How to use these data to assess the storage reliability (SR) of the whole missile is a difficult problem in current research. An SR assessment model based on competition failure of multi-components in missile is proposed. By analyzing the missile life profile and its storage failure feature, the key components in missile are obtained and the characteristics voltage is assumed to be its key performance parameter. When the voltage testing data of key components in missile are available, a state space model (SSM) is applied to obtain the whole missile degradation state, which is defined as the missile degradation degree (DD). A Wiener process with the time-scale model (TSM) is applied to build the degradation failure model with individual variability and nonlinearity. The Weibull distribution and proportional risk model are applied to build an outburst failure model with performance degradation effect. Furthermore, a competition failure model with the correlation between degradation failure and outburst failure is proposed. A numerical example with a set of missiles in storage is analyzed to demonstrate the accuracy and superiority of the proposed model.展开更多

However, there is limited knowledge concerning the variation in competitive effect and response of different species along climatic gradients. In this study, we investigated the importance of climate, tree size, and competition on the growth of three tree species: spruce(Picea abies), fir(Abies alba), and beech(Fagus sylvatica), and examined their competitive response and effect along a climatic gradient. Methods: We selected 39 plots distributed across the European mountains with records of the position and growth of 5,759 individuals. For each target species, models relating tree growth to tree size, climate and competition were proposed. Competition was modelled using a neighbourhood competition index that considered the effects of inter-and intraspecific competition on target trees. Competitive responses and effects were related to climate.Likelihood methods and information theory were used to select the best model. Results: Our findings revealed that competition had a greater impact on target species growth than tree size or climate. Climate did influence the competitive effects of neighbouring species, but it did not affect the target species? response to competition. The strength of competitive effects varied along the gradient, contingent on the identity of the interacting species. When the target species exhibited an intermediate competitive effect relative to neighbouring species, both higher inter-than intraspecific competitive effects and competition reduction occurred along the gradient. Notably, species competitive effects were most pronounced when the target species' growth was at its peak and weakest when growing conditions were far from their maximum. Conclusions: Climate modulates the effects of competition from neighbouring trees on the target tree and not the susceptibility of the target tree to competition. The modelling approach should be useful in future research to expand our knowledge of how competition modulates forest communities across environmental gradients.展开更多

The linear growth systems include the EW equation and the model of random deposition with surface relaxation(RDSR), the nonlinear growth systems involve the KPZ equation and typical discrete models including ballistic deposition(BD), etching, and restricted solid on solid(RSOS). The scaling exponents are obtained in both the(1 + 1)-and(2 + 1)-dimensional competitive growth with the nonlinear growth probability p and the linear proportion 1-p. Our results show that, when p changes from 0 to 1, there exist non-trivial crossover effects from EW to KPZ universality classes based on different competitive growth rules. Furthermore, the growth rate and the porosity are also estimated within various linear and nonlinear growths of cooperation and competition.展开更多

The results show that the amplitude and the period of the atom atom entanglement evolution can be controlled by the choice of initial state and relative coupling strength, respectively. We find that the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death (ESD) is sensitive to the initial conditions. The length of the time interval for zero entanglement depends not only on the initial degree of entanglement between two atoms but also on the relative coupling strength of atom field interaction. The ESD effect can be weakened by enhancing the mode-mode competition between the three- and single-photon processes.展开更多

In this study, new data from previously examined areas were modeled, specifically Catalan and Spanish in Catalonia, Spanish and English in Houston, Texas, Dutch and French in Brussels, Euskera and Spanish in Spain and French and English in Canada. Three mathematical models of the language competition have been validated. The first is the Abrams-Strogatz model, which treats populations as having two monolingual groups. The second is the Castelló model, which considers bilingual speakers. The third is the Mira model, which considers language competition when the two languages have high similarities. It was found that the some of the data matched Abrams-Strogatz original model, but some divergences could still be addressed. It was also found that the Mira model needs some improvement in how it treats the differences between languages.展开更多

The Lotka-Volterra model was applied to esti- mate the interspecific competition between them. Results showed that the growth of L. fissa was significantly suppressed in both bi-algal and tri-algal cultures, and the maximum cell densities in co-cultures were only between 21% and 69% of that in mono-cul- ture. L. fissa outcompeted P. micans;however, its effects on S. costatum and C. marina were generally less than the effects of their intraspecific competitions based on the competition coefficients. Contrarily, the inhibitory effects of S. costatum and C. marina on L. fissa were much greater. S. costatum outcompeted the other three species in all co-cultures, and its competition coefficients on the other species were more than 10000 times higher than the opposite. The growth of C. marina was suppressed by S. costatum;how- ever, it outcompeted L. fissa and P. micans. The growth of P. micans was most strongly inhibited in co-cultures, and the maximum cell densities in co-cultures were less than 15% of that in mono-species culture. The results suggested that L. fissa had few advan- tages in the interspecific competition. The adaptation to low salinity and the utilization of organic phosphorus might be the important reasons for L. fissa to take the competitive predominance in brackish estuarine environments.展开更多

