In this paper, we analyzed the characteristic of a computer system and the methods of constructing a system, proposed a communication link management model supporting high availability for network applications, Which will greatly increase the high availability of network applications. Then we elaborated on heartbeat or service detect, fail-over, service take-over, switchback and error recovery process of the model. In the process of constructing the communication link, we implemented the link management and service take-over with high availability requirement, and discussed the state and the state transition of building the communication link between the hosts, depicted the message transfer and the start of timer. At Last, we applied the designed high availability system to a network billing system, and showed how the system was constructed and implemented, which perfectly satisfied the system requirements. American Christianity, however, is imbued in a modem---even pre-modern--paradigm. As a result, many contemporary religious leaders find it difficult to communicate with their postmodern constituents, as evidenced by declining attendance rates and religious affiliation. The present study explores this dilemma by offering potential implications for contemporary religious leaders to communicate more effectively with emerging/emergent generation(s). The author begins this exploration, first, by outlining the philosophical tenants of postmodemism: its epistemological, ontological, and axiological assumptions. Second, the author delineates several key characteristics of postmodern religious communication. Next, the author offers three practical implications for organizational leaders: (1) increased use of personal narrative, (2) removal of hierarchal boundary structures, and (3) increased awareness and appreciation for divergent perspectives. The author concludes this study with directions for future research.展开更多

The proposed algorithm adopts an improved distributed common radio resource management(DCRRM) model which can reduce the signaling overhead sufficiently. This scheme can be divided into two phases. In the first phase, candidate network set of each user is obtained according to the received signal strength(RSS). And the simple additive weighted(SAW) method is employed to determine the active network set. In the second phase, the utility optimization problem is formulated by linear combining of the video communication satisfaction model, cost model and energy efficiency model. And finding the optimal bandwidth allocation scheme with Lagrange multiplier method and Karush-Kuhn-Tucker(KKT) conditions. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm promotes the network load performances and guarantees that users obtain the best joint utility under current situation.展开更多
