The Scottish land issue becomes a perennial favourite in folk and in academic field. This paper uses historical analysis to understand the context and content of Scottish land reform. It finds that the land ownership is shifting from private to community body and the process is long but friendly. Furthermore, the land ownership change is a reflection of social development conception change from economic pursuit to sustainable democratic management.展开更多