文摘Worldwide trends in mobile electrification will skyrocket demands for lithium-based battery production, driven by the popularity of electric vehicles. However, both lithium metal batteries and lithium ion batteries face severe safety issues due to dendrite nucleation and growth process.Li deposition is significantly influenced by interfacial factors and charging conditions. In this paper,an electrochemical model considering the internal and external factors is proposed based on Monte Carlo method. The influence of internal solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)porosity, thickness and the external conditions on dendrite growth process is systematically described. The simulation results support that the three factors investigated in this model could synergistically regulate the dendrite growth process.Three competition mechanisms are proposed to tailor lithium deposition for Li-based batteries and numerical solutions for variation pattern of dendrite growth with time are fitted.A three-step process describing kinetic process of lithium deposition is proposed. To achieve dendrite-free charging process, charging strategies and emerging materials design should be considered, including physicochemical materials engineering, artificial SEI,and design for dynamic safety boundary. This work could contribute to the foundation for insights of Li deposition mechanism, which is promising to provide guidelines for next-generation high-energy-density and safe batteries in CHAIN framework.

文摘Through reviewing the viewpoints of former scholars, the connotation and features of supply chain of agricultural industrial cluster are introduced. The agricultural industrial cluster model constituted by core network and supporting network is constructed. Three operation models of this kind of supply chain is described: the model takes wholesale market of agricultural products as the core; the model take pillar industries of agricultural industrialization as core; model takes the chains of retail enterprises as core. The competitiveness of agricultural industrial cluster is researched. The research assumes that the competiveness of supply chain of agricultural industrial cluster is mainly represented to make the agricultural industrial cluster to acquire more capabilities in terms of innovation and knowledge sharing capability, resource allocation capability, agile market adaptability and distinct value creation capability.
文摘<div style="text-align:justify;"> In view of the complex problems that freight train ATO (automatic train operation) needs to comprehensively consider punctuality, energy saving and safety, a dynamics model of the freight train operation process is established based on the safety and the freight train dynamics model in the process of its operation. The algorithm of combining elite competition strategy with multi-objective particle swarm optimization technology is introduced, and the winning particles are obtained through the competition between two elite particles to guide the update of other particles, so as to balance the convergence and distribution of multi-objective particle swarm optimization. The performance comparison experimental results verify the superiority of the proposed algorithm. The simulation experiments of the actual line verify the feasibility of the model and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. </div>

文摘A new competitive adsorption isothermal model(CAIM)was developed for the coexistent and competitive binding of heavy metals to the soil surface. This model extended the earlier adsorption isothermal models by considering more than one kind of ion adsorption on the soil surface. It was compared with the Langmuir model using different conditions, and it was found that CAIM,which was suitable for competitive ion adsorption at the soil solid-liquid surface, had more advantages than the Langmuir model. The new competitive adsorption isothermal model was used to fit the data of heavy metal(Zn and Cd)competitive adsorption by a yellow soil at two temperatures. The results showed that CAIM was appropriate for the competitive adsorption of heavy metals on the soil surface at different temperatures. The fitted parameters of CAIM had explicit physical meaning. The model allowed for the calculation of the standard molar Gibbs free energy change, the standard molar enthalpy change, and the standard molar entropy change of the competitive adsorption of the heavy metals,Zn and Cd,by the yellow soil at two temperatures using the thermodynamic equilibrium constants.

文摘Understanding the cooperation-competition dynamics is a long-standing challenge in studying complex systems.Inspired by the idea of Shannon entropy, we define competition information entropy and propose an entropy evolution model. The analytic results of the model of the relation between competition gain distribution parameters and entropy, as well as the relation between entropy and time are compared with empirical results obtained in 14 real world systems. They are found to be in good agreement with each other.

文摘Growth interactions between the dinoflagellate Levanderina fissa (=Gyrodinium instriatum) and the other three algal bloom species Skeletonema costatum (Bacillariophyceae), Prorocentrum micans (Dinophyceae), and Chattonella marina (Raphido- phyceae) were studied using bi- or tri-algal co-cultures under laboratory conditions. The adaptation to low salinity and the utilization of organic phosphorus might be the important reasons for L. fissa to take the competitive predominance in brackish estuarine environments.
