On the Performance of Blind Chip Rate Estimation in Multi-Rate CDMA Transmissions Using Multi-Rate Sampling in Slow Flat Fading Channels

This paper considers blind chip rate estimation of DS-SS signals in multi-rate and multi-user DS-CDMA systems over channels having slow flat Rayleigh fading plus additive white Gaussian noise. Channel impulse response is estimated by a subspace method, and then the chip rate of each signal is estimated using zero crossing of estimated differential channel impulse response. For chip rate estimation of each user, an algorithm which uses weighted zero-crossing ratio is proposed. Maximum value of the weighted zero crossing ratio takes place in the Nyquist rate sampling frequency, which equals to the twice of the chip rate. Furthermore, bit time of each user is estimated using fluctuations of autocorrelation estimators. Since code length of each user can be obtained using bit time and chip time ratio. Fading channels reduce reliability factor of the proposed algo-rithm. To overcome this problem, a receiver with multiple antennas is proposed, and the reliability factor of the proposed algorithm is analyzed over both spatially correlated and independent fading channels. 展开更多

In digital signal pro... The ranging accuracy of a pseudo-noise ranging system is mainly decided by range jitter and time delay discrimination. Many factors can affect the ranging accuracy, one of which is the chip rate. In digital signal processing, the time delay discrimination and autocorrelation function of sampled ranging sequences of different chip rates are very different. An approximation simulation model is established according to an in-phase quadrature (I/Q) correlator which is used to evaluate the time delay. Simulation results of the range jitter and time delay discrimination show that the chip rate which provides a non-integer sample-to-chip rate ratio can achieve a higher ranging accuracy, and some test results validate the simulation model. In some design missions, the simulation results may help to select an optimum sample-to-chip rate ratio to satisfy the design requirement on the ranging accuracy. 展开更多

Methods: The HR was recorded in six conscious Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats. An implanted chip system was designed to regulate the HR by stimulating the right cervical vagus nerve according to the feedback of real time HR. Each rat was subjected to 30-min regulation and 30-min recovery. The change of HR during the regulation period was compared with the control. The ECG was recorded during the experiment for 24 h. Results: The ECG signals were successfully recorded during the experiment. The HR was significantly decreased during the period of regulation compared with control (-79.3 ± 34.5, P 〈 0.01, n = 6) and then recovered to normal after regulation. Conclusion: The described implanted chip system can regulate the HR to a designated set point. 展开更多

Therefore, their use cannot be stopped. These electronic gadgets emit electromagnetic radiations, which are believed to be hazardous to human health. World Health Organization/International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified radiofrequency electromagnetic fields as possibly carcinogenic to humans (Group B). The Enviro Chip developed by Synergy Environics, India, is a radiation harmonizing chip which when fixed on electronic gadgets at specific locations claims to reduce stress level by reducing the pulse rate of users which may also result in improvement of other health parameters. In this study, we have tested the ability of the Enviro Chip to reduce pulse rate of people who may have developed high pulse rate due to prolonged use of electronic gadgets. This was the double blind crossover study conducted in 205 healthy volunteers having an average pulse rate of above 82 per Minute at Max Healthcare India. The primary objective of the study was to evaluate and compare the change in pulse rate over 14 measurements with the use of both the Enviro Chip and a Dummy chip from average pulse rate at baseline without the Placebo effect. The secondary objective was to evaluate the change in pulse rate gender-wise. Data analysis was done using Wilcoxon Sign Rank test. 酶解法脱糖提升黄骅冬枣脆片贮存稳定性的研究

