Numerical Simulation of Surrounding Rock Deformation and Grouting Reinforcement of Cross-Fault Tunnel under Different Excavation Methods

Tunnel construction is susceptible to accidents such as loosening, deformation, collapse, and water inrush, especiallyunder complex geological conditions like dense fault areas. These accidents can cause instability and damageto the tunnel. As a result, it is essential to conduct research on tunnel construction and grouting reinforcementtechnology in fault fracture zones to address these issues and ensure the safety of tunnel excavation projects. Thisstudy utilized the Xianglushan cross-fault tunnel to conduct a comprehensive analysis on the construction, support,and reinforcement of a tunnel crossing a fault fracture zone using the three-dimensional finite element numericalmethod. The study yielded the following research conclusions: The excavation conditions of the cross-fault tunnelarray were analyzed to determine the optimal construction method for excavation while controlling deformationand stress in the surrounding rock. The middle partition method (CD method) was found to be the most suitable.Additionally, the effects of advanced reinforcement grouting on the cross-fault fracture zone tunnel were studied,and the optimal combination of grouting reinforcement range (140°) and grouting thickness (1m) was determined.The stress and deformation data obtained fromon-site monitoring of the surrounding rock was slightly lower thanthe numerical simulation results. However, the change trend of both sets of data was found to be consistent. Theseresearch findings provide technical analysis and data support for the construction and design of cross-fault tunnels. 展开更多

Deformation Evolution Characteristics Revealed by GPS and Cross-fault Leveling Data before the M_S8. 0 Wenchuan Earthquake

Based on GPS velocity during 1999-2007,GPS baseline time series on large scale during1999-2008 and cross-fault leveling data during 1985-2008,the paper makes some analysis and discussion to study and summarize the movement,tectonic deformation and strain accumulation evolution characteristics of the Longmenshan fault and the surrounding area before the MS8. 0 Wenchuan earthquake,as well as the possible physical mechanism late in the seismic cycle of the Wenchuan earthquake. Multiple results indicate that:GPS velocity profiles show that obvious continuous deformation across the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau before the earthquake was distributed across a zone at least 500 km wide,while there was little deformation in Sichuan Basin and Longmenshan fault zone,which means that the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau provides energy accumulation for locked Longmenshan fault zone continuously. GPS strain rates show that the east-west compression deformation was larger in the northwest of the mid-northern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone,and deformation amplitude decreased gradually from far field to near fault zone,and there was little deformation in fault zone. The east-west compression deformation was significant surrounding the southwestern segment of the Longmenshan fault zone,and strain accumulation rate was larger than that of mid-northern segment.Fault locking indicates nearly whole Longmenshan fault was locked before the earthquake except the source of the earthquake which was weakly locked,and a 20 km width patch in southwestern segment between 12 km to 22. 5 km depth was in creeping state. GPS baseline time series in northeast direction on large scale became compressive generally from 2005 in the North-South Seismic Belt,which reflects that relative compression deformation enhances. The cross-fault leveling data show that annual vertical change rate and deformation trend accumulation rate in the Longmenshan fault zone were little,which indicates that vertical activity near the fault was very weak and the fault was tightly locked. According to analyses of GPS and cross-fault leveling data before the Wenchuan earthquake,we consider that the Longmenshan fault is tightly locked from the surface to the deep,and the horizontal and vertical deformation are weak surrounding the fault in relatively small-scale crustal deformation. The process of weak deformation may be slow,and weak deformation area may be larger when large earthquake is coming. Continuous and slow compression deformation across eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau before the earthquake provides dynamic support for strain accumulation in the Longmenshan fault zone in relative large-scale crustal deformation. 展开更多

Ionic polymer-metal composite (IPMC) is a type of electroactive polymer (EAP). In this paper, based on Nemat-Nasser model, an improved model is developed to explain the initial nonlinear response of electric actuation on the fixed end deformation. Three IPMC strip samples with different surface resistance are chosen for analysis. Further, from simulation and experiment results, it is found that the root deformation made the tip movement of the IPMC strip with little surface resistance, but this effect was less and less when the surface resistance reduced. The calculation results of this model for the fixed end show a more accurate simulation for the actual deformation of IPMC strips. 展开更多

