It is verified that regional income growth does not present absolute beta convergence or sigma convergence, but presents conditional beta convergence from 1978 to 2003. Those economic policies of reform and opening-up to the outside world are provided with regionally heterogeneous characteristics and are powerful enough to influence regional performance in growth.展开更多
