Functional Confirmation Using a Medical X-Ray System of a Semiconductor Survey Meter

In recent years, semiconductor survey meters have been developed and are in increasing demand worldwide. This study determined if it is possible to use the X-ray system installed in each medical facility to calculate the time constant of a semiconductor survey meter and confirm the meter’s function. An additional filter was attached to the medical X-ray system to satisfy the standards of N-60 to N-120, more copper plates were added as needed, and the first and second half-value layers were calculated to enable comparisons of the facility’s X-ray system quality with the N-60 to N-120 quality values. Next, we used a medical X-ray system to measure the leakage dose and calculate the time constant of the survey meter. The functionality of the meter was then checked and compared with the energy characteristics of the meter. The experimental results showed that it was possible to use a medical X-ray system to reproduce the N-60 to N-120 radiation quality values and to calculate the time constant from the measured results, assuming actual leakage dosimetry for that radiation quality. We also found that the calibration factor was equivalent to that of the energy characteristics of the survey meter.

Traditional Use of Medicinal Plants Confirmed by the Baka in Southern and Eastern Cameroon

The limitations of biomedecine to provide effective solutions to certain pandemics has led many people to turn to alternative therapies. These palliative solutions, particularly phytomedecines, are much sought after for disease prevention and treatment. The Baka, a group of forest-dwelling people, hold knowledge on how wild plants can be effective in treating many illnesses. However, the greatest challenge for the identification of traditional medicines depends on the veracity of the information provided during ethnobotanic surveys by user populations. The present study describes forest plants used by the Baka and confirmed by them as being employed for traditional medicine. We carried out ethnobotanical surveys between 2019 and 2021 in 221 households within four districts of the Eastern and Southern Region of Cameroon. We used indices of significant use and performance applied to all mentioned species, alongside searches in the literature. The statistical tools used to distinguish the different groups/districts is Pearson’s X2 test. A total of 378 plant species were identified of 270 genera and 85 families. Ethnobotanical indices allowed to identify the most confirmed and efficient plants for several health problems. A pairwise comparison of these indices showed a significant correlation with a p-value < 2.2e-16 and a dissimilarity distance less than 0.5. Some plants selected are widely cited in other regions and/or countries for the same health problems. The presence of active molecules responsible for their biological activity was also proven, justifying their use in traditional medicine. This paper examines the potential to enhance the value of Cameroon’s pharmacopeia by integrating various ethnobotanical indices. It aims to discover new therapeutic molecules and develop improved traditional products from the diverse plant species documented. The findings indicate opportunities to advance both local and global healthcare solutions.

神奇的可重复“3+1”现象——双腔起搏器的A-cap^(TM)confirm功能

本文报告1例因窦性停搏安装圣犹达起搏器后,动态心电图上出现连续可重复的心电图片段,可见3跳房室顺序起搏后恢复1跳基础起搏间期,即“3+1”现象;持续一段时间后可见17跳基础频率起搏后外加1跳心房测试脉冲下的失夺获起搏,即“17+1”现象。上述两种现象在1 d中每隔8 h又可重复出现。既往报道圣犹达心室自动化阈值管理功能,即自动夺获(Auto Capture)功能的文章较多,较少有心房自动化阈值管理(A-cap^(TM)confirm)功能的相关报道,而本文主要介绍A-cap^(TM)confirm功能在动态心电图中的体现。

关于CONFIRMED研究中伐地那非与西地那非临床疗效的比较

CONFIRMED研究是完全遵循良好试验设计规范进行设计的一项研究。该研究是一项非劣性设计,主要目的是比较伐地那非与西地那非在治疗男性勃起功能障碍(ED)方面患者选择的倾向性,结果表明,总体倾向性伐地那非优于西地那非,尤其在总体满意度、性交满意度及伴侣关系满意度等方面显著优于西地那非。通过比较伐地那非与西地那非的结构,伐地那非的结构更具优势,其5型磷酸二酯酶(PDE5)选择性远远高于西地那非,这是伐地那非临床疗效优于西地那非的分子学基础。本研究提供了伐地那非优于西地那非的临床证据,进一步证实了伐地那非是对ED患者进行治疗的一线药物。

Problems in Rural Land Management Right Confirmation Pilots and the Countermeasures

The affirmation registration and certification of land contracted management right are the essential conditions for the effective promotion of land management right circulation and the development of agricultural moderate scale management. However, the following problems are found in the process of the pilot work： insufficient propaganda work, inconsistent recognition of affirmation registration work, low enthusiasm of grass-roots work; lack of unified regulations, each company working on their own; requiring large amount of manpower and resources for rural land contracted management rights, and severe shortage of national and municipal inputs; incomplete land ownership information and lack of marks between land plots, leading to resolving difficulty of the disputes; urgent need of strengthening subsequent work, untimely adjustment of related policies. Therefore, it needs to intensify propaganda, so that farmers can know the land right confirmation registration and certifi- cation, and recognize its importance; unify the introduction of job specification and results storage standard, making it convenient for the unified use of the results unified; set up special funds, and make experiments first in the areas with better economic conditions; establish arbitral institutions for land ownership disputes; earnestly make great effort to the supporting and subsequent work for right confirmation registration, and give full play to the role of land registration results.

