Brain-evoked pot... Studies on brain-evoked potential and contingent negative variation (CNV) in mood disorder remain controversial. To date, no CNV difference between unipolar and bipolar depression has been reported. Brain-evoked potentials were measured in the present study to analyze CNV in three subtypes of mood disorder (mania, unipolar depression, and bipolar depression), and these results were compared with normal controls. In the mania group, CNV amplitude B was greater than in controls, and the depression group exhibited lower CNV amplitude B and smaller A-S'2 area, and prolonged post-imperative negative variation latency. The CNV comparison between unipolar and bipolar depression found that the prolonged post-imperative negative variation latency was only in unipolar depression. These results suggest that prolonged post-imperative negative variation latency is a characteristic of unipolar depression, and CNV amplitude change is a state characteristic of mood disorder patients. 展开更多

Objective: To investigate the variations of contingent negative variation (CNV) of petients with mental retardation. Methods: The CNV was recorded in 16 children with mental retardation (MR) and 14 healthly age-matched controls. And CNV retest was carried out in 11 children with MR after one yeat treatment of Piracetam. Results: Compared with the normal control, the CNV of MR group showed prolonged postimperative negative variation (PINV) duration (P<0.01) and total A-C duration (P < 0.01), decreased amplitude B (P<0.01 ), and reduced preimperative A-S2 area (P<0.01). A comparison of the CNV of MR group was made between before and after one year treatment of Piracetam and no significant difference was found. Conclusions:The significant CNV variations were found in children with MR and these abnormal changes presisted throughout the Piracetam treatment. 展开更多

目的观察皮质下缺血性血管性认知损害(subcortical ischemic vascular cognitive impairment,SIVCI)患者关联性负变(contingent negative variation,CNV)变化特征及其与计算机辅助测验-持续操作任务(continuous performance task,CPT)... 目的观察皮质下缺血性血管性认知损害(subcortical ischemic vascular cognitive impairment,SIVCI)患者关联性负变(contingent negative variation,CNV)变化特征及其与计算机辅助测验-持续操作任务(continuous performance task,CPT)的相关性,探求反映SIVCI早期注意损害的神经电生理指标,促进诊断水平的提高。方法应用意大利EB-Neuro事件相关电位工作站,对15例皮质下缺血性血管性痴呆(subcortical ischemic vascular dementia,SIVD)患者,30例皮质下缺血性血管性认知损害非痴呆型(subcortical ischemic vascular cognitive impairment no dementia,SIVCIND)患者和15名正常对照(normal control,NC)检测CNV命令信号前期待波(expectancy wave,EW)的潜伏期、波幅和面积。结果①与正常对照相比,SIVCI患者CNV波形欠规则;SIVCIND患者CNV EW波幅降低(9.98±4.10μV vs.16.13±2.75μV,P<0.05),平均面积减少(14848.10±3199.16μV·ms vs.20058.87±1025.95μV·ms(P<0.05),潜伏期差异无统计学意义(F(2,57)=1.90,P>0.05);SIVD患者较SIVCIND患者EW波幅进一步降低(6.25±1.52μV vs.9.98±4.10μV,P<0.05),平均面积进一步减少(8474.00±3511.94 vs.14848.10±3199.16μV·ms,P<0.05);②EW潜伏期与CPT反应时呈正相关(R=0.748,P<0.01),与CPT漏报率无相关性(R=0.22,P>0.05);EW波幅与CPT反应时呈负相关(R=-0.616,P<0.01),与CPT漏报率无相关性(R=-0.191,P>0.05);EW平均面积与CPT反应时呈负相关(R=-0.718,P<0.01);与CPT漏报率呈负相关(R=-0.829,P<0.01)。结论 SIVCI患者早期可能即存在注意保持等认知异常;CNV EW平均面积可能为一个较好反映持续注意损害的神经电生理指标。 展开更多