This study analyzes data regarding cross-fault deformations within the seismogenic zone of the 2016 Qinghai Menyuan Ms6.4 earthquake and its surrounding area. The results showed that the tendency anomaly sites near the epicenter had relatively long anomaly durations prior to the earthquake, while sudden-jumping anomaly sites started to increase in the middle eastern Qilian Mountains approximately a year before the earthquake and continued to increase and migrate towards the vicinity of the epicenter two to six months before the earthquake. Intensive observations a few days after the earthquake indicated that abnormal returns and turns before the earthquake were significant, but all had small amplitudes, and the coseismic effect was generally minor. In addition, the post-seismic tendency analysis of individual cross faults in the Qilian Mountain fault zone revealed an accelerating thrust tendency at all cross-fault sites in the middle Qilian Mountains after the 2008 Wenchuan Ms8.0 earthquake. This indicates that the Wenchuan mega-earthquake exerted a great impact on the dynamic environment of the northeastern margin of the Qinghai-Tibet plate and significantly enhanced the extrusion effect of the Indian plate on the middle Qilian Mountains, generating favorable conditions for the occurrence of Menyuan thrust earthquakes. 展开更多

目的:基于多准则决策模型对隐形和固定矫治器治疗儿童错[牙合]畸形进行效益-风险分析。方法:选择2022年1月至10月进行正畸治疗的110例错[牙合]畸形患儿,采用无托槽隐形矫正器治疗(隐形组)55例,采用多托槽固定矫治器治疗(固定组)55例。... 目的:基于多准则决策模型对隐形和固定矫治器治疗儿童错[牙合]畸形进行效益-风险分析。方法:选择2022年1月至10月进行正畸治疗的110例错[牙合]畸形患儿,采用无托槽隐形矫正器治疗(隐形组)55例,采用多托槽固定矫治器治疗(固定组)55例。比较两组患儿治疗前后牙龈指数(GI)、菌斑指数(PLI)、龈沟出血指数(SBI)和龈沟探诊深度(SPD)、咀嚼功能、口腔健康影响程度量表(OHIP)得分、龈沟液中TNF-α和IL-1β含量、牙槽骨密度、牙槽骨高度的差值,以及治疗费用和并发症发生状况。建立多准则决策模型,比较两组的效益值和风险值。结果:两组治疗前后SBI、PLI、咀嚼功能、OHIP得分,IL-1β和TNF-α含量、不适感差值比较,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05),隐形组治疗费用高于固定组(P<0.05)。多准则决策决策模型显示效益指标中对治疗影响最大的是PLI,风险指标是牙周脓肿;隐形组和固定组的效益值分别为78和63,风险值分别为74和57,隐形组效益-风险总值比固定组高出16;在0%~100%相对风险权重范围内,隐形组的效益-风险总值总是高于固定组。结论:隐形矫治器治疗儿童错[牙合]畸形有助于保持牙周健康,具有更高的安全性。 展开更多

目的:观察固定矫治器正畸联合种植义齿修复治疗牙列缺损合并错(牙合)畸形患者的效果。方法:选取2019年6月至2021年6月该院收治的82例牙列缺损合并错(牙合)畸形患者进行前瞻性研究,按照掷硬币法分为观察组与对照组各41例。对照组予以种... 目的:观察固定矫治器正畸联合种植义齿修复治疗牙列缺损合并错(牙合)畸形患者的效果。方法:选取2019年6月至2021年6月该院收治的82例牙列缺损合并错(牙合)畸形患者进行前瞻性研究,按照掷硬币法分为观察组与对照组各41例。对照组予以种植义齿修复治疗,观察组在对照组基础上联合固定矫治器正畸治疗,比较两组治疗优良率、咀嚼效率、红色美学指数(PES)评分、白色美学指数(WES)评分和并发症发生率。结果:观察组治疗优良率为95.12%,明显高于对照组的80.49%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);修复治疗后3个月,两组咀嚼效率高于治疗前,且观察组高于对照组,差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05);修复治疗后3个月,观察组PES、WES评分均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);观察组并发症发生率为4.88%,明显低于对照组的24.39%,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:固定矫治器正畸联合种植义齿修复治疗牙列缺损合并错(牙合)畸形患者可提高治疗优良率、咀嚼效率、PES和WES评分,以及降低并发症发生率,效果优于单纯种植义齿修复治疗。 展开更多

目的:观察舌肌功能训练联合固定矫治器治疗早期牙源性错牙合畸形患儿的效果。方法:选取2020年2月至2023年2月该院收治的66例早期牙源性错牙合畸形患儿进行前瞻性研究,按照随机数字表法将其分为对照组和观察组各33例。对照组采用固定矫... 目的:观察舌肌功能训练联合固定矫治器治疗早期牙源性错牙合畸形患儿的效果。方法:选取2020年2月至2023年2月该院收治的66例早期牙源性错牙合畸形患儿进行前瞻性研究,按照随机数字表法将其分为对照组和观察组各33例。对照组采用固定矫治器治疗,观察组在对照组基础上联合舌肌功能训练治疗,两组均治疗6个月。比较两组临床疗效,治疗前后咀嚼肌肌电指标(咬肌、颞肌、二腹肌募集电位)水平、咀嚼功能[Karaduman咀嚼行为量表(KCPS)]评分和牙周指标(菌斑指数、软垢指数)水平。结果:观察组治疗总有效率为90.91%(30/33),高于对照组的69.70%(23/33),差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后,观察组咬肌、颞肌、二腹肌募集电位均高于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后,观察组KCPS评分低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05);治疗后,观察组菌斑指数、软垢指数均低于对照组,差异有统计学意义(P<0.05)。结论:舌肌功能训练联合固定矫治器治疗早期牙源性错牙合畸形患儿可提高治疗总有效率和咀嚼肌肌电指标水平,降低咀嚼功能评分和牙周指标水平,效果优于单纯固定矫治器治疗。 展开更多