Research on Rural Collective Land Ownership Confirmation Based on Unified Registration of Real Estate

Rural collective land ownership registration is a basic work to safeguard farmers＇ land rights and interests, and promote rural reform and development, which involves the vital interests of the peasants, and has great influence on the rural economic and social development. However, there are many problems in rural col- lective land ownership registration and certification, such as unclear rural land own- ership subject and nature; not unified understanding of registration, no high enthusi- asm of the grass-roots work; prominent registration policy contradictions, serious shortage of investment, which seriously affect the rural land ownership registration work. In order to solve these problems, some suggestions are put forward on pro- moting the rural land ownership registration work smoothly.

The Confirmation of the Neoproterozoic Langshan Group in Inner Mongolia and Its Significance

There is a large Mesoproterozoic rift at the northern margin of North China Craton （NCC）, and one of China＇s most important metallogenic belts, the Langshan-Zhaertai Shan-Bayan Obo mesoproterozoic metallogenic belt is just located in this rift. This metallogenic belt contains some large or ultra-large ore deposits, such as the Bayan Obo iron deposits and ultra-large rare earth deposits, and the large Dongshengmiao Cu-Pb-Zn sulphide deposits.

Determination of 8 Diuretics and Probenecid in Human Urine by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry: Confirmation Procedure

A fast and sensitive method for determination of 8 diuretics (acetazolamide, bendroflumethiazide, bumetanide, chlorthalidone, furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide, metolazone, triamterene) and masking agent (probenecid) in human urine using gas-chromatography with mass spectrometric detection is described. The extraction of the substances as function of the nature of organic solvent, mixing time and pH of aqueous phase was studied. The tandem mass spectrometry was used to increase selectivity of diuretics determination due to elimination of background interferences. Fragmentation reactions were studied for each compound and their collision energies were optimized to obtain the best selectivity. The results of method’s validation demonstrate its suitability in routine analysis for confirmation purposes.

The whole process confirmation management and its application in coal mine safe production

After analyzing the reasons for coal mine accidents and the current management methods, effective actions for the implementation of safety management were put forward by carrying out the whole process confirmation management. The ba- sic content and the five implementation steps were described, and the implementation method and the program of every step were introduced. Some rules for the implementation of the whole process confirmation management in coal mine safety pro- duction were explained, such as during the process of preproduction, before descent, descent, after descent, walking in the roadway, post-operation, shift, and hoisting after work. The results show that the guardians and the executors should both con- firm the implementation, which can improve the workers＇ attention and self-awareness to avoid errors in detail and reduce the ＂three violations＂ phenomenon. To ensure the effect of the whole process confirmation management, relevant departments should designate a person-in-charge in the specific work in all stages, make a work plan, and strengthen the internal evaluation.

Prevalence of infection and molecular confirmation by using ITS-2 region of Fasciola gigantica found in domestic cattle from Chiang Mai province,Thailand

Objective:To investigate the infection of Fasciola gigantka(F.gigantka)in domestic cattle from Chiang Mai province and molecular confirmation using ITS-2 region.Methods:The liver and gall bladder of Bubalus bubalis(B.bubalis)and Bos taurus(B.taunts)from slaughterhouses were examined adult worms and prevalence investigation.The species confirmation with phylogenetic analysis using ITS-2 sequences was performed by maximum likelihood and UPGMA methods.Results:The total prevalences of infection in B.bubalis and Bubalus taurus(B.taurus)were67.27%and 52.94%respectively.The respective prevalence in both B.bubalis and B.taurus were acquired from Doi-Saket,Muang,and Sanpatong districts,with 81.25%,62.50%and 60.00%for B.bubalis and 62.50%,50.00%and 47.06%for Bos taunts respectively.The species confirmation of F.gigantka and some related species by basing on maximum likelihood and UPGMA methods used,4 groups of trematodes were generated,first F.gigantka group including specimen of Chiang Mai,second 2 samples of F.hepatica,third group of 3 rumen flukes;Orthocoelium streptocoelium,F.elongatus and Paramphistomum epliclitum and fourth group of 3 minute intestinal flukes:Haplorchis taichui,Stellantchasmu falcatus.Haplorchoides sp.and liver fluke;Opisthorchis civerrini respectively.Conclusions:These results can be confirmed the Giant liver fluke which mainly caused fascioliasis in Chiang Mai was identified as F.gigantka and specimens were the same as those of F.gigantka recorded in olher different countries.Nucleotide sequence of ITS-2 region has been proven as effective diagnostic tool for the identification of F.gigantka.

Experimental confirmation of a new reversed butterfly-shaped attractor

This paper reports a new reverse butterfly-shaped chaotic attractor and its experimental confirmation. Some basic dynamical properties, and chaotic behaviours of this new reverse butterfly attractor are studied. Simulation results support brief theoretical derivations, Furthermore, the system is experimentally confirmed by a simple electronic circuit.

