Rule of prescribing traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of pneumoconiosis basedon association rules and k-means clustering algorithm

Objective:To analyze the rule of prescribing traditional Chinese medicine for treating pneumoconiosis,so as to provide reference for differential diagnosis and treatment of pneumoconiosis as well as for the development of new drugs for treatingthe disease.Methods:We searched China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database and VIP Chinese PublicationDatabase to retrieve relevant literatures which were then screened according to the enrollment criteria to establish a prescriptiondatabase of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of pneumoconiosis.The inheritance calculation platform of traditionalChinese medicine was used to analyze the prescribing rule of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of pneumoconiosisbased on association rules,k-means clustering algorithm and regression model analysis.Results:A total of 131 related literature were preliminarily selected,from which 97 prescriptions of traditional Chinese medicine with a total of 195 herbs were included.The most frequently prescribed herbs included Radix astragali,Platycodon grandiflorum,Pinellia ternata,licorice,Codonopsispilosula,Salvia miltiorrhiza,bitter almond etc.A total of 14 association rules,13 high-frequency herb pairs were found and 5groups of formulas were revealed by cluster analysis.Conclusion:The prescriptions for the treatment of pneumoconiosis are mainly composed of herbs for tonifying deficiency,resolving phlegm,relieving cough and asthma,activating blood circulation and removingblood stasis,which are supplemented with herbs for clearing heat,relieving appearance,regulating qi,promoting waterand permeating dampness,etc.,The prescribing rules reflect the basic pathological characteristics of lung deficiency and collateral arthralgia in pneumoconiosis,which provides some ideas for the clinical differentiation and treatment of pneumoconiosis in traditionalChinese medicine.It also provides reference for the research and development of new treatment methods.

Prediction of the mechanism of prostate prescription Ⅰ in the treatment of chronic prostatitis based on integrative pharmacology of traditional Chinese medicine

Objective:To investigate potential mechanism of Prostate prescriptionⅠin the treatment of chronic prostatitis based on integrated pharmacology.Methods:with the help of TCMIP,the effective compounds of Prostate prescriptionⅠwere screened,and the potential target database of Prostate prescriptionⅠwas established by using the target prediction function of TCMIP.Based on the Human Phenotype Ontology database and protein interaction network(PPI)database,the disease target of CP was identified and the target interaction network was constructed;Through the GO function analysis and KEGG pathway enrichment analysis of the candidate targets,combined with Chinese and foreign literature studies to predict the potential Signaling pathway of Prostate prescriptionⅠin the treatment of CP.Results:79 effective compounds of Prostate prescriptionⅠexerted its effect on 33 targets through 11 pathways.Conclusion:Clinical efficacy of Prostate prescriptionⅠon CP may be reflected in antiinflammation and anti-tumor,cell metabolism,immune regulation,neuroregulation and so on.

Hanzix and Chinese Open System Platform

International use of the UNIX system in recent years provokes a need to expand its functionality. Extensions are needed to process data in various languages as the market requirement dictate[1,2]. With the advent of open systems and interfaces, the method of internationalization (I18N) has become standardized. Hanzix Association was founded by the fortitute of Software, The Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISAS, Beijing), Institute of Information Industry (III, Taipei) and Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK, Hong Kong), and its aim is to promote an open system standard for Chinese character (Hanzi) processing. This paper presents Hanzix, an open system environment to support Hanzi processing, including enhancemed recommended for Hanzi API,input method mechedsm, codeset conversion and armuncement, and reviews the current work.

Medication patterns of ancient Chinese medicinal prescriptions fordiabetic retinopathy