黄骅冬枣糖分含量高,带给人们美味的同时也使黄骅冬枣脆片贮存期间易吸湿,出现黄骅冬枣脆片品质软化现象,明显的影响了黄骅冬枣脆片的口感。该文利用葡萄糖氧化酶作用对冬枣脆片进行部分脱糖处理,通过正交优化试验方法研究了酶解时间、... 黄骅冬枣糖分含量高,带给人们美味的同时也使黄骅冬枣脆片贮存期间易吸湿,出现黄骅冬枣脆片品质软化现象,明显的影响了黄骅冬枣脆片的口感。该文利用葡萄糖氧化酶作用对冬枣脆片进行部分脱糖处理,通过正交优化试验方法研究了酶解时间、酶添加量、酶解温度、料液比以及冬枣片厚度对冬枣脆片脱糖率及感官品质的影响,并通过等温吸附的方法研究了冬枣脆片的贮存稳定性。结果表明,在酶解时间为35 min,酶添加量0.15%(质量分数),酶解温度45℃,料液比1∶2(g∶mL),冬枣脆片厚度为10 mm条件下,冬枣脆片的脱糖率为43.30%,即还原糖含量为18.14%,与脱糖前冬枣脆片还原糖含量(32.00%)相比明显低,感官评分值为85.86分,综合评分值为98.98分。此条件下脱糖率最高,即还原糖含量降到最低,综合评分值达到了最高,冬枣脆片吸湿性能明显变弱,稳定性更好。该研究结果将为冬枣脆片相关产品的开发提供一定的理论及数据支持。 展开更多

为解决页岩气开采过程中产生的水基钻井岩屑资源化问题,以水基钻井岩屑作为研究对象,对其在水泥混凝土中的性能进行了研究。对不同水基钻井岩屑细集料取代率和不同水灰比的水泥混凝土分别进行了力学性能以及抗冻性试验研究。研究表明,... 为解决页岩气开采过程中产生的水基钻井岩屑资源化问题,以水基钻井岩屑作为研究对象,对其在水泥混凝土中的性能进行了研究。对不同水基钻井岩屑细集料取代率和不同水灰比的水泥混凝土分别进行了力学性能以及抗冻性试验研究。研究表明,在水基钻井岩屑取代部分细集料的不同水灰比水泥混凝土中,随着取代率的增加,其力学性能呈现不同的下降趋势。其中,抗压强度在取代率为15%时有回升,抗弯强度在取代率为5%~15%时有回升,劈裂抗拉强度呈现不断减小的趋势。水泥混凝土的抗冻性能随着水基钻井岩屑取代率的增加而加速劣化,水基钻井岩屑取代率应控制在15%以内。综合考虑,取代率为5%~15%的水基钻井岩屑可以考虑被应用在水泥混凝土中。 展开更多

目的通过微阵列基因芯片法检测肺泡灌洗液分枝杆菌,了解广西壮族自治区胸科医院肺部感染分枝杆菌患者不同年龄和性别的菌种分布特征。方法收集2018年1月至2022年12月广西壮族自治区胸科医院收治的肺部感染患者的肺泡灌洗液通过微阵列基... 目的通过微阵列基因芯片法检测肺泡灌洗液分枝杆菌,了解广西壮族自治区胸科医院肺部感染分枝杆菌患者不同年龄和性别的菌种分布特征。方法收集2018年1月至2022年12月广西壮族自治区胸科医院收治的肺部感染患者的肺泡灌洗液通过微阵列基因芯片法检测的结果,统计就诊患者的资料,分析其分枝杆菌的分布特征。结果949份灌洗液检测出分枝杆菌348例,检测率为36.7%(348/949),其中结核分枝杆菌复合群占83.6%(291/348),男性检出率为33.2%(203/611),女性检出率为26.0%(88/338),男女间检出率比较,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=5.29,P<0.05),非结核分枝杆菌(NTM)占16.4%(57/348),男性检出率为5.1%(31/611),女性检出率为7.7%(26/338),男女间检出率比较,差异无统计学意义(χ^(2)=2.64,P>0.05)。检测出的NTM中,胞内分枝杆菌占35.1%(20/57),龟/脓肿分枝杆菌占33.3%(19/57),鸟分枝杆菌占19.3%(11/57),戈登分枝杆菌占5.3%(3/57),蟾蜍分枝杆菌占5.3%(3/57),浅黄分枝杆菌占1.7%(1/57)。各年龄段的肺部感染患者中,结核分枝杆菌复合群的检出率比较,差异无统计学意义(χ^(2)=10.8,P>0.05),各年龄段的肺部感染患者中,NTM的检出率比较,差异有统计学意义(χ^(2)=18.7,P<0.01)。结论广西壮族自治区胸科院肺部感染分枝杆菌以结核分枝杆菌复合群为主,NTM主要的流行菌株为胞内分枝杆菌、龟/脓肿分枝杆菌和鸟分枝杆菌,结核分枝杆菌复合群的肺部感染患者不存在年龄差异,但存在性别差异,NTM的肺部感染患者不存在性别差异,但存在年龄差异,有老龄化趋势,NTM菌种具有多样化。 展开更多