Problems and Recommendations for Confirmation of Land Right in Rural Areas

Land,the foundation of agriculture and farmers,is the most basic capital goods of agricultural production. Confirmation of land right in rural areas not only effectively protects the land contract management right of peasants and helps to realize the informatization management of land contract,but also lays a foundation for land circulation and scale management. In addition,it also promotes the realization of agricultural modernization. This paper analyzes the problems in the confirmation of land right and sets forth recommendations under the premise of realizing the importance of confirmation of land right.

Study on Construction of Database for Confirmation of Rural Homestead Right

Confirmation of homestead right is helpful for planning of rural construction land and comprehensive development of new socialist countryside construction. At present,China is carrying out confirmation of rural homestead right on a large scale. Theoretical analysis on construction of database for confirmation of rural homestead right is of great significance for promoting confirmation of rural homestead right. Using the Mapgis urban cadastral management system database,this paper studied the process of creating database for conformation of rural homestead right,and came up with recommendations for update and maintenance of the database.

Karl Popper＇s Critical Rationalism＂ Corroboration versus Confirmation＊

This paper reviews and adds to previous arguments for the thesis that Karl Popper was mistaken to have rejected hypothetico-deductive confirmation. By turning from the positive idea of verification to the negative idea of criticism, Popper believed that he had turned his back on induction. He believed he had ＂solved＂ the ＂problem of induction＂ by providing a non-inductive account of corroboration. Popper used the term ＂corroboration＂ rather than confirmation which he believed was too closely allied to the notion of the inductive or probabilistic support that a theory can receive from evidence. Wesley Salmon＇s （1967） ＂concept of confirming evidence＂ and Clark Glymour＇s （1980） ＂bootstrap conception of evidence for theory＂ both defended respectively the thesis that passed tests can be confirmed by evidence or warranted by the degree of probability. Using a sequence of symbols in logical form or analysis, I shall further defend the concept to hypothetico-deductive confirmation in order to show that the known weaknesses of Popper＇s critical rationalism are remediable, once the notion of evidence for theories is brought back into consideration.

Confirmation and Significance of Caledonian Metallogenic Epoch for Gold Deposits in South China

Caledonian gold deposits are widely distributed in South China. They are developed in both South China Caledonian fold belt and adjacent Proterozoic Jiangnan uplift. The host rocks are Proterozoic metamorphosed microclastic rocks in the Jiangnan uplift and Proterozoic and Cambrian strata, as well as Chengjiang and Caledonian igneous bodies in the South China fold belt. The distinct differences between the Caledonian and the most developed Yenshanian gold deposits in South China are reflected in age and host-rock type, relations to Yenshanian magmatic activities, element association, mineral assemblage and gold deposit type. The studies have proven that the Caledonian epoch is a principal metallogenic period of gold deposits in South China. This conclusion is of very important enlightening significance in exploration of Caledonian gold deposits in South China as well as in other Caledonian fold belts and adjacent uplifts in China.

RCDS:a right-confirmable data-sharing model based on symbol mapping coding and blockchain

The problem of data right confirmation is a long-term bottleneck in data sharing.Existing methods for confirming data rights lack credibility owing to poor supervision,and work only with specific data types because of their technical limitations.The emergence of blockchain is followed by some new data-sharing models that may provide improved data security.However,few of these models perform well enough in confirming data rights because the data access could not be fully under the control of the blockchain facility.In view of this,we propose a right-confirmable data-sharing model named RCDS that features symbol mapping coding(SMC)and blockchain.With SMC,each party encodes its digital identity into the byte sequence of the shared data by generating a unique symbol mapping table,whereby declaration of data rights can be content-independent for any type and any volume of data.With blockchain,all data-sharing participants jointly supervise the delivery and the access to shared data,so that granting of data rights can be openly verified.The evaluation results show that RCDS is effective and practical in data-sharing applications that are conscientious about data right confirmation.

生鲜电商平台消费者购菜意愿多元提升路径及适配组态研究

基于南昌市519份调查数据,运用技术接受模型3和期望确认理论模型,采用fsQCA方法对生鲜电商平台消费者购菜意愿进行组态分析,探讨消费者购菜意愿适配组态的要素构成条件及提升策略。结果表明:单一条件变量均不是生鲜电商平台消费者购菜意愿的必要条件,说明变量间可能存在替代作用;存在乐趣性与顾客认可型路径、适应性与情感导向型路径、体验感与顾客评价型路径、个性化与挑战导向型路径、影响力与便利导向型路径等5条产生高购菜意愿的路径;其中,高主观规范和高满意度作为核心条件存在于4条路径中,对生鲜电商平台消费者产生购菜意愿发挥着更普适的作用。基于此,建议整合多元路径,根据组态效应调整购菜意愿提升策略;确保产品质量,提升售后服务,重视满意度的普适性作用;建立良好口碑,发挥社交圈的积极作用,以实现平台发展的良性循环。
