period near the Indo-China Peninsula are analyzed by using the South China Sea Monsoon Experiment (SCSMEX) reanalysis data from 1 May to 31 August 1998 and the NCEP/ NCAR pentad-mean reanalysis data from January 1980 to December 1995. The possible relationships between the anomaly of thermal features near the Indo-China Peninsula and the SCS monsoon onset are investigated, and the mechanism causing the SCS summer monsoon onset is also discussed. Results from the 1998 SCSMEX reanalysis data show that there exists a strong persistent surface sensible heating near the Indo-China Peninsula prior to the SCS monsoon onset, which has apparent low frequency oscillation features. This sensible healing leads lo a warmer center in the lower atmosphere near the Indo-China Peninsula and strong local horizontal temperature and geopotential height gradients which are favorable to strengthening the southwest wind over the Indo-China Peninsula. It is also found that stronger convergent winds at lower levels and stronger divergent winds at high levels appear, which provide a favorable configuration for the development of vertical motion, enhancement of precipitation, and onset of the SCS monsoon. These results can be verified by analysis of the multi-year mean data. Additionally, it is found that the temperature at 850 hPa increases more rapidly over the Indo-China Peninsula than the South China Sea prior to the SCS monsoon onset, which leads to a strengthening of the temperature difference between the Indo-China Peninsula and the South China Sea. Moreover, results from the analysis of the longitudinal temperature and geopotential height differences show that the eastern retreat of the subtropical high over the Indo-China Peninsula during the period of SCS monsoon onset is associated with the temperature increase over the Indo-China Peninsula and the eastern extension of low trough over the Bay of Bengal.

文摘Newly acquired high-resolution shallow seismic profiles(7069 km in length) in the coastal and offshore areas of Zhejiang Province, East China Sea, China, have revealed eight marine hazardous geological features: shallow gas, sand ridges, erosion ditches, scarps, irregular bedrock features, underwater shoals, buried paleo-channels, and submarine deltas. Based on the seismic profiles, we have constructed a marine geological map of these hazardous features. Shallow gas accumulations are common and occur mainly in two separate nearshore regions that cover 4613 and 3382 km^2 respectively. There are also scattered shallow gas accumulations in the offshore area, typically accompanied by paleo-channels that occur mainly in the middle of the study area. Sand ridges, erosion ditches, scarps, and irregular bedrock features are found mainly in the northeast of the study area in association with each other. In the southeastern part of the study area, the sand ridges have a linear form and trend NW–SE, representing the western part of the linear sand ridges in the East China Sea. The maximum slope gradient is 1?, which suggests that this area is prone to landslides. These hazardous marine geological features are important to marine and engineering activities in this region.
文摘There are many crater and barrier lakes formed by volcanic activity in northeast of China. These lakes are very rich in fresh water resource. This paper reports systematically geochemical features of some elements in water and sediment in crater and barrier lakes, and discusses the vertical changes, seasonal variation of some elemental concentrations in the lake water and the correlation and the moving coefficient of some elements in sediment. The result shows that the concentrations of Na, Rb, Cs, K, Be, W and F in the crater lake water are higher than those in the barrier lake water, the concentrations of Pb and La are higher and the concentrations of V, Co and Ba are lower in the crater lake sediment than in the barrier lake sediment. Moreover, the concentrations of elements in the lake water and sediment are effected strongly by the lithological characters of the catchment; on the other hand, the biogeochemical effect also acts as an important role.
文摘Tsavorite green colored by Cr3+/V3+ has been traditionally found and mined in Tanzania, Kenya and Madagascar in the Neoproterozoic Mozambique metamorphic belt (NMMB), and recently be found in Sanjiang, Litang, Sichuan, China. The differences of the chemical formula, spectroscopic features, as well as the concentrations of the V2O3 and Cr2O3 in the tsavorite crystals collected from major international deposits and Sanjiang, China have been investigated using EPMA, XRF, UV-VIS spectrometers, FTIR, Raman scattering microscopy, DiamondView TM techniques. It was found that the chemical formulas of African tsavorite and Chinese tsavorite are Ca3(Al,V)2[SiO4]3 and Ca3(Al,Cr)2[SiO4]3, respectively, indicating that tsavorite is a solid solution between dominant grossular and minor goldmanite and uvarovite. Two broad bands centered at 430 nm and 605 nm were the main absorption features in the tsavorite samples, which attribute to the absorption of Cr3+ and/or V3+ ions in the lattice. The green coloration is caused by Cr3+ and/or V3+ ions resulting in the absorption of purple and red components of the visible light. Absorptions caused of Fe3+ and Fe2+ ions could add the bluish color component in some of tsavorite samples. The intensity of green color is proportional to the concentrations of V2O3 and Cr2O3. The basic gemological properties, such as refractive index in the investigated samples were presented, and the definition and chemical and spectroscopic properties of tsavorite are discussed.

