The results showed that generation rate, and H2O2 content were enhancedand malondialdehyde (MDA) content increased with the increase of Cd concentrations inthe growth medium. The antibacterial activity of copper is well-known from an ancient civilization, however, its biocidal mechanism has not been necessarily elucidated. Notwithstanding up to now, mainly 4 processes have been proposed. Among them, it is cleared that 4 kinds of reactive oxygen species (ROS): hydroxyl radical ·OH, hydrogen per oxide H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>, superoxide anion ·O<sup>-</sup>2</sub></sub>   and singlet oxygen <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub>, play an important role for contact-killing of bacteria, viruses and fungi. In this paper, generation of ROS on the surfaces of copper plates heated from room temperature to 673 K for 4.2 × 10<sup>2</sup> s in air, was investigated using the chemiluminescence. ROS have been evaluated by selecting the most suitable scavengers, such as 2-propanol for ·OH, sodium pyruvate for H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>, nitro blue tetrazolium for ·O<sup>-</sup>2</sub></sub>,  and sodium azide NaN<sub>3</sub> for <sup>1</sup>O<sub>2</sub>. At the same time the outermost surface of copper, on which thin film of cuprous oxide Cu<sub>2</sub>O was first formed and then cupric oxide CuO was laminated on Cu<sub>2</sub>O, was examined by thin-film XRD and TEM analysis to estimate the amounts and kinds of copper oxides. It was found that the most amounts of ROS were obtained for the 573 K-heated Cu plate and they were composed of ·OH, H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>, and ·O<sup>-</sup>2.</sub></sub>. 展开更多

HPLC was used for the component analysis of the polysaccharide. The results indicate that Physalis alkekengi L. polysaccharide(PAP) was composed of rhamnose, xylose, arabinose, galactose, and glucose. Free radicals scavenging activity of PAP was studied through 3 free radicals scavenging tests. PAP exhibited high scavenging effects on OH and DPPH radicals, and both the scavenging rates were about 80%. The scavenging rate of O2^- radical was about 22%. 展开更多

The authors have studied the effects of Pyrroioguinloine quinone (PQQ) on superoxide dismutase (SOD), Ascorbid acid(AsA) peroxidase (AsAPOD), glutathion (GSH) and electrolytic leakage of cotyledon in cucumber seedling under low temperature stress, meanwhile, 8-hydroquinone (8-HQ) and AsA (activeoxiygen scavengers) have been made use of in comparison with PQQ. The results indicate that the activities of SOD, AsAPOD and content of GSH can be increased by PQQ. The relative conductivity of cotyledon in cucumber seedling is decreased for PQQ possesses the ability of cleaning up free redical of oxygen. We came to the conclusion that PQQ can act as a kind of active oxygen scavenger and adjust the metabolism on free radical of oxygen to balance in plants and enhance resistance finally in plants. 展开更多

本研究用2 mmol/L水杨酸(salicylic acid,SA)溶液浸泡处理人工损伤的马铃薯块茎10 min,测定愈伤早期(损伤后12 h内)块茎伤口处的活性氧(reactive oxygen species,ROS)产生量及酶促清除系统相关酶活性,分析体外抗氧化能力以及细胞膜的完... 本研究用2 mmol/L水杨酸(salicylic acid,SA)溶液浸泡处理人工损伤的马铃薯块茎10 min,测定愈伤早期(损伤后12 h内)块茎伤口处的活性氧(reactive oxygen species,ROS)产生量及酶促清除系统相关酶活性,分析体外抗氧化能力以及细胞膜的完整性。结果表明,SA提高了愈伤早期块茎伤口处NADPH氧化酶和超氧化物歧化酶活性,促进了伤口处O_(2)^(―)·和H_(2)O_(2)的积累。SA总体提高了块茎伤口处过氧化物酶活性,但总体降低了过氧化氢酶活性。SA还提高了抗坏血酸过氧化物酶、脱氢抗坏血酸还原酶、单脱氢抗坏血酸还原酶和谷胱甘肽还原酶活性,以及抗坏血酸和还原型谷胱甘肽的水平。此外,SA提高了块茎伤口处的1,1-二苯基-2-三硝基苯肼自由基、2,2’-联氮双(3-乙基苯并噻唑啉-6-磺酸)阳离子自由基清除能力以及铁离子还原能力,降低了细胞膜渗透率和丙二醛含量。综上,SA可以通过调控马铃薯块茎愈伤早期伤口处的ROS稳态,提高体外抗氧化能力从而维持细胞膜的完整性,保证愈伤早期正常代谢的顺利进行。 展开更多