Objective:To mine the medication patterns of ancient prescriptions for diabetic retinopathy(DR)from databases of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)ancient books,and provide evidence for clinical practice and scientific research of TCM treatment for DR.Methods:The traditional library retrieval and modern data retrieval technology were combined to collect the ancient prescriptions in these databases,including the library ofHunan University ofChinese Medicine,Chinese Medical Dictionary,Duxiu,and Chaoxing Digital Library.And the TCM inheritance auxiliary platform(V3.0)was used for data mining,mainly including drug frequency analysis,medicinal property and meridian tropism analysis,efficacy analysis,correlation analysis,complex network analysis,and cluster analysis.Results:A total of 271 ancient prescriptions for the treatment of DR were collected,involving 296 drugs.The total medication frequency was 2,727.Most of them were cold and sweet drugs.The meridians primarily targeted were the liver,kidney,and spleen.The main effects of drugs were supplementing deficiency,clearing heat,releasing the exterior,inducing urination to drain dampness,pacifying liver and extinguishing wind,and circulating blood and transforming stasis.Saposhnikovia divaricata was the most frequently Chinese herbal medicine for DR in TCM ancient books.Saposhnikovia divaricata and ligusticum wallichi,saposhnikovia divaricata and notopterygium root,angelica sinensis and ligusticum wallichii were common herbal pairs.Saposhnikovia divaricata,ginseng,plantain seed,angelica sinensis,prepared rehmannia root and cassia seed constituted the core formula with the highest frequency.Conclusion:The core prescriptions for treating DR are mainly crafted from Dihuang pill,Ruiren powder,Siwu decoction,and Zhujing pill.Saposhnikovia divaricata is an important meridian-guiding medicine to open Xuanfu for DR.In clinical practice,the prescriptions should be modified according to the evolution of pathogenesis.

Administration Rule of Hyperlipidemic Acute Pancreatitis Based on Data Mining

Objective:To excavate the medical pattern of hyperlipidemic acute pancreatitis based on Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assistant Platform software,hope to offer ideas for the treatment of the disease.Methods:Inpatient cases admitted to the Department of Gastroenterology of Shenzhen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for HLAP from September 2013 to June 2020 were collected,information on evidence patterns and formulations was extracted,an Excel database was established and professional terms were standardized,and data mining methods such as association rules and entropy clustering of complex systems were used to analyze medical patterns.Results:The main symbols of HLAP include abdominal pain,abdominal distinction,vomiting,fever,etc.The common used drags include Immature Orange Fruit,Baical Skullcap Root,Rhubarb and Chinese Thorowax Root,etc.The main drug pairs based on association rule analysis are"Baical Skullcap Root,Immature Orange Fruit","Rhubarb,Immature Orange Fruit","Baical Skullcap Root,Rhubarb,Immature Orange Fruit",etc,and 14 drug core combinations and 7 new formulations were extracted.Conclusion:The main synthesis of HLAP are solid-heat knots in the internal organs and dam-heat in the liver and gallbladder,and the formula is based on Da-chai-hu Decoction,the clinical treatment is based on attacking stagnation,activating blood circulation and removing dampness,which can offer reference for the clinical treatment of the disease.

Mining the rules of acupoint selection and manipulation scheme of massage in reducing or substituting drug treatment of simple obesity based on association rules and entropy cluster analysis

Based on the data mining of clinical literature,we analyzed the characteristics of Acupoint Selection and manipulation in the clinical treatment of“simple obesity”,in order to optimize the compatibility of clinical acupoints,simplify the manipulation,and summarize the core prescription of Massage in the treatment of simple obesity.Methods:First we search and screen the clinical literature of Chinese Massage therapy for“simple obesity”by scholars at home and abroad.Then we analyze the Acupoint Selection and manipulation rules of Chinese Massage therapy for“simple obesity”by using data mining technology and traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance assistant system.Finally we obtain the optimal new prescription based on complex system entropy clustering and unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering analysis.Results:Fifty-seven prescriptions meeting the inclusion criteria were selected,including TIANSHU(ST25)(36),ZHONGWAN(RN12)(32),GUANYUAN(RN4)(30),ZUSANLI(ST36)(27),QIHAI(RN6)(23),“Stomach Meridians”(10),“Spleen Meridians”(8),Renmai(7),Abdomen(36),Umbilicus(8),Pressing(33),Holding(27),Pressing(26),and get 4 core Prescriptions like ST25-RN12-Renmai-Stomach Meridians-Abdominal Rub-Rubbing-Pushing thumb-Rubbing-Palm Pushing-Thumb Point Acupuncture-Palm Vibration and 4 new prescription of Massage manipulation for the treatment of simple obesity.Conclusion:The results of clinical diagnosis and treatment data are mined and analyzed by traditional Chinese medicine inheritance assistant system.The acupoint compatibility,manipulation rules and core prescriptions obtained can provide statistical basis and references for clinical Massage manipulation in the treatment of simple obesity.