为研究视觉疲劳对车辆驾驶人注意保持能力的影响,用自编主观疲劳调查表和关联性负变(CNV)经典试验范式,对被试在观看高速公路视频前和观看视频30 min后进行重复测试,考察被试观看高速公路视频前后的行为差异和CNV中早期成分(iCNV)和晚... 为研究视觉疲劳对车辆驾驶人注意保持能力的影响,用自编主观疲劳调查表和关联性负变(CNV)经典试验范式,对被试在观看高速公路视频前和观看视频30 min后进行重复测试,考察被试观看高速公路视频前后的行为差异和CNV中早期成分(iCNV)和晚期成分(tCNV)的平均波幅差异。结果发现:被试观看高速公路视频后,主观疲劳调查表调查显示被试出现视觉疲劳状态;在CNV试验结果中,反应时延长,产生视觉疲劳;CNV以中央顶区为主,视觉疲劳后iCNV和tCNV成分波幅降低。这些结果表明,执行认知加工任务时,视觉疲劳会导致被试注意朝向能力下降、期待行为减弱,最终出现反应迟缓;CNV成分主要产生于额叶,幅值降低可能与额叶执行功能受损有关,iCNV和tCNV成分可以作为视觉疲劳的检测指标。 展开更多

列宁认为对立统一规律是辩证法的实质和核心,恩格斯认为"否定之否定"是事物发展全过程的核心。前者是就对立统一规律在整个辩证法理论体系中的地位而言的,后者是就事物发展全过程中的第二次否定、第三个阶段(即"否定之否... 列宁认为对立统一规律是辩证法的实质和核心,恩格斯认为"否定之否定"是事物发展全过程的核心。前者是就对立统一规律在整个辩证法理论体系中的地位而言的,后者是就事物发展全过程中的第二次否定、第三个阶段(即"否定之否定)"在否定之否定规律中的地位而言的。列宁的思想与恩格斯的思想是从不同角度、不同层次对辩证法理论体系中不同组成部分的地位和作用所做的判断,二者的作用是互相补充、而不是互相排斥的。不能用肯定和否定的不断交替代替否定之否定规律,因为肯定和否定的不断交替不能说明事物自己发展自己、自己完善自己的过程;对立统一规律和质量互变规律不能说明事物发展的周期性和全过程,不能说明发展是"在高级阶段重复低级阶段的某些特征、特性"、并且"仿佛是向旧东西的复归",只有否定之否定规律才能说明事物发展的这种特点;要从否定之否定规律的普遍性和特殊性的统一,说明掌握事物发展全过程的周期性应该坚持的正确方法。 展开更多

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of acute exercise on reaction time and response preparation during a Go/No Go Task in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods: Nineteen children with ADHD (aged between 8 and 12 years old) undertook a 30-min intervention that consisted of treadmill running or video-watching presented in a counterbalanced order on different days. A Go/No Go Task was administrated after exercise or video-watching. Results: The results indicated a shorter reaction time and smaller contingent negative variation (CNV) 2 amplitude following exercise relative to the video-watching. For event related potential (ERP) analyses, greater CNV l and CNV 2 amplitudes in response to No Go stimuli in com- parison to Go stimuli was observed in the video-watching session only. Conclusion: These findings suggest that acute exercise may benefit children with ADHD by developing appropriate response preparation, particularly in maintaining a stable motor preparatory set prior to performing the given task. 展开更多