The anthocyanin pigment extracted from green-wheat-bran was studied to identify its antioxidant activity.The antioxidant activities of the pigment were evaluated by anti-lipid peroxidation,total antioxidant activity (TAA),superoxide anion radical scavenging activity (SARSA),active oxygen scavenging activity (AOSA),and DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2 picrylhydrazyl free radical) radical scavenging activity.The results showed that the pigment had higher antioxidant activity and TAA,SARSA,AOSA and DPPH.scavenging activities at a certain concentration than Vc (antiscorbutic vitamin,vitamin C),and the capacity increased with the increase of pigment concentration.Its TAA was 51.06 U mL-1,1.73 times of Vc,and SARSA 18 025.21 U mL-1,2.26% higher than Vc,and AOSA 3 776.31 U mL-1,1.24 times of Vc.As to the DPPH.scavenging activity of the pigment,there was a trend that higher concentration performed higher activity significantly improved with the company of Vc.The pigment showed significant antioxidant activities evaluated by different assays.Results will provide a better understanding on antioxidant activity of green wheat and allow the screening or breeding of green wheat varieties with higher antioxidant activity for food processing. 展开更多

Tea is the most widely consumed beverage throughout the world, after water and is considered as a good antioxidant nutrient against free radical reactions. Lemons are citrus fruits that are very common in many parts of the world and are well known for their health benefits. In this study, different assays were used to evaluate total phenolic content and antioxidant activities of green tea with and without lemon. Our results showed that green tea with lemon has higher phenolic content, stronger reducing power than green tea without lemon;and exhibits a significant inhibition of 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and hydrogen peroxide (H<sub>2</sub>O<sub>2</sub>). However, both samples exhibited high ferrous chelating activity with no significant difference among each other indicating a good antioxidant potential for both. This is a comparative study between green tea and green tea supplemented with lemon. The study contributes to a better understanding about how the addition of supplements like lemon might influence the antioxidant activity of tea. 展开更多

以6个不同磷吸收效率粳稻品种为材料,研究了缺磷条件下各种磷效率类型水稻品种的光合特性和细胞保护酶活性.结果表明:缺磷条件下,随着植株生长进程,不同磷效率水稻品种的光合速率(Pn)和可溶性蛋白质含量(pro)均不断下降;与丰磷处理相比... 以6个不同磷吸收效率粳稻品种为材料,研究了缺磷条件下各种磷效率类型水稻品种的光合特性和细胞保护酶活性.结果表明:缺磷条件下,随着植株生长进程,不同磷效率水稻品种的光合速率(Pn)和可溶性蛋白质含量(pro)均不断下降;与丰磷处理相比,缺磷处理各测定时期的Pn和pro均有所降低.不同磷效率水稻品种中,磷高效品种的Pn(10.06~10.83μmolCO2.m-2.s-1)、叶绿素含量(3.32~3.56mg.g-1FM)和pro(33.08~33.95mg.g-1FM)最高,磷中效品种次之,磷低效品种最低;不同品种的气孔导度(Gs)差异不明显.随着磷胁迫时间的延长,各品种的超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性降低,表现为磷高效品种>中效品种>低效品种;各品种丙二醛含量的变化趋势与SOD活性相反;而过氧化物酶(POD)活性的变化规律不明显.因此,缺磷条件下,较高的SOD活性和较低的细胞膜脂过氧化程度在改善磷高效品种的光合生理功能中具有重要作用. 展开更多

以当地辣椒(Capsicum annuum L.)主栽品种‘陇椒5号’和‘七寸红’幼苗为试材,分析了不同浓度的外源谷胱甘肽(GSH)对辣椒叶浸提液处理下辣椒幼苗叶片活性氧清除系统的影响,以探讨外源GSH对辣椒自毒作用的缓解效应及其机制。结果表明:辣... 以当地辣椒(Capsicum annuum L.)主栽品种‘陇椒5号’和‘七寸红’幼苗为试材,分析了不同浓度的外源谷胱甘肽(GSH)对辣椒叶浸提液处理下辣椒幼苗叶片活性氧清除系统的影响,以探讨外源GSH对辣椒自毒作用的缓解效应及其机制。结果表明:辣椒叶浸提液处理后,两品种辣椒幼苗叶片的SOD、POD、APX活性及AsA含量均显著下降,GR活性和GSH含量先升高后降低,MDA含量显著升高,且处理时间越长变化幅度越大。在叶浸提液自毒作用下,浓度为30和50 mg.L-1的GSH可明显提高叶片活性氧清除系统中SOD、POD、APX和GR的活性及GSH、AsA的含量,显著降低MDA的含量。研究发现,辣椒叶浸提液能对辣椒幼苗产生自毒作用,外源GSH能诱导辣椒体内保护酶系统和抗氧化物质活性增强,有效降低细胞的膜脂过氧化水平,对辣椒的自毒作用有一定的缓解效应;‘陇椒5号’和‘七寸红’分别在30和50 mg.L-1GSH时缓解效果最为明显。 展开更多