目的:对比无托槽隐形矫治与固定矫治错[牙合]畸形患者的治疗效果及对龈沟液炎症因子水平、牙齿咬合功能的影响。方法:回顾性收集我院2021年5月至2023年5月收治的92例错[牙合]畸形患者的病例资料,按手术方案不同分为两组(n=46),观察组接... 目的:对比无托槽隐形矫治与固定矫治错[牙合]畸形患者的治疗效果及对龈沟液炎症因子水平、牙齿咬合功能的影响。方法:回顾性收集我院2021年5月至2023年5月收治的92例错[牙合]畸形患者的病例资料,按手术方案不同分为两组(n=46),观察组接受无托槽隐形矫治,对照组接受固定矫治。对比两组患者矫治6m后矫治效果;矫治前、矫治3 m、6 m后牙周健康指标,包括牙龈指数(Gingival index,GI)、龈沟出血指数(Sulcus bleeding index,SBI)、菌斑指数(Plaqueindex,PLI)、牙周探诊深度(Periodontaldepth,PD)以及并发症发生率,并采用Tee Tester咬合力检测仪检测矫治前、矫治3 m、6 m后牙齿咬合功能([牙合]力总值、[牙合]力中心点最大位移、[牙合]力不对称指数),采用酶联免疫吸附试验检测矫治前、矫治3 m、6 m后龈沟液炎症因子,如白细胞介素-6(Interleukin-6,IL-6)、可溶性细胞间粘附分子-1(Soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1,sICAM-1)、白细胞介素-1β(Interleukin-1β,IL-1β)水平。结果:观察组总有效率97.83%(45/46)相较于对照组78.26%(36/46)更高(P<0.05);与矫治前相比,各治疗组的GI、SBI、PLI、PD均明显降低(P<0.05),其中观察组更为显著(P<0.05);与矫治前相比,各治疗组的[牙合]力总值均明显升高,[牙合]力中心点最大位移、[牙合]力不对称指数均明显降低,其中观察组更为显著(P<0.05);与矫治前相比,各治疗组的龈沟液IL-6、sICAM-1、IL-1β水平均明显升高,其中对照组更为显著(P<0.05);观察组并发症发生率4.35%(2/46)相较于对照组21.74%(10/46)更低(P<0.05)。结论:经无托槽隐形矫治错[牙合]畸形患者整体矫治效果优于固定矫治。 展开更多

High-rate GPS data from the United States continuously operating reference stations in the Alaska region are processed using the recently developed precise point positioning(PPP) technique. The traditional PPP technique does not fix ambiguities into their integers because these ambiguities do not have an integer nature when data from a single receiver, as well as precise orbit and clock corrections, are used. Additional corrections, i.e.,uncalibrated phase delay(UPD), are needed to fix integer ambiguities and consequently improve positioning accuracy. This study proposes a methodology to compute for wide-lane and L2(the second L-band frequency) UPDs using the geometry-based model and subsequently applies these parameters to the computation for ambiguity-fixed solutions. The instantaneous displacements of near-field sites, as well as the permanent deformations after the earthquake, are therefore obtained for the January 5, 2013,Alaska earthquake. The real-time performance of PPP solutions are assessed by considering realistic data latency and data interval of corrections. Ambiguity-fixed solutions are compared with ambiguity-float ones. The comparison shows that the positioning accuracy can be improved significantly when the ambiguities are fixed correctly. Thesolutions using the real-time corrections are also compared with those using post-processing corrections, i.e., Center for Orbit Determination in Europe final orbit and clock.Although the accuracy is somehow degraded because of the data latency and data interval, the real-time results are satisfactory for use in monitoring the small-scale deformation(1–2 cm) caused by the Alaska earthquake. In addition, the kinematic ambiguity-fixed PPP solutions for7 days around the earthquake are calculated to obtain permanent pre- and post-earthquake deformations. The deformations computed from real-time and post-processing corrections do not appear to be significantly different. 展开更多