BACKGROUND: Study results of event-refated potential in obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) remain controversial, potentially as a result of different instruments utilized and their differing technical characteristics. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the differences in several common event-related potentials, Le. contingent negative variations, P300, and mismatch negativity (MMN), in OCD patients, depression patients, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) patients, and healthy controls. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING: A case-control study was performed in the Department of Electrophysiology, Shanghai Mental Health Center from May 2002 to December 2005. PARTICIPANTS: A total of 38 OCD patients, 20 depression patients, and 18 GAD patients, who were diagnosed according to the criteria of Chinese Classification of Mental Disorders (Version 3), formulated by the Chinese Psychiatry Association, were selected from the Outpatient Department of Shanghai Mental Health Center. Patients with two or more the above diseases were excluded. In addition, 28 healthy people, gender and age matched, were selected as controls. METHODS: Contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN were recorded by a Nicolet Spirit Instrument. All electrodes were attached at Cz according to the Intemationa11020 system, with the mastoid leads as reference and Fpz as ground. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Amplitude and latency of contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN. RESULTS: The contingent negative variations, P300, and MMN were different (P 〈 0.01). OCD patients showed an increased MI amplitude compared with controls, depression, and GAD patients (P 〈 0.01). Target P300 amplitudes were significantly lower in OCD, depression, and GAD patients compared with controls (P 〈 0.01). Moreover, N2 latency and latency of MMN were prolonged in OCD and depression groups compared with controls (P 〈 0.05). CONCLUSION: Event-related potentials were different in depression, GAD, and OCD patients and healthy controls. In particular, OCD patients exhibited unique characteristics. 展开更多

To investigate the variations of contingent negative variations ( CNV), P300 and mismatch negativity (MMN) in depression and anxiety disorders. Methods CNV, P300 and MMN were recorded from 44 depressive patients using Nicolet Spirit Instrument, and were compared with that of 32 anxiety patients and 28 normal controls(NC). 21 of depressive patients and 18 of anxiety patients were followed up by 2.5 months with the same evoked potentials. Results 1. Compared with NC, all patients in acute episode showed decreased M1 of CNV amplitude, delayed P3 latency and decreased P3 amplitude of P300, and delayed MMN latency and decreased MMN amplitude ; 2. The follow-up study of evoked potentials revealed that abnormal P3 of P300 and MMN latencies were significant between depressed patients in remission status and NC group but not P3 of P300 and MMN amplitudes, and M1 of CNV and P3 of P300 amplitudes and P3 of P300 and MMN latencies are not significant between anxiety patients in remission and NC group. Conclusion Delayed P3 of P300 and MMN latencies in depression show state and trait markers, while those variations in anxiety correlate with clinical status of anxiety state. 展开更多

Forty healthy young subjects ... Auditory change detection studies have shown that a repetition effect occurs when the response-stimulus interval is less than 500 ms. However, this response repetition effect is variable. Forty healthy young subjects were asked to respond to target stimuli pertaining to event-related potentials as quickly and accurately as possible (10% target, inter-stimulus interval: 1500 ms). Reaction time (RT) for the targets was measured with electroencephalography. RT was found to be the fastest for the second instance of repeated targets and targets that appeared after 17 or more successive non-targets (p –0.9 μV baseline negative shift of the frontal scalpelectroencephalography100 ms before the upcoming stimulus, suggesting that SPN was observed after every target stimulus. The non-target stimuli immediately after target were accompanied by MMN. Therefore, we concluded that subjects prioritized instructions pertaining to quicker response than those pertaining to accuracy. That explains RTs of second instance of repeated target are one of the fastest and how mistakes occur for non-target immediately after target stimulus. Negative baseline shifts detected by electroencephalography in this variable task with target and non-target event-related potentials provide key elements in the understanding of auditory responses. 展开更多

Stimulus-preceding negativity (SPN), readiness potential (RP), and contingent negative variation (CNV) were recorded to verify the hypothesis that the CNV late wave is the sum of the RP and the SPN. SPN and RP were elicited using a time-estimation task, and the CNV was recorded using a warned reaction-time task. A “virtual CNV” was calculated by superimposing the SPN on the RP. Then the real and virtual CNVs were compared to evaluate the hypothesis. Although an amplitude difference between the real and virtual CNV late waves was observed at the frontal site, the amplitudes at the central and parietal sites were not different between the two. These results suggest that the CNV late wave and the SPN might have a common underlying physiological mechanism in the parietal area, and that these potentials might be related to attentional systems. 展开更多