文摘According to the urban and rural income levels and the national poverty line,peasant households are classified into poor households,middle-income households and wealthy households.Based on the investigation data of 259 peasant households in three villages of Hebei Province,the features of family structure,economy,ideology and communication of peasant households with different income levels in current status are analyzed.The result shows that there are great differences in family structure,ideology,economy and communication of peasant households with different income levels.The low-income households are featured by unreasonable family structure,heavy burden,conservative behavior and blocking information.While the middle and high income households are good at communicating and willing to take risk and armed with high skills.Based on this,relevant suggestions are put forward to promote the development of peasant households,such as optimizing family structure,cultivating the capacity of the core numbers of the family,guiding households to choose a suitable development path,encouraging farmers to work out,ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of migrant workers,flourishing rural culture,and setting up good platform for the communication of households.

Their geological features, ore-forming conditions and regularities are discussed. A geologic-geochemical metallogenic model for laterite gold deposits has been established.

文摘BACKGROUND The features of gastric cancer based on the anatomic site remain unknown in northern China patients.AIM To analyze gastric cancer features and associated trends based on the anatomical site in northern China patients.METHODS This cross-sectional study used incident gastric cancer case data from 10 Peking University-affiliated hospitals(2014 to 2018).The clinical and prevailing local features were analyzed.RESULTS A total of 10709 patients were enrolled,including antral(42.97%),cardia(34.30%),and stomach body(18.41%)gastric cancer cases.Cancer in the cardia had the highest male:female ratio,proportion of elderly patients,and patients with complications,including hypertension,diabetes,cerebrovascular,and coronary diseases(P<0.001).gastric cancer involving the antrum showed the lowest proportion of patients from rural areas and accounted for the highest hospitalization rate and cost(each P<0.001).The proportion of patients with cancer involving the cardia increased with an increase in the number of gastroesophageal reflux disease cases during the same period(P<0.001).Multivariate analysis revealed that tumor location in the cardia increased the risk of inhospital mortality(P=0.046).Anatomical subsite was not linked to postoperative complications.CONCLUSION The features of gastric cancer based on the anatomical site differ between northern China and other regions,both globally and within the country.Social factors may account for these differences and should affect policy-making and clinical practice.

文摘Extending in a NNW-SSE direction. the Yulong porphyry copper belt is the largest and richest porphyry copper belt in China, originating in the Paleogene. Tectonically located on the eastern margin of the northern Tibet geodepression. and nearly 500 km of the Himalayan Yarlung Zangbo plate subduction zone of nearly E-W trend. it is a relatively typical intracontinental rejuvenated platform-type porphyry copper belt. Ore-bearing porphyry masses in the belt mainly represented by monzogranite-porphyry occurring as stocks in variegated sandshale of the lower Upper Triassic Jiapila Fromation and its overlying and underlying copper-bearing strata. They are characterized by enrichment in K. CI and LREE. abundant fluid inclusions and a distinct porphyroblastic texture. The oxygen. hydrogen. strotium. lead and sulfur isotopic values of the rock show the feature of crust-mantle mixing.The Orebodies are plpe-shaped stratoid; the mineralization is dominated by Cu and Mo, accompanied by Fe. Co. Au. Ag. Bi. W. Pb. Zn. and Pt-group elements. Alteration is strong. marked mainly by potassic alteration, silicification. skarnization and propylitization. The formation of this type of deposit largely progressed through two stages. The first stage was the stage of formation of Cu-bearing source beds. It occurred in the Triassic. when a transgressive copper-bearing formation was deposited on the western margin of the Qamdo Bay. which was represented by intermediate-acid volcanic rocks and variegated sandshale in the lower part. dolomitic carbonate rocks in the middle and black carbonaceous sandshale in the upper part. In the second stage. composite porphyry copper deposits were formed. This stage took place in the Paleogene. when this district was in a stage of platform rejuvenation. forming a series of NNW-trending deep faults. so that Na, K. Cl. H2O and CO2-rich hydrothermal fluids from the depths were injected into the upper crust and replaced and melted copper-bearing sialic rocks of the upper crust. e. g. the Triassic copper-bearing rock series in the Yulong area. to form porphyroblastic cooper-bearing intermediate-acid porphyry.
文摘Electron paramagnetic resonance spectra, absorption spectra, cathodoluminescence spectra and infrared spectra of sphalerite from the Lechang remoulded sedimentary lead-zinc deposit have been studied so as to provide microscopic evidence for the formation conditions and mineralization stages of the deposit as well as the geochemical processes of mineralization. On the basis of thermodynamic calculations, the stable fields of sphalerite from different mineralization stages were determined and are shown in logfs_2-logfo_2 diagrams; furthermore. the physico-chemical conditions of mineralization and the properties of mineralization solutions are discussed so that reliability of the genetic information provided by the spectroscopy of sphalerite may also be verified. It is suggested that the temperature and pH value of the mineralization system decrease, and so do the fugacities of O_2, S_2, H_2. and H_2S and the activities of HS^- and SO_4^(2-) from the early to late stages of minerahzation.
