The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and China's Protection of the Right to Education of the Persons with Disabilities

The UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities effective in 2008 explicitly stipulates that Member States shall guarantee that people with disabilities enjoy the right to education free from discrimination and without prejudice to equal opportunities.The Chinese government made amendments to the Law of the People s Republic of China on the Protection of Persons with disabilities and the Regulation on the Education of the Persons with Disabilities and issued a series of rules on the Education of the Persons with Disabilities so as to actively implement the Convention. In recent years,the number and proportion of children with disabilities who receive education in China and the number of students with disabilities receiving high school and higher education have been on the rise annually.However, there is still a gap in the level of education on all stages between persons with disabilities and persons without, presenting a huge challenge for the achievement of the right to education of persons with disabilities. We should continue to actively fulfill the obligations prescribed by the Convention to protect the right to education, explore the construction of integrated education, support the maintenance system,strive to improve the quality of special education,allocate resources for the education of persons with disabilities, and emphasize the appraisal of the education of persons with disabilities.

Second National Convention on University Human Rights Education Held in Beijing

The Second China Convention on Human Rights Education in Universities was held on November 6-8 in Beijing. It was jointly sponsored by the Human Rights and Humanitarian Law Institute of the China University of Political Science and Law, the Norwegian Center for Human Rights at the University of Oslo, Norway, the Danish Institute for Human Rights and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at Lund University, Sweden. More than 90 researchers, scholars and human rights teachers of universities from China and other countries attended.

How Behaviorism Can Help Provide Insight into MOOCs in the Chinese Education Market

In recent years,online education has grown rapidly and expanded globally.As an undergraduate student,the author took part in massive open online courses(MOOCs)as an elective.While enjoying the convenience of high-tech distance education,the author also became aware of its shortcomings.For instance,when students are confused about a certain topic,they are unable to clarify with their instructors in real time since most of the time,recorded instructional videos are used.Students also tend to listen passively during lessons,indicating that they may not absorb information or“positively reinforce”what they know or have learned.When discussing the characteristics of MOOCs,the author hopes to demonstrate how online education may influence traditional teaching and serves as an excellent complement to conventional classrooms.

The Application of E-learning and Distance Learning Technologies to Crew Education and Training in the Russian Federation

The article examines the world experience of e-learning as well as distance education technologies within the education process organization on higher and post-higher education programs.There have been listed the results of the most popular e-learning platforms analysis.Furthermore,there have been looked through the core legislative background of the development of the mentioned technologies in Russia and worldwide among the universities,specialized in seafarers training.There have been also drawn up the points of the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping(Admiral Makarov SUMIS)design of the distance education system LMS"FARWATER"in compliance with the International Convention on Standards of Training,Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers(STCW Convention).The practical application of distance education system to the advanced professional training has been discussed in the article.

On the Maritime PE Reform under the Amended STCW Convention

In order to improve the maritime PE quality and improve the physical qualifications of the maritime undergraduates to enable them to provide better service for the shipping industry, this paper makes studies on the maritime PE reform and development under the new requirements of STCW Convention and probes into the difference from other courses. On basis of this, the paper puts forth the necessity and development orientation of the reform in the aspects of objectives, models, contents and evaluation methods.

糖尿病临床护理过程中健康教育的应用效果评估分析

目的探讨健康教育策略在糖尿病临床护理中的作用。方法选取南华大学附属第二医院于2021年10月—2023年10月收治的80例糖尿病患者作为研究对象,采用随机抽签方式将患者分为两组,各40例。对比组行常规护理,研究组行常规护理+个性化健康教育。比较两组患者的血糖、自我管理能力、护理满意度。结果研究组的糖化血红蛋白(6.18±0.63)%、餐后2 h血糖(8.53±1.17)mmol/L、空腹血糖(7.15±1.36)mmol/L均低于对比组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。研究组的自我管理能力评分(67.98±5.67)分高于对比组,差异有统计学意义(P均<0.05)。研究组的护理总满意度为97.50%,明显高于对比组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论糖尿病的常规护理过程中,以个性化健康教育策略进行联合护理,可以促使患者的自我管理能力提升,对控制血糖上升有积极影响。

基于OBE理念的会展专业教育与创新创业教育融合实践研究

本研究以会展策划与管理专业课程为基础,结合实际教学情况和学生反馈意见,通过融合会展专业教育与创新创业教育,旨在探索有效实现二者融合的方式。目前,我国高校会展专业培养存在问题,包括课程设置单一、缺乏创新创业类课程,教学偏理论化、缺少实践环节,以及传统考核方式缺乏创新性。为解决这些问题,本研究提出将创新创业教育融入到会展专业教育中的方案。本文从国内外相关文献出发,阐述了会展专业教育与创新创业教育的概念、特点以及联系点和差距,明确了研究问题。通过深入剖析会展专业教育与创新创业教育,总结出二者的共同点和差异点,确定了本研究的主要研究思路。最后,本文具体介绍了融合方案,包括课程设置、教学方法、评价方式等,并给出了实施步骤。通过实施这一融合方案,本研究旨在提高大学生的综合素质,增强其创新能力,促进社会经济发展。

本科人才培养质量和教学课程方案的初探

传统大学的变革与远程教育的发展——访国际远程教育领域资深专家托尼·贝茨教授

托尼·贝茨教授(Tony Bates)是国际开放与远程教育领域最知名的专家之一。他早年曾协助创建英国开放大学,并在该校工作近20年。1995年至2003年底,贝茨教授在加拿大温哥华的英属哥伦比亚大学(University of British columbia,简称UBC)担任远程教育部主任一职,同时兼任UBC的高等教育学习技术计划与管理国际中心主任。2004年,他创建了专门从事网上学习及远程教育的规划与管理的托尼·贝茨有限公司(Tony Bates Associates Ltd.),并担任董事长及行政总裁。目前,他还担任西班牙的巴塞罗那加泰罗尼亚开放大学的网络学习研究中心主任一职。此外,贝茨教授多年来还一直在世界银行、世界经济合作及发展组织、联合国教科文组织,以及全球三十多个国家的大学及政府部门担任顾问工作。贝茨教授的研究成果非常丰硕,至今共发表了350余篇论文,出版了9本有关远程教育及技术在教学中的应用方面的著作,他的研究涵盖了远程教育实践的各个方面,其中最突出的就是ACTIONS媒体选择模型和关于远程教育成本一效益的研究。此外,他还是远程教育和教育技术领域内6本学术杂志的编委。目前,贝茨教授的研究兴趣主要包括:传统大学中网络学习的应用及其成本-效益问题,网络学习的多元文化问题,以及网络学习和国家经济发展之间的关系等等。

微课结合传统教学方法在新生儿理论授课中的应用

目的通过将微课教学引入新生儿理论课教学,分析比较微课-传统教学相结合与单纯传统教学方式的教学效果的不同。方法选取大连医科大学2015级临床医学五年制本科学生247名,其中试验班217人,传统班30人,试验班在新生儿章节理论授课部分采用微课-传统教学相结合方式,传统班在新生儿章节理论授课部分采用单纯传统教学方式,比较两组期末考试中新生儿部分理论考试成绩,并对微课教学方式的兴趣性和满意度进行调查。结果试验班理论考试成绩总分明显高于传统班,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01);试验班较传统班教学方式感兴趣人数及满意度均明显增多,差异有统计学意义(P<0.01)。结论微课-传统教学相结合及教学方式有助于新生儿章节理论知识的学习,且能调动学生学习的积极性,激发其学习兴趣。
