Negative step response experimental method is used in wrist force sensor's dynamic performance calibration. The exciting manner of negative step response method is the same as wrist force sensor's load in working. This experimental method needn't special experiment equipments. Experiment's dynamic repeatability is good. So wrist force sensor's dynamic performance is suitable to be calibrated by negative step response method. A new correlation wavelet transfer method is studied. By wavelet transfer method, the signal is decomposed into two dimensional spaces of time-frequency. So the problem of negative step exciting energy concentrating in the low frequency band is solved. Correlation wavelet transfer doesn't require that wavelet primary function be orthogonal and needn't wavelet reconstruction. So analyzing efficiency is high. An experimental bench is designed and manufactured to load the wrist force sensor orthogonal excitation force/moment. A piezoelectric force sensor is used to setup soft trigger and calculate the value of negative step excitation. A wrist force sensor is calibrated. The pulse response function is calculated after negative step excitation and step response have been transformed to positive step excitation and step response. The pulse response function is transferred to frequency response function. The wrist force sensor's dynamic characteristics are identified by the frequency response function. 展开更多

Firstly,the initial index is screened through rough set attribute reduction algorithm,and the evaluation weight of each index is obtained through the rough set theory. Then,based on the gray correlation theory, an evaluation model is built for empirical analysis. The 30 financial institutions on the Yangtze River Delta are examined from the theoretical and empirical perspective.The result demonstrates not only the feasibility of rough set attribute reduction algorithm in the core competitiveness index system of the financial institution,but also the accuracy of the combination of these two methods in the comprehensive evaluation of corporate core competitiveness. 展开更多

In order to improve performance and security of image encryption algorithm effectively based on chaotic sequences, an extended chaotic sequence generating method is presented based on logistic chaotic system using Bernstein form Bézier curve generating algorithm. In order to test the pseudorandom performance of the extended chaotic sequence, we also analyze random performance, autocorrelation performance, and balance performance of the extended chaotic sequence. Simulation results show that the extended chaotic sequence generated using our method is pseudorandom and its correlation performance and balance performance are good. As an application, we apply the extended chaotic sequence in image encryption algorithm, the simulation results show that the performance of the encrypted image using our method is better than that using logistic chaotic sequence. 展开更多

Mean square inverse beam pattern and pointing error are examined. Special attention is paid to the effects of reference sensor and correlation between sensors. It is shown that fluctuation causes broadening or even distortion of the mean square inverse beam pattern. Phase fluctuation causes pointing error. Its standard variance is proportional to that of fluctuation and is related to the number of sensors of the array. Correlation between sensors has important effects on pointing error. 展开更多

Evaluation of Strength Performance of Finger-jointed Lumbers Using Three Kinds of Nondestructive Techniques

Resonance flexural vibration(Fast Fourier Transform, FFT), ultrasonic wave(Pundit) and stress wave(Metriguard) techniques were examined as means of evaluating the static modulus of elasticity (MOE) and predicting the modulus of rupture (MOR) of finger-jointed lumber specimens made with four kinds of Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus. citriodora, E. exserta, E. grandis x E. urophylla and E. grandis). Dynamic MOE was calculated from frequency and time obtained from forced vibrations and sounds induced in the four species of finger-jointed specimens. It was found that correlation coefficients between density and static MOE and dynamic MOE were statistically significant at the 0.01 level. And it was also found that the three nondestructive techniques can provide rapid and accurate means to determine the MOE, and the dynamic MOE was more accurate to predict static MOE than density. But the correlation coefficient between dynamic MOE, static MOE and MOR were lower than results reported by other researchers for solid wood, and were not statistically significant. It can be concluded that the three nondestructive techniques are useful for evaluating the MOE, but not suitable for predicting the MOR of finger-jointed. 展开更多

Recent developments in 3D graphics technology have led to extensive processes on 3D meshes(e.g.,compression,simplification,transmission and watermarking),these processes unavoidably cause the visual perceptual degradation of the 3D objects.The existing mesh visual quality evaluation metrics either require topology constrain or fail to reflect the perceived visual quality.Meanwhile,for the 3D objects that are observed on 2D screens by the users,it is reasonable to apply image metric to assess the distortion caused by mesh simplification.We attempt to explore the efficiency of image metric for assessing the visual fidelity of the simplified 3D model in this paper.For this purpose,several latest and most effective image metrics,2D snapshots,number and pooling algorithms are involved in our study,and finally tested on the IEETA simplification database.The statistical data allow the researcher to select the optimal parameter for this image-based mesh visual quality assessment and provide a new perspective for the design and performance assessment of mesh simplification algorithms. 展开更多