Objective The study is to identify the carrier rate of common deafness mutation in Chinese pregnant women via detecting deafness gene mutations with gene chip. Methods The pregnant women in obstetric clinic without hearing impairment and hearing disorders family history were selected. The informed consent was signed. Peripheral blood was taken to extract genom- ic DNA. Application of genetic deafness gene chip for detecting 9 mutational hot spot of the most common 4 Chinese deafness genes, namely GJB2 (35delG, 176del16bp, 235delC, 299delAT), GJB3 (C538T) ,SLC26A4 ( IVS72A〉G, A2168G) and mito- chondrial DNA 12S rRNA (A1555G, C1494T) . Further genetic testing were provided to the spouses and newborns of the screened carriers. Results Peripheral blood of 430 pregnant women were detected, detection of deafness gene mutation carri- ers in 24 cases(4.2%), including 13 cases of the GJB2 heterozygous mutation, 3 cases of SLC26A4 heterozygous mutation, 1 cases of GJB3 heterozygous mutation, and 1 case of mitochondrial 12S rRNA mutation. 18 spouses and 17 newborns took further genetic tests, and 6 newborns inherited the mutation from their mother. Conclusion The common deafness genes muta- tion has a high carrier rate in pregnant women group, 235delC and IVS7-2A〉G heterozygous mutations are common. 展开更多

The transition from grinding to chipping can be observed in tunnel boring machine(TBM) penetration test data by plotting the penetration rate(distance/revolution) against the net cutter thrust(force per cutter) over the full range of penetration rates in the test.Correlating penetration test data to the geological and geomechanical characteristics of rock masses through which a penetration test is conducted provides the ability to reveal the efficiency of the chipping process in response to changing geological conditions.Penetration test data can also be used to identify stress-induced tunnel face instability.This research shows that the strength of the rock is an important parameter for controlling how much net cutter thrust is required to transition from grinding to chipping.It also shows that the geological characteristics of a rock will determine how efficient chipping occurs once it has begun.In particular,geological characteristics that lead to efficient fracture propagation,such as fabric and mica contents,will lead to efficient chipping.These findings will enable a better correlation between TBM performance and geological conditions for use in TBM design,as a basis for contractual payments where penetration rate dominates the excavation cycle and in further academic investigations into the TBM excavation process. 展开更多

P CD tool has many traits, such as high cutting efficiency, machining precision an d wearability. It is desired that it be used for machining coloured metals.The p aper present the study of prediction of chip breaking when PCD Tool cutting alum inum alloy with chip breaker. In the process of cutting, the method of chip brea king is up-curl-dominant chip. Therefore, based on the theory of chip breaking with chip breaker, used the cutting condition of chip breaking, this paper dedu ce the chip breaking mathematical model when cutting aluminum alloy, that is to say, the chip breaker parameters(Angle of chip break,chip groove width, bevel a ngle, the normal rake angle of chip groove, tool cutting edge angle)influence th e critical feed rate. The following conclusion can be made from theoretic analys is. The critical feed rate will decrease when the Angle of chip break and bevel angle and the normal rake angle of chip groove and tool cutting edge angle incre ase.
